A truckers perspective. First off you are in California, sorry about that! Quick and to the point. Costco unloads quick and are paperless, no headaches. No real parking close by though.

Never ending deal here. More than enough to maneuver as long as they pull all the way up in front of u. If u are waiting for your door to open. Pull straight in from your door. You can check in early (45 min). If u are delivering early in the morning....turn off headlights I promise there isnt anything to see in front of you or just hope in your bunk and hide....maybe they wont notice your lights on

Picking up load from meat plant long wait

Much construction. New entrance is off of Gateway Blvd. Delivery to raw meat side quick. People are nice. Go in entrace on Gateway, turn right and follow yellow arrows to last building. Turn right keeping building on left side of you. Follow building around to stop sign. Park there and check in at office on your left. Dont be late! Not sure about being early.

Get here on time or be forced to wait.....and wait....and wait. You can show up early if you have raw meat. However look at satellite view to figure out your building, gaurd directions are ineffective. Make sure you roll in with a good amount of reef fuel. Check BOLs they should have building number beware there are about 4 different buildings so get the right one to save frustration and attitude.

Some comments says to check in at the door on the left upon pulling in front of your assigned door. My experience is different, guard shack give it back your BOL, yard attendant instruction was that go park in front of your assigned door, open door, back in your door when the other truck just left then exit on the left to the same guard shack which you’ll receive a proof of delivery.

After reading through the first couple reviews. I can see that its not just me that has a problem with this place and their management. I called with a concern about an employee that was driving recklessly and almost hit my mirror with my small children below the age of 3 in my car. I even stated how my husband was very upset. And would like to come in to talk to him. And he threatened legal action and calling the police on my husband. Like are you serious?!?! Your employee is the one that is driving recklessly that could have caused a major life-threatening accident if she would have clipped the side of my vehicle may I also add the side she would have clipped would have been the side with my three month old son in it. but youre going to threaten my husband. The manager gave me a very generic apology and said he has four hundred employees and theres not much he can do but they addressed in their monthly meeting. I hope the girl with the Volvo sees this. You need to slow down and be careful. There are other people driving on the road besides you it is very unnecessary to cut everybody off in the turning lane going 55 miles an hour to go to the straight lane to your work.

Lacks organization for inbound freight. Like most major chain distribution centers, your appointment time means nothing unless youre late. And hopefully you have no other freight on board. They WILL make you late to your next stop. So budget your time wisely!

Amazing standards to jeeping thing safe, sanitized and clean! They set the standards sooo high, that USDA has an office set up here so that costco can move its product more efficiently and rapidly. Its great

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Appt time was 5:45a. Got there at 5a. Stop at guard shack and hand them my bills. They give me a door and a pager. 6:15 pager goes off. Green light. Time to go. One guy checks your trailer out and gives you a chip. Drive up and give the guard shack your pager and chip. They scan a load sheet and give you a label. You are done. So efficient its hard to describe. Walmart could take lessons.

Perfect place. Unloads quickly, no paperwork. Register at the entrance and go to the door, at the exit you will receive a document stating that the cargo has been accepted. Very polite service staff.
