The staff was amazing, compassionate and kind. The doctor was amazing and made me feel like she genuinely cared about my cat. They squeezed me in the day I called and then 2 days after my visit they called to see how my cat was doing . All the staff went above and beyond for us
NW Clinics Dr. ODonnell has been my vet for my pets for 15 years. I believe she has loved my animals as much as me, so takes extra good care of them. Now with 5, 3 dogs and 2 cats, her special attention and understanding of eachs personality makes each visit a pleasant experience even when one is a bit nervous. Meredith, her assistant has the same excellent bed-side manner for our pets. Both understand and treat each of four-legged family members as family. I do not think you will find a veterinarian as knowledgeable and as compassionate as Dr. ODonnell when wanting the very best for your pet(s).
They worked with me last minute to evaluate our dog, and were very responsive through a painful and hectic weekend. I appreciate the time the vet took to thoroughly explain our options when they discovered our dog had a massive tumor; she was very patient and clear with all of my questions. Because it was the weekend we werent able to get a full suite of tests done right away and we eventually decided to start the end-of-life process instead of continuing evaluation/treatment, but regardless I appreciate their time and effort. Everyone I spoke to here was very communicative and understanding.
Just had a terrible experience here with the staff, only allowing two of the three of us to have access to our dying cat’s appointment. Of course three staff members were standing inside the front door 3’ feet apart. They have simply used the COVID issue as a self-interest tool to make their work easier by limiting access. On top of it all we’ve been vaccinated, which means we cannot give it get COVID. Vet offices are medical facilities, and therefore, one would think, governed by science. This is an example of how companies use issues to their own advantages, having nothing to do with a medical rationale. My daughter and wife are in the office, while I’m sitting in the parking lot. Finally, my daughter isn’t vaccinated...of course they don’t ask that important and essential question. Don’t get me wrong, while the care is good this policy is bad, and leaves the impression that the operation is about the staff, not the people whose pets are dying. Finally, has the entire staff been vaccinated? If not, it doesn’t matter how many family members are allowed access. It is patently apparent that the reason for the policy is to limit the work and interaction the company has to have with people. If perpetuated it will doom the company’s reputation.
I had a urgent concern with my pup and was running out of options for my regular go to vet clinics. Dee helped get my pup in ASAP. She was so caring and wonderful. The staff was very helpful. Dr Iman was our vet and did a wonderful job seeing my pup got the care and meds she needed.
I took my puppy for her first exam and i couldn’t be any more happy with this place! The staff and doctor is very caring towards their pets and owners. The doctor is very detailed in explaining your pets needs and health. They even give you a call a day after to check up on them. I will definitely be returning!
What an amazing place. Not only did they squeeze me in the same morning I called they understood and were so compassionate about my sick 7 month old bunnie. They took great care of him and I am pleased to say is almost back to his normal self! Amazing staff and OM Mariah was incredible.
Our dog developed a UTI and on Saturday we realized she had it. I called our vet who is open on Saturday and was told (after 5 minutes on hold) that she needed to be seen right away, but they didnt have an appointment until Wed!! So I called NW and asked if I could bring her there. We were so happy with Dr. ODonnell and staff that we are going to be using them for all of our pets care!
My cat stopped eating. I took him to another emergency clinic who diagnosed him with stage 4 kidney disease and seemed to recommend euthanasia. A few hours later, I took him to Northwest Pet Clinic, his normal vet. They came up with a plan that saved his life and will keep him comfortable. Highly recommend them for their quality and compassionate care.
I recently took my dog who fell ill almost overnight. They wanted to do over $1200 worth of testing, injections, X-rays and medications. Since leaving, my dog is no longer mobile, has not used the restroom in over 24 hrs and is now unable to stand. No other options were discussed and I feel his condition was much more severe than they led us to believe... but hey! They got their money!
My dog was bitten by a rattlesnake late Sunday afternoon. Knowing that prompt attention is a must in such a situation I contacted NWPC as they were the closest and open. So pleased with the prompt response. I was quickly informed of my options in a clear, professional manner. The follow up appointments were of the same caliber. Dr. Love was outstanding in her explanations of what to expect. Appreciated the follow up call a day after the three appointments. I had heard horror stories about the expense of treating rattlesnake bites but was pleasantly surprised when the bill was presented.
