My nails were too thick and Their attempt to fix them was to reshape them around the side and not take the thickness off the top. Wouldn’t listen to me talked over me my worst nightmare..... enjoyed that 65+ tip because I won’t be back🖕

Poor quality polish and service. The shop is very clean and there are several people to service you. I made a 5:30 appointment and was not serviced until 6:10. When my nail tech finally came she did a poor job with my no chip manicure and after 3 coats of polish suggested we add more in order to make it look better. The owner then came and acknowledged that the work was sub par and stated that unfortunately that’s all they can do. When I asked for the polish to be removed and redone she refused. There is no purpose in having 20+ nail techs if they are not providing quality service. The was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon.

I visited this location with my mother yesterday. I enjoyed my pedi, but I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this acrylic set. This has to be the worst set Ive ever gotten, and for $60.00 they do not meet my expectations at all. The shape is uneven, and the length is inconsistent. The no chip polish was applied poorly. I drove 45 minutes because I heard good things about this salon, but I am sooo disappointed. Ill just stick to my regular salon

Gosh, I wanted this to be a good experience. Sadly, it was probably the worst and most rushed pedicure that I have ever received. I visited at 4:09 today- within in the last hour before closing. The pedicure was rushed and nail polish sloppily applied. Just awful. This used to be a really great place to visit. Unfortunately, since moving to this larger location, the quality of the service has definitely declined.

It’s unfortunate because I used to love this nail salon. It was the best I had ever gone to. It is very clean and organized. I have been coming here for at least 3 years. I have brought so many friends and family because of how much I trust the establishment.Unfortunately I went in on 08/02/20 for a no-chip and upon the removal of my previous no-chip, they only used the machine—vs. remove top layer and then soak— and they stripped the bed nail insanely. I told the technician several times during our session that it was hurting me, still he continued the same method, and then continued carefully until he then repeated the same mistake. I thought my nails would recover from the experience; they did not. Slowly they started coming off all together, and it was very painful to even wash my hair.I went in because they guarantee that the nails will last 2 weeks. I proved to them my proof of purchase and they refused to take accountability for what happened. The business ethical misconduct here is that my hands were mutilated and I came on that basis. I asked them to simply remove the no-chip and they became defensive and denied me any sort of compromise.They are clearly in the business of making money, but I believe it is entirely unethical to deliver a service without the morals of doing a good job and having sympathy for when something clearly is wrong.I will no longer support this business because the way they handled the situation was so poor. Scam.

The nail technician was very cordial and polite its the administration or the hostess that was very cold not smiling Robotic and didnt even really have the time to evaluate certain service that was requested ehich I know they could have done.

There was no wait time, the staff was very friendly. It was a great surprise surprise my wife and of course to top off their great service they also had margaritas to serve that were free of charge with your massages 10/10 for me

It was my fist time and it was extremely busy. I received great service from the technician. Reception could have been a little better with explaining the different services and facility to a first timer. The phones were ringing off the hook.

I’ve been coming here for years because of the amount of nail technicians but never again. They have you pick colors and then sit down and wait for someone. They don’t put anyone on in order of service. I sat with my feet in the water until it got cold. I saw 6 different women sit after me for pedicures and all had been attended to. I got up to leave and the owner (lady) told me all those women had appointments when clearly they didn’t because I could hear? Hello! I went to the salon on 104/Kedzie and I was treated like my time and money mattered. And I left with a better manicure and pedicure for about 50 dollars less. Villa nails do not care about your business or your experience. The know they have enough customers . Do not waste your time

Such a horrible customer service experience!! I’ve lived in oak lawn for quite some time. I decided to go to Villa for the first time. I met the owners and they were super nice MY FIRST VISIT! My second experience not so much! I Walked in and was greeted and offered to “go somewhere else” by the manager on shift! Emma and Ashley DONT DESERVE TO BE EMPLOYED HERE ANYMORE! Couldn’t believe how publicly rude they were in a place of business! Lied to me and my fiancé about pricing. Please get these 2 out of the establishment. A dynamic duo of disaster!

