Had a good experience here. Staff was friendly and fixed my youngest hair again for me when it wasnt exactly what I wanted and did a great job fixing us up with a style that fit are needs and easy for us to replicate at home. Thank you for getting us school ready .

I got a haircut by Gin and got just what I asked for. I’m happy!!But never mind 2 months later! No one will answer the phone. The system they tell you to use to book doesn’t work, and no one replies to the “contact us” emails. Good grief. I just wanted a hair cut. Searching for a new place. Ugh!

They cut both of my kids hair and they do a fantastic job. Cost is reasonable too.

Great place to go! Love the attention to detail and willingness to “cut just a bit more here.” Always courteous and welcoming. You can get just a cut or the whole works. Booking online is easy, or you can call or even walk-in.

Wont come again. I came for a trim/ reshape as it’s been awhile and needed to cut off dry ends from bleaching and coloring my hair not a natural color. So yeah it was time. I used this salon and hair stylist before though this time not sure but felt different.. I felt like Aleecia kept judging me on my color technique and kept making comments of how bad my hair color looked. (As i did it myself) Just made me feel uncomfortable. She Even laughed at it while she was shampooing it, commenting “I don’t know girl” Like yea I know that i still have things to do with my hair and pointing it out constantly throughout my entire appointment made my self confidence shoot way way down. It’s a shame really.. took care of my shape though i feel like it wasn’t worth my feelings. Just wore a hat all day after this appointment . So this place gives a decent cut though if you color your own hair & don’t want to be laughed at of how it’s not “perfect” maybe go somewhere else 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely amazing ! Went for a walk in and they were busy gave me a same day time to come back . Aly did my 7 year olds hair and literally could not have asked for a better person to do it . She’s so down to earth and full of jokes and made my son super comfortable and he HATES haircuts but I guess I found his permanent barber because he said he LOVES the way she did his hair and said she was sooooo nice . Thank you all so much !

So worth the drive! I live in Austin but drove out to Temple last Saturday for a trim. Its hard finding a super talented hairstylist with a good hand but Mayra is definitely one of those starr stylists :D Loved my layered haircut and loved the decor! Thank you Starr Haircutters! Love this place! The staff is super friendly and I not only was able to get my hair cut the way I wanted it after frying it completely from bleaching it too much but i have bangs! No other place has ever been able to cut my bangs like Ive wanted them my whole life! Okay--so I came in to see Alicia because she is always amazing and Id follow her anywhere. I came in to just get my hair cut in a bob like I always do, and I asked her opinion on whether I should get fringe bangs. She explained THOROUGHLY not only how they would look great on my face type physically, but how she could see them matching my personality and attitude! She is probably the only person I would trust to give me bangs for the first time, and she came through!! Go see Alicia-you wont be sorry.

I have been coming to this salon for a while now. I always had a great experience. Not this time! The hair dresser did NOT listen to me about what I wanted and how I wanted my haircut. I feel like my hair was just Butchered. I know she was busy, however I waited over an hour patiently. She was not at all patient with me and argued with me, and now Im struggling with my hair.

I have never posted a review about a hair salon before. I was nervous about being able to get an appointment the same day, especially a Sunday. I called and found out I could just show up as a walk-in and they were open till 4pm... great! Mayra cut my hair and was extremely kind and calm. That made me feel very comfortable. I also liked the environment of the salon, small and cozy. Mayra was so wonderful and pleasant, she blow dried my hair for me as it was quite windy and chilly out. I normally just let it air dry. She even encouraged me to continue growinhg my hair out. Mayra told me how often I should come back for a trim to keep it healthy. This salon has very reasonable prices and my wait time was literally minutes! This will not be my last visit, and Happy Holidays to all!

Came in not knowing what to expect. My wife had said they did a good job on our infant son. This is the best haircut experience I have ever had. The staff was not only professional but they tackled the rough areas of my hair that other barbershops just tend to ignore like the cow licks and areas that stick up. As far as I’m concerned they are the best in Texas. As long as I’m in central Texas no one else will touch My hair!

Very friendly and professional. Never forced a conversation, let it flow naturally, and was comfortable in silence. I wanted a V-shaped cut with layers and I LOVED it. It is beautiful. I went in with virgin hair in terms of color. I knew little about coloring. I showed a few pics and said highlights. Long story short, I disliked my hair coloring. I gave it a few days, but still didnt like it. I came back and got it fixed and I LOVEEEEE it. Its literally perfect. If this is what I wouldve gotten the first time, it would be 5 stars. Actually, if I didnt have to pay the second time, it wouldve been 5 stars. I am sure I paid a highly discounted price, which I appreciate, but still. But I think it was somewhat my fault for not fully researching what I wanted and I dont think I showed enough pictures and said what I liked and disliked about each one. I recommend Cora :)

Mayra is AMAZING! Y’all, haven’t cut my hair in 2 yrs as a blonde scarred from bad hair cuts and letting my hair grow out and she was fabulous, didn’t cut too much, was cautious. Didn’t make me feel bad about my damaged hair 🙌 The shampoo was THE BEST I EVER HAD! I would go in just for a shampoo. Conversation was great, quick service, great place. Definitely recommend, great prices!

I am very pleased with my hair cut. I love a few things about this shop. They have perfect hours. They are open until 7 PM most days and they are the only good Hair cutters open on Sunday in Temple that Ive been too. The customer service hit it out of the part with Myra. She was so nice and did a excellent job on my hair cut. Another cool thing about them is they offer 7 day policy if you are not happy or decide you wanted your hair cut a little more you can come back and get that done for Free! The price was very reasonable and the service was a grand slam in bottom of the ninth!

Not a great haircut

Cora is absolutely wonderful! I travel from Copperas Cove to have her cut my hair and both my girls. My youngest is five years old and is special needs. Cora is the only hair stylist she will let cut her hair. I highly recommend her.

Awesome experience for my little ones. They have toys that kept my 18 month old occupied during his haircut and he could play while his sister was getting hers cut. Excellent customer service.

When I first moved to Temple I wasnt sure where to get my haircut because i wasnt from the area. Im very picky about my hair so I was a little scared of finding someone new. I just moved to temple and needed to get a hair cut. I googled hair salons near me and thia place came up. I hadnt had a haircut in a year so I was very nervous. But the reviews I read and the 2 times I had called made me feel like this was the place to go. I got there and Mayra made me feel amazing and at ease.
