Set an appointment drove all the way from New Orleans only to get here and nobody’s in the office or answering the phone ridiculous

I just wanted to share my experience. I came in for a tour and met with a lady named Jennifer. Jennifer was very friendly and welcoming. I honestly would of leased just based on the treatment and the feeling of a sense of home the minute I walked in the door. She knew the complex well and took me on a tour. It is a gorgeous property. The apartment she showed me was perfect for my daughter and myself. Unfortunately, we could not rent there because I did not get the job I was hoping for in the future but I definitely would based on everything that I saw.

MMG Management LLC, received $1,288,700.00 in April 2020. This company has taken money from the SBA and is still pursuing money from resident’s that had to come out of work due to the COVID Virus. They are refusing to fix any work orders for those that are behind in rent technically due to the pandemic. They are forcing people out before the Moratorium sent out by the CDC to extend evictions until June 30,2021. The Hidden Lakes Apartment Establishment located at 4050 Morgan Road in Union City, Georgia 30291. Headquarters are located at 7742 Spalding Drive #133 Norcross, Georgia 30092. This doesn’t sound like it’s the proper way. On top of they are giving residents remaining in the rear rental bills. The SBA covered bank rental bills. I will be moving forward with the News Reporters. Unlawful Business.

I really love Hidden Lake and I love my apartment! Jennifer in the office helped me when I first moved in, she is the best! The office and maintenance have been really nice too! Great place to love I would recommend to anyone looking for a new apartment!!

Hidden Lakes is a beautiful well maintained property. The office staff (Jennifer) and maintenance staff (Torrance) are great. repairs were made quickly office staff responds quickly to concerns.

I live here now for 7months first 4 months my stove and AC until was broke still payed my rent on time took forever for them to fix and there quick to send out a letter if your late on rent after I called an told them I was Quarantine an Was paying two days late. Just inconsiderate evil an unprofessional.

The staff is friendly and helpful to all the issues that I have reported. This is a great community to live.

Dont move in this place I live here they dont fix anything. Jeniffer the manager is very nasty stay away from this place. Has very old appliances. They are no go.

Great apartment! Comfortable and no disturbances. My husband and I stay for almost four years and we didn’t have many complaints. Those issues that we did have were handled promptly! The only quarrel I have is that the windows don’t open.Shone is a gem and deserves a raise! Thank you Shone for your excellence as property manager.

I live here now..and i loved my apartment when i first moved in but then i found out that the dishwasher didnt work and it had old water sitting in it which is causing a horrible smell and knats..i called the rent office about it and they say that theyre going to get someone to come and look at it and no one showed up..now my refrigerator isnt working properly and Ive had to throw out lots of food because its gone bad due to the fridge cutting on and off i told the rent office and maintenance over a month ago about it and nothing has happened and literally called them yesterday about these issues again the lady Iesha said that she would get them over here and no one came..My kitchen light stopped working and i had to fix that myself..ants and bugs come through the windows because the windows dont close all the way and were all allergic to insect bites..Im paying too much for rent to be living in a apartment thats falling apart and infested..its really not fair..

Hidden Lakes wanted to increase my rent by at least $100/month if I renewed. They charged a fee to move to another (smaller) unit within the complex so I moved to Harbour Club

Especially during a chaos such as the national one we are going through currently you need someone nice, friendly and most of all professional and I had all three with Aisha she was fast communicative and just made sure my move was smooth. I am beyond happy my family loves it here!!!!

Run dont walk away from these shady crooks. My aunt moved out last month on the 4 and they made her pay for the entire month. They told her that they dont do prorated rent or partial payments. If you move out on the 4th you only pay for 4 days not the entire month. I will becontacting the BBB and filing a complaint with Fair Housing.

Worst place to stay......... My car has been broken into numerous times and I went inside the rental office. The two ladies that sit up front are so helpful a professional.HOWEVER THAT OFFICE MANAGER CYNTHIA NEED A ATTITUDE AJUSTMENT!!!. I understand things happen but as a property manager, I expect you to be sympathetic to your tenants, she is so nonchalant for me especially when paying this HIGH rent and there is mold and no updates in over 20 years. They need to start over, PLEASE MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Hidden Lake a great place to live, but too many stray dogs run loose. Now we have two pit bulls roaming the complex and nothing has been done.

