Ah they are all about policy. Half hour waiting another half service. If you have time waiting by all means go. Guys are polite and respectful. If thinks go wrong and you have to come back be prepared to wait no skipping lines.So if your oil leak after first time change and you need to come back park as close to the car in front of you so you can show oil in the driveway.Only 3 stars because time and I think thats a policy issue. First time here and I followed the arrows to pull around to the back. No line but I didnt know I was supposed to park behind a car at one of the bays. They had one person helping a car that pulled in the wrong way so I was trapped. I pulled into a parking spot along the back wall thinking that when the guy was done he would help me. He never came to my car. He helped the other cars in line but never offered me assistance. I was trapped in the parking spot for 30 minutes untill enough cars moved that I was able to back out and just leave once the car blocking the exit had moved. How do you not see someone sitting in the car. You saw me pull in and park. Not great first impressions of this place.

I went for an oil change on my Honda CRV, and after waiting for 25 minutes, when no one was in front of me, I was checked for my headlights and turn signals on a new car… why, who knows…Then I was informed that they did not carry the conventional oil for my car, but synthetic or synthetic blend…reluctantly, as I had already waited for so long, I agreed to the synthetic blend for $70 which carries a 7000 miles next oil change. This oil was poured from a canister, through a funnel, with no labels to suggest it’s originality and the possibility/probability of picking up dirt along the way, risking going into the engine. As part of the service, my washer fluid was supposed to be topped off, but I was informed that they had run out 2 days ago therefore, they couldn’t do it, and no discount offered. The next oil change sticker was printed for 3000 miles and when I asked, the response was “ you can change the oil whenever you want, it is your car, but Valvoline only gives warranty for 3000 miles”, very, very rude to top it off…Rude, poor practices of oil change risking damage to the engine, poor inventory control, long wait times, non apologetic… list goes on!!! I will never go back.

The worst customer service that I have ever received in my entire life. Before even pulling fully in I knew I had made a mistake with my choice. The man I experienced was a short stocky dark haired man. He opened the door and as I tried to pull in, like a typical drive through oil change and the man had immediately scolded me like a child, when I proceeded with the oil change you could very clearly tell he hated his job and wanted me out of his way. Mind you, there was no line & there was one other vehicle in the bay. The first thing he said to me after scolding my attempt to be prompt was what do you need today and everything from there on was very robotic. An oil change is not a complicated thing, that’s why a ton of places offer the service in 10 minutes, I was so offended by the way I was initially treated that I refused any light or tire checks, only thing preformed was the oil change. After I refused the “extras”, the mans attitude seemed to change. Towards the end he was more polite, I’m sure he sensed my irritation with him. I will definitely not be returning to this place and will go back to use the Quality Lube next to my house. Not worth the drive to use this place.

Always very courteous and quick. Never feel pressured into adding extra services. They do a very good job explaining things. If you do need an extra filter or service, you know exactly what youre getting and why. Always keep an eye out on Groupon for a good deal!

When I was driving my daughter to Troy, I used to change the oil in this place with their previous owner. Today, I was again in Troy to watch my son’s playing with Divergent, and so I decided to stop.I did not know that it had new owners. Valvoline Instant Oil Service was very good and very professional.Next time, if I need to change oil, and I am in Troy, I will stop here again,

This place went from being my standby to never again. After getting an oil change oil leaked on my driveway. The guy was trying to sell me fluid changes that I didn’t need because “his computer recommended it.” I would rather take advice from a mechanic that actually looks at my vehicle than a computer. Magical Touch provided better service, vacuumed the interior and included an air freshener. Valvoline charges the same amount, but includes none of the extras. Maybe if my driveway was cleaned I might have a better review. Hint... hint...

Oil change was fine, but Joshua seems to think he doesnt need to wear a mask properly even though its been over a year and toddlers potty train faster than that. Wont be returning.

It changed a lot from the previous owners to this new ones. In a bad way. Over priced, condescending employees. Instead of offering a service, they try to sell whatever they can. Not going back and I hope whoever reads this consider other options.

They do exactly what theyre supposed to. They check your lights, tires and all fluids. Adjust and fill whats needed. Best of all they dont try to sell you stuff you dont necessarily need. Friendly and professional staff. In and out with the full service oil change in about 15 minutes.

