Brought my car in a couple weeks ago to have a tire patched. They call to tell me I need to replace the 2 front tires which were near ready for replacement but they pushed hard for replacement rather than patch. Ok, I agreed reluctantly. Next James Fox called to let me know the tires are done but also that they found $3,200 in repairs that need to be done. Mid way through telling me what I need I told him to stop. He started quoting items that have been done already by my mechanic.I went to the store and told James Fox he tried selling me parts that have been replaced. The guy first tells me that mechanic (Daniel Durocher) quoted without looking at the parts and was because of the miles on the car. I argued how do you quote parts that haven’t been looked at? Now he says Daniel (the mechanic) did look at it. I boxed him into a corner and he didn’t know what to say.I immediately took my car to my mechanic who told me a few interesting items. First none of the work was needed and he had in fact replaced some of the parts recently. Next he looked at the estimate and said on average he has about 5 customers a week come in after being at this Belle Tire with estimates like mine that don’t need to be done.I went to Belle Tire a couple years ago after Discount Tire on Rochester tried to take advantage of me. That Discount Tire is now closed. Jon was great! He is no longer at this location and the counter salespeople now seem to be on an incentive based and are selling work that doesn’t need to be done and at extremely inflated prices.Stay away from Belle Tire or at very least get second opinions! If anyone else had this experience and is interested in discussing a potential class action lawsuit please keep your estimate provided and respond to me.

Knowledgeable. Provided printout of multiple options to replace tires, didnt push priciest option, let me choose. Also discovered some other issues and provided service options. Acknowledged a warrant issue of a past service. Very professional staff.

Just experienced wonderful service and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! My daughter had a flat tire and the tow truck driver stripped her lug nut trying to get the tire off. We asked him to tow it to Belle Tire on Long Lake and Rochester in Troy and they took care of everything, even repairing her flat tire, for no charge. Five star service all the way.

Always helpful in a pinch, never charge me for fixing a leak or assessment, and super nice. Definitely grade A service!

I like this place because they do good work, but I am tired of the upsell and add-ons that they constantly try to push at this place. Everything they offer is with some warranty, or coverage plan that is not mandatory (and dont you know you always need a front end alignment.) They do not mention that there are options without the warranty or without coverage plan. If you dont ask about cheaper options you wont even know they exist. 30 dollars for warranty here and 50 dollars for an add-on there adds up. Belle Tire used to be better than this type of salesmanship.

Went in for what turned out to be a simple tire repair. They always greet everyone with a pleasant hello and a smile. A short time later I was handed back my keys and invoice. I looked over the invoice. How much do I owe you? I asked, fully expecting $20-30 for the service. Youre all set. What a wonderful surprise. These guys are great! (Later, I read that Belle Tire offers this service for free to all customers - what a great contribution to the community. Ill be back for my next round of tires!)

The Belle Tire on Rochester Road has always impressed me. I go out of my way to stop at the Long Lake and Rochester Road Belle Tire. I was assisted by Michael today. Walked in with a slow leak not knowing the cause. I was third in line and told they would help me as soon as possible. Yes in 40 minutes I was out the door. Personally I think that is impressive. Did I mention since I purchased tires through them it was no charge. When it was done he politely came up to me handed me a receipt with my keys and told me to have a great weekend. I was out the door. I’ve been purchasing replacement tires there for at least 25 years...always the same experience.

I had an alignment on my 1985 Dodge D100 and I had an issue with the initial alignment. I responded to a Belle Tire survey with my complaint. Val. the store manager, called me the next day and asked me to return to address the issue. I did so and Val and the technician addressed the problem to my understanding and satisfaction. I am glad I took my truck to Belle Tire. Thanks Val.

Biggest rip. U ever wanna get screwed? Come here. Will over charge u for everything. Do not go to this establishment. Charged 450 bucks for basically a hose replacement. I wanted to test them. Super sad

My wife’s car went dead at a nearby mall. I went and gave her a jump, but knew that there needed to be a new battery. It was a little under an hour before closing time at this Belle Tire. I called, came in and they took care of it immediately. Their customer CARE was phenomenal.There is little focus on the customer these days. To find a business that’s committed to the customer is refreshing. Great place and great service.