I recently got a full set and a pedicure here and I went back the following week to get a nail repair and color change on hands and feet. I arrived at 5:30 and was told that they were to busy to take me and they were full although there last service is performed at 7:30 the staff would not allow me to be seen I waited outside furious as I watched 4 women walk in without appointments because I asked. I then called from my cell phone and asked if they were seeing anyone and they said over the phone they were still accepting walk ins. Totally confused at this point as to why they refused to service me! Totally disappointed in 2021 to receive such treatment.

Do not I repeat do NOT go here if you want a nail design. I like their services and have gone here for three years now and in those three years every time I ask for a design it is a complete failure. Tonight was the last straw. Before they started with my hands I showed them a picture of the nail design I wanted. They said okay. Not only did she finish everything and forgot I had for a design but then was about to start doing a design I didnt ask for. I stopped her and went to pay. The man who was there (who saw the picture earlier and knew I asked for a design) asked if I liked it and I said no. He then made an excuse about how they dont have the design stones I wanted: which they never told me and I know for a fact they do I have seen their nail technicians and receptionist have the design and then told me I needed a special liquid dip to do my design which I would have paid for no problem. The only people who get nail designs that are good quality are the nail technicians themselves. Its absolutely ridiculous. If you want any nail designs GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Im going to repeat it DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A NAIL DESIGN!!!!

The first time, I sat for over an hour waiting on a pedicure/manicure, I had an appointment by the way, then was expected to tip at the end.. Yea ok, second time I came I made an appointment after walking in & being told there would be an hour wait, no big deal, I come back an hour later for my appointment, just to sit for another 30 minutes waiting to be told no one can provide a service for me because I have acrylic overlay on my nail & it would “be a long wait”... an hour before close? I told the receptionist what exactly I was getting when I made the appointment so why wasn’t that known? I am never coming here again, a waste of time & money.

I’ve been coming to this establishment for years. Some employees here are wonderful, some not. I’m ok with that. After a couple of years it started feeling like a factory. You’re not really appreciated or valued as a customer by no means. I had made an appointment a week in advance. I have 2 kids in remote learning Mon-Frid and 1 toddler in therapy 3x a week, I am exhausted. So getting my nails done is a small little luxury of mine. When I get there the owner tells me that the nail tech I requested was sick and my appointment was cancelled and goes to work with her own client. I just stand there with shock. The receptionist asks if she can help me, she repeats the same thing the owner said. I told her no one called me in advance to tell me about the cancellation. She responded that they don’t keep personal numbers. That is completely understandable. So I say, “That’s it?” She stares at me and says yea. I stand there for a minute. No one offers me another nail tech, or to come another day when the nail tech i requested is in. They just wanted me to leave. So I did. I’ll never come here again. By far... THEE WORST experience I’ve ever had. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They treat you like nothing. Even though you’ve been a loyal customer going to them for years paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars. No more. If i could give zero stars I would.

This really is a shame because I used to love this place. I brought so many friends and family members here. But lately the workers have been so unprofessional and rude it’s insane. I came in to get a nail fixed that broke one day after getting my set. There was no one in the lobby waiting and clearly there were workers available because there were a bunch sitting at chairs on their phones. The lady at the front desk told me there was a two hour wait right after she rolled her eyes at me when I walked in. my last three or four visits she has also been nothing but rude to me from the second I walked in. Frankly, the only reason I kept going back is because I was always pleased with my nails. But I will not be giving this business my money anymore. It’s a shame because they’re losing a monthly customer and I will also be telling everyone that I brought to Villa to never go back.

They do pretty ok work but do yourself a favor and cut your own cuticles before going in. They have an outrageous charge of $10 to cut your cuticles.

Don’t waste your time. I went to get my mani and pedi before my vacation and I regret it I’ve never regret getting my nails done but at this place I did. First, they charge extra 10 to cut your cuticles lol what kind of service then they pressure you to get a more expensive pedicure. I got like 5 little diamonds on one nail and I told the guy that if they will stay on. Next day I called because 4 of them were gone and they did not want to put them on I would have to pay again. Don’t waste your time ladies.

