Definitely will make it a point to go back. Is not my usual place but I really loved the pedicure spa they did. My manicure was gorgeous too.

They do a decent job on nails. However, apparently appointments don’t mean anything to them. Don’t bother showing up early to your appointment, heck you can even show up late. They never keep a schedule. I can understand being busy, but when I overhear that someone got in as a “last minute” appointment moments before I walked in the door. This place knows me I came here ALL THE TIME! So why don’t I get special treatment? Does my $10 tip not satisfy you? $45 service $10 tip… that’s more than 20%. Also what part of round nails do you not understand? They were round, but I ended up with pointed. I had to fix them myself.

After looking through reviews on both Google and Yelp, I’ve read a few that are terribly skewed. I’ve been a patron of Dip Nails for well over a year.Despite claims from other reviewers, the ladies at Dip Nails are always very friendly and accommodating. They do their best to fit you in if you haven’t made an appointment or request a last minute appointment.They do an awesome job with all of the services that I’ve ever purchased (Dip, manicure, gel manicure, gel pedicure, eyebrow wax), so I’m baffled by some of the reviews posted. It almost seems that some reviewers are just being spiteful or trying to solicit free services. I’ve also seen this take place in person while getting my own services. 10/10 recommend Dip Nails. They always do a great job. Do yourself a favor and get pampered for a change.

I have been going to Dip Nails for over a year and my nails have been in love with this salon since day 1 the ladies are all so nice and make you feel so welcomed. I used to do solar acrylics and when I first came here that was what I was wanting and the ladies talked me into trying the Dip nails which is what they are known for and my nails have been so much more healthier. I used to get my nails done every 2 weeks when I did acrylics and with the Dip nails I can go a month without needing a fill and none if my nails fall off. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I promise you wont be disappointed.

I was able to walk in and get my nails done, even while they were super busy! I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was laid back and the people that work there went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. I will definitely be going back here. Next time, I will be making an appointment. I highly recommend this place!!

10/10 would not recommend this place. I’ve gotten a mani/pedi here about 5x and the experience is not great. They make you feel like they’re doing you a favor, and not like a valued paying customer. I always feel rushed and end up waiting forever for my appointment to start. They try to upswell you on the mani/pedis which is really annoying when you’re there to relax/unwind. I recently got dip powder done by Linda who gave me an okay shape. The top coat wore off in a day. I went back to have them fix it, and I was welcomed with extreme attitude and was asked to return in an hour. As if I have all the time in the world to waste. Chau is the best nail tech. I have been with her since before she started her own business and I absolutely love her. Her shop is very clean and the staff is great!!!

First, the lady trimmed my nails too much. They’re too short for a french tip. Secondly, I asked for a darker red with glitter that was on the table, but she went and picked another one which you can see in the picture. This shade doesn’t go well with my skin tone and also she applied a pink “natural” color and it doesn’t help the look. The oval shape of my nails is uneven and after all that, she said next time I have to let her know if I want french tip because it takes longer. The thing is, I did mentioned it when I called... this was $50 I won’t come back...

The service was horrible the we called and let them know it would only be two of us and not three of us they were rude and did not write it down. They also didn’t give either of us the colors we wanted and at the end responded with the colors we chose were expired.. so should’ve let us know? Not picked a different color. They didn’t clean up cuticles they just dipped the nails so I had horrible hangnails. They also didn’t get any of the toe nails filed or dug out from the side very horrible experience will never go back.

Called ahead to get a pedicure. Very busy. Staff were friendly. Prices are great. I chose a bright color and nail design for something different.

I stumbled upon this gem by chance one day, and I am so glad I did! I only had pedicures the first 2 times which were amazing, so I decided to try it for my solars. Lida does the long nails, and I am so incredibly impressed and happy with her! I feel sooo lucky to have found her. She has given me exactly what what I ask for, and really pays attention to detail. Ive been getting my nails done for years, and she is literally the best I have ever found. I hope to be her client for a very long time!