The worste place to live ever there is no safety constant maintenance issues rent is too much for all the problems that come with the apartment. Run for the hills hidden lake apts are horrible and corporate is racist that dont care about your issues this complex should be shut down

I would give them a 0 if I could! I havent thought about even leaving a review until now, as Im cleaning out my computer and came across the old photos we took. I moved out in 2013 and NEVER looked back. There were mold issues, maintenance issues, and as you can see waste and plumbing issues! I had waste spewing into my apartment the entire time I was a resident and most likely before based on the smell that was present when I moved in. I thought the smell came from the apartment being closed up and old for awhile, but once we discovered that every time the neighbors plumbing backed up, it over flowed in our water heater closet and was continuously reabsorbed into the carpet and sub-flooring outside of the closet...the exposed PVC pipe on the wall allowed all types of foul smelling waste, yep feces and other unidentified waste into the home... Corporate had to send someone out as I couldnt make headway with the idiots in the front office...They were even worse! He swore me up and down there was no way that could be human feces, to which I had to assure him in my line of work as a RN with 2 degrees, I know the difference between trash and sh**! And that was definitely sh**! Management nor corporate was willing to do much. All I asked was to be let out of my lease without penalty. They refused. They only replaced some of the carpet and cleaned the rest..at that point I broke the lease myself and only agreed to pay one months rent to keep there from being an eviction on my credit...I only stayed a total of 3 months (too long), the end!! In hindsight, I should have taken that much further than I did, but I was so tired of fighting with corporate, the front office, on top of work, school, and other responsibilities. As a result, my partner was diagnosed with cough-variant asthma from the chronic exposure to the mold in the master bedroom and increased humidity in the unit. I would not suggest this property to anyone as their Corporate and Management teams are horrible examples of business professionals. I will say the only positive experience I had was the woman in corporate who took my payments for what I owed. She was very pleasant and respectful!

DO NOT rent from this place! They will not give their tenants a rental history verification form. So that means when you try to leave them they will not give your new place your history. They try to hold you hostage in order to keep you and charge you more for rent. They dont even care that you are try to move because you were robbed at gun point because they refused to fix a light in the outside community hallway. All they do is blame you for being robbed. The worst customer service ever. The corporate office hung up in my face. No help stay away!!!!!

This place has the potential to be nice.....if another more reputable company runs it. They are a small time operation you can tell by the customer service. Do yourself a HUGE favor, go to Cambridge Faire in Fairburn. Great customer service and just 100 bucks more per month.I wish these executives had to live on the properties that they push. They are very lackadaisical when it comes to tenant issues. Nothing is serious to them at all except receiving your money.You get nothing in return for the money that you pay out. No good customer service, the office staff lies profusely, and nothing is ever properly repaired or done in a timely fashion.All of these things will continue to reflect negatively on this companyThankfully, I am buying a house soon and wont need to deal with them any further.

These apts are no good the leasing manager (Cynthia) her attitude is VERY nasty, she has no reguards for the tenants that lives here. I have to call 2 or 3 times to get maintenance to make repairs I moved in Jan and I have been calling about repairs SINCE THEN....it was literally raining in the master bedroom from the window where I sleep which has caused MOLD AND MILDEW on my bedroom suite, I have been coughing sneezing and wheezing Due to the mold lingering in this room now the AC just got repaired almost a month ago and that’s because I had to call cooperate to get it fixed PLEASE DONT MOVE OUT HERE!!! These apts are old as hell needs remodeling SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND SUM BETTER PLUS THE RENT FLUCTUATES Nope! EVERYBODY HAS A PROBLEM OUT HERE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LOOK ELSE WHERE....

