I purchased a Braun Conversion Van from Clock Mobility in November of 2019. The following May when I turned the AC on it blew hot air. I drove and hour and a half to Clock and they confirmed the AC was not working.Clock made me take it to my local Chrysler dealer for a pressure check to see if it was a Chrysler or Braun Conversion problem. I had surgery in June and was not able to get it to the dealer until August. There was a leak around the rear axle where Braun had rerouted the AC line. Braun would not pay the dealer to fix but took it to Grand Rapids for Clock to repair. AC worked fine when I got it back in September but when I went to turn on in May it blows hot air. Again Clock wants to take it to Grand Rapids to repair so I have to find someone to drive me 90 minutes to Traverse City and 90 minutes back to drop off and pick up van or $89 a day for a week to rent a van with a lift - and wait another three weeks plus a week for repair. Will pay the dealership a $1000 to fix - my feelings are when you spend $63,000 for a handicapped accessible van you should expect the AC to work . Will not deal with Clock or Braun again.Addition to above review - Chrysler dealership confirmed the leak was round the rear axle - same place as the year before. I also found out that Clocks maintenance repair rate to rent a van is $79/day - Clock Mobility in Traverse City quoted me $89/day and the earliest they said they could take my repair was June 24 and my wife had a medical procedure scheduled for June 25 and a wedding on the weekend. Since that was not an option I was told July was the earliest they could schedule me for repair. My wife has numerous health issues and the first week I would have to go without the van for a week would be the week of August 22 so I would have gone through a second summer without air conditioning. I had the dealership do the work, paid for it out of my own pocket and will write it off to my mistake of ever dealing with Clock Mobility. I consider this warranty work not maintenance repair and to be quoted more than maintenance repair rate says all you need to know about Clock Mobility.
In order to comment I had to put a star but I would say negative 5 stars. The guy that is supposed to welcome you in is not friendly and looks down on the low-income . I need a wheelchair van for my husband and I and he treated us let we were vermin. Never would suggest this place to anyone. Ever.
Clock mobility is outstanding. They really cater to all sorts of needs for all kinds of people with different disabilities. Always they are very kind and helpful. Thats the only place wed ever go!
Efficient and professional, they do great work!
