We have had a very pleasant living experience for the past 5 years at Stonesthrow. The location is absolutely perfect for us. We have enjoyed our neighbors and have had no issues with management. While the quality of work from maintenance is perhaps typical of apartment living, we have not had any significant issues and all problems have been addressed promptly. Overall we have been very happy living here.

Love the property and neighbors. I strongly dislike the management team. They are entitled and lack in people skills. Their main focus is to get people to rent but once they rent they could care less about their concerns and don’t even have the time to listen.

Kiani I cant thank you enough! The experience you not only made us feel welcomed and appreciated, but you made us ultimately come back and end up renting. Its incredibly hard to find ppl that so down to earth, genuinely honest, caring of others and put the needs of others first. Ive been in a horrible situation and been in a desperate need of a fresh start and I cant thank you enough for giving me that for my boys and I and we cannot wait to move in and be apart of the community! Your an amazing person, mother and your son is lucky to have such a wonderful mother as is your boss to have someone that treats everyone as if it was her own living situation. I look forward to working with you in the future and I want you to know that you truely were a blessing an a angel sent down from above meant to be and meant to happen and to run into ya and get the apartment! Thank you again for patience, time and sincerity.Jared

Kiani I cannot begin to tell you how rare it is to have someone who possesses all the skills, talents and traits you do all in one. Your so sweet, kind comforting and welcoming! I knew the second we came in your office even tho initially they didnt have the unit we wanted you still worked with us and were so incredibly passionate and understanding as if it was your own home and own circumstances you were going thru! You never know what some ppl are going thru when you meet them and its such a breath of fresh air to meet someone so incredibly kind and puts others needs and desires before her own. Your bosses have.no clue how lucky they are to have you. Ive been a pharmaceutical rep for well over 20 years and visited thousands of doctors and nurses in my lifetime and you my darling are truely an angel! Amazing things lay ahead for you and I look forward to joining the community as well as seeing your friendly face around the property!

We’ve lived here for 8 months now and love it. It’s all super clean, the staff are all really kind and helpful. Some people have had issues with the maintenance but every issue we’ve had has been promptly fixed by fantastic staff. The location is also perfect, we recommend living here to all our friends. There’s lots of tenants who have lived her 10+ years and we totally see why.

STAY AWAYif i could give 0 stars i would. nightmare to deal with people who dont care about you once you move in... Maintainance was more proper than the main desk guy that worked there. The main guy litteraly rolled his eyes at my husband and I, when trying to deal with our moving out situation. deffinetly paid to break the lease on good terms because it was THAT bad. What was even worse was the company behind them who handled the payments for the moving out. that guy just belittled my husband for even handeling the situation and talking on the phone to people because i hate talking to people on the phone. my husband was just asking questions about why they were charging us for everything like Paint when we only lived there for a couple months. not even a single scratch on the wall. he was totally rude and stuff he said was uncalled for. ohh and their windows got super moldy and they just said it was our problem to deal with. sorry but if i could go back i would not rent anything from them.

BEWARE! I work at the hospital next door, went after work to view the apartment complex, the young lady was very knowledgeable on her 4 weeks on the job. She informed me about a 1x1 river view available in mid-August, she showed pictures of the non-renovated unit, and the manager interrupted and stated if you dont rent the unit today, it will be renovated tomorrow and you will pay 1450$, the application must be submitted by tonight or you pay 1450$!, he was very unprofessional. She handed me a quote for the unit until Friday (walked the unit on Wednesday night).Unfortunately, I was called into work and called at 0900 the following morning when the complex opened informing them I was completing the application, the manager stated the unit is now 1450$ and getting renovated, and he behavior was unprofessional. The next day, I received a phone call from the young lady stating, would you like to rent a non-renovated unit for 1200$?Due to the unprofessionalism of the manager, I would not recommend the complex to any of the staff at the hospital, traveling nurses, etc.I have already informed several people about my experience at Stonesthrow.

We have had nothing but issues since we have moved in. Apartment was not clean when we moved in after being promised it would be. The renovations are cheaply done and not fully functional. Plus, we have had a water leaking issue from rain for more than 6 months and it is still not fixed. It took 3 months to get someone to finally try to fix it, but apparently they hired inexperienced workers. So we have water in our apartment constantly. The maintenance team has never been able to resolve an issue on their own and they have always had to bring in someone different to fix the issues. Avenue 5 is by far the most unprofessional management we have ever dealt with. We stay here because it is a convenient location for us.