First arrived with one vehicle in the building. I was the only one in line. Nearly 15 minutes later, they finished with that vehicle. 2 of the 3 bays were not being used. I can understand that if they were short of people. However, as soon as I pulled in, they opened another bay for another vehicle. I could have overlooked that, until they dropped the price on me. $89+ for an oil change for a 4 Cylinder car! I know, it needs synthetic. But even with my $25 coupon it was $15 more than the previous place I went to. So if you want to pay absolute highest price in the area, and you dont mind sitting in line when there are no cars in front of you, this is the place to go!!

I can change my own oil but the convenience of this place is amazing. I dont have to burn myself on hot oil, make a mess in the garage or driveway, and I dont have to worry about the disposal of the oil or old filter. Plus they give you a cool sticker, check all of your fluids, and tire pressure. They also offer other services like rear differential fluid, transmission, and power steering fluid changes.

I had an issue today where my tire pressure was too low. I work around the area and didn’t want to drive too far since my son was in the car. The guys in the garage took care of the tires for me and were so kind. I felt guilty about not getting/needing an oil change and coming in for a free service. They definitely did not have to do that for me and I appreciate it. When I do need an oil change I know where I’ll go.

Brought my car here for oil change and i had to come back 3 days later worried the car after 3 days was still dripping oil, i took it back and was told it was a new employee and didnt wipe down the plastic skid plate under the car.....

Absolutely the worst service ever they stripped every bolt holding my skid plates on they made it extremely obvious that they did not want to do an oil change on my hummer .. now I have to drill out all six bolts that they stripped... If you cant start a bolt in a threaded hole straight just ram it in with an impact wrench ... I seriously hope that everyone working that day has been fired ...

I brung my car in and got an oil change but they accidentally made a mistake, ended up fixing the mistake as well as giving me my money back which makes me know if they ever make a mistake, it’s not on you, it’s on them. They really are some of the brightest oil change techs (mistakes happen) but they really got on top of it and corrected this issue. Timely manner too none the less. I would recommend anyone that cares about their vehicle to only come to these guys because most times it will be fine but if they make a mistake, they make sure you still get on the road on time and without spending another dime.

Its a little more expensive than other quick lubes(a LOT more expensive than magical touch the previous owners) but the customer service is some of the best Ive ever experienced! I was in yesterday and while I was initially shocked and upset about the price they were quick to explain the price difference as well as WHY my vehicle required a synthetic oil(something i was completely unaware of) and even offered a discount on my bill- as a surprise at the end! The manager who was there was incredibly helpful throughout the entire service and made herself available for any questions I had. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and Ill definitely be back.

First time getting my oil change here! Everyone are so nice and every warm, they ask you if you want some water or something to drink. They always offer to vacuum your car for free, not to mention this place is very affordable!! Definitely coming back here! Keep it up guys!!

Not the same customer service I was used to getting at this location. The previous owners used to offer so much more and really cared about taking care of you and your car. These people just want to up sell everything to try and get as much $ out of you as possible. Its a shame and we went be going back.

Great service, friendly employees but definitely much more expensive than the Quick Lube that was there. A conventional oil change starts at $42 compared to $27/$28 dollars at Quick Lube. Plus Quick Lube had a loyalty program. For that price Ill be going to the dealership or another oil change company in the future. Theyre still at least $10 cheaper than Uncle Eds down the street but Uncle Eds has been overpriced for years!

Went today and found out it was under new ownership. The service was fine, but a bit more expensive than the old owner. I did miss the hospitality of the old employees. They felt more genuine. I will probably try looking for a new place. Wish I knew where the old owners went to.

So FAST and great customer service. All employees were professional and began working quickly. I sat in the lobby briefly while they vacuumed out my car free of charge. The oil change service was so fast and half what I paid at a competitor. The employees were upbeat and smiling and I never felt pressure to purchase anything extra. I am retracting my bad review and noting it as excellent customer service. The owner of Magical Touch in Troy called me on Saturday and we had a nice chat. This called showed me the length he will go to satisfy his customers. He honestly cares about his business, his employees and most of all customer satisfaction. After speaking with him I had to reconsider my bad review as one bad day by one person and give them another chance. After all, I tried them out because of their excellent reviews. The service guys who checked me in were great, but the oil change mechanic, who had no name tag so Ill refer to him as Dick since it suits him well. While changing my oil he did nothing but yell out F bombs complaining about my car through the entire process. He even had the audacity to look straight at me and continue with his F bombs. I paid $70+ for a full synthetic oil change to listen to Dicks rudeness and complaining. Very dissatisfied and if you have young kids, dont bring them along!

