I used to go there years ago.. I was hoping the nail tech was still there, She was amazing.. I was told she moved.. So I went against my better judgement and they talked me into it anyway.. Very bad choice I made that day.. I had to go see a Doctor and get antibiotics.. it has been a few months since it happened, I thought long and hard before posting this review.. I know its a family business, I do believe you work very hard.. I have known you for years.. so I dont understand why you would let someone under experienced hurt me that was an extremely painful experience..

I live in South Tampa, less than a mile from the base and I drive to this nail salon because they always do a FANTASTIC job! They take their time to be sure you get the best nail service possible.

Quick and the work was sufficient!I was in and out and they were friendly to my kids ! I found my new nail salon 🤩

The worst manicure I’ve gone in my life. This place is a joke the lady I just had today was not professional she got upset when I told her to fix my nails that was just rushing the entire time I was careless throughout the whole process I would never be back or recommend this place.

Awsome spot never disappointing with service..

I bring my mom with dementia and several stroke in the left side of her entire body for get done her nails and was awe full the service,polish very bad quality, as soon as we leave the place all nails is damaged and the polish removed of place. They charged me 78 dollars for these unprofessional work, also I came back same day to communicate these to husband owner of the salon and he don’t offered me any excuse or concession. All of them just is stilling the people money. I never comeback to this place and I’m going to prevent that all people that I know don’t visit them either. DELINCUENTS.

I love this place! Everyone is very nice and the quality is amazing. I followed my nail tech Diane here because shes awesome, but the entire team is wonderful and wont disappoint.

My nail technician is Ni. She is a wonderful and caring person. She does flawless manicure and pedicure. Diane is taking her place for a few weeks. She is also kind, caring and attentative and does a great job.

Best experience ever!! I hate that I don’t live here or I most definitely would be a repeat customer! Not to say next time we’re in Tampa I won’t make a visit! I had the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had also my nails done. Thank you Sylvia for taking such attention and care!! The shop is very clean and everyone was so nice. Prices were more than reasonable!! Weve been going to Sun Nails for more than 8 years. The owners are extremely friendly and personal. Their work are also great and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I love getting my pedicure here every 2 weeks or once a month. She takes her time and does a very good job! Very relaxing. Not too much noise either.

Absolutely love Sun Nails & Spa! Ill never go to another nail salon again. Everyone is extremely talented and friendly. Great quality. You can go there and expect the nails to last forever. Silvia is my favorite nail tech. She’s awesome at freestyles. I will always drive the 40 mins out of my way to go her because i know I’m getting quality work. Anywhere else I’ve gone nails fall off in less than a week since my nails are so thin. However, she takes her time and knows what she’s doing and they last!!!! They’re clean, doesn’t smell and, plenty of polish to choose from. Highly reccomend going!

I absolutely love this place. I looked for a nail salon for a while when 1st moved down from NYC, but was very fortunate to have found Sun Nails over 5 yrs ago. From the technicians, to the owners and especially their services, you can always expect the greatest treatment!!!!

My sister and I have been coming to Sun Nails and Spa for over a year now and it is by far the best spa I have been to. The atmosphere is relaxing, everyone is really nice, and the owner is super friendly, always smiling and speaks fluent english and spanish. I LOVE coming here and Sylvia never disappoints. You can show her what you want and she can do it. Prices are also really reasonable. Definitely recommend Sun Nails and Spa!

I have been coming here for nearly 6 months.. I wont be returning.. When they get busy they rush and dont care about the service that they provide.. I spent $38.00 for absolutely nothing.. Im literally in my car sitting in front writing this review.. When the nail tech completed my gel polish it was not dry.. Therefore, the lint from my jeans got on my nails.. I explained this to the male owner.. He painted over it.. Now.. I have lint under the polish.. He tells me that its just a shadow.. The worst paint job that Ive ever received from them.. Im disgusted and disappointed.. Ive spent hundreds of dollars as I always get gel, pedicure, and brows.. I also tip everyone that services me $5.. I am so disgusted.. I started to charge it on my credit card and dispute it. I plan on calling and speaking to the manager and explaining to her why I will not be returning..

10 dollars just to sit in the massage chair for 30 minutes when absolutely no one but 2 other people were in there not including me and my girl who was getting a fill. Then he got mad cause she wasant done so I got the remote and turned the chair back on.

I followed my nail girl to this new location and I am soooo happy I did!! Sylvia is the best out here in Tampa Bay. She takes her time, very personalable she makes suggestions, but at the end she’ll do EXACTLY what you ask for! And she is amazing at designs. I challenge her every two weeks and she never fails. My pedicures are also great! There’s no rushing like other nail salons you may go to; they are the best!

Ive been a licensed nail tech and Cosmologist for over 20 yrs. With that being said Im super picky about who does my nail and how clean a place is. Its been several years that Ive been getting my pedicures done here on the monthly bases. Its like Cheers the t.v. show I always feel welcome. They clean foot tubs after every client which is why I like to go here. Anna is my tech and does an amazing job. Stop by and say hi you will feel welcomed too.

This place is horrible!!! I went there after moving to Tampa and was told that the french manicure I got done in the state I previously lived in was done wrong and needed to come off. After ending up paying for a full set of pink gel nails I noticed that the white tips were flaking off my thumb nails just a few days later. To make matters worse the gel on my left thumb cracked and I had half a nail for a few days before I could go to get it fixed. I am a believer in second chances so I tried again, hoping that since this place is close to my work and home it would do better. They not only charged me to fix their mistake but my nails looked bad, all striped in apperance and again the white tips flaked off (even though I had a clear gel top put on both times) and one of the gel nails cracked again. Never will I return to this place. They clearly do not know how to do nails and the girl doing them was far more focused on her homelands version of American Idol than she was on doing a good job on my nails. The place I am now going to laughed at the job done here and followed-up by an equally bad nail salon (NY Nails). DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! UNSANITARY!! My husband and I went for pedicures and, upon placing our feet in the tubs to soak, realize that both of our pedicure tubs had dirt and white flakes (presumably the dead skin of the last client) still in the water. A TON OF IT ALL THROUGHOUT THE WATER!! This is disgusting!! We immediately walked out and doused our feet in hand sanitizer. Completely unacceptable and will be filing a complaint to the state dept in charge of licensing. SO DISGUSTING!!!

Decided to give this place a try monday,the girl cut my finger about 4 different times.it looked ok when I left but I already decided I wouldnt go back.the nail Polish started bubbling later that day I thought about going to get it fixed then decided just to repolish myself.3 days later the acrylic she used just started crumbling off.they use cheap products probaly expired, and just dont seem to really care.spend your money somewhere itll be worth it.dont throw it away here.
