Francisco cut my hair and I absolutely loved it, my sister were very happy as well with Jose’s job. I have a puppy that is dear to me. I frequently park behind Serenity Day Spa as there are handicapped spots to use when I go for training at the YMCA. When I want to bring my dog, I use the “dog mode” in my Tesla that climate controls the car AND places a big sign on the dash showing “My owner will be right back and I am in a comfortable space at 72 degrees. “. The letters are about 2” tall. The manager of sSerenity called the police to report me for animal abuse. Apparently she cannot read! They came and were very nice. They said she was wrong and that I was doing nothing wrong Clearly the manager was not well informed. My physical therapy was ruined and she probably caused my dog more stress than the leaf blower she said was scaring the dog. And she wasted valuable sheriff time. My wife used to go there but will no more. Clearly not enough to do!

Tried out this salon today completely based off of google reviews, and I’ve got to say it did not disappoint. Jose was my hair stylist and he was amazing; he was both hilarious and a knowledgeable stylist who was able to fix the damage to my hair done by another salon. I was laughing the whole trip and left feeling confident and beautiful. I will definitely be back

I had an AMAZING experience with Preeti Patel she was very informative on skin care and her hands are just wonderful!! I had a microdermabrasion with her and she did an outstanding job!! Would definitely recommend her and I will be returning to see her!!

I am new to the area and dont often have time on the weekends to get my hair done, so I was so happy to see that I was able to get an appointment on a Sunday when most other salons are closed.First of all, they have the nicest staff I have ever met at a salon. The sweet girl at the front desk was warm and welcoming in such a genuine way from the moment I walked in and so professional.Next, Jose and Francisco are absolute rock stars. These guys are not only so unbelievably talented, but they make you and everyone else feel like a million bucks from the moment they meet you. I saw these guys treating everyone with such class and care, all the customers were happy and in a good mood- it was a wonderful atmosphere. The salon is so beautiful with lots of natural lighting, and everything was so clean and updated. Francisco did my highlights and he was a genius. He was SO FAST and SO PRECISE! I was stunned...I have never had highlights done that quickly and come out so well. Im usually there for hours and hours, and this was such a change. Jose cut my hair, also, so fast and he did such a beautiful job and styled it in such a glamorous way- they both truly care about their customers and it shows! They work so well as a team, and honestly I felt lucky and honored to have had this random chance to have my hair done here, because I was only looking for whatever was open on a Sunday! Also, the girl who washed my hair is extremely talented too...I wish I knew her name, but she scrubbed my scalp in such a relaxing way and took such great care in her work- this made a great impression on me.I will absolutely go back here from now on, and I have nothing but the most wonderful things to say about everyone who works here. Jose is the best hair dresser Ive ever had. I never know how to describe the look I want but he just knows what will look best. I just show up, sit down and he has me in and out in 30 minutes or less on my lunch break always looking great. Hes lots of fun to hang out with, I always look forward to my appointments. Would recommend to anyone for an expert, professional mens cut.

I have had a wonderful experience at Serenity Salon and Spa since my move in July. Jose has been my stylist and made me feel right at home my first visit. Being new to the area, I was nervous about trying a new stylist, but Jose listened to what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations! I loved my color. All staff are friendly and warm. I highly recommend this salon.

My most recent visit was not my first one. I had come here before for hair services and loved my experience. My partner also comes here regularly for haircuts and always has a wonderful time with his stylist. That being said, my most recent experience was horrifying in regards to their customer service. After my partner had been notified that his normal hair cut price was going up by 7$, he was fine with that due to his overall consistently enjoyable experiences here. That being said, I also had a hair appointment, however I was advised to just get a trim. The trim took overall no more than 5 minutes and no more than the dead ends were trimmed off. Throughout the few minutes I was there, we discussed when I should be coming back for hair masks, cut, color and so forth and planning and mapping out the other hair services I would be needing until November. After the trim and conversation, I was slapped with a full 60$ bill. I was shocked, I had promised repeat business not just for myself but for my partner as well within the coming year and they still treated a trim that literally only took a few minutes out of their day as a full service cut. No styling, no washing, no nothing, just the trim. 60$. WOW. If thats not borderline extortion, color me shocked. We were both surprised by this and have decided to take our business elsewhere because they clearly did not value me as a repeat customer at this location, then I will no longer be one.

Everyone at Serenity is customer conscious and makes you feel welcome. Appointments are super easy to make and the salons hours fits every kind of work schedule. No more waiting for Tuesdays to get someone to answer the phone! I have been seeing Jose for 2 years. Jose is a true artist. He listens to what you want and then adds his special touch! I switch up my cut and color frequently. Jose has always come through for me. Beautifully! Francisco also makes magic. I will continue to book at this salon for all my hair needs. Give Jose and Francisco a try. Youll be happy you did.