I brought in my dog as he has been declining in appearance. The estimated work up would be more than $500. The vet however used her clinical appraisal and just one study to see that he had a terminal cancer. She did not proceed with the further workup without discussion of the prognosis. We had a previous dog with the same symptoms so it made sense. The fact that the veterinarian did not push extra costs or futile treatments is a sign of professionalism one can trust. The clinic also made a follow up call to see how things were going a few days later. That was much appreciated.
My dog was very sick, they charged me 1,000 dollars, did a valley fever test that we ever got back. Gave me pills when I said she wouldnt eat. I feel so let down by this place. They are cold and not very knowledgeable. They just want your money. I will never go back. I have given them several tries. Have a bunch of medication I cant use. Terrible place.
This is a great vet! I am a new cat owner and had a sudden and dramatic realization that my cat had some kind of tapeworm. I wont elaborate and hopefully my cat Arthur wont be too embarrassed that I am telling people on the internet. But they were able to squeeze him in on short notice on Sunday afternoon and provided him with a dewormer that solved the problem! I will note they may still have covid protocols in place (they did when I went), having you drop your pet off and talk mostly over the phone. They were very compassionate to my boy and very professional in their dealings with me. Upfront about all costs and cordial. Arthur is a big shmoozer and flirt, but if you have a more shy/fragile pet I think this is a great place that will treat them with gentleness and respect.I arranged a follow up appointment to have him chipped and that went well too. I cant over-emphasize enough how nice it is to have a vet I can trust to just be normal and provide the service I ask for without drama. I went to two others in the area, one of whom was a total quack who was wrong about everything, and the other with some seriously sketchy business practices. So this place was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended!
My dog had a nasty cactus thorn lodged in his tongue. I called in the morning and they had us in within the hour. They took great care of him, trimmed his nails, and updated vaccines for us too! I received many phone calls throughout his visit to update me on his condition. Could not recommend more, everyone was fantastic!!
I cant say enough about how wonderful this clinic is. They saved our dogs life. The care and love they showed for not just our furry family but us as well.
I feel very sorry about having to give this clinic anything other than 5 stars. To start, the doctors are great, very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to me. I have a very nervous dog and the staff took extra time to comfort him which I appreciated more than anything. I had so many communication issues with this clinic. To start, I’m from out of town but was living in AZ for two months, I submitted a request through the website for an appointment and didn’t receive a call back until 3 days later! This tells me that they are not continuously checking the email/sources of communications often and do not make this a priority. Second, it seems that they’re only out to get money. As previously mentioned the doctor did take the time to explain everything to me regarding my pet however, the receptionist just wanted to SELL things to me rather than allow me to decide what route was best taken for my dog. Third, once it was time for me to leave AZ it took this clinic THREE DAYS to send my dog’smedical records to his new clinic. That is ridiculous. My dog was seen at his new clinic without the paperwork from Northwest Pet Clinic because they simply didn’t get to them in a timely manner. This clinic also does not carry a wide variety of food/medication on hand and shipping for my dog’s flea and tick medication took ONE MONTH. I was very disappointed with the performance as this clinic has amazing reviews and did not meet that expectation. The doctors and staff were professional and a pleasure to speak with however, the lack of urgency seemed to me that they did not care about my pet’s needs. I have no personal issue with anyone on staff, they did a very thorough exam on my nervous little dog but I will not be returning to this clinic.
I have been taking my pets to NW for 30 years. Seen many doctors and felt comfortable with all. I really like the attention (given to my pets) and feedback I get from Dr. ODonnell and Dr. English. They treat my fur babies with kindness, great care and concern. Keep up the good work!
Took one of my cats here for a checkup. Really did like this place til a week later when my indoor cat (the one I took to the vet) developed a viral infection, causing my other house cats to become sick. My strictly indoor cats were all negative for herpes and HIV prior to going here. Have documentation to prove it. So I know it isn’t them. This place obviously has poor hygiene standards. I will never take any of my cats here again. My $200 visit has wound up costing me a lot of trouble and money.
