I got my nails done for a wedding and they were bumpy and poorly done. I did come late so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back for you to fix her work 10 days later because I was out of town. So I told her my nails were all lifting and she said they weren’t but whatever right. I got them filled and the FIRST NIGHT the gel polish I paid extra for came off and the next morning my index finger started to bubble and ripped off on both fingers it was like the polish was not cured enough by the light. Worst experience in my life!! I paid $40 for a full set, My nails were drying for over 30 minutes because my nail polish kept cracking once drying. They charged me for the matte top coat and the nail tech just kept adding more and more and more on top when she missed all my edges/corners and was trying to rush the whole time. She was getting frustrated and upset after I told her I was not going to pay for a messed up job. She kept insisting I should’ve gotten “gel” as if it were my fault her products and techniques were a failure. I insisted I didn’t like gel but she kept blaming me. I still ended up paying afterward I was over being there and had to pick my son up from school and 3 days later my pinky nail started hurting/ feeling sore, now it’s 5 days later and they look horrible, one broke off and my pinky nail is extremely hurting and painful and swollen!!!

Great experience. Did an excellent job on my wife and I pedicure. Will be back.

I have been coming here for years mainly for pedicures but also acrylics. Tina and her staff are professional, friendly and honest. I have never had a bad experience here. After reading other comments, I have to wonder what some customers are thinking! If you dont like something, you should speak up! The nail techs are not mind readers! If you do say something, they are will always gladly fix whatever you dont like. For example, I was there yesterday and a young woman complained that her polish was not dry...after the tech spent 1 hour with her and told her to let them dry under the heated lamp (which she did not do because she was in a hurry). If youre in a hurry, dont get a regular pedicure! And then theres the woman who thinks a gel manicure and spa pedicure should cost $36?! Who has ever thought this? Uh, NO ONE! Customers...how about trying to be better clients?

Well I’m visiting from out of town. I was thinking a mall location would be convenient. I was Wrong. I’ve been getting my nails done for a few decades now and this was absolutely the worst experience. The location was very dirty. Ladies were loud and obnoxious. Be careful when visiting this nail salon. One star is too much.

This nail salon surprised me. It was my first time here and they were extremely detail oriented, kind, and efficient! The quality of work was great and I love the fact they would refer to me by name. They also have an amazing selection of gel polish, the most I’ve seen at a salon! I highly recommend this place. When you go, ask for Thomas or Tina!

I have been going to Red Persimmon for the past few years for acrylic services and pedicures. Tina is very sweet and really cares about the services and experiences that are offered. I have tried going to other places for these services, but I always have a better experience here and keep coming back. They are very busy on the weekends, so you will need to be patient. They do their very best to take in walk-ins. I am always happy with my nails and get so many compliments on them. They also have beautiful gel colors to choose from. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely the WORST place to go to. The sign out front said $27, as she was doing my nails she told me $45. I just agreed. THEN she handled my nails very rough and continued to cut me with the drill. She painted my nails awfully!! She then sat me in front of a fan for 5 minutes and then sent me on my way! My nails were ruined and the paint job was terrible. I would never recommend this pace to anyone. 1 STAR IS TOO MUCH. DO NOT GO HERE.

The manager was very rude. I called on the phone to see how much powered dipped acrylic would be. They said 35. I got there and they said it would be 50. The only thing positive I have to say is, the guy working on my nails did a good job. His name was Thomas. He also helped change my mind to get a basic glitter full set. Came out good.