I had a tire with a sidewall leak, meaning that the tire could not be patched, it could only be plugged. After having to inflate the tire every week, I decided to get a new-used tire to replace it. I was informed that they could not replace a single tire and I would have to replace all 4 tires. The tires had some life left, but it was the beginning of winter so I thought might as well get it over with. So, I got 4 brand new mid-grade tires. Not the best, not the worst. So, after a few weeks, the tires started leaking. I dont know how bad my luck can be with tires? I have been back and forth to Belle Tire the whole summer getting my tires fixed. Now, the latest. I have a slow leak in one tire. I takes a week before it needs refilling. So, each time I tried to take it in, it was a 6-8 hour wait. I finally took the tire off myself and brought it in. This time, they fixed it in just a couple of hours. But, the very next day the tire needed refilling. I called and told them the problem and they told me to come in the next day. I tried to arrange a service appt, but they said First come, first serve. Brand new tires. I am back to the same position I was as if I never bought new tires. I buy new tires from them and this is they way I am treated. It sucks.

I went in because my control arm bushing was tearing. They said it was fine and it was my axle. Once I was done my car wasn’t running the same. Took it to another mechanic and they said my bushing was bad and I needed a new axle.

They charge me on stuff that I did not know was needed. And it cost me hundred dollar more :(They called me when they replaced it already. And mentioned nothing about the price. And when I went they put me on the spot. The item was tire sensor. I bought the tire and wheels and the alignment.

I have yet to be acknowledged when pulling up even though they advertise STAY IN YOUR CAR. They look at you like youre challenged or something. The one time I did get someone, he told me to check my own air pressure and went back to his stool. Not sure what has happened to Belle Tire. 🙁

Rochester/Long Lake is a fantastic store, great service.

I got new tires from there in February. I told them one of them keeps losing air and I have fill it once a week. They said it was because I needed something else completely unrelated to the tires themselves and refused to look at it unless I spent another $1350. They’re a giant scam and overcharge for everything.

I am truly impressed with the level of service I was provided with today. Not only the gentleman which happened to be the assistant manager (Tim) helped me out this morning, he opened the doors 15 minutes prior to opening due to weather conditions & was extremely pleasant. Thanks for your professionalism & I will definitely be back!

Took my vehicle at Belle tire, Troy..for the issue of losing air on front passenger side tire...waiter for 2 hours and they did not even inspect the vehicle properly...gave the flat answer that tires are worn out completely and this vehicle should not be on road and gave me quote of $1500 for new tires.....next day went to dealership for regular service and told them the issue of my tire ...they detected the nail in tire and repaired it and also thread life is 6/32...I will not trust the guys at Belle tire, Troy...they just want to rip you off and waste the time

Purchased Falken Wildpeak AT3’s for my truck. The installation was straightforward and the sales associate walked me through the price and was very communicative. The is the FIRST belle tire that hasn’t scratched the edges of my rim with their tire machines. Other locations always nicked my rims. I’ll definitely be back.

This time around service was great. Other times not so good. If you buy tires they will take care of you right away but if you bring in one of your own used tires to have it replaced, they will not give you first come first serve service, but they will rather take care first of those customers that are actually buying tires or doing repair work.

I waited 3 weeks to get dealer windshield glass, and once the crew arrived at my home, they got the damaged windshield. SO now, i have to wait another 3 weeks to get a new glass.

I went in thinking I need my brake pads changed ( haven’t had this car long) because the pads seemed a little soft. I brought the car in and was immediately greeted and was told not to worry that they would take a look at it. They checked out the car and test drove it and told me my brake pads were fine and that I still had 50% life left. They didn’t charge me anything, and reassured me everything was fine. Staff was very honest and helpful.

I like this store, the staff are professional and nice. 5 year ago, Val helped me ordered 4 snow tires and the experience was pleasant. This time Ryan helped and fixed my flat tire with a nail. Price is good and I will consider again for future needs.

I always use Belle Tire! Even if I have to drive past a Discount Tire or some other tire place. I was in the middle of my work day, I kept having my light turn on that my tire was low, I found the closest Belle Tire! I was miles and miles away from home and I know there is always a Belle Tire around! I got there, the gentleman that helped me was very nice. He asked me a few questions and then asked me to wait over in the lounge area. I was there less then 40mins, he came to tell me there was a long nail they removed and sealed the tire. He handed me my keys and a receipt and told me I was all set! No charge, no hassle...just quick service with a friendly face! Fantastic experience! Too bad this location is so far from my house

Great place for tires. Knowledgeable and cost effective. Good support afterward too.However theyll try and talk you into repairs you dont need. Last week they said I needed $1,963 in front end work. My master mechanic did everything for $174! He said once a week he gets people coming to him with the same story. Buy your tires from them only!

Prices are high and service has severely declined from the past. My husband has been returning to this store for MANY years despite non value pricing, because of the personal service. That’s gone now. Not sure if there is new ownership but friendly service is gone and no sense of helping a senior who has been coming to the store for many years buying tires for himself and his kids. My advice is to go to COSTCO. Do not buy here without checking prices at Costco. The previous small business service advantage is gone.