I was able to get in 30 minutes early which was awesome! I saw people disinfecting throughout my time there. Linda was very thorough and detailed in her work! She even noticed a flaw and fixed it before I could even say anything. I walked out with quality, smooth nails and super happy. The shape is great too. The only downside is that it did take an hour and a half due to her answering phone calls and working on the book. If it wouldnt have taken so long I probably would have given 5 stars. Ill definitely be going back.

The staff constantly tried to upsell from a regular manicure to a gel manicure, then when I finally agreed to the gel manicure, the end result is polish in some areas that are so thin you can see through it, and thick and gloppy in other areas. This is the worst manicure Ive ever had.

I get my dip and pedicures here. Both are great quality. Super clean and newer. Chau is my gal for my nails and I’m never disappointed. I always choose color 11.

I go to dip nails exclusively for my nails. They are fun and friendly and always do a great job.

They did well they only have nails they dont do eyebrow waxing or anything else only nails but they do good at the nails and they didnt have a great selection of nail polish heater but the staff is very helpful and polite and the prices were okay

The staff listens to you, give you what you ask for. They take their time with you, they are nice, very pleasant people to talk too. The shop is always clean and have a welcoming atmosphere.

I am hoping this review can help educate some people. I have psoriasis and am one of the unfortunate few who has the joy of dealing with it affecting the appearance of my nails. This was my first time at this salon because I just moved to Salem. Because psoriasis is embarrassing enough, I like to get manicures to help cover up the visual side effects and reduce rude stares. I have been dealing with this for 20+ years and I have NEVER had a nail tech make me feel as horrible about my MEDICAL CONDITION as Linda did yesterday.She very loudly kept bringing it up and explaining to me how the separation of my nail at parts from the nail bed was fungus and dangerous to use the SNS powder with. I repeatedly explained what the condition was and how it’s not contagious nor a fungus. The salon was quiet, but I now know the other 5 strangers in there are well aware of my condition as well.She did try to reassure me that she was just looking out for me and other customers, which I understand. I would HOPE that instead of embarrassing someone who could be a regular client, next time you can take the time to educate yourself and not be so incredibly rude.It took everything inside of me not to break down in tears. This year has been hard enough, and you don’t get my tears. Educate your staff, please.The quality of the manicure itself was fine. Nothing special, but it gets the job done.

I have gotten maybe four pedicures done over the last few months, and yesterday was my last one at this shop. I kept being nagged about spending more money on fancier pedicures for my bf and I, and the woman who was doing my toes kept being pushy about shellac polish. It was the most unrelaxing pedicure I’ve ever had and I left being so annoyed.

My first time there and I highly recommend going here. The establishment is so clean. You feel welcomed and with customers coming in you knew they were return customers by the acknowledgement of introduction and back and forth conversations. I thought thats a great sign. Of course I went with the basic hey first time wasnt going to be to adventurous. Chau did my nails and she was very nice and friendly. I asked many questions and all answered and she asked about me. I was her 2nd to last appointment and I didnt feel like she wanted to rush me out the door, in fact I felt very at ease. I think my nails are awesome and I am definitely going back. By far one of the best nail salons Ive over been. Everyone here is funny, polite, and professional. Pedispas are great, and clean. Fingernail stations kept clean and wiped down after each person. I always get designs by Lida on top of my dip and she always surpasses my expectations. Not to mention they are very decently priced!

Linda is an artist and always does a wonderful job. Word to the wise - make an appointment ahead of time (these ladies are in high demand!) and, if you want an ombre do like mine, make sure to tell them that when you make your appointment, because it takes longer. Its totally worth it!

The guy who did my nails was rude and so rough with my fingernails and hands. I couldent relax my hands enough for his liking, he kept jerking my hands around to position them the way he wanted, while twisting my fingers He was really really rough with the filing down the nails on the sides he cut into one of my fingers. Needless to say I’ll never be going back here. The nails might look okay when there finished but it’s not worth being treated like an inanimate object.