THEY ARE GOING TO SHOW YOU THIS NICE APARTMENT TO GET YOU TO MOVE IN! Washing machines in the laundry mat dont work! except for maybe three..same thing with the dryers...ALL THE MACHINES IN THE GYM ARE BROKE EXCEPT TREAD MILL...THE POOL IS ALMOST ALWAYS DIRTY...IT HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS AND ITS A HEAT WAVE OUTSIDE 95 DEGREES NO PLACE FOR MY CHILDREN TO COOL OFF IN THIS HEAT!!! I AM A RESIDENT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO UTILIZE THESE FAKE AMENITIES YOU SAY U HAVE!! ...NO WAY U SAY U GOT TWO POOLS AND A GYM LMAOOO Whoever says this place is a nice place to live must know the people that work there or work for hidden lake because they are lying....first I want to say Miranda is amazing....but she is fighting against the real property owners that are not willing to pay for anything or listen to some of her ideas that could make the place better...it all balls down to the people who are really running the show and they dont care and will not pay for it! ALL THEY WANT IS TO COLLECT RENT THEY COULD GIVE A DAM ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE! Friendly staff and quiet setting. Units are well seasoned but staff strive for an awesome experience at affordable prices.

Leaky ceilings, ants everywhere. Old dated appliances. Great space and layout, but those things are overshadowed by the issues.

The complex is okay. Old appliances and you can tell the units havent been remodeled. Of course the model always looks better than the unit you would move in. I rented here for 1 year. There was one incident of death while I was there and new years eve was nothing but gun shots. It was a little intimidating. Lots of kids in the neighborhood. The pool was closed practically the whole summer. In unit laundry so we didnt have to use the laundromat. Maintenance was quick and friendly. The office staff was cool. Forgot there names but they did theyre job well. Reecie (sp) is awesome. She has a great attitude. The units are overpriced for the area. I was paying roughly $950 a month bc water is included and it was roughly 80-85 a month. All of my neighbors were cool. Its a good place to start your rental history. Just make sure you pay the rent on time bc they will evict.

RUNNNNNNN STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I didn’t listen to the other reviews & decided to give this place a chance !!! WELL LETS JUST SAY MY RENT GETS HIGHER EVERY MONTH FOR THIS DUMP I HAVE NEVER PAID WHAT I SIGNED FOR!! They always add different fees into your rent & don’t warn you! I can’t put the ceiling fan on high in my master bedroom it shakes & makes lots of noise,My toilet runs 24/7,I moved in with stands on the carpet,paint on the kitchen floor,refrigerator always leaking,the water in my other bathroom takes a full day & a half to go out the tub drain,the power is always going out,laundry facility IS NEVER AVAILABLE SOMETHING IS ALWAYS WRONG,GYM IS NEVER OPEN & THE POOL JUST OPENED AT THE END OF THE SUMMER!! NO WHERE FOR KIDS TO PLAY!! It’s really embarrassing when coming into the neighborhood DUMPSTER IS ALWAYS FULL & RUNNING OVER TRASH IS ALL OVER THE GROUND! My closet light doesn’t work ants are freaking crazy (BUT THEY HAD SOMEONE COME OUT TO SPRAY ) smdh thugs hang out in the parking lot & smoke weed with loud music playing I’ve videotaped someone around 3am pulling on car door handles!! I’ve found a razor in my carpet smh ! Everything I’ve touched has broken pulled the blinds up the entire thing fell down I notice after examining all the blinds they all are broken so it’s like soon as u touch them they’ll break,was putting towels up the entire shelf fell on me,I grabbed the knob to open the wash room door it came off sinks in bathrooms are completely dirty STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I CAN KEEP GOING BUT ITS JUST HORRIBLE ALL I CAN SAY IS RUNNNNNNNNNNNN FAR AWAY

Yeah two bedrooms is very nice but they didnt have a one bedroom showroom I wanted to see one because thats what I wanted.

Terrible office staff. We made an appointment to view a 1BR unit about a week ago, only to get there and be told it had been rented per first come first serve, no other 1BR was available at the moment, and that the woman I spoke to and made the appointment with was on vacation. Now why would she schedule us an appointment a week later if it was first come first serve? Why didnt she bother to inform us she wouldnt be there at our scheduled appointment, or inform the other women there that we actually had an appointment and/or give us a closer appointment? There was no courtesy call to let us know that the unit was no longer available, and they didnt seem to care that they had seriously erred. It was like, Oh well, heres a brochure for our 2-3 bedrooms, blah blah. Their lack of communication and business sense wasted our time and money in getting there. Not to mention the big yellow sign in the front of the property prompting for information leading to some arrest, or the shabby looking fitness center/laundry room, or the dirty pool, or the current tenant complaining in the office. All being said, I wouldnt bother with this place unless it was a last, last, last, lasssst resort.

