I stumbled into Vacation Nails yesterday and SO HAPPY I did! I didnt have an appointment, but they were able to seat me quickly. The prices are reasonable and they offer a choice of beverages - water, soda, wine. I was fortunate to get Jessie. In one word, she was meticulous. She went above and beyond when I selected a bright neon polish. Jessie knew that it wouldnt be the brightest. She suggested white as a base coat. I love that she understood what I wanted!Their location is not near me, but I see myself driving out of my way just to get Jessie again.Highly recommend!!

Worst place ever!! My sister got her nails done too they didn’t even took off the old tip😡😡 they did her nails on top of the old tip!!The lady who did my nails was complaining all the time saying that my nails were too short!

Went in last minute today on my lunch break for a full set and pedicure. It was my first time here. Both women that did my nails were wonderful. Very polite and did a great job!There are a lot of nail salons to choose from in this area and I think this place will be my new go to salon. Friendly service, great prices, and amazing work!

They do an amazing pedicure here and nails are beautiful. Only complaint is they do not clean under the nails after dipping powder. Each time I have to clean a lot of gunk out but my nails are so pretty that I don’t mind

My nails were poorly done as in they didnt clean built up dip under the nails, & they broke very easily just a few days later. I wanted to make sure my family member had a drink (since that was the selling point in getting them to go) and my nail tech said she knows what shes doing and both my family member and I went without our drinks for another 20mins before my nail tech giggled sorry, she forgot. Overpriced.

They have no experience I asked for one. design and they made me one that looks nothing like the design that I gave👎👎first and last time visited this place im too upset. I wanted the snake design and look what they did to me😠😡

Got my nails done here back in October 2020. First and foremost the place is extremely clean and serves drinks! I had the boxed wine and my nails artist - MaiThai was so friendly. She removed my old acrylic and gave me a gel manicure. Omg the hand massage was so good and she also was attentive and had great energy. El def re visit

This is not my idea of a vacation. The moment I walked in I have a lady yelling at me and telling me what to do and explaining everything to me as if I’m a 2 year old…woman I can freaking read and stop yelling at me like I did something wrong.

Here is the thing... I usually go by reviews. But let’s be honest sometimes places have great reviews, you try it based on this and you end up disappointed. This place is definitely a 4.5 star place. Some good some bad. Customer service wins overall so that’s why I keep coming backGood- friendly, professional, affordable.I’ve always had good experiences or as good as it gets at nails places. I’ve had to ask to fix one or two nails sometimes, other times they’re perfect. But I know that as long as I tell them to do it I will walk out of there a happy client.Bad- they take forever!!!!!!!! And ever and ever...you get the point. Up to two hrs for dip is way too long.The just not okay- ladies keep changing stations. Last time I had 3 people working on my nails... two of them at the same time and it still took FOREVER!Side note:I’ve read reviews here about them speaking their native language and I agree. As a bilingual person myself (and someone that works in hospitality) I can tell you this much: it is disrespectful to do this in front of customers. I would never do this in front of a guest/customer EVER and I would not allow my employees to do it either. If your saying it on your language then it means you can’t say it on English in front of the customer so you probably shouldn’t say be saying it at all. Now if they don’t speak English I’m a bit more understanding but I know they all do so....The place is not the best as far as “pretty/modern/updated” but it has some really nice ladies and the job is (my personal opinion) the best in the colony and Lewisville

I came here because of the good reviews but unfortunately my experience wasn’t as great 😢To be honest, the staff is super friendly, nice and respectful.I got my nails done today (gel polish on my natural nails)and it didn’t turn out half as good as I expected. There’re little hairs and objects stuck in between the polish, my nails are bumpy and they look stained and dirty (I got a white color). I really liked the ladies so I wish I had a better experience but unfortunately I won’t be coming back.UPDATE!!!!!I went back today and Maithai was so sweet. She offered to fix my nails and she did a splendid job! I let her pick the color and I’m glad I did. I wish she’d had done it the first time, but I’m happy all the same. I will definitely be going back to see Maithai. She’s the real MVP!!!

I wished I remember the Nail Tech who did my pedicure, but I will never forget how attentive and sweet she was. Last year when I was a few weeks away from my due date, the Tech spent an hour massaging my feet because she could sense how fatigued I was. She expressed how she enjoyed taking special care in the comfort of her pregnant clients. Anyways, that went a very long way with me! Also, she did an amazing job with my pedicure!

I was visiting a friend and we meet in Dallas. I scheduled an appt for 2 pedi. Maithai did a fab job with my pedi she also shared some info with me that i needed to hear. She was awesome best pedi i ever had. I think ill make that 2 hr trip for another pedi with her only. Maithai if your reading this i took your advice hun❤❤

Went to see Vy because of the reviews and got Ivy and Myte. They were all super pleasant and accommodating. Myte did a great job on my nexgen nails for the first time. Go see Myte “Mighty” Woman! I will see again soon!

