More than your services, I like the people who work at the Russellville, Arkansas location. They are absolutely incredible. I could go on and on about that they are welcoming, encouraging, enjoyable, friendly, and ten more positive words, and there would still be more to say. The gym itself is something I can find pretty much anywhere under different corporate names. The people make me feel like family and keep me coming back.

Nice clean environment. early call staff. great place to work out and tan for $20 a month.

Friendly staff. Low prices. Only issue I have is the heavy reliance on Smith machines (liability concerns) for bench press, squats and such. But for what you pay, its worth the price.

My wife and I were members at PF Russellville since moving back to Russellville at the start of 2021. We moved to Fayetteville at the end of the summer, and Craig was mad helpful and kind from beginning to end with us, even helping us avoid the cost of cancellation. This is a clean and friendly gym with more than enough equipment and room for the average person.

I really like this gym! It’s been difficult with COVID especially finding a way to come in with the limited hours but it makes me feel more comfortable seeing how clean everything is. It gets pretty crowded early in the mornings but everyone respects the 6 feet rule. The management is helpful and kind. I don’t really talk to staff much but they always greet me when I come in which is welcoming. I have no complaints :-)

Been getting charged every month, when i signed up..the conditions were 24hrs. If this place was professional id atleast get half off since i cant work out due to schedule. Went and tried Anytime fitness, was amazing! Never should have wasted time at planet fitness.

My favorite Planet Fitness that I have been to. After having weight loss surgery it’s great to have a supportive and well informed staff. COVID-19 has made it difficult for all of us but this staff keeps this place clean and well maintained!

I was welcomed as soon as I stepped through the door. The facility was clean but still had someone on the floor cleaning and checking paper towel stations. When I scanned my card to use massage chair the lady welcomed me back since I hadn’t been in for a long time.

This is a rip off ... well organized and well planned when it comes down to billing and staff is very rude Marvin the branch manager do not know how to resolve the billing problem and blamed it on COVID

I have been a member of one gym or another for forty years. I signed up here when it first opened because I thought it was a great deal. For 11 or 21 bucks a month you get a well-maintained gym with a friendly staff, a good variety of equipment, clean showers and restrooms, massage chairs and tables, and plenty of parking.

The manager has a good crew of people. The place is nice and clean considering how busy they get and everyone that works there is super nice.

Gym is great! Excellent equipment, great space, my only complaint was the front desk worker. He acted like it was a burden to help me, was short, rude, and wouldn’t make eye contact. Very unprofessional. Other than that... great place to get and stay fit! *** pretty upset that the gym has now been closed for 2 weeks and did so without any notice to members. Also wondering when you guys are gonna return to normal hours. I’m just about to cancel my membership and move to another gym.

Its a really great environment with lots of various machines to work on. Plus the staff is awesome if u should ever need help with anything(ex: Advice or?s, etc). Its in a safe, well lit area of town. And its the most accessible local gym where I live, and its also the most affordable as well... Plus Im not limited to just the one in my area either! With a low monthly membership, I am able to go to any other Planet Fitness centers thats located anywhere, any town one is available. And its always strong enough to keep challenging my awn personal goals each time go. Its 24/7 too so can always find time to make it to the gym-- No hassles, and No Excuses!! How are you going to have a dress code policy and I still have to watch young girls walk around in sports bras and short shorts all day? Then I keep getting approached by people who aren’t even licensed trainers there asking me to pay them for training. How do you allow people who aren’t even staffed there to be trainers?

Nice facilities. Probably the smallest planet fitness Ive been to, but it has the nicest showers out of all them (out of 10 different ones Ive been to).

No toilet paper in mens restroom...was completely blown off by the Shift Lead and was told that there were no men employees to replace the toilet paper. Was told that ty e last male employee that was on shift left at 10pm the night before. Im fairly certain that the 12 diameter roll of toilet paper wasnt used from 10pm until 7am the next morning...which is obviously the slowest time of the day. What frustrates me most is the lack of concern she showed during our conversation. There must be a better way to handle this...maybe she couldve asked me if I minded replacing it.

I have visited 2 for a long period of time. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, a wide and numerous assortment of equipment, open 24/7, classes for everyone. If you buy a premium membership they add tanning, massage beds and entrance to any club in the US.

