Cant believe these jokers are still in business. They convinced me to spend thousands (that I didnt have) on unneeded repairs that 1) did not fix the problem, and 2) ultimately destroyed the engine in my vehicle. When it was still doing EXACTLY the same thing I brought it in for, they said well, that must be a new problem. Would not send my worst enemy here.

My family has been going to Ronnie’s for that last 16 years. I know that they’re going to do a great job and be honest about the work needed. No it’s not always cheap but you can depend on them standing behind their work. Would definitely recommend to everyone

Usually Im apprehensive about talking to mechanics because theyre out to make money, especially since Im on the road a lot.. but I spoke with Rick and he was very straight up with me and actually helped me with my problem without me having to have it serviced. It was a simple fix and all I had to do was go to an auto-parts store. Ill definitely come here before I leave Arizona if I need anything done with my car. Thanks Rick!

After I replaced my alternator with a brand new one from Advance, the bearing squeal came back within minutes. Ive had alternator problems off/on for years, but usually it took two to three years for the alternator to start squealing, but this time it happened within the first few miles! So, I brought my truck to Ronnies Automotive. It was pretty clear from the signs that it would cost me money to diagnose the problem. So, a few hours later I got a call from Rick who said it was definitely the alternator, that they put a stethoscope on it. He also mentioned the idler pulley was going, but still had a lot of life in it.When I came in to pick up the truck, I had a bill for some sixty or so dollars. Again, I fully expected this. Some of the reviewers are incredulous that they actually have to pay for a diagnostic. Then I chatted with Rick. He answered all of my questions about alternators, told me of an experience when he wanted a good alternator for his daughters car, told me of what he learned when he went to a class on alternators and starters, etc. This was a treasure trove of information making the $60 charge well worth my money. This is the kind of information you only get through personal experience and sifting through hundreds of forum posts. So my experience was favorable.

BEWARE... They guy at the counter is a very nice guy and was very personable. I took my car in for an oil change and asked if they could “give me an estimate” on how much it would be to fix my broken AUX port and also the door hinge that opens super fast. They charged me $68 for the oil change and my total bill was $169.77 for “servicing hours” it took to look at the AUX port and the door to come up with an estimate. Be careful. They don’t have many regular customers, just high volume new customers they gouge.

THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST - USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.Had an issue with my power steering going out on my Mercury Cougar. Was charged $900 for the repair - because I use that car for commuting to Deer Valley, I needed to have it fixed ASAP. Within 10 hours of receiving the car back, I experienced the same issue again. Was informed that the cause was in having my engine mounts deteriorate. (Why they couldnt have found this out before taking my original 900 is beyond me.) Was informed that I needed to cough up another grand for the repair, and that they wouldnt apply the original payment to fix their screw-up. If I could give these people zero stars (Google wont let me do so), I would.

Rick is the most fair and honest mechanic Ive met in the valley. Ive taken 3 different vehicles to him for repairs, and will continue to do so. The last time I went there, I didnt have time to wait, so he got me a ride back to work. And when I got off work, they picked me up. Ive never known a repair shop to ever do that. Ive had a fuel pump, starter, and tires replaced, along with AC fixes.

I was running late for work as usual when I accidently put a few gallons of diesel in my gas tank. Crap. What made this worse was that night I was selling the truck and really didn’t have any time to waste. Thank goodness that Ronnie’s was there. They knew exactly what to do. They took off my gas tank, cleaned it out, replaced my filter, and even gave me a few gallons of the proper fuel. I have also used them for many other services and find them consistently honest, timely, and affordable. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Ronnie’s.

WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS. THEY MAY DO MORE TO YOUR CAR THAN YOU BARGAINED FOR...SUCH AS FIND OUT ALL KINDS OF STUFF WRONG WITH YOUR VEHICLE TO PAD YOUR BILL. BEEN THERE TWICE, NO GOOD BOTH TIMES. CAR STEERING WHEEL AND FLOOR MATS WERE BOTH TIMES COVERED IN GREASY FOOT & HAND PRINTS-YOU WILL HAVE TO WASH YOUR HANDS, STEERING WHEEL, AND FLOOR MATS WHEN YOU GET HOME. SLOW AS MOLASSES TO PAY AND PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE. I DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. GET A SECOND OPINION.

DO NOT GO HERE. They will take advantage of you if they think you dont know anything about cars. They did a diagnostic on my vehicle (which cost an extra $110, even if you get the work done there) and told me my intake manifold was cracked near where the brake booster connects. Rick gave me a $1300 quote for repair. I knew that was unlikely and got a second opinion on it. Turns out it was just a bad gasket on my PCV valve, which cost under $400 to repair. On top of that, Rick told me a new intake manifold was $690 from the dealer, that he made no money off dealer parts, and couldnt even give me a 10% discount for being a student. But when I called the dealer myself, they told me a new intake manifold costs $490!I understand mechanics have to make money, but not by being crooked and dishonest. They did not tell me that the diagnostic fee COULD NOT be applied to any repairs, which is not usual at most places, in addition to a wrong diagnosis and overall lack of care and customer service.

First I would give Ronnies auto repair 30 stars if I could! One guys opinion shouldnt matter but mine does Ive been taking my truck there for like I dont know 4 years now, and I couldnt be happier with the service and honesty Ive found in Ronnies auto repair!Theses guyes are the only ones I let touch my truck, from simple repairs to the major ones that Ive had done, my truck was almost falling apart when I took it to them and now its almost like new! I get sick of people who like to make things up to make others look bad when they are not! If you want your vehicleTo run like mine does then take it to Ronnies auto repair!

Do not go here. They charged me a $100 diagnostic fee and then told me there is nothing wrong with my car when there clearly is. So now my problem is not fixed and I spent all that money for nothing.
