I was a little late to my appointment, but they were understanding and got me in there pretty quickly. The guys working there listened to what I told them was going on with my truck. They got the tires on and alignment done for me. It wasnt to bad in the way of price. They did upsell me on warranty stuff but I couldnt figure it would hurt anything. I was there for a decent chunk of the day but my alignment was pretty wacked out of shape. They also reset the TPS in the wheels I put on the truck instead of telling me they needed replaced. Five stars. I will go back when I need new tires. I think the truck looks great now. I may be a bit biased though 😅

I have been into this store on 2 separate occasions since moving back to Troy. The men that work at this location are top notch. Most importantly they treat people with dignity and respect. Everyone is well mannered, and the most kind people you will find in anyplace of employment be it service, food, or retail in the city of Troy. 👍🏻

They were extremely busy when we dropped our vehicle off but they still said they would have ours done the same day. The technicians had to stay over a little bit to get our vehicle finished but they did it. Very pleased with the service and professionalism. Would recommend Tire Discounters in Troy.

I have a 2011 Ford F250 super duty 6.7 diesel. It takes 13 quarts of oil. I had them do an oil change and they only put 12 quarts in. I know its not a big difference, but its the principal thing about it. 1 quarts might not matter in this situation, but it would in a smaller vehicle. I went back in and asked them about it and they swore up and down they put in 13. So when all said and done I had to add a quart when I got home. Even the bill said 12. I have never had an issue with this place but for some reason this time it was BAD service. This is why I like to do my own oil changes.

I purchased tires through Tire Discounters and was satisfied with that experience. Unfortunately, I continue to have problems with my TPS sensors where I have gone to them more than I should have to to get them replaced, were talking a handful of times in the past couple years alone and I havent driven the car that much. This makes me believe they arent actually fixing the issue and are willing to cover up problems with bandaids.I had another experience where I was waiting in line for close to an hour, only one person was working the counter, I was the next person up and there were others behind me, and when it finally came my turn, I was told they wouldnt be able to help me that day. Waiting in line is not a problem, what is a problem is employees continually looking into the main store and seeing a line and the need for help, but not coming to help. I watched these employees and they werent doing anything that would require them to stay in the shop. Also. Ive been in enough to know who can or has manned the counters previously and the individuals I was watching were them. I admit, I came in later in the day but I wasnt in for something that would have taken long.What kept me going to them? They installed my tires, so I wanted them to fix the issue.I dont think I will go to Tire Discounters again and I would be concerned with getting anything repaired by them. I wish that wasnt the case but that is how I am feeling. Im writing this as I sit waiting to get two TPS sensors replaced, albeit at a different car shop.If you do continue to choose them for your tires, I wish you the best of luck and hope you have a better experience with them than I had.

I have always purchased my tires and had minor car repair done at the Troy location since moving to Troy in 2004. I have always had a good experience with the tires purchased, however the last few times I have experienced an increase in the amount of pressure to get additional work done besides what I came in for. The last time I received a call telling me that I had serious issues with the rear breaks, to be specific, I was told the caliper pistons were froze and I would need to replace the calipers, rotors, and pads......close to $1,000......I declined and took it to my mechanic and after $150 for replacing the parking break cable they told me all else as in good order and I still had 50% life left on the pads. I don’t think I will be returning

They got me in on short notice at the end of the day but did not have any real selection for me except the higher priced tires for A common size.Also I was asked if I wanted the road hazard protection but said no and was charged anyway which I didnt have time to go over the book of paperwork that was given to me because they were closing shop. The last part is why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 and I highly doubt Ill be able to get my $88 back. This is also the reason I dont trust shops to work on my vehicles charging for things that I did not request or said no to but then being charged anyway and in some cases getting shoddy or no work at all.(UPDATE) Come to find out with A flat tire they charged me for new valve stems but did not put new stems on. Thank you for making me feel stupid because your ineptness got in the way of doing your job!

Took 4 tires to the Troy locations to have them install and balance 4 new tires last year at this time. Seemed to be decent enough. Sold my car to my neighbor because she needed a vehicle for her and her twin autistic boys. She got a flat and had to buy a used tire to get by. She took the car in for an alignment only to find that the bad tire and the other front tire were not the right size tires. She took it back to Troy only to be told they cannot do anything. I beg to differ. I paid for 225/55/18...not 2-225/50/18 and 2-225/55/18....So tell me again how there is nothing that can be done....The final kicker that is forcing me to make a claim in court is that the GM told her she should make it a habit to check her tires when she gets new ones put on at Tire Discounters...Nice to know they dont trust their own people to install correct tires...Everyone will have good and bad experiences at places...This one...was bad

We had an engine failure traveling on I-75, 300 miles from home. All of the staff were so friendly and professional, and they went above and beyond to help us in our situation. Kevin especially went above and beyond, ensuring we had a ride to our hotel and to the dealership where my vehicle was being towed after its initial check at TD. Would highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly. Had a flat tire and needed new tire ASAP. Called and they gave me a quote and agreed to fix tire by 6pm. Picked up car and paid exactly as quoted, with no pressure to buy anything extra (even though my car needs work) and out the door with no hassle. Would recommend to anyone and plan to return to have other tires replaced.