I have taken my dog there for almost 2 years now. At first, I was very impressed and was extremely satisfied with his care. The last two times he has been there have been an absolute nightmare. I understand that things are hectic with the COVID crisis, but when they fail to call with lab results or even follow up after an appointment, its extremely irritating. I have had to call about scheduling routine injection appointments for my dogs allergies after they promised to get things on the calendar well in advanced. I have had to take my dog in for emergency care when he got very sick and after trying to upsell me with unnecessary scans and tests that would have cost THOUSANDS of dollars, I ended up spending over $600 on blood work to get an email from the vet with the lab results and a snarky message that said your dogs fine after I specifically asked for the vet to CALL not email me. I never write bad reviews about places ever, but I have never been so disgusted with the outrageous unprofessionalism and lack of care in some of the vets. My pets will never go here again, however, Dr. Jackson and Dr. Alvarez are great but hard to schedule with. All of the other vets could care less about your pets only care about billing for unnecessary tests and making money.
I recommend this place because yesterday on Halloween my French bull dog eye was really bad and i had taken her to a different place at first and called me to come get her and said take her home and I called this place and as busy as they was they got her in and i told them what had happened with the other place and they took really good care of my fur baby. Thank you Desiree for taking good care of Frenchie. I will always come to this place.
Northwest Pet Clinic was so caring and responsive when I brought in my sick little puppy Rafa without an appointment early in the morning. He ended up having Parvo and the clinic took such good care of him for 5 days with multiple updates throughout the day. So happy they were able to nurse him back to health and we will definitely be returning back for normal checkups and vaccinations! Rafa, Andrew, and Lindsey thank you!
We had an appointment with Ammy and Dr. Christensen yesterday for Bella, our pomsky. They were exceptional with the service, answered any questions we asked, and gave her the shots that she needed with the utmost affection and without any problems. They were wonderful and handled her with care. Definitely going to NW for all of Bellas needs! Thank you!
Very friendly staff. Extremely professional and courteous. Dr. Alvarez was so kind and compassionate. The technicians all treat our dog with loving care.
This is a great place. Personalized care and excellent customer service. My baby girl was treated with love and concern, and I was as well.
I’ve worked for Norhtwest Pet Clinic for 15 years! Great business, amazing people & amazing place to work. ❤️
Very disappointed! Our dog has Addisions, NW Pet Clinic has received 8 requests from the pharmacy to fill the prescription. Our dog is a patient of NW pet clinic for several years. When we called NW, they say we are too busy to fill but if you use our pharmacy, we can fill in 24 hours. NW is interested in their pocket books not what is best for your pet.
My experience with Northwest Vet Clinic has been humbling. Several of my dogs were diagnosed with cancer. The staff was compassionate and informative. Am still dealing with one of my fur babies at home. I can call them at any time and they help me make my fur baby life at home easier. Information, triage, whatever it takes for Daisy Mae till it’s time for her to go home.Thank you
Went for check-up and shots today. Meghan and Dr. Alvarez were great..my dog can be skittish and they made his feel right at home. No problems at all doing their work. The team at NW is caring and they always follow-up to be sure your pet is okay after treatments. Thank you NW team!
My dog Pancho broke his leg and the care at Northwest Pet Clinic was amazing. Tina and Dr. Alcott were amazing, they cared for my dog like he was one of their family members. In such a scary situation my daughter and I felt at ease and it is all thanks to Tina and Dr Alcott. Thank you for taking such great care of my dog Pancho.
My dog, Sadie, was put instantly at ease by the wonderful vet tech, Tina.Tina was very kind, attentive, and thorough. There were several follow-up calls regarding test results and care, and Tina was extremely patient and considerate, in spite of being over-the-top busy. I will definitely continue to bring all my dogs to the Ina location.
Have always loved my experiences at Northwest Pet Clinic, even the difficult ones. Staff is always incredibly kind and professional, and thinks my cat is as handsome as I do! Sometimes (not always) long wait times in the room, but morning appointments seem more efficient. Highly recommend. Our technician Ashley was very helpful, nice, and knowledgable.
Northwest Pet Clinic is responsive and caring. I appreciate their longer hours, and their professionalism during Co-Vid19. I highly recommend them.
This was a follow-up appointment for Willow to check eating and digestive issues. Tina was very sweet with Willow and put us both at ease. She listened to all my questions with much patience. Dr. O’Donnell spent as much time as needed to answer all my questions. I am very grateful for Northwest Pet Clinic!
Seemed like a good place to go, but they are extremely slow. You are guaranteed to spend 2 hours here for even the most basic things when they are not busy. I understand sometimes it takes time, but when the appointment is over and the tech says they will be right back to check us out and disappears for 20 minutes I have a problem with that.We asked the vet a question about a medication and was told they would get back to me. They didnt. I called a week later to ask again and was told again they would get back to me and never did. After 2+ years of the same issues, we are finding another vet.
