I have been to Impres Salon twice. I went to different stylists each time. I asked simply to have the back cut straight across and the bangs just trimmed. The first stylist decided to “texture” the back by cutting 5 or 6” pieces out. I went back a second time, because of a second visit discount and I saw a different stylist. The second stylist decided the bangs weren’t wide enough. She cut off pieces on each side that I specifically asked her not to cut.So it is clear to me if you want to let them decide what your hair style should be it’s a great place to go. If you want them to cut it how you want go somewhere else!!!

I had a cut and color with Brittney, the color was a bit off, so she offered to fix it... thankfully it has balanced out with a few washes as she thought it would. Ive been trying to find someone who knows how to cut my obnoxiously fine hair, for over a decade. Brittney listened to me, gave me exactly what I asked for and I am so happy with it!

The staff is professional, talented, and friendly - going out of their way to make sure youre happy with their service. The salon is very clean and stylish, and the location is super convenient with dedicated parking.

I have been absolutely impressed by Impres Salon. Having moved here from downstate I tried several salons and was very disappointed. Impres was clean, friendly and cost wise on par with previous hair salons. The stylists are knowledgable, creative and excellent at satisfying your requests. During this Covid time, I was VERY IMPRESSED to see they are (per state law) requiring masks for everyone, practicing social distancing and sanitizing constantly! I have read multiple articles as to how these practices are drastically reducing the spread of covid around the world, and I am so thankful to be able to go to a salon and feel so comfortable during this time! 5 STARS and highly recommend this salon!

Teresa Cavanaugh gave me an incredible facial today, so relaxing! And shes a great masseuse and pedicurist also. Everyone in the salon is friendly and professional. Theyre dedicated to providing their guests with an awesome experience!

My Mom, sisters & I went for a 3 hour spa package and it was absolutely wonderful! It was a new experience for all of us and we all loved it! The staff was all nice and they made us feel very special through out the whole experience. My favorite part was the facial. We all want to plan our next spa day soon. :)

I came in with a very specific haircut in mind and the staff did a beautiful job giving me exactly what I was looking for. From the relaxing shampoo by Mark to the lovely layered cut by Grace, Im happy to say I had a wonderful experience! Thank you!

I highly recommend this salon if youre looking for a massage, or a facial, or any other treatment. The atmosphere is relaxing, and everyone is friendly and accommodating. I just had my first facial and will absolutely return for another!!However, It was supposed to be a surprise. But they called my cell, rather than the other number they have, so this caused some confusion. So if youre giving anything as a gift, just make sure you have the appropriate email and phone number for reminders and phone calls.

Wonderful pedicure with Kristen followed by a hot stone massage with Teresa. Absolutely marvelous! Staff is so nice. The place is beautiful. Personally, I think it was a much nicer experience than going to one of the resorts and paying 2x as much. Ill be going back!

I am in-between salons so I stopped in here for a cut and color with Katie yesterday. She did a phenomenal job and there were so many pampering extras...hand and arm massage and she cleaned my wedding rings which sparkle like new. It was a great experience, I highly recommend the salon and Katie.

I looked for a year, after moving to the area, to find a good stylist (I wasa stylist myself many years ago) and had a few disasters before findingBrook at Impres. She is very good at what she does, full of ideas but notpushy. She restyled my hair last week and I am thrilled. All of the rest of thestaff are lovely too ~ friendly and professional.

I loved that they squeezed me in last minute. I was not happy with paying $22 for 10 mins of nothing. :( she couldnt even get my gel nails off. Pricey for nothing. Never again.

I have gone 3 times now for the massage and each time it has helped enormously to reduce my pain. Ive had back surgery and damage from a rare bone disease, so I was worried at first that it wouldnt help. Im happy to report that not only has my pain been reduced, but my range of motion has greatly improved. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

I recently moved to Traverse City and have been commuting every few months to my hometown in Bay City to get my hair done by the stylist I have been with for the past 20 years. I have finally taken the leap, after much research, to find a salon that could satisfy my picky taste when it comes to my highlights (foil).I have to say, Impres Salon exceeded my expectations!! first of all, I was taken on a full tour of the salon. I was then provided with a lemon ice water and taken to the area where they do color. Micaela was my stylist and she was OUTSTANDING, to say the least! She made me feel very welcome and comfortable by quickly engaging in conversation and providing details about the products she was using along the way. She also introduced me to a massage therapist who gave me a wonderful arm and hand massage (on the house) while they cleaned my wedding ring for me and a nail tech that gave me a quick lesson in shellac nails. Not to mention the warm towels that were placed on my neck while I reaped the benefits of a skull and neck massage as the conditioner was setting in.I would HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone who wants a little pampering at a super reasonable price!!!

Amazing, personalized service at this salon! I got a facial here in Spring 2013 and loved it so much I also had to stock up on a few of their Darphin products. But the best part is that I just placed a call into them today asking if they had any availabilities for a massage or facial - Same Day. My sister is in town and needed some emergency help in unwinding before the holidaze. They pulled a few strings (stating it wasnt something they normally did at all but were able to help in this case) - and I was SO impressed. The girl I spoke with on the phone could not have been nicer or more helpful. FIVE STARS.

Horrible experience got extensions done had to go back because they werent done right the first time, then after spending 400.00 dollars they fell out after 2 weeks and my own hair is now messed up from the stylist thinning out my hair to blend with the extensions. Contacted them and never heard back. One of my worst salon experiences