I recently had a great experience at this location. The guys squeezed me in at the last minute but still promised to get me out before they closed, and had the best attitudes even so close to the end of the day. They thoroughly explained what they did, and it was all covered under my tire warranty. I thought I would need a new tire but I ended up not having to pay a thing. I will definitely go here next time I have an issue.

***DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE***On Saturday morning (April 27, 2019) I called over to Belle Tire on Long Lake Rd & Rochester Rd.I described to Chase (in sales) that I may need a new tire on the passenger side of my Tesla Model 3. I physically brought the car in person about an hour later, Chase took a look from the outside, felt on the thread, and could not find anything wrong with this initial look. I told Chase that I thought itd be a good idea for him to ride passenger as I took it for a short little ride, so he can feel the vibration and noise coming from the back end of the car. The roads over in Troy are so bad that you couldnt feel the vibration nor could you hear the noise. At the point Chase looks over at me and says hey lets take it back to belle tire, well put it up on the hoist and spin the tires to see if theres anything wrong, no need to drive the car anymore because the roads are so bad you cant feel anything.We took the car back to belle tire, and Chase told me to get a ride and come back within 2 hrs, and that hed call my cell phone once the car was put up on the hoist and assessed. I gave him the key to the car, walked out of the belle tire, turned the corner and stood behind the store as I gave my brother a call for a ride.I turn to my left and I SEE MY MODEL 3 GOING 70 MPH ON LONG LAKE ROAD!!! I could see two employees in the car, neither looked like the Chase who had been helping me. I quickly became very angry and walked into the store, Chase standing behind the counter, yelling that I wanted my car back immediately. I asked him who took the car and he told me his manager on duty Val must have taken it, but I did not give him authorization to do so.I turn to my Tesla app and hit the navigation button on the app, and I see the Tesla speeding around Troy as if kids had just come across a sports car theyve only seen in their childish dreams. This despicable act by the so called manager on duty Val must be dealt with by corporate, he not only put my car at risk but also drivers on Long Lake Rd at risk as he sped 25 - 30 mph over the speed limit!!! WHY DID VAL TAKE MY CAR FOR A JOY RIDE WHEN MITCH SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE PUT UP ON THE HOIST?? WHY IS AN IRRESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUAL LIKE VAL THE MANAGER ON DUTY?? WHY HAS VAL YET TO BE REPRIMANDED BY CORPORATE ??***I brought the Tesla Model 3 to belle tire so the tire can be changed, not so two employees can take it around the block speeding down a 40/45 mph zone!!!***I want answers, and I want Belle Tire to know that neither myself, my family, nor my friends will ever bring a car back to any of your locations. You have lost our business forever. And thats a guarantee.

Very courteous and accommodating service. Price is half what i pay at the dealer. I was surprised they could repair my Jaguar XK. i THOUGHT THE DEALER WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD. Wow, Belle Tire is my go-to car repair destination.

Been using Belle Tire at 18 and Rochester for quite a while now, and Ive never brought a vehicle there that they couldnt fix! Ive purchased several sets of tires from them for multiple vehicles without any issues. The Assistant Manager Val is particularly helpful on advising me for servicing my vehicles.

Good tire store they do good work there are very busy so its best to drop off the car and pick it up and not sit there and wait for it because I have to have to order parts or whatever I like the personnel and the people panic seems knowledgeable and then okay I recommend it to anybody but its like any other place it needs to be your vehicle needs to be dropped off or call and make an appointment at a substance of the time its best in the morning but I give them a great overall rating

I bought a new set of tires from Belle Tire about three months ago. Today while driving around town, I experienced vibration through my steering wheel. (Thanks MI roads.) I wasnt able to get to the store until 5pm. Being late on a Friday I expected them to set up me up for an appointment on Saturday. Instead Tim told me theyd take a look at it and see what they could do. At 5:50pm, Tim called to say the front wheels were rebalanced and the car was ready to be picked up.What outstanding service. I highly recommend the Troy (Rochester Road) Belle Tire!

The Belle Tire 2 miles up the road wanted to charge me $20 a tire to mount, balance, and dispose of the old tires, called this one because I figured it might be a little different, without disposal they wanted $30. I have never been treated so horribly at a tire shop. Scott Amesse the assistant manger was very rude and unhelpful. If you don’t like your Job just quit. Save time and avoid this place.

The entire process of selecting, purchasing and installation of new tires for my 2013 Honda Accord could not have gone better. Ryan even suggested a different Tire than I had selected. Which turned out to be a better Tire..

The customer service was great. They were very professional. My new tires were installed as promised in the given time. Although, it took longer to wait. It was well worth it. They also price matched the tires from a competitor.
