If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve been living here since 2018. My experience has been horrible since signing my lease. We have had issues on top of issues since moving in. Roaches, gnats, black mold, water leaks, as well as electric problems. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything. The women at the rent office have awful customer service. We’ve asked over and over to just be moved to another unit but haven’t had any luck with that, instead maintenance will come out only to “look at” and do a half a** job on fixing whatever issue we’re having or not even come back to fix it at all. Currently, our A/C needs fixing and is causing a leak in our dining area, which has now leaked into the carpet and inside the wall. The wall is beginning to mold and the carpet is now a breeding ground for the gnats that we haven’t been able to get rid of since the beginning of spring. Also, we have mold growing in our Master Bedroom. Whenever it rains, water leaks through the wall and under the carpet. Both the wall and the carpet has mold which maintenance refuse to fix. All they keep telling us is it’s a problem they would have to fix from outside of our unit. You can even see the mold growing on the outside of the building. Would not recommend living here. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere. The security gate is ALWAYS broken. Definitely not worth what they are charging for rent.

Paid the 250 dollar application fee after I was told to apply asap to get the soonest unit available. Was informed by a Ms.Gibson and given her card. Applied and submitted my documents to her email address that day. Was emailed automatically about 2 days later saying my application is approved but with conditions.I call about a week later to see what that means. No answer. Called 4 more times. No answer. Left voicemail. Nobody has YET to contact me at all.2 days later I go up to the office after work and sit outside in hot sun for about 8 minutes waiting at the door. I call as well. No answer. I get into my car and begin to call and wait for about 30 mins (maybe they are on a lunch) and still no contact.A month later I decide to email her just to make sure and now the email on her card no longer exists. I call many more. Times the next day... No answer. All. I want is communication. Its very disappointing to pay someone to apply but cannot get anybody on a phone or email or telegraphAs I type this I have not been contacted at all but my credit has been ran and the application fee probably spent by now 😂BBB?

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I applied for an apartment in the beginning of April it is now approaching the end of July and I still have not received my admin fee. Ive reached out to corporate and left multiple messages and still nothing. They advised it takes 45 days to receive your admin fee back it has been OVER 90 DAYS and I have not received anything. I received a text message a month ago from a leasing agent asking for a forwarding address and still nothing. This is absolutely ridiculous. I want my money. ASAP.

I stay in those apartments ever since 2017 and I can tell you that the customer service was friendly and the apartments were nice but the apartment I was living in was a pest problem for me. This means a lot of pests invade my apartments like ants, cockroaches, baby files and flies, spiders, and so many infection creatures and not just only those. The front desk knows that but I can realize that they cant do anything about pest controls. I needed to stay there until I find myself home, I didnt have much choice so I just lived with the pests that keep coming into my apartment. Now, I eventually found myself a forever home for me and I am glad that I wouldnt be living in Morella Park anymore cause now I have a home for myself. I also completely didnt miss the apartments that I was living in too...

Quiet. Love the location.This is my second review of park at morella and Im not disappointed. The units are still nice.Every person Ive made contact with has been great! Special recognition to Terrence and Darius from maintenance.The office people are sweethearts. They take their time and handle situations to best of their ability. Kudos the Kierone and Takia the property managers. ❤ They make things easier!

She is very articulate, pays attention to detail and always has a smile on her face (with an eye catching red lip stick.)We applied for an apartment in May and moved in our apartment in July. There was never any question or doubts regarding our decision to live at these apartments due to her amazing followup and strong people skills. Moved in end Jan now its Mar 2021 so far so good. I had issue wit one of my outlet in living room. Maintenance came by in less than 3 days fixed it. The girls in lease office and nice answer any question i have. When it comes to calling office best time in 8 30 am when it opens if u have any questions about apts here. Its quiet in my building nice to me. So all bad reviews dont believe you have see for yourself. Valet trash nice 25 on top of your rent . Over all i give 4 stars 😆