As a first time customer, walking in the receptionists and staff were welcoming. I can tell that this salon can sporadically become busy throughout the week. I only came in for an impromptu manicure and the downside to the visit was the wait time, which I didnt really mind. Just as an observation, seems I may have received faster service if I came in for a Mani/pedi. Next time, I will try one of their pedicure services, esp after noticing the relaxed look on the faces of the customers. I was pleased with my simple manicure as well as the wide selection of nail colors. The four stars was for the wait and not a reflection of the technicians work or the salons overall service.

During this day of age, you would think a business would go above and beyond for their customers. Not Villa Nails. They act like they are doing you a favor when you walk in. I find them very rude and unprofessional, especially the front desk. I also always feel rushed - they want to get you in and out - like an assembly line. When I was there yesterday, she gave me the folder with the upcharge of services. I did look but declined. She grabbed the sheet and appeared to be annoyed. This was one time too many - there are many choices I could get my mani/pedi, Villa will NOT be one of them.

Ive been coming here lately for my full sets/acrylic nails and I had always been satisfied although today I was just a little bit confused on how I spent $100 on just a dip powder acrylic long full set. The charges were $60 for the dip powder $10 for the cut cuticles $15 for bail design $5 for coffin shape $5 for long length and I also tipped the lady before paying a $10 tip. I do have receipt I’ll post it along with the work. I’m not saying I didn’t like it I just think the additional charges like the cuticles and nail design shouldn’t have been to high my nail design was just a red thin line across my nails so $15 dollars for the is ridiculous and $10 to just cut cuticles. I under if I would have got charged $10 for my length and $5 for shape but dam.

My second time here and I absolutely loved the shape. The nail tech took his time making sure everything was even and well applied. Very content. Will keep going back.

I didn’t get what I wanted. I simply wanted a full set with my chosen no chip with a couple lines on them in silver. I told the nail tech before he got started. By the end, I mentioned it again because he hadn’t done my lines. He says that designs are done in powder and he made no effort to add it. But whatever, I was irritated but they looked cute so I let it go. He made sure to ask if I was adding a tip though. Approx 1 week later, the polish was chipping at edges. Approx 2 weeks and I have 5 nails pulling up at the base. I’d probably go back for a pedicure but not for the addition of nails. Not happy.

Make sure you get the full treatment your paying for. My massage didnt last 20 minutes and I wasnt offered a beverage.

Worst customer service. They left me in a pedicure chair with my feet in cold water. I asked for a French manicure on my fingers and they told me no one could do it. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. Never will I give them any business ever again.

It’s 45 and up for Delux services and $30 for a basic pedicure. They offer No Chip, Dip, designs (Ashley is the best) and other trendy services.Brows and Lashes (new) are available too.My only complaint is I have a hard time getting through on the phone

Beast nail salon I have ever been to! Amazing selection of pedicures (I chose lavender) I got a full set of dip nails and a pedi and I was there for no more than 45 min, they did nails and toes at the same time!!! Not only was it quick but they did such a good job! They were very clean and sanitary! I will definitely be back! Best nail salon around!

The actual ending product is good but I feel like each time I come I get charged for something I didnt ask for. For example today I got a no chip polish change, I get my receipt and it says no chip manicure, I inquire and I was told because she used a special spray and clipped my thumb cuticle it was a manicure. I did not ask for a manicure, she said she needed to clip my cuticle because the polish would not lay flat.. The service is quick but I dont like being mislead. The managers could also brush up on thier customer service skills

Ive been going to Villa for a year now (currently 10/2020). I never make an appointment and always get the next person up. All my pedicures have been good, and I usually get the most expensive or 2nd most expensive pedicure on their menu. I visited on 10/13 and Queenie gave me a pedi and mani. Out of all the times Ive ever visited Villa, Queenie did the best job! I tipped her over 50% because I was so impressed with the job she did. I will make appointments with her now going forward. Ill never go to anyone else! Villa, do NOT change a thing and dont let Queenie slip out of your reach. LOL.

