After losing my mechanic “Falls Auto” to retirement it has been a very hard journey to find a mechanic to match the service and knowledge that I once treasured. After several experiences with these guys I have to say that search is over. Today my Vans fuel pump went so I had my van sent to Gendrons pit stop. They received the van by 1:30 and had my van back to me by 5:00 with a new fuel pump and tank straps. I am more then impressed by the service I received. As a service business owner I know that I can trust these guys to keep me up and running As well as getting to my calls. I thank everyone involved at this shop for everything you guys do. 5 stars from me gentleman!!! Stand up job, thank you!

Your typical hometown, Andy Griffith and Gomer Pyle style, old fashioned garage. Hank is very knowledgeable and is a great person all around. When I am sitting in his office waiting for my oil change I almost feet like it was the good old days when my parents were younger (Im 39).

I Purchased a Honda Pilot with 98k miles, sounds great? I didn’t even make it out of Troy &lights came on- on dash. I immediately call Kevin who tells me to go home and come back when it’s convenient, I have a 60day warranty. I make a list of things mechanically wrong and reminders of what he told me he would do that was not mechanical. I returned 5x from over an hour away with him never honoring the warranty nor his word. I had to put a new engine in this pilot at 105k, a new transmission at 112k the exhaust sounded like a bumblebee less than a month after having the junk, it was the pilot ex-L w/ entertainment system, he never kept his word regarding replacing blown speakers so what I paid for could actually be utilized. There are a million more issues, this vehicle cost me a fortune! If I didn’t live so far and had a reliable enough vehicle at the time- I would have stood out front warning any potential customers. He is a liar, and a thief. I spent quite a bit of time in that garage waiting for my car that was never repaired as it should have been, during that time I learned all about his divorce his online “grinder” escapades, his love of cocaine and young men, I have absolutely no reason to not share, he clearly didn’t mind anyone knowing. I gave him every chance to make right his wrong and he chose to have no integrity and absolutely no regard for a business that I can only assume his father took pride in building. Honesty and integrity will always make you more money than being a sneaky dirty bag who deceives people out of money . No tears shed on the total loss of that vehicle. I purchased a much newer and nicer Toyota Highlander with 50k miles and have been amazed by the difference in my experience at a customer worthy dealership vs Gendrons. Negative stars are sadly not an option.

This place is the best mechanic shop in the capital district. They are honest and they do good work. They dont make up problems that dont exist. Wish i found them years ago.

A reputable, cost effective, knowledgeable shop. Hank wont suggest repairs that you dont need, and gets it right the first time! Matthew Roberts, Kevin doesnt work at this shop. Youre thinking of another business... Gendrons Pit Stop has the experience to tackle any and all of your automotive needs!!!

Gas station and repair shop. Great people, excellent know-how. Prices are reasonable. Dont sell cars, just repair them.

Kevin Gendron sold my elderly parents an SUV the transmission fell apart after 3,000 miles and Kevin doesnt care. He offered to repair the transmission for $3,000 plus tax! Shame on you Kevin for taking advantage of an elderly couple!