The staff here are knowledgeable and compassionate, they expertly treated my cats wounds and have gone above and beyond to support me as well. Tina, in particular charmed my cat and was able to coax him out of the carrier for the examinations. Im extremely pleased with my experiences here. Thank you guys!
I had an awesome first experience. Super friendly staff who helped me get my cat out of my car. I am really relieved to find a caring, friendly and knowledgeable animal clinic. Convenient scheduling also. Thanks a bunch.
My cat broke his leg. They were quick to get him in and get a cast on. However they left an IV port in and when he got home he bled out a lot. Had I not caught he mightve bled to death. Follow ups were routine, however when I needed to change an appointment after 8 weeks in, they didnt have an available time for me to reschedule. So they put me on standby for a cancellation. Waited few days, called again still no opening for check up. He tore off his bandage and never got a call back for follow-up until the bandage was off for a few days already and he seemed completely healed from the broken leg. By that time I saw no need to bring him in for another $300 x-ray. I was disappointed with them leaving the port in and horrendous rescheduling to the point he was already healed by the time they got back to me. I will not come again.
I got my dog a year ago using a subpar vet service. I made the choice to switch my dogs care early on to NW Pet Clinic and boy, am I happy we made this decision. I received so much information, most should have been explained by the first vet we started with. This staff is so well organized, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and more. Trustful and kind. I will be using their services forever!
They took such loving care of my Cinnamon Syrian Male Hamster Charlie seen by Dr Iman. All the staff were so loving. He is much better now! Thanks to all, love you guys. Thanks from David Joseph DeMarco and Charlie Hamster.
Entire team are excellent, approachable, intelligent, and personable. Facility is small but well maintained. They truly care and they are excellent with follow up. Affordable pricing and up front about costs.
🧡 First time there with my Chow, everyone working there from front desk, vet assistant to the veterinarian, they were all genuinely friendly. Even on a Saturday morning. Super grateful it’s open on a Saturday. Veterinarian (Jennifer E) was helpful, patient and kind. My doggie went in for vaccination and while I was there they helped me with some difficult dreads I by myself couldn’t cut by her ears. In my opinion reasonable pricing. Thank you!🧡 definitely take her back!🧡
Took my dog in for a mass removal. The operation went well and the staff was very professional pre and post-operation. After a couple of days my dog kept knocking his JP Drain loose. They got us in within 30 minutes of calling and removed the drain.
Incredible staff and doctors. Everyone is very friendly and treats your animals like they’re you’re own! Couldn’t say enough about this place!
Been going here for over 25 years. Always good service and friendly. They always make you feel they care.
WARNING TO PET OWNERS Took my sick pet to Northwest Pet Clinic and they wanted $2000+ immediately. They insisted on either paying the fees or kill her. When we wanted a second opinion, they said they were going to call the police and they reported us to animal control. We authorized minimal treatment and they took her to a back room and when my husband followed they acted paranoid like they had something to hide. Dr. Jackson, so called animal advocate, and Northwest Pet Clinic are money grubbers that say pay or your animal will die. Anyway you look at it, prepare to empty your pockets or see your pet be killed. This story does have a happy ending. My refusal to allow them to put my dog to sleep gave me time to take my pet to a competent veterinarian who determined the CORRECT diagnosis and performed the necessary surgery at a fraction of their fees. My baby is now home, healthy, and happy.I was a client for years but their ethics have gone in the toilet. If you dont believe me look at other reviews. The negative ones closely resemble this one. If you love your pets, please find another vet.
They don’t really care about your pets health, the only care about getting money by providing the worst treatment plan for your pet.
Excellent experience! I got an appointment right away. The staff was so friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Will definitely be coming here from now on.
Took Pippa in for initial get acquainted and establish account with the clinic. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Chose this facility because of special treatment criteria for cats.
Super professional, caring, and intelligent team. Took excellent care of my kitten, and provided support through emotional decisions. Thank you all so much!
Finding a good vet is hard. Finally I feel that we have found THE vets for our dogs. The staff is friendly and our dogs love them. They are also an urgent care center so there is someone there to answer questions or see your pet in an emergency. Dr. ODonnell and Dr. Carpenter were very gentle with our dogs and made them comfortable with the examinations and treatments. One dog had a very successful surgery. Overall I rate the Northwest Pet clinic a 5/5 establishment.