My tire was starting to shred. This could easily have been tragic and stressful, but Tire Discounters turned it into a very positive experience. They got my car in, no appointment needed and were able to put four new, balanced and aligned tires on, plus do a very necessary oil change while we waited. They have a comfortable seating area with a tv and refreshments while you wait for your vehicle, or you can drop it off and come pick it up at your convenience later in the day. While we were waiting, one of the workers came out, put on a fresh pot of coffee and was so friendly. They were very busy yesterday, phone calls and people coming in constantly, but youd never be able to tell with their fast, friendly service. We called on the 7th and made and appointment for today. The man we spoke to said he would order the tires and have them there by today. Here’s today and our tires are not there. Then the manager Brad tried up charging us on every service! He was trying to make us pay over $100 more than we were originally quoted. It was obvious that we were being discriminated against whether it’s because we’re women or our sexual orientation, and that’s not ok. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on, and will recommend the same to everyone we know and connect with.

Was told our car was going to be a $2000 fix! Took it to Grilliots in Greenville and it was $497! Hmmmm pretty big difference for the exact same fix! Dont trust them people!

I have been searching for an honest and trustworthy mechanic in Ohio since I’ve moved here. Tire discounters exceeded my expectations not only today yet the two other times that I have come to their establishment. Truly honest good people who care about the safety and dependability of your car. Including the best prices around! They do their best to work with you and make it as affordable as possible. Not only were they extremely informative in reference to what was wrong with my vehicle. Yet, they also showed me where the problem was coming from and how to go about fixing it. The whole staff was so friendly and makes the wait comfortable. Ive never had a better experience and will refer everyone in need of maintenance or repair to them. Finally my search is over and I most certainly will not take my vehicle anywhere else!

Things went very well here with immediate and professional conduct. I had been at a competitors facility just before but they wanted me to schedule an appointment even though all their service bays were empty! Ill be back here with all my future needs.

I always find that their prices and tire services are better than the competitors. Im a loyal customer and trust the mechanics and staff. If you can it is better to call for an appt just out of respect for the crew, but theyre always happy to take the walk ins too!

These guys are great! Called cause one of my tires wasnt holding air. They took me right away. When they found it wasnt repairable due to a nail in the side wall they didnt just expect me to take their word for it they brought me out and showed me where it was and explained why they couldnt patch. They didnt have my exact tire in stock and since it was a Friday they wouldnt be able to get one in until the following Monday if ordered so they called around to their other locations and found my tire and made a special trip to get it. Even with them going to the other location to get the tire they still had me out the door in a few hours which I was so grateful for since I had 2 of my young kids with me. Then to top it all off they charged me less than quoted because they were able to get a sale on the tire. That was just a cherry on top of an already great experience! So friendly and just a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be going back with any of our future tire needs. Being a woman I feel like there are a lot of shops that have tried to take advantage of me thinking I dont know anything...this was NOT one of them! Great work!

The store did everything that could to get me up and running, correctly and safely after a brake issue was discovered during the installation of 4 new tires. Lead technician Kevin Balbier is awesome! First class service and went above and beyond to get me on the road, even directly notifying me when my part arrived the next day. I will be going to Kevin from now on! Store Manager Brad held to his word and got me in and out the next day without issue! Great job to the team!

I made three phone calls today to find a replacement tire that my girlfriend flattened by running over god knows what. Not only did the guys at tire discounters have the best prices, they also didnt try to upsell based on knowledge that i statistically didnt have. They were also able to change it last minute with about 10 minutes of a phone call as notice and still were able to change it in less then an hour and the man at the counter apologized for having to wait so long because he only had one guy changing tires at the moment. Tire discounters were courteous, truthful and got the job done beyond my expectations. They have my business for the foreseeable future and i would recommend there service to friends and family whose safety and security mean a great deal to me.

These guys are always on point oil changes tire rotations all my maintenance on my vehicles they even did it a leveling kit, IE a minor lift its raised my truck 2 and 1/2 in for only four hundred bucks thats amazing and stand behind the work. I dont take my trucks or cars anywhere else these guys are on fleek!!! Fatty out!

I have two 1 star reviews. One from my dad. Dads truck needed an alignment. Brought it there in perfect working order. When he went to pick it up he touched the gear shift and it fell. They broke the linkage in the gear shifter and absolutly refused to claim they did it. Almost a fist fight over such pathetic customer service. The key was bent. And to top it off, instead of pulling to the left it now pulls to the right. So it needs a PROFESSIONAL alignment still.My review and experience is they dismounted and mounted and balanced two tires on my truck which is a dually. They did that part well. But when they did my alignment it drove straight the first time I drove it. The second time it pulled the left and my linkage for the ignition switch was broke. Needless to say, neither of us will EVER use another tire discounters. Neither so will we recommend them. Ive never dealt with a business that was so dishonest.

