The ladies were nice but, they cut up my cuticles. And all my nails are different shapes. I don’t think they knew what they were doing. Not a big fan at all. And for the quality, I don’t think it was worth the $50.

I really enjoyed this local, quaint, family owned business. I am in town for vacation and due to covid-19, I have not had a predicure in way too long. On Sunday at 10am I called the store to hear what the hours were. The phone when to voicemail, so I hung up. 2 minutes later, the owner Ann (or Anna) called me back. She started that they were by appointment only, opened Sunday at noon, and could get me in at 1pm that day.I showed up to find this nail salon in a building of other professionals (chiropractor and property manager). The place was small, 3 nail tech seats and 3 pedicure station. There was one customer in the far pedicure chair when I arrived. They asked me to wash my hands, there was a health check station at the front (table with thermometer, hand sanitizer, and safety precautions). One nail chair seemed to be open as it had a plexiglass partition and the 1st and third pedicure chairs were open with added plexiglass for safety. Anna and Richard both wore masks the whole time, the sign on the door indicated I needed to wear a mask (& I did), and they cleaned each chair well after each client.As for the pedicure, Richard was great. My feet were in bad shape. He took his time, was respectful (I was embarrassed how bad they were), he was nice to chat with, and he gave a nice hot stone massage (included in the price). There was the soaking, clipping, fileing, sugar scrub, mini massage, and hot stone massage all from Richard. Then Ann came and painted my toes. She was quick and efficient. She checked with me twice about my satisfaction of the pedicure. I was able to dry my toes for a few minutes (on a small stool with a small table fan, the only criticism I have), but the paint job was great work. I was done within an hour.Great service for only $28. Nothing fancy, just good music (Richard even sang/hummed to the classic songs), quality pedicure, and hard working locals. I will definably come back here for another quick mom relaxation appointment.

My sisters and I had a wonderful experience at Lotus. We were in Traverse City for a girls’ weekend, and chose Lotus for pedicures based on reviews, prices and services offered. We were not disappointed! The nail techs were professional but friendly, they took their time to deal with problem areas, gave great hot stone massages and were careful with their work. The salon is clean and cute with comfortable massage chairs and fun music. It was the best pedicure I’ve ever had! I would highly recommend Lotus.

Great place! Family owned, small shop. Not ideal for huge parties. I like to go there because its usually quiet and there are only a few people in there at a time. They always have relaxing music on. Great quality work at a great price. Cant wait to go back!

What a excellent experience! We are from out of town and called several other places that could not take us in but Lotus nails invited us right away. Enjoyed our mani/pedis while listening to classic French smooth spa music. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a pleasant experience at a good value.

So I called yesterday, on behalf of my girlfriend, and was told by the employee here “we do walk ins started at 1230pm tomorrow afternoon”My girlfriend and I pull up at 1245, no cars in the parking lot, no lights, no open sign, locked door.We call, the same woman tells us to come back at 245. We drove 45 minutes from glen lake to come here. So unprofessional. Not only that, but look at the business ? It’s the absolutely most sketchiest place I’ve ever seen. Do not waste your time. We ended up going to TC nails a few miles away and are so happy with their services. Go to TC nails, do not go to lotus.

I got a mani pedi here. The prices are reasonable and it was clean. The pedicure overall was pretty good. The hot stones are great, the guy took his time and was very gentle. Other than the fact that my feet still had rough spots as soon as I walked out, that was fine. The manicure was not though, it was very rushed. She literally had me to to the chair for pedicure halfway through the manicure and then came to put polish on my hands during my pedicure. Also, I forgot my cup after I left, and texted them right away saying I would pick it up later that week. I came back only 3 or 4 days after my appointment and when I asked for my cup, all I heard was its not here. She said she would call me when she brought it back. I texted her about 5 times, no response. I would not recommend going here.

The lady wouldnt even let me in the door. I asked if they were open since she was standing in the walkway - you see the open sign dont you? What do you want?If you had time for a full set?We dont do that.. then sent me on my way.What...?...

Went with my daughter. Special date with her as she is getting married in 2 weeks. We did a manicure and pedicure. She felt rushed with her pedicure. The gentleman I had was awesome. He took his time and I felt relaxed until the owner did my manicure while i was getting my pedicure. That was not cool.Not sure if i would go back.