I have been so impressed with my experience at NW Pet Clinic! My dog Jack wasnt feeling well, and Dr. ODonnel was able to determine the cause, and surgically correct the issue. Jack is now doing much better! Throughout the entire process I received timely, compassionate care from everyone involved. I was also impressed that were able to see me in the evenings, and even on Sunday when we needed to. Overall, it was a top notch experience, and Jack received excellent care!
This place is amazing! The staff is kind, considerate, thorough, doesnt rush diagnosing - or you! The entire place(s) is clean, inviting and it really does feel like your pet is as much a member of their family as yours. It is said that the tone and caring of the staff & employees comes from the top down. That is certainly true here. Dr ODonnell & her entire staff ROCK!
Great clinic. Convenient hours and everyone was very professional and kind. They took the time to answer all my questions in a thoughtful way. I will be back!
Best place to go with animals. The staff is perfect and always so nice and good. My dog loves it there. Their they only ones that can handle her.Their the greatest. Took my dog in for her shots and nails and they did a fantastic job. Just the greatest place you can take your animal.
Thank you - NW Pet - for all that you do! Your quality of care from your Ina NW Pet Clinic has always been one of the most comforting aspects of my pet care and wellness. From a simple check up - to the complex surgeries performed by all of your Doctors - compassion / commitment to care / and quality can be found at any of your locations. It all starts by always feeling welcomed by your front desk intake: they listen; they care; and they direct what is needed, when it is needed - in a timely, efficient and organized manner. You listen and hear how important our pets are and then follow conservative, wellness best practices. My family thanks you for bringing quality Veterinary care and convenient services without compromise to our pets and our community.
We had to bring my moms cat here to be put down. Robbery prices and the Dr. Christensen was so rude. She had the nerve to say “had she had vet care, this would not be happening.” Fact is, the cat did have care somewhere else that was closed on Saturday AND she was 18 years old. There is a time and place for everything, but saying that while your beloved cat is being put down is not the time. So hurtful to my mother.
They put my dog on thyroid medication. When she needed a refill it took 3 days to get the doctor to write a refill.( Not a big deal. If the doctor didnt fill it for 3 days then she must have not needed it badly). Then the vet said my dog needed her blood to be drawn to check if the meds are working. I made the appointment. We arrived. They took my dog inside ( lobby is closed for covid). The Vet tech called me to discuss how my dog is doing . When I told the tech that my dog was off the medicine for 3 days the tech said they may have to reschedule the blood drawl appointment because she had been off the meds. The vet tech said she will check with the doctor and call me back. As i am hanging up with the tech they are walking my dog back to my car and asking for payment. I asked them if the doctor said if the blood test was necessary right now. They had no clue what i was talking about . I told them that their vet tech told me that due to her being off the medication for 3 days the blood test may not be necessary right now and I may have to reschedule. Ofcourse they said it was necessary ( they already did it without talking to the vet tech/ doctor). I paid the $111 bill. I didnt want to make a scene . I felt wronged. I feel like this place is very unorganized and just out for money. This is not the first time I felt wronged by this place.
My wife and I took our beagle in for a persistent cough. The clinic got us in on short notice and there was very little wait time during our whole appointment. We were seen by Dallas and Dr. Jackson, both very professional and thorough with the diagnosis. The clinic was very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.
Having worked as a vet tech at a different veterinary office, I am aware of what can go on behind closed doors and I love that I do not have to worry about that at NW Pet Clinic. The quality of care is excellent but for me, how each person at NW Pet treats my pet is of utmost importance. I want to know that whether I am there to observe it or not, my cat is reassured and treated gently and respectfully. I always know that is the case at NW Pet, regardless of which veterinarian I get or which tech is caring for my beloved family member. Of course, Dr. O will always be my all time favorite. NW Pet is the place for me.
The staff at NW Pet Clinic work so well with my blind, senior dog. David was the technician and he was gentle and has a soft voice that helped Dakotas anxiety. Dr. Christensen took her time examining him, and put him at ease (well, as much as possible when youre a dog at the vets ). Its worth the drive from the west side of town to know he gets good care.
These folks are so conveniently available, delightfully friendly, and always on time. My cat and I felt like special guests with Ashley and Dr. Alcott on Saturday! And thats always the experience whenever we need to visit. They have a great electronic record system and the price is reasonable.
