My spouse currently works here as seasonal help. Mostly he has been ok but he has had to move to different areas during his shift. He change his area and work on the loading dock. The full time dock people didnt actually do any work once he got there. They both just used the seasonal workers to do the work. The job of unloading trucks should require steel toed shoes but they did not require it. He come home with bruises all over his arms and legs and a hurt foot from where some boxes had fallen on it. He did report this the next day but nobody seemed to care. Im sure the dock area is not the only area where full-time employees cry wolf and say they need more help and then when the help gets there they just step back and do nothing while the seasonal help does all the work. I expected more out of Amazon. I at least expected them to require standard safety clothing like steel toed shoes in an area where you are unloading trucks....not just shorts, tennis shoes, and a T-shirt. Very disappointed in the way Amazon is treating their seasonal workers.

Cool place to work cool people heavy work gets boring sometimes you want to go home but most part if you go there to work and do your job there’s no problems

Horrible management, on your behind about every tiny thing you do. Doesn’t matter if you do something wrong or not. I especially don’t like one of the managers Purvis. Don’t care that I’m throwing him under the bus. Even though he wasn’t my manager he was on my behind more than my own manager. And when they let me go it wasn’t even my own manager that let me go.

I got here for the delivery, at the security gate when I checked in the guard told me to back into the door and disconnect the truck so I did, after 2 hours yard driver came and said you are not suppose to be here, disconnect and go find park somewhere, which I have been checked already in bobtail parking which was full and I explained to him and he said park by no parking zone(redline), if I do that by myself earlier then they would get maid and they don’t let the truck go out either . No complete instructions when truck arrived

My daughter in law works here, she really enjoys working for Amazon and she makes a great paycheck every week.

Ordered 4 fitness trackers took a long time to get them they came from China!!!!! with no charge cords!!!! and no way to contact the individual that sold them!!!!!!!!

I work here its so easy and simple, since theres a lot of walking involved it takes about 2 weeks for your feet to adjust. After that easy money man.

This recieving dept is horrible been here since 800am and im still docked and waiting to get unloaded and its 1500 hrs and still not done 7hrs plus plus plus shsssss talking about milking hours

This amazon abuses their workers and forces the older women to work in harsh conditions regardless of their health. I have many coworkers here who are older and get taken advantage of because of their great work ethic. This amazon likes to use the best workers until they literally break. I became very suicidal working here because they left me in one of the hardest functions (rebin; a rate of 260 items per hour) for months. One time I asked to get switched out because my stomach hurt, but the managers refused & ignored me & continued to walk past me like I wasn’t a human being. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Very helpful hiring department

Noticed how the majority of the people who gives 4 or more stars are the employees of the place? Of course it a good place to work for giving that they take their sweet time to unload their products. Good luck and take a good nap my fellow truckers.

Maybe if this place hired adults instead of lazy kids still living at home with mommy and daddy trailers would get unloaded faster. fire them all and hire the homeless vets. they would probably work harder.

Appt was at 10am, arrived 20mins early, it’s 1pm and the manager says it’ll be done in 5 mins, I went to check and the trailer hasn’t been touched. I guess that’s the aftermath of “customer first” screw the employee and the people that make it happen, thanks amazon! Prime membership cancelled!

Worst place ever .take forever to unload. They just keep doing their chit chat here and there don’t even bother about the driver or their time. Don’t waste ur time by coming here

Day time gate security guard (Big guy) is fu***ng rude . He thinks he is a boss . I had a drop. He said you are earlier so I can not allow to drop your trailer, I said can you ask inside. When he asked they said he can drop, then I drop my trailer,, I was shocked when he said I DO NOT ALLOW...😁...you’re just a employee not a boss. ..

They arent giving me my last check. When someone quits the employer has 72 to give them their final pay. Havent received anything.. Have a feeling they are gunna be dodging my calls since I keep calling and get the voicemail. Next step will be the CA Department of Labor .

Love working here I hope I get a chance to move up in the company in the future 😁