I got a dip extension manicure on Saturday, 10/31/20. I’d had a full set of dip extensions for 4-5 weeks prior and they did not give me new tips on any nails except ones that had already broke, only filed off the old color and put dip powder over the tips I’d already gotten and had for roughly a month. Never had that happen at any other nail place; others always took off the old tips and gave me new ones. Honestly the service here felt a little rushed, and I liked the color and shape but it’s only been 3 days since I got this set and one has already broken and I haven’t been doing anything strenuous or something that would surely warrant a broken nail. Kind of frustrated.

This is my go to nail salon! They are fast, professional and do an amazing job! No matter who you receive your services from, each staff member will leave you feeling relaxed and pampered. They serve complimentary beverages, use hot stones in pedicures and will add extra staff to complete your services if youre in a rush. I work nearby but live farther away and will rather drive to Vacation Nail Bar than find a location closer to my home.

Clean. Have Covid 19 apparatus in place for health and sanitizer purposes. Very pleased with my nails. Not a lot of gel color options but overall professional and reasonable services.

I went there and I typically get long nails and i’m very picky. Vy worked on my nails and made sure they were absolutely perfect, i’ve been getting my nails done for years and this was the best set i’ve had.

This was the first time I went and will definitely become a regular customer.

I just left Vacation Nail Bar and I can say that my first visit was excellent!!! Lisa did a fabulous job on my nails and waxing!!! I have found my new favorite nail salon!!

Kelly did my nails here. Shes so sweet and very good at what she does. Id had a really bad experience at another salon and was a little nervous to try it again, but everyone was really friendly. The family were there and kids even contributed to getting drinks and checking out guests. Ill be back for sure.

Disclaimer: I am extremely picky. That being said, they have a very, very nice staff - but in my opinion, they do not do a good job. I have been twice to get pedicures (over 6 months ago, and then yesterday) and it was consistent both times. I felt as if my service was done half way bc there was not much time spent on cuticles or filing (again, Im very particular). After my nails were cut, I noticed that one nail was not the same length as the rest so I asked that it be trimmed down some more, and she ended up cutting all the nails again (now theyre too short for my liking). The polish is painted on too thick and sloppy. I will not be going back.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Came here to get my eyebrows and lip waxed and the wax literally burned my upper lip. It is completely swollen, red and has blisters on it! I ended up having to go the doctor and when I came back to ask for a refund they offered to give me a gift card? As if I would ever go back there. They ended up giving me my money back but only because there were costumers around and I’m assuming they didn’t want me to escalate things. DONT GO HERE

V, the manager, did my nails today and did an awesome job! She was very friendly and accomodating. There are all new owners and staff in here, not at all what was in this location before. Definitely will be going back and recommending them to friends!

Ladies are very nice and talented.

When i got them done it was great. But then my top layer chipped off on some of my nails and i had bows on my thumbs and they fell off and so i went back 2 days later and the lady there wouldnt fix the design and put my bows back on. She refused, all she did is put the gloss back over my nails. Not a happy customer.

They are welcoming but they dont do a good job. Ive been twice in the past 5 months. First time in January I asked for a gel mani. They offered me a beverage & the whole time the lady was trying to convince me to get a dip powder mani. She took sooo long only to have the nails look uneven & the polish wasnt even to the edges of my nails. One of the managers noticed the messy job & tried to fix it before I could say anything. They looked ok. She automatically gave me a $5 discount, which was courteous of her. Its like they put someone who didnt know how to do a gel mani to do it on me. -_-The next time was in March. I asked for a quick, no-fuss, simple mani with regular polish. Right away I could tell the girl was bored, not interested in her work, & definitely not vested in me as the customer. She finished really quickly, probably less than 15 min. She cut my cuticle so deeply that it bled & it was painful for a few days afterward--she just wasnt paying attention & didnt care. Half of my nails were cut/filed unevenly. The glitter polish was slap dash at best. It was only $6 so I had little room to complain, but I wouldve been willing to pay $10 more for better service.3 stars because its affordable, they always offer a beverage, theyre friendly, & theyre very close to my home. Thats it.

I went in for a nexgyn full set. first of, i was greeted with a welcoming smile and sat immediately by Vy. she is amazing and curtious as one can be. Kelly did my nails while Vy assisted when she could because i had mentioned i had a test to take today. you’d think that they’d rush it with two people, but they were very maticoulos. i highly recommend them to anyone who is super picky about their length and shape like i am.