You pay for what you get... Well I paid for the highest priced pedicure but didnt seen to get full service. If you promote a massage for 50 minutes along with polish service and maintenance then I have no problem tipping. But for 95 bucks I need a real spa with some people who actually specialize in this. Not one off a ship coming working for family members. I work very hard for my money and Ill be dam if you think imma tip you after paying 95 bucks for half a service. To be upscale your workers must have the same mission while working. But I will not return. This shop isnt no different than your typical nail shop in the hood. Only difference is youll pay more for the same thing. Hell No 👎

I went there this Saturday and I was totally disgusted. They did not follow CDC guidelines. I had an appointment, but I had to wait an extra 30 minutes. They were allowing walk-ins, customers weren’t wearing masks, there were way too many people in the building (I would seriously have to guess about 75 people in the store at once). No one was social distancing and no one was enforcing it. Plus, my nails are incredibly thick and not the color I wanted. I am so disappointed.

I come here a lot in the summers and have never been thrilled with their service, but it’s close to home. After today, I don’t think I’ll be going back. I called ahead (I don’t want to wait for 45 minutes just to get in) to get a manicure and asked if they could fix a crack in my nail that won’t grow out. When I said that I wanted a basic manicure they wouldn’t make an appointment for me. When I came in, they said that they couldn’t fix my nail. When I asked if they couldn’t even put some filler in it to help it grow out, they said no. I suspect that they were being difficult because I wanted/needed a basic service. The girl’s tone was dismissive, and they were able to fix a toe nail last year. It’s weird and bad for business that the staff couldn’t care less if a customer, who’s happy to spend money, comes in and then walks out without service just because they need a basic service.

Expensive but worth it. I feel so pampered when I go here. It is truly an experience with beverages, the awesome massage chairs, and most importantly it is a clean facility! My nails are always good and this is.one of few places I can actually say is worh the money you spend on nails. 9/10 times my nail tech is pleasant!

Love my manicure, been going for several years

Not all happy with my service is today. They only have two nail techs who knows how to do ombre dipped nails. Today I went in to do something simple. I got coffin shaped with 2 finger gold and rest a light orange color. The nail tech made a lot of rookie mistakes. I had to speak with the manager Kim and she told him to fix it. I did not like the the techs technique and work. At this point I was upset because I had been there for an hour and half just getting my nails done. The nail tech got the shape wrong and uneven. It should be done right the first time not the second or third time. They use to have so many good talented techs but they are all gone except for a few. I will not be returning back. This is disappointing Ive recommend Villa to so many people who have gone to get their nails done. Ive been a loyal customer for over 3 years.

Very disappointed and angry! I have been patronizing Villa Nails for the last 3+ years. Unfortunately I will never go back again. Today I received treatment and disrespect not deserved. Went in to get my nails done! I’ve been getting my nails Dipped for quite a while. And today for some reason they decided not to soak nail color off! Instead my nail tech decided to use her electric file to file the color off. When I inquired on why she was doing it and not using the acetone cotton and aluminum foil. She informed me that this is the new way of doing it! Me not be in a nail technician said OK. However when she attempted Start working on my new dip color looking at my nails I noticed I still had glitter and polish left on my nails😡😡!! When I pointed this out Ashley the owner’s sister, who was not doing my nails decided to attempt to explain to me. That it was no big deal in a high-pitched what I would consider disrespectful tone. Not a big deal? Did you not see the ABC channel 7 special regarding the dip and fungus that it can cause!! I can go on and on.. I would not recommend Villa to anyone. I paid for a service and expected the service to be done correctly but instead I was disrespected and talked to in a manner that I did not deserve. Patrons beware and nail techs be advised, not everyone who comes in to Villa nails is uneducated on nail care and don’t know what should be done and how it should be done. 👋🏽

Did not like their customer service at all. I came in for a regular manicure along with my two daughters this past Sunday. We are a basically repeat customers and I am a generous tipper when great customer service is showed for me and my daughters. However this time the nail tech who was doing my nails from the get go he seemed exhausted and tried to convince me to get a no chip which is more expensive and my guess its a better deal for him. I told him, thank you but not this time since Im trying to let my nails heals from the past nail set. From there on he seemed to be in a rush and just did a sloppy job which I let him know but he was just plain careless. I checked out and when I saw the receipt I noticed a pedicure charge that I never had. I was so upset, all because he was rushing to move on to the next service. Unfortunately they couldnt do anything until Monday business day. Up to now I am still waiting for a credit to show on my statement which I understand it takes a couple days to reflect but its just the horrible customer service that gets to me the most. I will not bring my business to this facility anymore.

