This place the owner is super unprofessional… I saw a review from a girls Facebook page and the manager had responded to her and she was very civil about a situation that had taken place. She posted a screenshot of what he had said on multiple pages I definitely won’t be bringing my daughter here… how sad! Kim’s nails in Dakota city I would always recommend! Keep your customs happy first!😊

I have been going to this location for a few years. Kim does a great job with scheduling so she is ready for you the minute you walk in.

Kim always does such a wonderful job on my nails. She takes her time and theyre always perfect. An excellent color selection too.I also love her salon because its so quiet. I feel relaxed and never rushed like I do in so many other shops across the city.Sanitary, professional, fairly priced.I cannot recommend J&J Nails enough.

Favorite place to get my nails done when I’m back in Des Moines. Best foot & leg massages, too. My paint here lasts SO LONG, I highly recommend this salon!

Very kind and sweet I went with my great grandmother who has never had her nails done and they could not have been nicer 10/10 and they were so sweet they gave her a free design I definitely will go back again.

Kim and her employees are outstanding! Its not fancy, but they do great work and are very reasonable. We have been going there for over ten years every 5 to 6 weeks!

Never been here before but they were super nice, great price for a pedicure and she did a great job! Hadnt had one in a while, the last few places I went were either super rough or poorly done, but not here! Thanks for a relaxing Tuesday afternoon and my firework toes! The details in the design were simple and elegant, not obnoxious and bright. Loved it! If Id had more time I would have gotten a manicure too she did such a great job.

EDIT: STILL NO REFUND SHE CALLED AND PROMISED ME FOR HORRIBLE SERVICE. If youre going to try to bully me into changing my review and then promise a refund, at least follow through on the refund. I wouldnt change my review and I wouldnt come back here if they paid me. Also, one star since they rounded off my toenails and now theyre incredibly painful. Trash salon, go literally anywhere else!2 stars because my pedi looks good. I asked for short, stiletto shaped nails. . . After telling me the shape of the reference I provided was so ugly, the nail tech proceeded to give me uneven, blunt oval nails. They look awful but they were filed too short to fix. So disappointing!!