I will never come back here. I had a pedicure but they filled the basin with cold water and their message chair didnt work. The lady doing my pedi moved slower than a sloth. She didnt massage my feet or legs...or anything else. The whole time I was there she was just cutting and cleaning my cuticles cause my nails were already short so she didnt even have to cut them. I think they realized how slow she was that another girl had to step in and paint my nails. Never again!!!! 🤦‍♀️🤬🤬🤬

I visited this store before my vacation on last Tuesday evening. I had a HORRIBLE experience! I asked for the #5 special - a basic manicure and spa pedicure but with gel polish for my nails. The pedicure was subpar - with too lite of a foot scrub. My manicure felt rushed - the hot towel portion was literally 5 seconds an arm. Oil still remained on my hands - I had to ask for a paper towel to remove it myself. The polish was also not very neatly done. However, my biggest issue was when I went to pay. I was asked to pay $50 - $14 more than the $36 special I asked for. I expected it to be a bit more for gel, but not $14 more. I did not have acrylics and have very short nails. I asked the nail tech about the price, and she pointed to a different package that included a hot stone massage with the pedicure. I told her I never received a hot stone massage, yet she demanded that I pay $50 anyway. She was rude and unyielding on the price even when the nail tech who completed my pedicure confirmed I had not been provided hot stones. I have no issue paying for services provided - sometimes even when they are bad, but to yell at a customer to pay for services they never received is beyond rude and unprofessional - especially as the manager of a business. After arguing for a few minutes, another nail tech finally agreed to $45 and I paid and left - with no tip of course. Less than a week later and my toe polish is chipping and my gel nails are peeling. I think the polish is watered down. I’ve never had my nails so poorly done and paid so much. Don’t go here!!! Even if it is open late and in the mall!! Not worth it!!!

They were quick and attentive. Open on July 4. I had a fill and pedicure, Massage chair was broken and barely working. I would rate the pedicure a 4 out of 10. Nail service was nice and a life saver to be open on July 4. They got me in about 45 minutes before closing. For which i am extremely grateful.

Although I was happy they helped me so close to closing time (30 minutes), now I wish I’d have waited... $70 for one of my nails to chip THAT NIGHT, here I am just a couple days later and the entire layer of gel completely peeled off a different nail..not to mention it wasn’t the best job I’ve had (I had paint on more than one finger, like around my nail-which I didn’t feel comfortable complaining about since she stayed to help me). Very disappointed ☹️

I got a short basic French tip. She asked If I wanted gel which I usually never say yes, but the time before I had went to a different nail salon and they did gel for me for only 40$ including tip and I loved them. This place charged me 48$ for a short French tip with gel and they didn’t even look good. That was with no tip added so I decided not to tip. I just payed and left because I was not in the mood to argue I had the biggest headache. The next day all HONESTY I looked at my nails and they were already chipped. How if I got gel and didn’t do anything to chip them. Idk. Just careful with that whole gel thing they really get you with that. If you ask me I would say find another place. To much going on here. I use to love to come to them before it’s so Different now. The main lady is so rude to. She gets so mad if you don’t tip. I heard her talk about every customer that left, I even heard her complain about a girl that tip 5$ she said that’s it. I was like really. I always tip when I get my nails done and when I go out to eat at a restaurant, but when I seen her act like that I said nope I’m not tipping nothing.

This place is great! The nail technicians are hilarious and very friendly. My acrylic set lasted about 5 weeks without any damage. I recommend Vivian. 😇

Nail techs were very rude. very narrow selection of gel polish and they have about less than five colors of dip powder. when i told them i didnt want dip powder anymore after seeing they had hardly anything to choose from, they went on and on about it. then they rushed my gel manicure because they had 2 people come in after me for full sets. the edges of my manicure were all messed up and it lasted less than 2 weeks! biggest waste of money. dont waste your time or money coming to this place

Went to take the wife there to get her nails done. When we asked about prices the nail tech doing her nails said $30 so she said okay and proceeded to do her nails. She was very specific about how she wanted them( rounded tip w/glitter on ring finger on both hands) the nail tech said NOTHING about extra charge for glitter. When the tech was finishing up he didn’t round them off and instead said “this looks better” not what we asked for. Then when we were charged they charged $48 because the manager decided that the REAL price was $40 plus an extra $4 for glitter per finger. When telling the manager the tech said a different price she said “Im the manager and that’s the price”. Extremely unprofessional and they refused to fix my wife’s set. Never going there again. Don’t waste your time or money here and find a better nail salon where they listen to you and give you a fair price.