First time here. Really wish they had the color I selected but the man found me 1 that was semi close to what I wanted. He also gave me an excellent pedicure massage. The chair massage was pretty good as well. Glad they could fit me and my friend in because we didnt make a reservation so I was very happy about that because a lot of ppl got turned away when it became more crowded. SELF DISTANCIN was not a problem and everyone had mask on. I am surprised they dont wax eyebrows here. I paid $83 for the basic pedi and no chip full set.

Villa nails has a great staff, but management is greedy!!!!!!!!!!! They charge $8.00 to remove no chip polish, won’t bend on ridiculous prices for removal. $4.00 is responsible and the money villa nails make can afford to charge only $4.00. Stop trying to make customers pay for your new establishment!!!! Your staff needs great tips and your price range of things will make tips less or even none. 😡😡😡😡😡

I love Villa nails I’ve never had any issues with any workers there but Elaine has a fit when I asked her to change the color to match my nail color. Mind you the color was supposed to be the match but it obviously wasn’t at all! Then she got upset that I didn’t like her design on my toes! Do not go to Elaine worst service ever!

Let me start off by saying that prior to this visit I had a great experience at this salon with Jojo who was phenomenal with the deluxe pedicure. I called to schedule my usual with her but was informed that she no longer worked there anymore. I asked the receptionist for her suggestion on someone who was just as good as Jojo. She suggested Daisy and I scheduled as usual. I arrived at least 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment with Daisy. She arrives about 10 minutes late, which is fine because I know that things do happen. But I could not understand as to why she felt the need to do a rush job on my pedicure. She filed my toenails unevenly, handled my feet/legs aggressively, and gave me one of the laziest massages that I had ever experienced. There were individuals who had there services begin prior to mine but somehow my service was completed before theirs. I looked around and notice how other workers were very attentive and took their time. They offered their clients a beverage and ensured that they were comfortable. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews that I read because I definitely wont be returning to this place in this lifetime.

Made 3 appointments for my sisters wedding this weekend. When we arrived they said to come back tomorrow they were closing early. Completely unacceptable, they were still assisting customers but wouldnt honor our appointment. Luckily we were able to walk in to classy nails on 104th and kedzie and they had impeccable customer service and did a great job. Check them out instead, you wont regret it.

Came for a pedicure and no chip manicure. Manicurist helped me pick out a nude pink color. Once he was done I noticed you could still see through the nails and there was cotton stuck under my nails. I told them and they told me there was nothing they could do. I left upset and came back the next day and they said theyd fix it. As they were about to fix it, they told me they would fix up to 2 nails or it would cost $25. I told them just to take the polish off and instead of soaking my nails they just used the tool. It burned my nails, there was still nail polish on my nails and my nails are a weak, bumpy mess. I literally left in tears. It was the absolute WORST experience Ive ever had.

If I could give zero I would. They didnt give me a receipt and I broke a nail within the first week I got them. Then when I went to get it fixed they told me I should have asked for a receipt even though I was not told any information at all about receipts and fixing nails. I also had photo evidence about when I got my mails done and when it broke, and I could also point out the girl who did my nails. They also have a signed receipt but they couldnt look for it. They have a sign at the front of the store that guarantees 2 weeks for no chip polish and dip, the sign says nothing about being for natural nails or not. Which mine were acrylic and they refused to fix it because it was acrylic and they say the sign is for natural nails only when it does not say that. Dont waste your business there and actually go to a place that cares.

My daughter and I would go every 2 weeks. I was happy with my nails at first but I hated that they would scrape my nails EVERY TIME they took the polish off. It would hurt! I than noticed that my nails were thinning out and would brake easily after getting my nails done and spending so much money. Some of the employees were rude and unprofessional also.

