Louis was extremely helpful knowledgeable he was able to explain to me what needs to be done. I unfortunately have no car experience other than how to put the key in the ignition and start it. I felt like I wasnt being taken advantage of at all. I would recommend Bretts Auto Service and Louis.

We have been taking our 4 vehicles to Louis for several years now & would highly recommend him for any service you may need. He is honest & trust worthy, & has gone out of his way to help us when weve been in a jam. This includes coming to help us on the side of the road when one of our cars died, to completing routine maintenance, to helping us choose a new vehicle by completing inspections & checking codes on his off day, to taking the time & making the arrangements to have our car salvaged when the engine was not repairable (financially worth it for us ). Louis takes the time to educate you about what is going on with your vehicle & discusses in detail what the fix options are and how much they will cost . He truly cares about helping you, & I have never felt like he was hiding any info or over charging me like I have with other mechanics . He has also gone out of his way to help my son choose his first vehicle on his own, educating him about what to look for & warning him of concerns so he didnt purchase a lemon . As long as hes in business he will continue to receive our business.

Honest and quality mechanic. Wasnt here to take my money. Louis gave me an evaluation of my truck, told me what needed to be done, told me the severity of the issue, told me he didnt see the need to pay to fix it for a couple months, I waited a couple months and he got my truck done within 36 hours. He also is willing to show you whats broken and educate you, if youre into that sort of thing. Each visit is a learning experience. He shows me what something should and shouldnt look like but doesnt pressure you into doing one thing or the other. Great place to go if youve had bad experiences with other mechanics. This place is the worst. Spent 4k on a new used engine and in the 11 months we have had it done we have had to spend another 1800 on things that should have been fixed. New cat converter, ac compressor, both head gaskets, 2 heater coolant hoses.. the list goes on. Stay away from this place at all costs.

I have had nothing but great experiences with these guys. I had an issue I couldnt quite figure out with my 90 Miata and they went out of their way to get the car in promptly and fixed. If youre looking for a trustworthy and reasonable mechanic, look no further. I wont take my car anywhere else!

Really cool guy. Sincerely more interested in helping you than in taking your money. Seems very trustworthy, thorough, and knowledgeable.Refrains from simply throwing parts at problems and instead methodically troubleshoots first.

Had to take my car back about 6 times in 2 months because they never did the alternator correctly, damaged my car door and never said anything and just tried to hide it, and did not put the plastic cover on my engine back. I am still finding problems they did to my car two years later. Will never go back and would not recommend.

Came in really in a tough spot and these guys went way out of their way to help me. These are genuinely good people. You dont find service like this anymore.