They do an excellent job on a pedicure at a reasonable price. I have been a repeat customer over the years and always appreciate the attention and care they give to my feet. It is a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Best foot massage/pedicure Ive ever had by far!!! Was skeptical at first, very small place and 1st time a Male gave me a pedicure, left feeling bad I was so skeptical. This gentleman was just that, and he massaged my feet better than any massage therapist has, even broke out hot stones. He took his time was very thorough, very sweet, and really knew what he was doing. I would have come just for the foot rub!! Came here on a whim, will definitely be returning.

I went in today with my mom and my aunt to get our nails done for my wedding and had a great experience! The prices are very reasonable and the shellac French manicure I got was just incredible :) my aunt and my mom also had a beautiful job done! the staff was also very inviting and pleasant! I will be going back again for sure...the atmosphere was relaxing as well... I would surely recommend them to everyone!

A really lovely experience! Called ahead for three of us for pedicures on a Sat morning and they were able to accommodate us later morning. Intimate, relaxing space and the pedicures were exceptional. Cant beat their price around TC for this service. Massage for the feet and legs with a hot stone massage for the feet, too! Nice location with easy parking located right out front. We will definitely be back again!

Such a tiny nail salon, but my friend and I enjoyed our experience. We both got pedicures ($24 each, good price!) and the staff was friendly. And by tiny salon, I mean only 3 pedicure chairs and 3 manicure tables, and only enough real estate to house those! They also only had two people working (we went on a Saturday afternoon).

Im staying in Traverse City for a month. I found Lotus on line. It was a wonderful first visit. I had a manicure and pedicure. The leg and foot massage was the best Ive ever had. The owner and her staff were so friendly and experienced. I highly recommend Lotus Spa.

This is a great place to get a pedicure for $25. While it is no Grand Traverse spa. I couldnt ask for more. Very clean, the owner and employees are kind, concientious and efficient. I will be back and recommend my friends visit as well.

Great, super sweet people. Its a nice, cozy set-up, with just 3 stations each for nails and pedicures, so it feels more like a boutique - very personalized...I love that its not your typical nail factory with overhead lighting and 30 stations. You can actually go here and relax.The service itself is wonderful. She worked miracles with my nibbled nibs and the acrylics look real! Due to illness, I had to go with a 14-day stretch before my first fill and not one tip fell off, which was a miracle considering how little she had to work with.Pedicures - A few months back, I did a pedi with Richard. He is so kind and did a great job. The polish job lasted a long time. I need to schedule with him for another.

My friends and I went to Traverse city on vacation. And we noticed that we need nah paddys. We found Lotus Nails. We called and were taken right away. The salon was very clean and the staff was very sweet. The pedicures included hot stones. It was SO very well done.Mani-Pedis looks outstanding

Vet told me to keep my cat inside he is probably gonna die. Could not even read the xray... after taking him to a specialist turns out he got sick at crossroads and his heart was fine. This vet almost had me put my cat to sleep!!!

I went in for a mani-pedi with a friend. They were extremely rough on my cuticles, didnt soak my fingers at all, very hurried, and overall was a really disappointing experience. Dont waste your time or money on going here.

Great little nail salon - clean, cute, and the lady who does your nails is very thoughtful and sweet. Its $10-12 for a manicure with regular nail polish. Such a nice place!

Pretty good prices, but they were way too rough with my cuticles, one started bleeding. Then they tried to say I brushed it too hard when using their super soft nail brush to get them clean before painting...but it was definitely her pulling my cuticles off that did it. Pretty sure youre just supposed to push them back, not cut them off, but Im not a pro...I know theyre not supposed to bleed though.Also used too much polish on my thumb so it has a weird raised part on the outer edge. They kept kinda pushing my hand into the drying lamp so the edges of my tips kept bumping the back of the machine inside (I can put my own hand in the lamp, thanks) so they dont have the paint on the edges now, so the manicure might not last as long as it should...next time Im just going to spend the extra $10 or whatever to go to a different salon. I see a lot of good reviews for this place which is why I tried it, combined with the cheaper price. Maybe the lady was just having a bad day, she seemed rushed and not really there, answered her phone for some not-work-related calls twice while doing my nails.