Ive been going to Magical Touch for a few years - instantly disappointed in the new owners from greeting(lack of), wait time, and price (almost double).The owners of Magical Touch were honest and trustworthy. I watched the new employees sell each person in the bays new filters, higher priced oil, etc. After waiting to be next in line for an extended amount of time I left. Will not be returning.

Great group of hard working guys. I was very impressed with their positive attitude and the teamwork amongst them all. Fairly priced services, cleaned and wet vacuumed the interior flooring of my Jeep and were very honest in their approach to show me the condition of my oil and air filter. The literally refused a tip from me (4 separate guys) and asked me to take time to write a great review if I felt inclined.... certainly will be back again!

Came in to get my brake pads and rotors installed. I was from out of town and I felt extremely comfortable letting the mechanics and Ivan do a great and thorough job on my car. Im a very picky person when it comes to my cars, normally I have them serviced at the dealership which I know is overpriced. But this time I was in a big hurry and I need to get my oil changed quickly. So I decided to go here because I often see very nice cars in the parking lot including a Bentley. So I figured if somebody who owns the place or goes here has a Bentley they clearly like cars so hopefully they do a good job.They did a very good job very quick and super clean state-of-the-art equipment nice people family-owned business will get all of my oil change is done there in the future.

I’m normally a do-it-yourself kind of guy when it comes to cars. I’m also very picky and treat my mustang like a child. I needed to get my oil changed and rather than go through the hassle myself, I decided to give this place a shot because I was already in the area visiting my Dad and I had a bit of spare time. I had heard a few good things about this place and my Dad had his oil changed here a week prior so I figured it couldn’t be too bad.Everyone in the place was nice but they were some of the most careless workers I’ve ever seen. Touching my new paint with oily gloves, being careless with tools near the car, etc. Granted my oil change was quick, it was very sloppy.I mistakenly took my keys into the waiting room with me and one of the workers came to get them from me so he could move my car into the lot when it was finished. I watched this worker walk back into the shop with my keys and try to throw them to another worker who was sitting in my car from about 15 feet away. He missed short and hit my driver side door. The worst part about the whole ordeal is that I clearly saw what happened, as the waiting room has windows into the shop, and when I confronted them after my service about the paint chip taken out of my door, they tried to act like it wasn’t their fault. The owner tried to brush it off saying “it’s an old 2002 mustang, the chip probably happened a few years ago or something”. They didn’t know that I had repainted every inch of my car about a month ago.After a bit of an argument I was offered a free oil change next time I come in. Needless to say I don’t think I’ll be taking that offer.

After a very short wait of about 4 minutes, the crew got me right in. They were all very professional and provided top notch service. Didnt up-sale me and even alerted me to a discount. Was on my way in a very short time!

If you’re ok with spending over $70 for a small SUV - this is the place to go. No communication or transparency on the services or costs. It was quite obvious they’ve receive the same reaction as mine when given the total. They are slower and less friendlier than the previous business, Magical Touch. Go elsewhere and spend half the $.

Very sad Magical Touch isn’t there anymore. They tried charging me $94 for an oil change when I used to get one for $40. The old employees were much more friendly and actually cared, whereas these people just want your money. I ended up going to another place because of how overpriced it is now.

Customer service was non existent, called multiple times and just kept getting ignored by the guy on the phone. Decided to just walk in at that point to get an oil change and they charge me double what I used to pay when Magic Touch was there. Will probably never come back and every time I pass this place on Rochester road I shed a tear knowing Magic Touch isn’t there anymore.