Well you guys this process was so long and quick for me but with the help of The Park of Morella especially Ms. Janee Gaines one the most helpful, committed, kind leasing consultants I ever dealt with. So it was literally one day I was on a apartment hunt and I saw these apartments was like wouldn’t hurt to just drive in and see, So I did, first person I came upon was Ms. Gaines and she help me with information and guided me from there virtually. Literally 1 week in I got a tour to view the property and I actually really loved what I saw for the rest and area . She literally took us step by step and showed us every part of the community. So furthermore, we kept in contact and exchanged through email until she called me literally a month later updating me that they have a 1 bedroom available for me and before this point I was nervous and not knowing what I would do being that this was a stressful process. It was the best news to hear being that I was in a stressful situation at the time. So came June 28, 2021 she called letting me know I have one available and just for you, what you say ! And I took it and Finally had an apartment that I just think will be best fit for me. Janee was so on top of things & kept me focused & help me with everything from paperwork, things I need before signing lease, tours & all. She wasn’t just doing her job she was being very personable & her communication after setting a deposit on the place was even more amazing . I can really say starting off with these apartments I can’t say anything bad or off. She’s really helped & guided me & had patience’s the whole time & with a job like this you have to have that and she is beyond great and I would recommend her over and over and over . If you understand apartment hunting isn’t easy and she was there for me and I appreciate her hard work and determination for me ! My daughter has been living bin this apartment for three years. The mold has continued to return. They come out and spray a solution in her bedroom closet it returns in a matter of weeks. She has been working from home in her home in her room just breathing in all that toxic mold. She is the hospital shortly after it was discovered again. They claim that have no available apartments for her to transfer to, but yet their still moving in folks. Had a couple to her door to set up a Organize tenant association don’t know what to that, but it’s sad that the rent continue to rise and the mold in these apartments still is a problem. It’s hard to breathe with this mold problem. I can’t believe the assistant manager does not have the information to the corporate office. The only answer that I got from her was that to give them my 60 days to move, wow!!!

Stay away from this place! Management is rude! As a tenant I lived over here for at least a year and the maintenance guys are very professional and friendly towards all the tenants that I spoke to. The manager (black man with a black pick up truck) is very disrespectful, rude and unprofessional towards the staff. On my walk with my lady this morning I ran into the maintenance man while he was doing his picking up trash outside in the area. I started asking him a few questions regarding maintenance issues and the apartment complex in general. In the midst of the conversation, the manager drove past and abruptly interrupted our conversation and said in a disrespectful manner to the maintenance guy that he needs to not burn daylight and told him to cut the conversation short. I felt offended that he would do something like that.I tried to go to the office to address the fact that the maintenance guy was helping us. As I go to the office to request to speak to him...the unprofessional ladies answer the door and said hes in a meeting right now and i can come back at the end of the day.

I was really looking forward to possibly living here, but if i would’ve paid the application fee just to find out nothing was available, I would’ve been VERY UPSET. The maintenance staff are awesome! I never have to wait more than an hour after I submit a work order. Take today for instance, my air conditioning went out and Darius, a maintenance staff member, came right over, communicated the problem and promptly remedied the situation.

This is the best place to live. Its quiet and clean and the office staff is always friendly. I have never had any problems with getting things fixed and the gym is great because I like to work and I can bring my 3 year old daughter with me because there is a kids area for her to play in plus I save money on a gym membership. Its definitely worth the price.

I moved out here about two months ago. The staff here is so helpful, they made the moving process extremely easy.The people in the front office really worked with me every step of the way in making sure that the moving in process was effortless as possible. They really went above and beyond to make sure that, with in a month, all paperwork was taken care of with no hiccup. The maintenance staff here is good as well, I had a few things that needed work on, they legit took care of all the problems within a day. Not only did everything get fixed, it was fixed before I can even complain about it. Overall a good place, good community, and good staff.

I have been living here for almost 2 years. I was extremely skeptical about moving here at first giving previous reviews. I did notice at the time they were under new management. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at home. The maintenance has truly stepped their game up. They try extremely hard to keep the grounds cleaned. We have a little issue with other people in the area dropping trash off. The staff is overall nice and always readily accessible in any event to help.

Maintenance is excellent when it comes to repairs and Im grayeful to live in this community.I love it so much, that Im moving into a larger unit to welcome my grandkids home. Ive been staying in these apartments since July and I have never had a problem with no one in the leasing office but they maintenance is a joke. I have 3 complaints about my refrigerator been messed up and all they keep saying they did...I have been at home all day for the last few days I aint seen not one person from maintenance come into my home. This refrigerator is loud and the door want shut if my food goes out someone gone reimburse me for it. All them men do is riding around playing and talking to these females out here...do some work or hire somebody that does. Paying over 1000 for what