The nail tech that did my toes was rough but did a great job compared to the tech that did my full. Set acrylics she just rushed and did the gel and forgot to add the top coat on my whole left hand so... Right hand is shiny and streaky left is just dull .. Definitely wont go back it was 99$ for a full set + pedicure... Bad service not quality I dont recommend ..

I’ve been to so many nail places and this was one of the worst. I hate leaving bad reviews but I paid $50 for gel acrylics and I have smudges and divots in them. They already look like they need fills and they look crusty. I’m not sure what the ladies name was but she also did my little cousin’s nails and told her she couldn’t do ombré because it would take too long. She was in such a rush and was so rude. I love the color but it’s a shame the way she made them look.

I had a great experience here! Ive been here a few times already but theyve always done a great job with my manicure and pedicure. I usually get a french gel/shellac manicure and a regular pedicure but the last time I went I decided to try something new.So.. I ended up with color-changing gel that responds to temperature, and ombre of white and tan on my toes! I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Helen and Vivian are definitely the best you can get!! Also, when I went for the holidays, there was this cute guy at the reception desk which was also a plus.P.S. For those who looked on Yelp, I dont think that Yelp is a good representation of their actual service/store. I heard they had drama with a previous worker who decided to get revenge and told all her customers to trash their page. I left a review on their yelp too but it was pushed into the not recommended section.

Took daughter in to get nails done and eyes brows waxed. Her nails look like crap are painted horribly and thick toward back of nail. One chipped with in a day of being done. Her eye brows dont even looked waxed between her eyes. We thought it was loose hair tell we got home an washed her face. The lady even cut into her fingers on numerous spots. If I lived in Tucson I would of gone back An made them fix them. When I called to complain they didnt even offer just said we will speak with her. I had my nails done as well both asked for acrylic $27 for nails then charged $40 due to them using gel polish. Thats a ridiculous up charge for polish when they hardly carry old polish and never once did they mention the price change. Over $100 plus tip for bad work and not so great costumer service. Never gain will we use this place.

Tina did my stiletto nails and it was amazing. She was super nice and did a great job. She was fast and gave me a great price on my nails.

Nice clean place with new pedicure chairs and the technicians are nice friendly and thorough, although a bit slow. I did have to wait a bit but they called in help and it wasn’t long. I would come back if in the area

Alexs wife here. went here yesterday thinking they should do a great job seeing that they are in the mall. they are really rough and the man that did my nails was in a rush. didnt file the corners of my nails, and I have bubbles on every nail,one nail is already about to far off... buy far the worst place Ive ever been and I dont do my nails often. hopefully no one will look at my hands at the wedding Im attending on Saturday... DONT GO HERE!!!!!! one star is to much credit even. I even tried telling them that my nails where not done and needed fixed and they just rushed me out.. I didnt even leave a tip..

Terrible. Rude service. Paid $35 for acrylics that are breaking and Ive had them for 5 days. The girl doing my nails was only speaking in her foreign language to the lady next to her for the hour and half that she did my nails. When I asked her to fix something on my nail she kept correcting me and never fixed it and gave me a dirty look then talked to her fellow employee. If your looking for a good cheap nail salon I recommend nails by Lee. Very nice service and affordable nails last a long time. Never returning to red persimmon spa.

I miss the old owners!!! I had gone here for years and Tony with his family left thats when it all went down the toilet. I cannot believe how awful its gotten. Going from a super clean salon to a pigsty!! And the guy that did my nails hurt my hands something fierce oh and when he asked if i wanted gel i said no, he rolled his eyes and said ok whatever! Rude all the time i spent there. I will not go back!

One of the best Pedicures and Nails Ive gotten since moving to AZ 5 years ago! I finally found my place! Great quality and service! I brought my daughters in and they said their techs were also nice and did a great job too! We loved the hot stone & towel mani/pedi. Large selection of Gel colors and designs. They have a very nice staff and professional management. Not pushy and reasonable prices.Highly recommended!!