I’m sorry but what the- is wrong with the ladies in the front. VERY RUDE! And unprofessional! I came inside with someone who was getting a perm done. I was very respectful of the corona rules and did not go in the back with the hairdresser, I just stayed in the lobby minding my business waiting for her to be done. I caught the receptionist snickering and gossiping, which is absolutely not allowed in a professional setting. They then told me to leave the store even tho I was in the lobby well over 6 feet away from anyone. This is ridiculous. Don’t recommended at all:)

Great color and cut in a friendly upbeat environment! Cory does my highlights and keeps my hair looking fresh with color that holds. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for....glad I found someone I can trust with my hair.

Im always nervous to try a new stylist I dont know... But serenity is great! Everyone was sweet, I received a fantastic cut, color & style. Overall it was a great experience.. They made sure I was comfortable and happy with every aspect of my hair.. I love it! Perfect location nestled right in the West Chase community. Next time Im in town I will definitely be back!

Francisco was fantastic! I have never had my hair highlighted before and I am so fortunate that I ended up at this salon with him. He did wonderful, natural work and made me feel at ease. I received many compliments on my haircut and highlights as well. Moreover, they treat you right and make you feel pampered. Francisco was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Amazing Stylists! If youve been looking for that special place to have your hair done; cut to perfection, colored to perfection, and styled to perfection, this is it! I have curly hair and its proven a challenge for many stylists, however, Francisco knows just what to do. I constantly receive compliments on my color and curls. I see the clients of the other stylists, especially Jose, and they look AMAZING! All the staff is kind, fun, and professional. They even offer you a cold drink while you get your hair done and delightful conversation.

My friend and I went for our birthdays and it was amazing. Our pedicures were perfect. After her massage my friend said it was the best and most relaxing one she has ever had. I had a facial with Preeti(she is phenomenal)and loved it too. Will definitely be going back again.

Having a gift card for Tranquility Salon & Spa, (now Serenity Salon & Spa) I called the salon to verify its validity. The unknown woman I spoke with on the phone said the card would still be accepted if it was on their system. She looked up my card number and verified that it was indeed in their system and had a value of $160. I wanted to surprise my husband with a few hours at the spa so made an appointment for the following day. After the services, I handed the lady at the desk my gift card. She said they no longer take them. I informed her I was just told the day before that I was able to use the gift card. She was able to look up my card in her system and still refused to take it. I had to urge her to call the owner and even try to correct the matter. I wish I could include her name in this review because her customer service skills were horrendous at best. Finally calling the owner, the card was still refused and no further effort to satisfy a (former)customer was made. Ive never in my life witnessed a business not at least try to offer something when they were at fault. I will never visit this spa again and all my friends who live in the Westchase area will know as well.

This place is awesome! Everyone is friendly, outgoing and professional. The have the best hair technicians who truly care and understand your hair needs. They consult you and provide guidance and advice. I’ve been coming to this location for about a year and a half and wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s in all in one place! They do my nails (mani/pedi), facial, eyebrow threading, and massage. I’m truly honored to work with Jose and Francisco, they’re amazing, caring and very smart!I recommend this place! This salon has really friendly and talented staff. Diana was able to fix a color nightmare that I got done at another salon in a couple of hours and for a very reasonable price. I was very concerned that it was going to be a long expensive process, but she ensured me it was not that bad and that she could definitely get me back to the look I had originally wanted. My first experience at a hair salon in Tampa and WOW! Francisco and Jose worked to get my hair back to its super blonde roots. They succeeded and provided the best customer service while doing so. They were down to earth and took great care of me and my mom. I will be going back and plan to recommend them to anyone!

Love the salon, the stylist are charming and lovely but I was not happy with my highlights, I had spent 2 years growing out my hair from years of coloring. It ended up silver but not as much as I had hoped. I had scheduled a hair cut with Jose, he said I was down for highlights, I said NO finally have natural hair....but I gave it to the temptation...it is hard to break old habits. I asked specifically if it would be SILVER ? yes, but no, itwas gold in spots and the silver never matched my own silver like I had thought. Went to repeat a second time, once again left with pale yellow, I have blond hair again ! I am so disappointed and I dont want my hair to have to be further dried out or damaged again what to do?

It was my first time at Serenity Spa tonight and it was amazing! I just went for a simple haircut after a long day of work and Francisco made me feel relaxed and refreshed all at once. Everyone was so friendly and Ill definitely be coming back again. 5 stars for sure!

Recieved a gift card and decided to schedule a massage however after 10 minutes of waiting for my appointment (after confirming) I was informed that the masseuse had a bug and would not be there. A heads up would have been appreciated so as not to waste anyones time. Perhaps Serenity should just stick with hair. Needless to say I will not be returning.