OKAY! Im fed up with the bad reviews Ive been reading on this site. I feel that the Russellville, Arkansas branch of Planet fitness far exceeds the standards set by many gyms in our society of settling for mediocrity. I need to state as a disclaimer that I never plan on working out at this planet fitness or any other for that matter. However I have showered at them all over the country and this is by far the best I have seen. Friendly management. I didnt feel judged at all when I walked in soaked in rain mud and tears. I waltzed right back into the locker room and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the advanced nature of the facilities. I was impressed by the showeres coming out of the ceiling. Granted, it was a sharp learning curve... but once I got the hang of it I was able to shower more efficiently than ever. After I showered I waltzed back into the locker room entirely in the nude. Once again, no judgment! I felt refreshed and replenished. I then took a spin on a tanning bed, my genitalia feels a little over cooked but besides that I was happy. I give this gym a 6 out of five star rating for the pleasure I felt receiving my complimentary massage.

Ive asked these guys to take the TV in the mens dressing room off of FOX Fake News 3 times now. Today, before I left, I went back to change my clothes and it was on again. One of the employees was in the room when I walked in and I asked him very kindly to put it on ESPN, the Weather Channel, the Golf Channel, or anything else that was not political. He said it was corporate policy? Ive been going to this gym for three months now and never heard of anything like this. He said that he couldnt change the channel? I told him thats great, Ill change my gym membership. Terrible customer service!

I am not impressed by any means! The staff was rude and there are girls training people in this gym that aren’t even certified! That can’t be good! My friend warned me about this place and I should have listened. Watch out for the girl with dark hair. She’ll try and get you to train with her but she’s not certified nor does she work here. The whole situation here seems fishy.

This place just steals your money all the time if you do come here do not get the black card they constantly try and extort you money. Ive had to pay over 200 dollars in overcharge fees because of hidden fees. This planet fitness is the worst and i highly recommend no one invest there hard earned money here. Management here is pathetic. My 17 year old daughter was not allowed to use the tanning rooms, the massage chair, or the massage bed. Why? Because she was 17 years old. Yet legally in the State of Arkansas she is allowed......the FDA and the NCSL (national conference of state legislatures), in Arkansas ALLOWS TANNING BED USAGE WITH MINORS UNDER 18. The sad thing is that the nasty female manager Becka, outright refused to let MY DAUGHTER use the tanning bed citing a law in California which states minor or not allowed to use the tanning beds. She was siting this law ONLY because this company is a national company so they can use laws from other states sadly because they are a national franchise which superseded Arkansas laws. State Law in Arkansas however says minors ARE allow to use the tanning beds. Becka told me they prefer to use the National Law to keep kids out of the tanning beds and not the local Arkansas Laws? So Becka and Planet Fitness when if it is convenient if all the boys begin to wear pink in California are you going to make it a law that everyone who walks into your place needs to wear pink? How stupid can your company get. The kicker here is that ALL my friends with kids have been tanning. One friend I called yesterday who did not renew her membership did not even know this law existed and her daughter tanned for a year at this place. She was shocked to hear what I went through. I have to say that as a new member just joining I was treated horribly and felt manhandled and talked down to. Al the restrictions were just that, restricting. My daughter was very upset when we left because we were talked down to and felt humiliated. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any reason. It was a terrible experience.

Clean with a variety of equipment. Limited free weights is the biggest negative. Make sure to set up with a trainer if you are not familiar with a gym so you can determine a regimen.

Plus they let people just not rack their weights, hog the weights, or in the parking lot let peoplr park in a non parking place cause they dont wanna walk. Do not allow your daughter to workout here. One of the trainers is a complete pervert and made my daughter feel so uncomfortable that she actually quit! Do not allow your young daughters to be there by themselves

So I was initially told by the worker in the gym that I only need to pay the starter fee which about $70, afterwards, it will be just monthly fee $10. If I did not cancel the membership, then, I will be only charged annual fee which is $39. That is all. Then, I was like this is cheap, however, the worker in the gym did not tell me that I actually have to pay both annual fee and monthly fee afterwards. $70 + 12*$10 = $190, thats for people who signed in January, otherwise if you signed in September, then you get charged with annual fee on 1st October, which means that you pay $70 + $10 = $80 for 1 month only -September ; $39 + 12*$10 = $159 (the following years). Also, there is no refund if you cancel it. If I was told with all that information, then I would have the 2nd thought about it. This is crazy!