My sister and I were weary of coming in considering the reviews left from peoples previous visits. But we decided to check it out anyhow. We couldnt understand them when telling us their names, but I really think the outcome of your service depends on the person you get. We just had pedis and the ladies payed great attention to the work they were doing, gentle and not a thing left done half assed good timely manor and fair prices. We would come back again for another girls day

This place is horrible! I don’t even want to rate a star! They did a horrible job! Didn’t even fix it and wanted me to pay for a job horribly done! They chased me down the mall and I had to call the police for harassment! What a customer satisfaction!

I would gave them 0 stars if i could’ve. Horrible coustumer service, extremely rude. I went in for a mani pedi, after my pedicure i realized the service was bad and when i said i no longer wanted a manicure my friend and i were looked at with such attitude from all the workers it was absurd. My pedicure came out patchy and you can see the strokes. You can tell the polishes were so old because they wouldn’t even open! all crusted over. Never returning. Wouldn’t reccomend.

AMAZING!!!!!! I arrived there to receive a mani/pedi......OMG, the caring and the customer experience is above any bar I can compare to!!!!! Through the course of my nails and feet being tended to, they recognized I had poor circulation in my legs, which is not something I broadcast, and offered me a circulation treatment!!!!!! First, they provided me with an example of the benefits, and then consoled me on my feelings of the sample........ OK, IT WAS A FIX I HAVE BEEN NEEDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This salon I hated at first, but then I started becoming a regular because I found the right people. However, I went just yesterday and the only lady who would see me was the elder lady whos ALWAYS sitting by the reception desk. Shes the reason I didnt want to go there in the first place mind you she does just an awful job. Normally I would see Raymond for my filling because hes always worth paying for to me. However this elder lady makes me sit at her station. First off, she was listening in on a conversation that I was having with my best friend so closely, she filed through my actual nail and cut my cuticles. And after that, she filed my nails Dow to where they were no longer coffin shape and turned them into spongebob nails. And after she finished I also realized they were all unaligned, they all had bumps from uneven acrylic, and the corners were so pointy I had half a mind to stab her eye out with my pinky. Needless to say, I wont be going back there EVER because she constantly ruins my nails and I refuse to pay her any longer!! I certainly hope she wasnt expecting a tip because I didnt give her a dime

I went on saturday to get a $50 deluxe spa pedicure and everything was great. The next day i had an ingrown nail. If youre staff is not trained well on trimming and filing nails, they should not be working there. Definetly not going back.

Im extremely disappointed, went in last night to get coffin gel black matte acrylics, spent almost $60. Took a shower this morning to see the matte wasnt cured/dry all the way, some of the polish just tore off, theres bubbles. My nails hurt really bad this morning too.. I dont have the money to get them fixed now

The service was fine but they got mad when we pt the tip on our card and acted insulted that we didnt give a higher tip. We had 4 people and tipped $10/person for a $25 pedicure each.

So bad!!!! First of all my acrylics look terrible so bad Im embarrassed! My nails are uneven and crooked which is driving me crazy. They had me switching chairs back and forth then didnt tell me that I was getting gel on them rather then paint and then they charge more for the gel and a coffin style nail but dont tell you that! Tried to charge us 135$ for basic pedicure, gel nails, and a full set which is ridiculous!! Not to mention it took 3 Hours, they talked about us together then laughed which was completely rude because we have no idea what theyre saying on top of that it was seriously not clean at all. Disappointing!

Tina is the best my nails were destroyed I came here and my nails were amazingly beautiful after very kind gentle service I had this ugly skin on my feet and the catalyst were removed the people that work here are amazing if you see a bad review on here don’t take it come yourself and see how the services on your own

WORST SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED!!!! Please do not come here, the guy who did my nails was so rude and had a horrible attitude he would mess up while applying the acrylic and he would get pissed off and start man handling my hands, my nails looked horrible after, I’ve been here two times and have had horrible experiences both times, they want to charge extra for everything. Please spend your money somewhere else where it will be worth it, I will never return to this place.