My older sister lived in these apartments and had no issue! Only with her roomie 😑 but anyways, that was years ago and I still got great awesome customer service from Dale when I visited last week! She was so sweet and informative. I was already in love with the floor plan and was sold l, but the atmosphere in that office got me PRAYING this community approves me! I saw kids out being kids having fun, the neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful with the trees! And OMG THE RENOVATIONS ARE AMAZING!!! They look so good and I’m even more stoked they kept the screened in porches. I will be doing my application soon! Visited today and property was clean and beautiful. I Love the screened in porches. My favorite! Office staff was nice, but hands down, the young lady that helped me (Eyana) was the absolute Best! Very patient and informative. And trust me, I can be a pain when spending my money. Today is Saturday Dec 29th, 2018I’ve been staying here all of two months and I wouldn’t advice anyone who has living standards; not move here. Where to start, First when I moved in I was told water and sewage is included in your rent so you pay the rental office a 25$ “Water connection fee” And Dec rolls around and I get a 65$ bill in the mail from a company named Apex ( who was never mentioned to me). Secondly I did my walk through and a section of my patio ceiling was literally falling in, Maintenance never came to fix it. There was mold in my windows, patio and underneath my carpet so bad mushrooms started growing through my carpet. YES PEOPLE MUSHROOMS that you find outside are currently growing up from my floor.( Now I have small children that could’ve or may have found and eaten those mushrooms) Called maintenance they said “they’d come out and treat the mold and call a third party company to come out and handle it and my patio ceiling. Well the third party company was this lovely little Asian couple (the same couple that comes and paints your free accent wall when you first move in) they didn’t treat anything, they painted over the mold and masked up the ceiling.Then today I come home and the water heater which sits up near the roof burst and water is leaking like a river down to every apartment, maintenance says “ We can’t do anything about it until Monday “ but NEVER TURNS THE WATER OFF so it’s dloofi the breezeways and coming into peoples apartments to the point a resident that works at a water company goes and turns the water off for our building (17 by the way). Maintenance turns calls back 4hrs later after I called the emergency line to say they’ll come check it out. Meanwhile 2 of my kids falls down the stairs to get to our apartment because it’s so much water everywhere.After all that I decided to break my lease and move 30 days after moving in for several reasons. My bathrooms have a sewage smell to them that the front office and maintenance ignored when I asked them to come check it out, my bathroom tub has a leak that’s coming through the wall to my carpet so one half of my carpet stays soaked. And when you call the rental office they have a very Nonchalant careless attitude. So save your 950$ and get a house cause you pay all utilities to live here (water,has a d electricity) it’s not worth the money. If this isn’t enough I have several pictures and videos to back up all that was stated.

MOLD! MOLD! MOLD! Did I say MOLD?? I have had no reason to open my windows since moving in back in November. When I lifted the blinds today there was mold EVERYWHERE! I live on the bottom floor and have alwayts noticed a musty odor ever since I moved in the apartment. If only I had lifted the blinds. And lets not begin to talk about the security gate. Currently the resident side is not working and one side of the exit gate is literally off the hinges and laying on its side. This is ridiculous. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I’ve been living here for a while and I hate to see all these negative reviews...since park at Morella has been under new management, it’s been a completely different experience. The office staff is wonderful. And maintenance knows how to get the job done. You don’t have to keep going to the office to put in work requests. They come out the first time you ask and don’t do half a** jobs like many other apartments. Close to the airport and Walmart. No crime. And pleasant neighbors. What more could you ask for!?

Rent due by the 5th but they will still charge late fees if you come on the 5th after 5:30. If thats the case update the tenants lease and stop picking and choosing which tenants are charged late fees. Or better yet, have a drop-off box for tenants who ACTUALLY work til 6pm. Straight ghetto! Cant even keep entry gates fixed. I will NEVER recommend this place and will be happy when my loved ones lease is up!

Moved in a month ago and can definitely say it was a smooth and pleasurable experience... application and leasing process was great. Shakeriya was so energetic, down to earth and helpful! There were a few loose ends to tie up on the apartment when I moved in, but maintenance got everything handled in a timely manner. Stacey, Demitri, Chris and the rest of the maintenance team (I forgot one guy that helped me name) have been WONDERFUL! They take their jobs seriously and go above and beyond to get things done. Never just writing your issues off as if you don’t matter! I am super impressed! Thanks Park at Morella team!

Bad experience living here! The complex has standards they want their residents to live by and they don’t keep up with their standards. Examples: This is supposed to be a gated community but the gate never works. The water hose where you are supposed to wash your car has been torn for over 8 months with no desire to replace the water hose. There are only 2 trash cans throughout the whole apartment complex and they are always over filled and you are forced to just set your trash on the ground. They also are not walking distance so you have to put your trash inside of your car. The pool is supposed to be open after the office closes and they will not give you a passcode to the gate to the swimming pool area because they want you to enter through front door. Which means no pool after they close the office door unless someone already inside lets you in.You will get what you pay for living here! Not a place you can call home.