This is my first review ever because I absolutely had to write about my stylist Michelle, youll know who Im talking about because she has the sweetest British accent. Ive been going to her for a few years (followed her from her old salon to here at Serenity) and shes brilliant. She knows so much about hair down the the biological composition which is how shes able to perfectly advise on what products/dyes to use to keep your hair healthy and looking beautiful. Ive bleached and dyed my hair to the point where it felt like straw and after one appointment with her my hair felt like real hair again, and the best part is she taught me and advised me on the products to use to keep my hair that way even out of the salon. Shes truly passionate about what she does and is very knowledgable which makes her the best stylist Ive ever had.

I had a great experience...I called, per recommendation of a friend, and told Jennifer what I wanted and she picked a stylist to match. I was matched with Diana and I just loved her. She had a great personality and a lot of great tips...and it was the best haircut and experience Ive ever had. Im very glad I was referred here and will definitely be back :)

The most disappointing hair salon experience I have encountered. The cut was terrible, not what we discussed and a bad style given my hair type and lifestyle. The color was also not as agreed. I was hoping I could live with it, however the more I looked in the mirror, the more I hated it. I called and they seemed willing to make it right and so I left work early to make the appointment. Boy was I wrong! When I arrived, I was met in the lobby and not taken to the back. The “gentleman” did nothing but argue with me and basically told me I was wrong. He was completely unwilling to listen and work with me; Very poor attitude. When I tried to explain, he told me that he “must not be the one for me”. It soon became very clear to me that he had no intentions of redoing color. As the situation escalated, I had no choice but to leave. I simply don’t understand why it was taken so personally, I just wanted the color corrected.I would not be surprised if this individual had other similar encounters, it really was quite unprofessional.

I have to say Ive lived in Florida for more years than I can count and I have NEVER been so overwhelmingly happy about my hair!!! Michelle, formally from Salon Metro, I cannot thank you enough for working with my hair over the last several months. My hair has been abused by so many amateur stylists! Michelle has turned it around and no matter where I go people stop and ask where I get my hair done. Michelle is a true artist and gives you the look that just makes you stunning!The salon is very nice with friendly staff too!

I’ve been going to this salon (not really sure how long maybe a couple years) and I will continue to go there for years to come. Jose is my hairdresser and I couldn’t imaging going to anyone else. He was the first person to ever really color my hair, and he is the only person I will trust with my hair. I am blonde and continue to remain blonde, and he will listen to my complaints and requests regarding my hair. Francisco does my mother’s hair and she is always happy with her experience. Always have a good time coming here and would never imagine going anywhere else. Pretti does my eyebrows and she is the sweetest. She listens to my requests and I’ve referred people to her because she is amazing! Overall love this salon and the staff and I hope they remain in west park village for years to come.

This salon is the best! I came in with a completely messed up color trying to go from red to blonde. Jose and Francisco worked a miracle and got me to the color I wanted without totally destroying my hair and in time for my vacation. No one else will ever do my hair but them =)

They was weird people I dont understand why they open hair salon they was afraid to touch my hair just . because I show them a picture of what i want because it was really hard to find a good hair salon after all the places Ive been, it was horrible . And they talked on me behind my back. Really not nice people.

Another wonderful afternoon spent with francisco and jose. They are amazing hair dressers, always helpful and go above and beyond their job. My color and cut today are fantastic. Even the work they have done on my kids has been amazing. Love it here.

Sent my daughter here (a very pricey Christmas gift) and she came home in tears. She has very long curly naturally blonde hair, which I specified when I made the appointment. She wanted a good cut and to darken up some of the sun lightened parts. I did some research and found on Serenitys site that they had a stylist who claims to specialize in blondes, difficult curly and short hair.I am giving one star because the color looks good. But the experience was a nightmare. She was there for 3.5 hours. After coloring and washing her hair, my daughter had multiple stylists ripping through her hair to comb it out. If you know curly hair, as this stylists description touts, you know to section it and start gently combing from the bottom up. Nope, not at Serenity. Here they start at the top and rip downward. My daughters hair ripped out out, broke off and her scalp turned blood red. And, worst of all, she left in tears.When I called to speak to the owner, Melissa, about our experience, she defended her stylist, and instead blamed my daughters hair for being kinky and dry. Really? I have attached a photo. Yes, it is blonde so maybe a bit dry but there is absolutely nothing kinky about her curls!We paid top dollar - $250 - for this experience. But I suppose the insults were free!

Best salon to get your hair done right!!

I am extremely dissapointed with this Salon and their unprofessionalism. I have been going to see them for years so I referred my sister to them and because of a bad hair dye that went wrong they decided to call me cancel my hair appt last minute and have advised they do not want to work with me anymore. It was extremely saddened and surprised that a salon would turn around and end their services with a client over a misunderstanding they had with a family member of mine. Especially canceling my hair appt last minute without notice! Left messages to speak to the manager and I have yet to hear from her. It was not fair nor right for them to end services with me over a misunderstanding with someone else, that shows how professional they are.
