It was my first time going here... It was great, my nails and toes are beautiful! The last 2 places Ive been ha e done a horrible job but Tyes did an amazing job! This is my new go to place!!

I went to tye’s for the first time today. I asked for a more kind of complex design and my nails turned out exactly how I was picturing. Tye did such a great job, I will definitely be going back.

Kim is the absolute best!! They are priced well for the excellent service and quality of work. They have a huge selection of dip colors. I get compliments on my nails constantly and Im proud to say, Go see Kim at Tys nails!

*1st and last time client!*I stopped in for my 5pm appointment and was immediately greeted and asked to pick a color. Everything was fine until the shaping of my nails started. I was getting dip on my natural nails. Ive been getting my nails done for over 12 years, so I know what shapes are what. I had to ask multiple times to get the coffin shape I wanted, because the shape they kept leaving was squared round. The lady was nice and tried to do so, but I could tell she was not well experienced. I had to get a tip on one of my broken nails which made my thumb look like it was pointing up. I had to ask to get that shorten to match the others, because it was left a lot longer. I could tell that bothered her. She didnt reshape that nail, so that one looks squared while the rest look semi- coffin. I opted for an easier rhinestone on each nail, becausethey couldnt do a design I wanted.My nails look bumpy, mis-shapen, the cuticles were not sealed correctly, and my rhinestones are lopsided. I know they were closing, so I stopped asking for things to get fixed, paid, and left. I left this place with tears in my eyes. I went there based on the high ratings and because my regular was busy. I have now rescheduled with my regular to fix this mess. Never ever will I step foot in this place.

I had tye and another gentleman. Dip manicure and shellac pedicure. Both did a fantastic job and they look amazing. I will definitely be back! Staff is incredible.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Found Tye after a few previous disasters elsewhere. We are new to Iowa so this has been an experience to say the least. Im finally in love with my nails again and the pedicures are very good as well. If your a lashes kinda girl they do that really well also.

In all honesty, these people do WAY too good of a job. My current romantic interest got her nails did here and she has become far too powerful. Just when I thought she had attained perfection, she improved on her looks even further. I dont know how much more I can handle, shes SO HOT!!! To all ladies who wish to look almost as gorgeous as she does, I say to you: Get there today!

My nails look so good and they were so nice there. My boyfriend got his done and he has pretty short nails and they looked really good too. Definitely would recommend.

I had eyelashes extension a couple of days ago. Some lashes started to fall off within hours after they were applied.

Love how quick they are to serve you. They are very careful about being sanitary. All of them are so nice and good at what they do.

I love going to Tyes for a pedicure! Their massage chairs are super comfortable, and even the most basic package makes me feel pampered. The employees are all friendly - I was greeted right when I came through the door and guided where to go (Ive been to other businesses that leave you unsure of how to proceed, so this was a very comforting feeling for a newbie).

Ive been going to Tyes for about a year and have never had a bad experience. Today was the first time since the covid shutdown. Everybody was wearing a mask (employees and patrons) and were spaced apart. Everything seemed very sanitary (as usual). I appreciate them doing everything possible to operate safely and respectfully. I will certainly continue to give them my business!

Tye’s Nails & Spa always doing a great job. I started going in winter of 2017. Everyone who works there is always nice & spends the time with their clients. I’m a regular and created great relationships. My nails (hands & toes) are always done with quality and last! I highly recommend!

I went for eyelash extensions 3 times. The first time was great. I loved my tech and she did a fabulous job. After 2 weeks my eyelashes had mostly stayed in. I went back for a fill and ended up with a different tech. She spent a small amount of time on the fill (20 minutes or so) and the eyelashes were not nearly as full as the first time. The third time I returned most of my eyelashes had fallen out after less than 2 weeks, even though I had done nothing different. I thought I’d try it one more time. I explained what I wanted and why. It was the same tech as the second time. She proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for a brand new set of lashes because I didn’t have “enough” lashes left. I explained why I felt that was not justified and promptly left. Tips and Toes wanted to charge me double for a fill. They lost myself as a customer and all the female friends and colleagues that I have.

Great place i have gone to many location to find a place i really like since moving here and this place is amazing!

This salon is very friendly and accommodating. Full services and they keep getting better with new additions to their service menu. The guys and gals are so friendly and kind. Love Tips N Toes!

Tips & Toes is the best salon! I have known Annie for a couple years now and always go to her when I get my lashes done. Tye does my dip and it so awesome and quick! Ive had a few different people do my pedicures and they always do a great job. If youre looking for a new nail place to try out, Tips & Toes is the place to go!! They are always so attentive and helpful with any questions you have. Not only are they a great salon, but also full of great workers and people there!

I love this salon and bonded with Dee while relaxing and getting my full set of eyelash extensions. I normally go to other places to get my lashes done but this will be my go to place from now on. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the eyelash extensions are more than $50 less than my usual spot! Thanks again

I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 10 years! Old management was the bomb and so is Tye and his wife as new management. He is so hip on what’s new in the nail world and she’s amazing at semi permanent make up and lashes. They are always so attentive, respectful, and friendly and try to get to know every single one of their customers. I couldn’t ask for anything more in a nail salon. If you haven’t yet check them out! You will not be disappointed!

