I feel kind of bad writing this because my technician was very nice (the only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1). There were quite a few issues with my visit. They dont take cards, so I had to leave and go get money in order to pay. This normally wouldnt be an issue but NO ONE told me this over the phone when I made my appointment. The salon itself was VERY dirty. All the shelves and most counters had a layer of dust and debris on it, the carpet had tons of stains, and the chairs were all stained as well. My final issue is my actual nails. I showed a picture of what I wanted and got literally nothing close to it except for the length. All of my nails are uneven, asymmetrical, and just generally look really bad. I got them done yesterday and tonight Im planning on going somewhere else to get them fixed. There are tons of 5 star reviews, and I trusted the ratings on google (4.3 stars!!), but these reviews come from older women who are just loyal to the business.Shown in the pictures is what I wanted (shape) and this is what I got
Great nail technician had an appointment War mask and and out nice atmosphere
My mom has been going here since I was born & Ive been going for over 10 years. These ladies know their stuff & do it well. It may take a little bit of time to get in, but it is worth it.
I have been escaping to Tonya’s Nail Salon for many years! When I say escaping that is exactly what I mean. Tonya and her staff have created an atmosphere of relaxation, good conversation plus a safe and clean environment to have my nails done. I have never had any infections or had any of the problems that I have heard and seen from other salons. Tonya’s is American owned and operated. I have been to other salons – the ones you see in every strip shopping center – English is not the primary language. The techs do not speak to you – they speak to each other in their home dialect so you never know if they are talking about you or not!Tonya’s is a locally owned salon where you can go, relax, have a glass of wine, great conversation and know that your nails are getting the pampering they deserve! It is a great place to spend a little time, have fun and get pampered!!
My friend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday to Tonyas. She and I made appointments together for mani/pedi. A treat for me from 3 little ones at home. She had gone there for many years and always spoke about her wonderful friends there. She was so right. Everyone made me feel so welcome, even the clients treat you like they have always known you. We had such fun. We had wine to start off our evening and then a relaxing pedicure and manicure. I even indulged in a paraffin wax treatment, that was super nice! Sharon even put acrylic on a toenail that had been stomped by my 4 year old and most of it was missing, yeah, I can wear sandals again. I have been to other salons and felt like I was just a number and rushed, the services at Tonyas were wonderful and we even stayed for a while after (taking advantage of hubby home with kids) just hanging out with the other clients. Definitely my new salon!