Ive been coming to Magical Touch Quick Lube for a few years now, and I honestly believe they are the best shop in Michigan. The entire staff treats you like family, they have a waiting area with snacks and water, and most important, they are honest and will not try to up sell you get your money. They built their reputation on trust and honestly, and it shows in their reviews.I recently received a quote from Belle Tire for quite a bit of work on my car, and the quote ended up to be roughly $1,400. I took the quote over to Magical Touch and he blew their price out of the water, taking care of me for under $1,000 no problem. They even dropped me off at work and picked me back up when the car was done! The best part is that we werent sacrificing quality because of price. After the work was done, they showed me the bad parts that were removed and then took me under the car to show me all the work that was done.If you get a quote for any car repairs, I highly highly highly recommend taking that quote to Magical Touch Quick Lube. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I just HAD to with my first time at Magical Touch. Customer service was outstanding and they had me on the road within 8 minutes. Kudos to Al for his friendly and positive attitude. Oil change was a lot cheaper than most places, facility was clean, offered great refreshments, and they even vacuumed my car and left an air freshener/coupon as a pleasant surprise. I have been going to this place for the items everyone has mentioned so far. They have a friendly staff and are willing to do additional things most others dont do and charge a reasonable price. One of the times I had gone they had did there normal checks and told me that they declared the tired from 42 psi to 36 since that was the standard psi. I double checked the tire and it recommended the 42 psi I had. Weird but oh well they didnt check.I returned another time but this time with an issue with my headlight. I asked if they could take car of it and was told we can check it and let you know if its the headlight or a wore issue before we do anything. I sat in the lobby and after about 20 minutes they had serviced two other vehicles and then mine. Pretty quick service! The light was operational and I was satisfied, although, it seemed a little too fast. The headlight was not easy to get to.Before leaving, I was told I should do a coolant flush, which was done about a year ago, since my coolant had water in it. Im pretty sure water can be mixed with engine coolant. Why else would they sell 50/50 mix? Again, a weird encounter.The next day, I turned my vehicle on and realized the headlight wasnt working. I was confused and began to investigate the problem. Opened up the headlight and realized the bulb was never changed. The man who worked on my car simply pushes in the bulb where one of the clasps were broken. There was no mention of a connectivity issue. I would have been happy paying them for the time but I was told a new light bulb was put in and hardly anything was done.If they are willing to take a shortcut here, what kind of shortcuts are they taking in the bay when working on oil changes, something a little less obvious to notice until its too late. Ive lost a lot of respect after that and Im not willing to return.

Was going to this place for the past two years and have always been satisfied. We waited in line today for over 30 minutes only to find they are under new ownership with Valvoline. Prices were over double what we are used to and did not have enough employees to deal with the line. Will not be going back.

This is hands down the best oil change experience I have ever had. Not only do they offerr an oil change at an amazing price but they also offer up a complementary vacuuming while you wait is a very nice waiting room with again complimentary candy, coffee, and water. The gentleman are extremely nice and seem to care. They were honest and did not over sell anything at all. At the end of my experience I went to pay and asked if i could leave a tip on my card or should i do it in cash. The gentleman looked at me and said the best tip you can give us is a review. I felt very weird not leaving the tip but the other guy reassured me that it is the best way to thank us!! I will definitely be returning for every oil change I need if not more. Got my oil changed here in less than 15 minutes. Reasonably priced and they also vacuum your car for free and include an air freshener. They give you a punch card per household to earn free oil changes as well. Small, clean waiting area with coffee and water.

What a great experience I just had with this exceptionally friendly staff. They took care of everything I could think of and treated me very well from one member to the next. Oil changed with high quality synthetic oil, checked all other fluids for me, lubricated all moving parts, plus gave me an idea of what needs to be done in the future. All 27 points of inspection were done, plus the fluids and filter were changed and they even shut off my engine warning light. Highly recommended A++ thanks

This is hand down the best overall Oil Change Company thats in the business. They are very polite, friendly, fast and overall good at their Job. Im very cautious when it comes to Oil Change place. You may think that is just an Oil Change and that true, its just an Oil Change, but the customer service that you get it to what makes the difference. They arent pushy, ( trying to get you to buy something that you dont need). This is the type of small businesses that we need that makes paying for service that you can do yourself all the worth the dollar you send.

No wait, decent price, and they vacuum your car while you sit in the tiny waiting room! Plus theres candy and water bottles in the waiting room. This time they didnt even pressure me to do more than change my oil! (They have recommended extra stuff in the past, but this time it was a perfect, no- pressure visit!)