Great experience. Took a while to repair my flat tire but thats because they were busy. Surprised that they did not charge me for the repair. Left them 20.00 bucks for pizza. Also observed an employer tell a customer that he didnt need all 4 tires replaced even though the customer asked for 4 tires. They have my business. Good guys.

I called for tires on my Town and Country because it needed them. Well turned out I needed brakes which any other time in my life would have been no issue but I couldn’t get the tires off. So I called and they provided me with the greatest service imaginable. Not only did I get a great deal on tires but they also put the brake parts on I had purchased( for a fee of course) but this day the guys at Tire Discounters Troy Ohio really saved my butt and after this experience I will say that I will go there for all of my vehicles needs. Great friendly service! I came in for 4 new tires for my wifes Dodge Journey and they got done a lot quicker than I expected. They offered another service which I declined and they went back to work. On are way home from vacation we heard a loud noise coming from under our car. We found Tire Discounters and they got us right in found the problem was just a loose heat shield and removed it for us and didn’t charge us. I would highly recommend them for any auto needs.

I buy all my tires here, but I may be rethinking that approach. I called today for help. Randy in Troy wasnt helpful at all. He wouldnt look anything up. And I spent over 800 bucks on tires for the Tahoe. I picked up a nail and need my tire fixed. But he wouldnt help me figure out the mileage for the last time I rotated the tires. He said dont you have your paperwork. Its every 5k miles.. hazard would be on your paperwork. I was thinking if its due I will get that done to while I am there for 2 to 3 hrs.I made an appointment last time for Saturday 9 am. I was there till 1130 for a tire rotation. Took forever..an appointment doesnt mean you get seen at 9Meanwhile I still have a nail in my tire. And I am going elsewhere for my repair.I have 3 vehicles of my own.

I just stopped to get air in my tire. They filled it for free and I was on my way.Also, when I need new tires, or an oil change, they treat me right. This is the only place I will go for tires.

They was really nice to me and help me with my car. They changed my oil and rotation of my tired for me. Also they looked at the brakes and told me that I will need to take it to a car dealer to get them fix. So I will send my family and my friends there to get there car look at. I would rates this place a five star.

Had 4 new tires put on my Mercedes, they were very professional and extra careful with my wheels, would definitely go back in the future.

My mother had an appointment to have her car tires rotated. Four hours later.... FOUR hours later.... she was still sitting there waiting for them to finish. They had done every other car in the lot for their male walk-in customers while she sat and waited. They all got their cars done in less than an hour and a half. She asked them why she had to wait so long despite having an appointment and they told her “That’s just the way things are around here.” Well if that’s how they operate their business then I want no part of their “services”. She has been a customer with Tire Discounters for many years, but after this I’m going to see she goes elsewhere. What a POS way to run a business, boys. Treat your long-term-patron women customers better!!!

I brought my car in for 2 new tires. I was created with great service. My car is running better, smoother, agree about a year of wobble and shaking. But it was more than that. I brought in my 3 hyper kids, one who is autistic. They were so kind to them and didnt give weird looks or treat them negatively. They talked to them about the car and was fine with the circles my kids crawled around their tires and rims. My kids only stopped when more customers came in and I asked them to stop.

These guys are INCREDIBLE!!!! My husband and I were in the middle of a 9 hour drive and we got a flat tire on 75 north at about 6:30. This place closes at 7, but they stayed until we were able to get there to repair our tire and get us back on the road. You cannot put a value on that kind of customer service!!!

Then William McCoy did the work on my car and gave me an honest run down of what else my car needs to keep me safe on the road. I was running behind and needed a ride to see my Dr. and my car wasnt finished so Kyle happily gave me a lift to the Dr. office! These men were AWESOME and treated me like family! I talked with someone on the phone in Cincinnati to order and schedule for the Troy, OH store. They ordered the wrong tire size, I wasted 2 hours of my work day driving, waiting, and driving back. No appology. No offer to get the right tires ASAP. Very strange.

Brought our truck in for tires initially. We knew the truck needed serious front end work done and they were able to do all the work at a very reasonable price. Once the truck was complete, the wheels looked different. I called and talked to Greg, the general manager. He invited me up to look the truck over. Never once making me feel like I was somehow wrong or crazy. Once I got here, they took care of any questions, or issues I had. Customer service and quality work is on point here!

My car has different sized tires on the front and back - wider tires on the back and shorter narrower tires on the front. They put the back tires on the front and vice versa. I took it back and told them to fix it and be sure to correct the tire pressure, as they had the different size tires inflated to each others recommended pressure. When they brought my car out I asked directly if they corrected the tire pressure. They said they did and I was good to go. I went to the nearest gas station and verified - THEY HAD LIED RIGHT TO MY FACE!!! How can you trust someone with your car who is willing to lie like that?!?UPDATE:Dont believe the BS reply below from Tire Discounters. I sent them my contact information as requested, but never heard back from them. Its just more lies.