I’m severely disappointed in my service today at this nail salon. I went in asking for dip to be taken off, and French tips to be applied as a regular manicure (no dip or shellac). I felt the technician rushed through my service as I barely got any massaging on my hands/arms and she clipped some of my nails uneven. The worst part was that she quickly applied one coat of a clear looking color and had me put my hands in front of a fan for “only 5 minutes.” When I was done drying I was done done. No second coat of the clear, no top coat and no white tips for a French manicure which is what I asked for. I got up to the register and was charged $26 for this sham. I’m not happy. My nails look terrible, they aren’t trimmed even, some of the previous dip is still on there and there literally no nail polish visible. I even took pictures because I can’t believe they look so bad. And to think I paid $26 for this? Horrible. I won’t be back to this nail salon.

I used to go here all the time because I loved the way they did my nails, and I was so shocked when they completely redid the whole inside and it looks so pretty. My nails have never looked this good, and the guy who was doing them was in a rush because they were very busy and trying to close. I got acrylics with shellac, and I’ve had acrylics done a lot of times so I do not say this lightly, they have a never looked this good!

This place is THE BEST. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and will be bringing my girls here for my wedding in the fall. Clean, great service, BEAUTIFUL new facilities and ALWAYS a great job. My whole family (dad and brother included) goes here and we refuse to go anywhere else!

This place Stays busy... probably because the service is good. The owner is almost always there and she has a meticulous eye for detail. I have seen her inspect the work of others before clients leave and will re-do polish if it is not perfect. Pedicures are long with a good massage. Ive also had the shellac service which Ive always been pleased with. Prices are great with many upgrade options available.

The reviews are right, it is very fast. Unfortunately, they are fast to a fault.I was asked what color I was thinking. I said dark purple. At that point, two technicians dove into samples, disregarding what I was looking at, talking to one another about which color they thought looked better. Had I been less rushed, I would have gotten a color Id love instead just feeling ok about it. Before I knew it, my tech was buffing my nails. She didnt soak my cuticles and trim them. After a quick buff she started the dip process right away.When I asked for a cuticle trim, she did it dry in between dips.Im not an expert but her order of operations seemed odd. She filed my nails into a uniform length after a couple dip layers. She skipped a nail a couple times until I pointed it out.I came away feeling rushed and not at all pampered. It felt like a quote being met was the priority not my satisfaction.Ill probably go back to my regular spot even though it is across town.

When it was Tips and Toes, I had nothing but wonderful experiences. I went to Tyes today to get manicures for my daughter and I. I had horrible customer service from the moment we walked into the place. I was told to sit and ordered around. I could NOT understand anything they were saying. I also waited 20-30 minutes to even get seated. At that point, I told them I wanted to pay for my daughters nails and that we were leaving (to which they still couldnt understand). We will NOT be going back there. If I could give a zero star review, I would.

I’m a regular customer and got a pedicure like I always do after getting my nails. After my toes was painted I asked her if I could leave with the flip flops because I didn’t think they were dry. She told me no and that my toes were dry while she put my shoes on. Needless to say when I made it home all my toenails were smudged. Over the phone I was told the I could come back and get gel polish for the inconvenience. Once I made it back I was told no and had to sit an additional 15 minuets for them to dry again. The fact that I am or should I say WAS (I will not be returning) a regular customer they should have given me gel polish. I loved this nail shop until today.

I scheduled an appointment for lash extensions almost two whole months in advance for my honeymoon. I messaged them on Facebook the day before my appointment to confirm and they assured me they had me all set for 5:15 the next day. I go in for my appointment and they tell me the person who does lashes is out of town and won’t be back for a couple weeks. I showed them the message from the day before where it was CONFIRMED but they said there was nothing they could do. They offered to give me a discount next time I come in but I assured them there wouldn’t be a next time. Incredibly unprofessional and unorganized.

I’ve been to many nail salons, but this place is great and does an amazing job. They take their time and make sure their customers are satisfied. They offer many different services from nails to lashes and is currently renovating next door for hair services! The staff are all very friendly, helpful and always have a welcoming smile. If you’re into designs Tye’s your guy from ombré, glitter or gems he does them all. All prices are very reasonable for the service on time they spend on you. I always get the dip and pedicure and never feel that I’m rush no matter how many customers are there. Check it out I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Went in for a full set and pedicure... acrylic was thick and did not cover my entire nail and after the clear coat was put on top of it I noticed cracks and scratches when I got home. As for the pedicure, overall it was alright but what I did not like was that the polish was messy and on my skin, as well as the clear coat that was on top of the polish. Honestly Ive been to better places but I was in a pinch for time and this was right down the street from my apartment. I think Ill continue going to Bebe Nails in Altoona!

A Mans Experience. Very good service. I did not have an appointment prior to showing up at 1:30 p.m. on a saturday. I got right in as they have lots of chairs. I a got a pedicure, and a manicure. Both the pedi and mani were very relaxing. I feel better and my rough hands and feet look excellent. I feel like a handsome refreshed man. Basic package for pedi mani is aroubt $75.
