Shin is a fantastic hairdresser and Im so pleased with the service that I got from her. Im extremely happy with the color of my hair and she went above and beyond to make sure that she got it right for me, and I really appreciate that. Shes super sweet and fun to talk to, and her shop is clean and professional looking. Definitely worth the money and time to visit - I dont think I would have gotten as good of quality going anywhere else.

Remedy has been one of the best places I’ve been to get a haircut. Shin is very professional and knows what she is doing. She strives to give you what you want and will work with you until it is achieved. She keeps the shop clean and tidy and the prices are very reasonable. I am new to this state and have been seeing shin since I got here, I’m normally very picky with who does my hair but shin has exceeded my expectations. Always going above & beyond, providing excellent results. As well as a safe and open space and relationship between her and client. Words can not describe how much I would recommend her for hair coloring or cuts or waxes. She does amazing work, making sure you’re completely satisfied with the outcome.

I had my hair colored a trendy gray with blue root shadowing and purple highlights at the bottom. Shin did an incredible and thorough job. You can tell she really focuses and cares about her customers. I prefer this experience compared to a bigger hair salon where my stylist was doing multiple appointments throughout mine. I’m in love with my hair and would recommend this place to anyone!

For the past several years our family had only gotten haircuts at a well known chain place that has national advertisements. At this place you can do online checkins and once in a while they will send you a coupon. Our favourite hairdresser stopped working there a few years ago and quite frankly our haircut quality had gone downhill. After some online research we found Remedy and we have been pleased with the results and service ever since. If the whole family gets their haircut there its a little on the pricey side but definitely worth every penny. Shinyoung Avent Is the best and we highly recommend that you and your family give her a chance.

Remedy is an quaint salon found in the up and coming downtown district of Temple. They’re locally owned and operated to the standards you find at high end salons in major cities. The stylist(s)/aesthetician(s) there are very professional with a passion for what they do. I promise you will walk out feeling like a million bucks!!! I have recommended this place to all my friends and family.

Excellent place for a haircut and shave. Shin is very personable with a quality work ethic. She values the customer and never makes you feel rushed. I wont get my haircut by anyone else.

The salon is so cozy and beautiful, and Shin is a phenomenal stylist! Shes got such a keen attention to detail, and gives a perfect, precision cut every time. I love the selection of Aveda products she has on hand. I have loved everything shes suggested and look forward to trying more in my subsequent visits!

Great place to get a haircut and relax

This is such a quiet, homey feeling salon. I get my eyebrows microbladed here as well as waxing. The shop is very welcoming and so nice and cozy. Aveda products as well... temple or surrounding areas go see Shin.