Professional service, trained personnel, concerned people, kindness evident at all levels. We lost two dogs last year and they were very supportive. Unfortunately, in an effort to express how much they care, we were sent a keepsake of our German Shepherd in the form of her footprint in clay. We had no idea this was coming and, frankly, it was a bit creepy to us. We were hard-pressed to get past this death and even though they meant well, it was a blow to open up the package several days later.
Joke of a place said they’re understaffed to help my dog
We love NW pet clinic—they have seen us for everything from bronchitis and valley fever to surgery and dental cleanings. We love the staff and clinicians here and all three of our dogs do too! Dr ash and Avril were very attentive to our needs and even called to check in our dog after the appointment. Thanks, Leo, salty dog, & daisy!
They always make me feel safe to put my dog in there hands. My first experience with them is when my other dog was sick and she was to sick to save. They helped me understand and cared for me as well as my dog. It was a hard to decide to put her down but I was glad I was where I was at, as they understood what I was going through. My husband insisted we get another Schnauzer right away and we found one a week later and it was the best thing for me. Thank you for all the great care and understanding!
After many years of going to NW Pet Clinic, I have nothing but good things to say about the care and compassion they give. They are the best! I have always seen them treat animals with the utmost respect and love. Recently they assisted in the end-of-life care for my beloved cat, and I was so grateful to have Dr. ODonnells calm, kind, and steady presence with us throughout. My best friend was given exceptional palliative care so that he could enjoy his final days. Dr. ODonnell and the staff of the clinic ensured that he had a dignified death, surrounded by the love of his family. I will always be grateful for that, and for the countless other kind things they have done at NW Pet Clinic to bring my pets health and happiness over the years.
We have been going to Northwest for over 10 years with our pets. I credit their compassion and dedication to excellence in care of our 3 dogs for long and healthy lives. Our pets are all rescue animals, so, some were in better shape than others when we adopted them. Sadly we had to put down two of our three dogs in the last 6 months. One of them was 15 and the other a little over 10 years old. The staff and doctors where very compassionate in assisting us in making these very difficult choices for our family. Our dogs have had the benefit of care from many of the vets in the office. Dental surgeries, teeth cleanings with Dr. O’Donnell, Dr. Siegrist on the weekends and many others in between. Our dogs have had yearly checkups, lab work, stitches (from minor altercations with each other!) and every manner of treatment, including laser therapy, in between. The staff has allowed us to carry them back to treatment rooms, drawn blood in the exam rooms, because they are nervous and always honored our request to accompany them for as long as possible before procedures. I recommend them all the time, and won’t go anyplace else. Oh, and their hours work really nicely for those of us that work!!
After a few unpleasant visits with our old vet, I am thrilled to have my puppies as new patients at northwest pet clinic!! I brought in my 1 year old GSP with itchy ears. Before the tech and vet even began the initial exam, they put down their clip boards, grabbed a handful of treats, and promptly joined my puppy and I down at her eye level! They spent almost 10 minutes gaining her trust, and finally she allowed them to touch her sore ears/pet her head, and whisk her away to have her ears cleaned out and medicated! I am so impressed with their “fear free” concept! This is our new veterinarian!
Northwest Pet Clinic is GREAT! Our cat Brock loves Dr. Rachel. Dr. Rachel and the entire staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you! 🐈❤
New to Tucson and had to pick a vet at random. The first vet I tried made me feel unwelcomed and a very bad pet owner (not to mention the what I thought were grossly high prices). At my second shot at a Tucson vet I struck gold! I have to say I had my hackles up and was ready for a fight but the staff at NWPC were fabulous! With a special shout-out to Mariah. Oreo just cant stop talking about you!
TOOK OUR DOG IN FOR EXAM ON 2-5-2015. WHEN WE CHECKED IN WITH SHERRY VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. THEY TOOK US BACK RIGHT AWAY! CORINA THE TECH WAS VERY SWEET AND VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING TOWARDS MY DOG, MYSELF, AND MY WIFE. DR. CARPENTER WAS GREAT! VERY FRIENDLY, CONCERNED AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS AND ALSO PERFORMED EXAM RIGHT AWAY AND THEY EVEN HELPED US LOOK INTO WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO HELP OUR DOG GET BETTER TREATMENT HE NEEDS NOW AND IN THE FUTURE. WE HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND WILL RETURN FOR ALL OUR DOGS MEDICAL CONCERNS!