Been here twice. Really disappointed each time. I don’t usually make reviews but I’ve had a painful scab on my pinky for about a week now because a young lady using the electric file hit my skin, and when I told her to stop, she continued to use the tool on all of my nails. So frustrating. I’m almost convinced it’s infected. She continued to stare at me talking to my friend afterwards and made me super uncomfortable.My pedicure was less than mediocre too. I typically give myself my own pedicures because I make sure it looks opaque and clean. the paint on my toes was messy looking and did not look like it was done by a professional.Place looks nice but the people are not quality. Not worth the money. Go somewhere else!

Let me start by saying I been going to this salon since they have opened . Today I went to get my nails done & I was cut by the nail tech & she also did horrible on my nails. I asked for 5 dollars off & was told No. I had to leave the shop with nails I didn’t like & was a mess. I was told to next time ask for a different nail tech. I will no longer be going to this establishment. As a regular customer I should’ve got my nails re done over for free or 5 dollars off from today or next time. Bad business move on the management. Will now spend my money with an black owned salon

I used to go to this place pretty regularly. But since they moved, I feel that the work from the techs has declined. It is like a factory, not relaxing at all. They do the manicure while they do ur pedicures. The last time I went their the nail tech over filed my nail, and made my cuticles bleed. I got a dip done on my nails, and it looks horrible. Way too thick and I had to complain to the manager about the horrible mess my nails looked like. I was so upset. I asked for s ok me else to fix, but still looks horrible. Would not recommend at all. Owner just stared at me as I let her know the issue and never offered to take anything off my bill.

I will never go back I spent 85 bucks plus a 18 dollar tip and my nails were not filed down properly and my feet still have a ton of dead skin on them. Had I realized my feet were not done properly while there I would of said something. My thumb nails are so wide. It was not with the 100 bucks. I will not be going back. I now have to pay someone else to fix my nails for my engagment pics this weekend. So now Im out 130+ dollars.A friend of mine went with me and her feet were not done right either and the girl who did her nails cut into one of her fingers. So we were both out 100 bucks. It was not worth it.

No chip mani and pedi at the same time!! Ive had 4 different techs and all did a great job. Tell them what you like and theyll accommodate. It never feels like theyre rushing your service to get to the next patron!

Last month I went to get mani / pedi no chip I asked for the same color for both nails and toes guy didn’t use the same one on my toes. He used another similar color. by the time I was about to leave I notice my toe had a chip caused by the chair and when I ask them if they could fix it the girl seems flustered she asked me what color it was and I told her I wasn’t sure because the guy didn’t use the color I asked for, she asked me where the polish was and I honestly didn’t know because the guy put them away I suggested asking him and she said he’s gone for the day. She used the back of my receipt to match some colors and ended up using a totally different one.. (I didn’t get my receipt)I also had gem stones put in that day too on both ring fingers, those didn’t last a whole week but they were nice enough to fix that issue!

Absolutely love this place. Anytime I need help selecting colors or am unsure of what to get- they’re always there to help! Also love the wine!

They do good work on your nails but they dont treat the customers good

The job on my nails was great, it was the customer service that was lacking. I was scolded for not wanting certain things like my cuticles touched, or a Dremel tool being used on my nails. When the ultraviolet machine didnt dry my nails properly, it could not have possibly been the machine malfunctioning, I was told I was not placing my hand in the machine properly. (Insert hand light turns on...not rocket science) My inability to understand the Mandarin or Vietnamese that the young lady was speaking to her colleague was uncomfortable enough...one may not understand the language, but tone is definitely understood. As the young lady talked to her colleague, they both stared at me and giggled. As a customer, I am paying for a service, therefore if I do not want a Dremel tool to be used on my nails or for my cuticles to be cut and/or pushed back, then please move on. I explained that working in healthcare I need the shortest nails possible and my cuticles intact, and how I usually do not do anything to my nails, but this was a special occasion.

Love this place to death my nails were well done very gentle on the hands and the people are just amazing!