I am seriously SO IMPRESSED with this place. I moved in a couple months ago and Ive had some bad experiences with previous apartments so I was a little worried about starting again somewhere new but I love this place. The staff here is AMAZING, and honestly that matters more to me than anything else when apartment hunting. Everyone I have interacted with has been so professional and friendly and the staff are consistently going out of their way to provide excellent service to their residents. Our leasing agent, Marshall, was incredibly helpful and patient in answering all my questions about the apartments and community and every interaction I have had with management has been great. Our maintenance requests were fixed in 1 day and we got a personal email from the assistant manager, Ron, telling us that our requests had been completed and asking to make sure we didnt need anything else. The apartments themselves are very nice and the location is perfect. Minutes off of I-5 but far enough away that it doesnt feel too busy or loud and everything you need is less than a 5 minute drive away. Best apartments I have lived in. Thank you, Marshall, Ron and Eric!!

Lived here for 8 months. Outdated appliances. They charged us for things that were damaged upon move in and were marked on our move in checklist. We checked out with someone who conveniently lost the check out sheet, and he said everything looked good. We called the carpet people about how and why things might be charged to us. Everything that could go wrong did. DO NOT move here. These people are crooks. With so many other options in Tualatin, do yourself a favor and move in somewhere else. If even one person or family doesnt move in because of this review, my time spent here will not have been in vain.

Lived here for 1 year in a small one bedroom apartment and in my opinion it was a great deal for the price. The front office staff always had a positive attitude and seemed to genuinely care about doing a good job. The apartment had a nice view of the Tualatin river and didnt have any maintenance issues. There is easy access to central Tualatin via walking paths and the park near by offers plenty of easy hiking trails.

I have been at Stonesthrow about 6 months. It is the first time I have ever lived in an apartment situation, but I am only in Portland part-time now. I have only been provided with professional, friendly support from the office staff. When I mistakenly parked in a neighbors spot, he left a note letting me know I had parked in his place, and introduced himself and welcomed me to the neighborhood. People have been friendly and inclusive. My dog has been welcome, and there are well placed receptacles making it easy to keep things neat and clean. When I read some of the other reviews that have been written, it is hard to believe they are describing the same apartments that I live at now. I say.....come and see for yourself.

Ive only been here for 3 months but so far it has been a pleasant experience. Management is friendly and Maintenance responds in a timely manner. There were a small handful of things that didnt get repaired or put together properly before I moved in but it was all fixed very quickly the day I moved in. I will say that making payments online can be a little tedious due to the issues with their website, but any responsible person would double check auto rent payments so they can avoid any late fees. I got confused about when rent was due and got a fee, but management was very understanding and offered me a one time fee cancelation.Neighbors are very quiet, at least in the building Im in, and while parking isnt assigned unless you pay for covered spots, I can almost always find a space close to my apartment. Only thing I was a little miffed about was that I was not allowed to see the place before I moved in. A little pricey for a 1 bedroom but it is the Portland area.

So I was googling to grab the office phone number and saw these reviews. Theres a lot of hate for this place. Ive never had any problems here and all my neighbors seem nice even if were not friends at least we act friendly. This a very nice community and Ive been here a while now with very few complaints and the few I did have were attended to within a short amount of time.It is the Internet though and people only write reviews when their gosh darn furious. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

The pictures on the website are all of the more expensive re-furbished apartments. Most of them are still older appliances, carpet, cabinetry, and flooring. The units are overpriced given the low quality of the units themselves, but its somewhat near Portland so what can you do?

The worse experience my husband and I have ever had. We were told our move in date was May 31st. After contacting the apartments multiple times, they kept informing us that our apartment would be available by that day. EVEN THE DAY BEFORE. After moving our entire home in a Uhual, we showed up with the management confused as to why we were there. We informed them that THEY told us today, 31st, was the day to move in. They were confused as to why we were there. The apartment was not ready and was not going to be ready for another week. They explained they had a miscommunication and forgot to call us. And after asking and telling them that we did not have a place to live, they informed us that the only thing they could do was give us 200 dollars off of our rent. So frustrating. We could not believe how rude and unwilling they were to help us. I would never ever rent from the Rivercrest management company or Stonesthrow.

Lived here for 6 long years. Other newer residents seem to beloved they own the place, they complain to management constantly. My observation is the newer tenants do not understand that they live in a community, not a mc mansion. Full of overly nosey passive aggressive brats. I am out of here at the end of my lease.