So every floor plan splits the water bill and every month its over 70 $ .... secondly they make u pay $25 for people to come and pick your trash up but here is the thing .... they dont come fri or sat and holidays oh also the day after the holiday and its one bag per trashcan .... they give u one trash can ..... this seems like something is going on to actually pay employees ... DONT MOVE HERE .People on steps sitting starring its creepy and my lease is almost up .... IM GONEAND DEFINITELY DONT BELIEVE THE FAKE GOOD REVIEWS, DONT NEED A REPLY FROM THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE JUST REPLY TO PEOPLE NEEDING REPAIRS ... THANKS

I regret moving here. The apartment has mold and the sinks are always leaking. Its always something wrong with this damn apartment. Getting maintenance to fix anything in a timely manner never happens. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The management and maintenance makes this a crappy place to live. Im counting down the days until my lease is over....If 0 stars was a option thats what I would give. Feel lucky to get 1 star ;-)

The apartments have lots of Space the neighbors are quiet.......But the management team they are under new management and they got rid of the wrong person (Tara) she was the best person there other lady(Attitude) they are sooo slow on fixing things I have to call a couple times before someone comes out. every other month its a new maintenance person but still slow. had to get an outside person to fix my air because it took them to long to come and when they did they did nothing. major things done I called an outside team

LMAO, these reviews are so dramatic.there is no mold unless they are the ones who created it. The water is not brown, the gate does not work but they have security cameras and union city is always there if you ever need them. Its a nice neighborhood, all the ghetto folks are getting kicked out!! maintenance does suck i will say that, but honestly i love it here. the office people are super nice and helpful, the apartments need a little upgrade but honestly its so roomy on the inside that you actually forget about it. dont let other people turn you away from your next home!

To sum it all up, looks are not everything. There mission to be second to none, yeah okay. Compressor was stolen from the building (while security was on duty), resulting in no use of A/C. All I can get from the leasing office is theyre corporate office has not approved the purchase. I have decided to walk away from this lease. You cant ask them for any numbers there response will be google it, instead of them doing the research. You dont have a number to your corporate office. Very unprofessional, lets not forget tenants help pay your salary and its an option to move to your property. If you move here I promise you will regret it. Approaching two months of 80 degree temps inside the apartment unit, with no resolution.

I would not recommend these apartments to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Moving here was one of the biggest mistakes ever!! Its a shame that its more peaceful outside than it is in my own apartment. Majority of the people living here are very uncivilized, getting management to do anything for you is like pulling teeth, and lets not start on the trash around the neighborhood. If you enjoy living in an urban area full of rowdy kids, pot smoking teenagers and childish adults by all means this place is for you.. Just an honest review.

Everything was fine at first but Ive had to go correct billing issues more times in the few months Ive been there than I actually have in my apartment! Their maintenance is useless (with the exception of maybe 2), the dumpsters are always disgustingly full, and their online payment system is pointless. You mind as well buy a house where you can fix things the right way the first time, actually get your trash picked up, and pay your rent online like a regular person living on 2016! I urge any and all potential residents to run now before you sign your lease or be stuck in a year long headache.

Well I actually like it, this is my first apartment after my first lease was up i renewed it. been living here for 2 years ! i must admitt i have seen some crazy looking bugs in my apartment 👀 guessing its because of the location but if you take the proper precautions you can actually eliminate almost the whole problem! the maintenance men do suck ive seen new faces frequently guess they are still looking for decent ones the price is pretty high i went from 545 to 575 to 615 but i mean hey i got a roof over my head and food on my table

I am a current tenant, this has been the worst 4 months of my life. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! My heat has not worked all winter, luckily this winter has been mild. However we have had some freezing days and nights. My home is being warmed by my oven, which is a fire hazard. Secondly my Master bathroom toilet does not flush unless you pour water to fill and then flush. Thirdly the fuse in the Second bedroom/bathroom is blown so that side of the house is completely dark. That toilet constantly runs all night, unless you physically turn the water off. Only two isles on the stove work. Lights flicker on and off. Wall sockets dont work. Oh and last but not least my car has been vandalized (all tires and rims stolen) completely on bricks. Less than 24 hours after reported incident, PM calls and ask me when will the vehicle be repaired and or removed. My response; Bih please! This happened on your property while security was on duty mind you. Which was an $800 expense on me. My ins. co was working on getting this repaired but dont rush me. The will tell you anything at the office to shut you up. You hear constant GUNSHOTS. I happily and gracefully put my 60 day notice to move in. F*** a lease Ill buy that out before I live in these overpriced PROJECTS!!! Kiss my ass The Park of Morella or should I say Union City PROJECTS. SLUM LORD SLUM LORD SLUM LORD

My 7 year old son and I went on a tour at this property, I was greeted by a young lady named Shakeriyah, who in my opinion looked more like she was going to the dance club very unprofessional. She had a tiny skirt so short, 7 inch heels and a V neck shirt showing way to much which looked very unprofessional . My son kept saying he could see the young ladies under garments through her thin skirt. Aside from all that she kept fraternizing with every male worker passing through the office . At one point another young lady named had to get her to focus. Sad the property has potential but the are attracting the wrong kind of people . I will have to pass but hopefully the people that just bought the property will change things .