Dip Nails is sooooo new and clean and follow all the Covid-19 rules. Have been coming here since they opened. In one word-AMAZING! They are friendly, professional, and love the outcome. Highly recommend!

This was my first experience with this establishment and I was overall highly impressed. I was a walk-in and they fit me right in. They are following covid-19 guidelines with masks, barriers and cleanliness. I received a full set of acrylic nails. They were done beautifully. She listened to what I wanted for length and shape. I have a couple of nails that are tricky to work with from years of working construction. She formed new nails for me and never once made me feel embarrassed about them. What a refreshing experience. Im definitely going back there for my future fills and other pampering needs.

This place is wonderful! Very clean, and has very nice workers. I got a manicure and I asked for matte, at the end I wasn’t sure about the matte and she offered to put a shiny coat over it without complaint! I am really happy with how my nails turned out.There were lots of people in the salon, but my nails were not rushed and she really took her time to make sure they were done really well.Overall, I would recommend this salon and will definitely be going back.

Honestly this place is amazing. I got my nails done with the dip nails for the first time I normally do acrylic but dip is so much better. The nails are laid down so flat and I hardly feel them anymore.And they do amazing with the colors and designs. Ive been here twice already because i love it so much. I got to different designs.

I love this new nail salon! They are friendly, kind, and do not hurt you! I love how clean and comfortable this salon was as well as the feeling of being in a higher end shop. The color selection for dip nails was remarkable - 100s!!! There are a TON of pedicure stations, so you can have a lot of people. The service was excellent, and it was easy to get along with, and have a conversation with, the person doing my nails - Linda. I will gladly return!

Super friendly people, my first time with dip technique, they were accommodating and fun. My nails were beautiful and natural looking when finished. Its been five weeks since I went and my nails havent chipped or lifted like they do with regular acrylic application. Cant wait to go back!

Took my 11 year old granddaughter to Salem shopping. (We live on the Oregon Coast). We decided to get manicures and pedicure.. We went to Dip Nails.Wow!! My nails are amazing and my granddaughter had a an amazing time getting her nails and toes done. Very beautiful salon. The choices for colors is the most variety I have ever seen. The owner did a great job on my nails. Very friendly and informative letting me know how to care for my nails and when I should return. They also did a pedi. The tech who did the pedi was very thorough taking special care to do the job eight from cuticle removal to paint. Would definitely recommend this business to my friends.

I’m a loyal customer to an Alternate Nail Salon and have been Very happy with their service! I prefer a particular and talented woman at my salon but she’s very hard to secure with “my availability” because of work. So I returned from an unexpected trip and couldn’t get in but my nails could not wait the 2 weeks required for my appointment so I went to the internet and found DIP NAILS!! I use Only dip because it’s the only successful product for My nail bed and their reviews were good.. so I called and made an appt for next available day. I was early.. I was instructed to pick my color (Huge Assortment to choose from). LIDA was friendly, caring, built my nail up where needed. She was kind (had a small cut just above nail bed), made sure I was comfortable. She’s very quick while being Stellar in her End Product. Love my normal gal But honestly, I may be making a change. Lida provides services I remember from the “good ole days”.. were talking 25 years ago and Nobody does that Anymore. (At least not with added cost)... Waited 45 mins after my scheduled appointment Due to over booking. Several girls also waited longer then me. She rushed the whole process. my first experience here wasnt good. Edges are rough still huge dints in my 2 of nails. Not impressed at all. Probably wnt go there again.

Dont recommend at all, I had made an appointment for 3 full sets, once we got there they said we couldnt get ombré because they didnt have enough time, or mentioned it while I called her, Which shouldnt matter because we made an appointment! Then the lady decided to throw us the fact that they are now 2 people short, well maybe you shouldve just said ok and attended us. Regardless they were ganna get payed. But not no more.