The staff and veterinarian we saw were very nice when we were there in January. It was a clean and friendly office. We got right into our exam room. Our dog isnt thrilled with seeing other dogs, so they were nice to tell me when it was clear to leave. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable in answering all my questions.
I went to see Dr. Goodman on February 12th for my pet quail. She is an excellent doctor, with extensive knowledge of birds. I would highly recommend her for all your avian needs! The technician, Cody, was very helpful and kind as well, and I could definitely tell he cares very much for animals. Overall great experience! My quail thanks you too =)
I wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else!! Everyone truly cares about you pets. I love that they always call after a visit to check on how my babies are doing. They have such great hours and always get me in quickly. I highly recommend Northwest Pet Clinic.
Went to the Ina location. Small parking space. Very friendly staff overall. Great service.Had to take my sisters chihuahua terrier in after it was attacked by a larger dog & was seen immediately. Staff was attentive & kept us up to date on his status through everything. Price range for treatment & our options were laid out nicely & discussed before hand. We had the opportunity to question everything on the quote. Pricing seemed very reasonable considering we came in with no appointment or call ahead. Really appreciated not feeling pressured or judged one way or the other during the consultation. I feel as though I got my moneys worth overall for the quality of care he recieved.Note, however, that they dont have billing as an option so be prepared to pay the full cost same day.
I have been taking my pets to them for 8 years. They are fantastic! I recommend all my friends to see them. My dog and cat have seen all the vets there and they are all great. Dr. ODonnell is very good with my dog. My dog loves her and it makes the vet visit very easy. Dr. ODonnell is very knowledgable and current on health and medical news. She is very approachable. When I call and have a question, she directly calls me back and thoroughly answers my question. They also have extended hours which is perfect for me since I work full time. I cant say enough great things about this clinic. I definitely trust and depend on them to give my pets the best care and they absolutely do not disappoint at all.
Talk about quick! I was dreading all day going to the vet clinic about just as bad as my dog was. We got there and was greeted and immediately knew who we were and zero wait time. The tech asked great questions and was really gentle. The Dr. was very nice and gave me multiple options for treatment. Prices were fair especially for our circumstances. Plus they are open on Sunday! Thank You!
The doctors and staff at Northwest Pet Clinic have always been helpful and encouraging. What I appreciate most about them is their compassion for both my dogs and my family. In the last year we put down two elderly dogs and although never an easy decision they made the process as smooth as possible and I will always be grateful to them for that.
I LOVE this place. I moved here from CA. I had a 10 year old Bull Mastiff. She became ill, and unfortunately, we had to let her cross the rainbow bridge. The staff was very compassionate and understanding, and offered possible options with possible outcomes. In addition, we have other pets we take there too, and everyone is so friendly. Animal lovers for sure! They are very helpful and knowledgeable! I plan on continuing to take my pets there, and should I take on any additional pets, this is the place I will bring them!
We have been coming to Northwest Pet Clinic for over 20 years. We tried other area vets and always came back to the best. Northwest Pet treats you with respect and dignity and gives your pets the very best in care. They work with you to determine your expectations and desires and then are up front with recommendations and the costs, giving you options to choose from. They always follow up with a call or two to make sure your pet is progressing to wellness. When you need them, they are there.
Great vets and techs there. The facility is a bit small but their hearts are big enough to compensate. They love the animals and you can easily see that! Always friendly, kind, compassionate, caring and helpful even if they must refer you to another vet/facility, they will to give you the best care possible. I love them!
Our Maltese, Rocco needed his vaccinations updated and a general exam. We arrived just a little bit early and was taken back to see Dr. Carpenter right away. Marlena started taking notes for our visit and preparing Dr. Carpenter for Rocco. Roccos not found of vets or anyone messing with him. But with some treats and sweet talking Marlena won Rocco over. They have seen 2 of our dogs and have been happy with their care and concerns that I had.
The veterinary place we takes our cats to was closed, so we called to see if they can get my cat in on short notice since he hurt is paw and we werent sure if it was broken. They got us in an hour later and thankfully its just a sprain but I am very grateful they were able to see my cat give him the medication he needed.
This place is the best place Ive found in Tucson. Theyre very helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to answer all my questions.