AS A POTENTIAL RESIDENT, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED AT THIS LOCATION IS UNRULY!!!!!!!!DO NOT APPLY HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!!!THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO REFUND IT BACK EVEN IF IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE IN THE FIRST PLACE.MY FIANCEE AND I WAS APPLYING FOR A PLACE HERE AND ADVISED THE LEASING AGENT WE NEED A PLACE BY THE FIRST OF AUGUST. SHE TOLD US PUT IN AN APPLICATION, ITS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED AND WE ARE THE FIRST ONES ON THE LIST. WE ADVISED HER IF THEY WILL NOT HAVE AN APARTMENT AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST OF AUGUST THERE IS NO NEED TO PUT IN AN APPLICATION AND PAY THE APPLICATION FEE......WELL THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!!! THE LEASING AGENT CALLED US BACK AND TOLD US HEY YOU ARE APPROVED FOR THE APARTMENT BUT HOW EVER SOMEONE ELSE CAME IN AND PUT THEIR APPLICATION IN AND AN DEPOSIT AND THE UNIT YOU WANT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, AND YOUR APPLICATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE SO ENJOY YOUR DAY SO IN OTHER WORDS THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND GAVE THE APARTMENT AWAY TO SOMEONE ELSE. WHEN CONFRONTED ABOUT THE ISSUE OF LEADING ME ON. I WAS THROWN OUT OF THE OFFICE AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY APPLICATION FEE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR ERROR. PLEASE LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE. Worst experience ever! Please stay far away from this place. Rent is too expensive for what they REALLY have to offer. If you dont care about having ants, huge roaches, crappy carpet, weed smell everywhere, garbage cans overflowing, over-priced rent, and being told lies during your move-in, then this is the place for you. I have rented apartments and homes before and have never had an experience like this. I was pleased about the price online when I went apartment hunting, but to my surprise, when I came to the leasing office, you can bet the price was much more. Not only that.. I saw the fees with rent which ended up being an extra $150+. The directv bill crap is a joke. I asked if I could opt out of having any tv service. They said sure but you will still have to pay it... ??? Got the service and it hardly works. Internet is a nightmare too. Never received bills and now Im in a messy situation with directv. Pest control fees are a joke too.. lived there for 5 months and seen the pest control guy spray once, which somehow attracted more bugs. Asked to be on the pest control list several times, waited at home, no one shows. I was shown one apartment before my move and it was beautiful. I was told it still had a few repairs being done so wait a while before renting it. Fine. Move in day comes and im ready to pay! Only to be told my apartment had been rented out. What?????!!! I was then shown a unit that didnt compare to the one I had seen initially. The carpet was horrendous and dead bugs lay in a few corners. No leniency with rent, whatsoever. I have witnessed multiple evictions and Im sure the tenant only had about 20 days from the 10th until their belongings were literally tossed out. I could go on and on. I am just glad to be gone!!

I moved out to Hidden Lake in February 2016 as my first renters experience, and I HATED IT! Im excited that our lease will be up soon because my fiancé and I will be moving waaaaaaay away from here as soon as possible. At first, living at Hidden Lake was real homie. The neighborhood seemed real quiet and everyone minded their own business, but the neighborhoods real colors started to show after the first bill statement and definitely after the shooting incident that occurred, which happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY BUILDING! MANAGEMENT, CREW AND CORPORATE DEFINITELY SUCKS. All they care about is the money. If youre late on payment, an extra $100 is added to your bill after the 5th. If you cant pay by the 10th, add another $200 and an eviction! Yet, they do nothing for their tenants. They have a serious pest problem even though you pay $8 for pest control, which only seems to come out every blue moon. PHONES ARE NEVER ANSWERED, and when they are, dont expect ANYTHING to be done unless it has to do with money. Maintenance take FOREVER to fix anything. Everyone is just VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and NO ONE has any type of CUSTOMER SERVICE. Overall, the experience was horrendous. I cant wait to move out.

I hate this complex with a passion customers service is very horrible they doesnt fix anything n if they do fix something it mess up the next day. They really doesnt care about anything with their apartment but collecting the money monthly. I got video that I will b posting on YouTube

Staff extremely rude . Mold in bathrooms . Apartments are old so you have to tip toe for downstairs to not complain . Locks are not secure .
