The Amazon fulfillment center tour is really nice. The guide takes us through most of the receiving, order processing and shipping.Theres very limited opportunity for taking pics.Its an hour long tour, which started on time.

Definitely do not recommend night shift. Too much favoritism. Workers get treated differently from others. Others get privileges too just because they are a favorite. This is an unfair workplace.

Absolutely a great tour of an automated warehouse. Guides know their stuff, a little hard to hear sometimes but it is a working warehouse for 24/7 hours/days per week. Fun to see the various robots in action. A totally safe and interesting tour.

Decent management and training, generally positive coworkers. Plenty of break rooms and restrooms scattered about but very poor experience with HR. If you work on a place without ergo mats get very comfy shoes if you never done warehousing work before.

My best friend worked here and ended up getting a managment position in ohio. But why couldnt they make her manager at this location, she had to go across the usa to make more money?

Working here is physically demanding, mindless, and repetitive. Its simple work but require fast pace in order to make your rate. Managment will make empty promises on improving work conditions, meanwhile schedule you to work mandatory overtime without any notice beforehand. Im only working here to save money for school but Amazon isnt a place I would recommend for anyone to work at.

A place that employs a bigot like this and promotes them into a management position deserves zero stars.

It’s an okay job. Lazy supervisors who only come around to chastise you instead of trying to help you improve is common practice here, so prepare yourself for that. HR/management is bad, but nothing new there with many of these entry level seasonal jobs, and the many problems you face will be handle poorly by them.For the pay; you’re not going find to many general labor jobs that pay this amount of money, and if you can deal with BS, you can get some nice seasonal cash and prizes if you slave hard enough, so I would recommend this job if you have the patience.

Took a tour and wow!! This was just the 5th day that the tours have been offered. The tours are twice a day 10 and 2 and you need a reservation but it was very informative and so cool.

They pay me to do something I enjoy. The only negative is you get two breaks for every ten hours you work. Plus you have to know somebody or be a good looking young lady to get promoted. Hard work means little.

Fellow team members are friendly and inviting. It is hard work but they do a great job at providing an encouraging atmosphere to work in. All of this combined with the benefits make this a perfect job for first time employees that are able to adapt to a fast paced job.

Ive worked here for three years. They work you hard and want you to be near-perfect. But at the end of the day you feel good about what you contributed to society (customers).

Arrived at noon for a 1 PM appt, 10 trucks back from the guard shack. Finally checked in AT the shack at 1:10 PM. What?!?! The SLOWEST, most INANE, and STUPID thing Ive ever seen. There are 2 lanes. As they check a truck in, which seems to take forever per truck, the truck in the adjacent lane, already checked in, CAN NOT proceed and has a cone placed in front of it. Then after the OTHER truck is checked in, the coned truck can move, whereupon the magic cone is placed in the way of the truck who just finally got checked in. So even after you are checked in, its still another 10+ minutes begore you can even proceed through the open driveway. This is obviously a vain attempt to add ridiculous over-the-top Safety For Dummies so that NO TRUCK MOVES while ANYONE IS WITHIN 25 FEET of a piece of modern machinery. Hey, I have an idea. Check in a truck, let HIM proceed through and cone the next truck as you check in the guy in the next lane? Brain surgery, guys? I didnt make my door until after 1:30 PM despite being 200 from the gate at NOON! And they are afflicted with the latest shipper/receiver disease of making you unhook during the process. (News Flash: people bound and determined to find a way to hurt themselves at work for that Big Payout and possible early retirement will never go away. Whats next? Locking the drivers in cells, armed guards around the now unhooked tractor?). And the final insult is that this place is Idle Gestapo Nazi Central. If you are merely unhooking air lines, or working landing gear, if any employee walks by could you please shut off your truck, sir. I am cancelling my Amazon Prime and will never buy from them again. Never.

I worked 8 months at Oak4 in Tracy Ca. I meet a lot of cool people there but after they raised the rate for packers, I quickly got fired! Its Crazy what they demand people to do and how fast you have to move pretty much all the 10hr shift. My first manager RJ was cool, but after he transferred somewhere else, his replacement was uncaring and rude, and he fired me. The pay was great, but believe me, You work your ass off to get it! Im gonna miss some people there .......BUT IM NOT GOING TO MISS THE JOB ITSELF!!

Its alright. As expected in a very busy and well known fast paced environment. Couldnt handle how temp is treated vs full time employees. Some full timers are rude and disrespectful. Others just dont care about anybody. Some are friendly and ok. Wont miss it much because I missed my family more than ever. A month of working with them cost me a month of not seeing my kids and missed their activities at school😟 sad! And the labor is really much as they expected you to be a slave and the only time you breath is on your break time. Tiring! 😏

Terrible. Shipping and receiving does not respond to the guard shack in a timely manner. We sat at the guard shack for 1 hour. But they only give you 29 minutes to hook your trailer and get off their property once you get the paperwork or your company will be flagged.

The reason I didnt like working at amazon wasnt because of the warehouse it was just because I always had a hard time with some people I think one of the there names were Amanda turpentine long story short a really monupulitive person who made me quit I really didnt like working with her very naive person over all I liked the warehouse but hands down this person is a piece of work.

No wonder it called Amazon. This place is a zoo fill with crazy animals. That why they built cages so the workers dont run wild like their mouths. A lot drama at this location. The yard sack workers had to lick a lot of butt wholes to get where theyre at.

First day I went to Amazon orientation at Tracy, Ca and it was a uncomfortable Drug test experience. The HR lady who was the spoke person that day was very RUDE! She was a former Teacher before,seem very angry when the interviewer make mistake during the drug test, or ask questions that she doesnt like. She made a fool out of the people by being very rude. Even if u have to repeat urself over and over again throughout the long day,regardless how dumb anyone sound. She shouldnt be like that, and it make Amazon employee look very bad. It make her look bad too, if ur not happy with a job, quit. Go back to teaching. The day I went she made some people look like a fool, she could of reply in a more professional way, this goes out to anyone that work with people, especially in Human Resources. If she and any other people seem irritated or annoy already, imagine having to ask for help from HR when working there. Tells a lot of things just by being there already in perspective, imagine working there.

Its a busy place to work and the parking lot is so huge! So if youre not early for your shift, well you better be prepared to not only be stuck in traffic (in the parking lot) but to walk a Long way to the main building! 😆 n once inside, well expect to get lost the first few days 😂 Cuz there are no directions or maps to show you where to go or where you are.

This is my second job assignment here and so far is great just like the previous time. Getting a badge the first day is always a pain in the butt however.

The SMX agency dont care about their employees. They only use you to get the job done and work you like a dog. They want your rate to go faster and faster even if your hurt. They dont keep their promises.

Fun place to work. Most people are nice. (Not everyone) but thats everwhere..And theres Room for growth. There are opportunities that most people would overlook just gotta ask...I just dont like how some people are treated as temps vs an actual potential full time employee.

My time at Amazon wasnt very pleasant. My coworkers at the time were great but upper management and HR were pretty bad. They would belittle people and when people would complain to HR, they wouldnt do much about it. You were safe if you just kept your head down and stayed quite. They do pay well but I wouldnt go back. Parking during peak is horrible.