I took my kitten here for shots and a checkup when his eye was red. On the latter visit, Amy, Tika, and Dr. Lawton were so nice to him. He wouldnt stop purring when they tried to check his heart rate. They pay attention more to the pet being seen rather than the human who is paying the bills which I havent found in other places Ive taken my cats. Highly recommended. Friendly staff and nurses and doctors who are very caring.
A little pricey but their service is above and beyond awesome. I see and feels like our three babies (3, 6, and 11 years old teacup dogs) get full checkup and attention with gentle approach. If you dont want to ponied up for your pets, reasonable or not, pick other place that fit your budget. We are in middle class category but know the difference between good service to CHAMP service for our families.
Best decision I ever made for my pups was going to this clinic. I wish I had discovered it sooner. Exceptional and caring staff. I will only go here from now on.
I had my pet suffer from blockage/stool and she was suffering for a few days. I took her in as an emergency as she was in pain; they immediately worked on her, diagnosed her and help her with the discomfort. The crew was really appreciative, helpful and respectful. I’d give them a 20!!!!Thanks to all the crew at the Northwest Pet Clinic!!!!
We have been taking our cats to NW Pet Clinic since 2010 and highly recommend it. We see Dr. ODonnell and love her, but everyone is very helpful and kind. Our last visit was Feb 9, 2015 to pick up some hypoallergenic food for my cat Izzy. Tika helped us and even gave us a special box to carry the food since there were a lot of cans -- and that made it easier than in a bag. Just a little thing, but so thoughtful. We recommend NW Pet Clinic to all of our friends.
We all love our pets and when they are sick and in need of care, we seek out for that help. Northwest Pet Clinic it absolutely the best! They have a very friendly staff and most important, their doctors are very knowledgeable. I always go to see Dr. Miller and he has always helped my pets recover from their many illnesses, and/or has recommended other specialists who would be able to help my special little dog. You will love this place and the treatment your animal receives.
Best in town, no doubt. Great hours, skilled and knowledgeable staff, pleasant and professional always. Most importantly they understand how important our pets are and they treat them with affection and respect. NW makes us feel well cared for whenever we go there.
Wonderful caring Dr and staff...they take the time to listen and explain.
My son and I took Chewie in for surgery and boy, were we amazed by the service. From the moment we went inside to the moment we left, everybody was so nice with Chewie and us we had wish we had thought about this place ever since we rescued and adopted Chewie from PACC as a 7 week old puppy.Thank you so much for treating all pets like you do. They all deserve the love you give them.Thank you,Tomas and Alejandro Alvarez
I recently had to put my best friend to sleep. My baby Skooter A cat I saved 15 years ago as a baby kitten was the best. Northwest Pet Clinic here helped so much with their understanding and love for the animals that they treat here. A week later I rescued a 5 year old tabby from PAWS. They already knew who she was from going out to PAWS and treating her with the shots cats usually receive yearly. Thanks again guys & gals ♥
I had a wonderful experience with my 8 week old puppy today. Being the first time to go to this vet, I wasnt sure what to expect. The appointment far exceeded any expectations I would have imagined. The technician (Jenni) was so kind to the puppy and our family. She answered all of my questions about chew toys, basic puppy behavior and health needs. The vet (Dr. Jackson) took her time with our puppy, listening to her stomach. She even let the kids use her stethoscope to listen to the puppys heartbeat. Dr. Jackson also patiently answered all of our questions and gave us some medical recommendations to questions I hadnt thought to ask. Every staff member from the front desk to people passing us in the hall was friendly and even stopped to peep in the pet carrier to compliment our puppys cuteness. :-) Highly recommend.
I brought my dog in late on a friday night because my goofy dog decided to eat something the night before and was coughing really deep and chesty. The doctors were absolutely amazing and were willing to stay 2 hours after closing just to talk me through all of the options. At the time I wasnt able to afford surgery, so we exhausted every other non surgical option and the doctors were behind me at all times, and just when i was about to put my pup down, the doctors kept hope up and I was able to take my sweet boy home and he has recovered perfectly. The staff is wonderful and i will be going here from now on.
My sons dog Chip was in to see Brianna today for shots. Brianna was kind and gentle with Chip for which Im very appreciative.
Great vet we brought our puppy in that was having problems and they fixed her right up and explained everything to us. We have now switch to Northwest pet and taking my bulldog in as well
