Nicole is absolutely phenomenal! I showed her a picture of what I wanted as inspiration, but with a bit of a twist. And she exceeded my expectations! I will always prebook ahead of time when I’m needing something outside my normal gel mani/pedi service. This spa is extremely accommodating and professional. I have not had any issues whatsoever and I am always welcomed in with nothing but positivity. This is my go-to spot and I always refer this place to my friends and family for their nail needs. If I could rate this higher, it would be 10/5 stars!

I work at a school near the salon and pass it all the time was recommended to go there by a co-worker and absolutely loved my experience! My technician Stephanie was AMAZING. She was very thorough, took her time to make sure my nails were to my satisfaction, and I loved her attention to detail! Ive been to several salons and none quite got my nails, especially my natural nails, to look exactly how I desired them, even down to the shape. But Stephanie did exactly that and I think Ive found my favorite nail tech! Thank you Stephanie!

It was so easy to do business here! I sent a message through their website and received immediate attention! Lily was fantastic with my husband and I for our pedicures and even allowed me to add on a gel nail at the last minute!

I had to wait 45 minutes after being told the wait was 5-10. My nails were fine but after my friends nail was literally coming off the employee that did her nails told her that she was imagining it. Right when she came home, the nail snapped off. She paid $40. 2 other nails were crooked and also coming off. My other friend got her nails down too and they were very messy and not what she asked for. After she went in to complain, they told her that it was the top coat they used.

I went to this nail spa for the first time with my friends and I got acrylics. After I got them done I realized both of my ring fingers were crooked, wiggling, and about to fall off. After I told the lady she decided it was ok to tell me I was just imagining it and my nails were actually fine. I even confided with my friends and they told me it looked weird too and felt loose but the employees ignored me. When I got home both of the acrylics fell off. I paid $40 for these nails and they didn’t try to fix it or give me a discount. The employees are very inappropriate and rude when they talk to you.

Nicole is the BEST!!! She came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. She was so patient and kind. I’m obsessed with my nails! She listens to what you want goes above and beyond that. I will definitely be back.

Thursday August 20, 2020: I had a family member who frequents this business often for her nails who have a very unprofessional and unethical experience. First of all she was left in the store with one male nail technician after hours. This is poor business practice. Once a business is closed, customers should never be left alone. She arrived an hour and a half before closing time and was somehow kept an hour past closing. The nail sessions usually do not last this long. As soon as the last employee left the store, he started talking about all kinds of inappropriate things and made her feel extremely uncomfortable. He even offered a neck massage with some kind of cream. That is simply not okay. She didnt know how to respond and was actually scared. She called me to let me know that the appointment was running late, that she was starting to feel uncomfortable. I told her to get things wrapped up asap and leave. Soon after the session was done and she was on her way home. Afterwards, she spoke to me about the experience and explained in detail what was said. There are consequences for choosing to disrespect someone to the point that they feel scared. This review will be followed up with her and her boyfriend confronting the male technician and this business about the incident later today. Furthermore, if swift action is not taken by the business to resolve the issue, I will also be reporting to the BBB. As no physical assault had transpired, the police can not be involved. However, it is prudent for the business to make sure that such things do not happen again, as many of these situations can escalate quickly. Any type of unwanted, inappropriate behavior should not be tolerated.

I went to have a full set the guy said do the dipping instead of acrylic i asked why he said more natural and nicer i was okay with, the girl who did it for me didn’t listen to what im asking for i showed her a picture and asked for the same round shape, i got terrible nails still payed what they asked for it was 45$ and its not even a week since i did which was last sunday and it started to fall of, its not shaped the way i wanted and its nit smooth surface ups and downs cause she didnt fill it properly worst experience never going back again 👎🏻

I love this shop. Its a nice atmosphere, the staff are nice, prices are reasonable, and they do a great job. I became a regular customer after my first visit. 💜

They really do a good job on nails here. The place looks very nice. However, when compared to other salons in the area I feel like you could get a little more for your money in the other places. For example, when I get a manicure I usually receive a trim of dead skin around cuticles and a simple massage on my arms and hands that is included with a manicure, but that was not the case I pure nail bar. We also had to wait a bit longer than I normally do and other nail salons. All in all I would definitely go back again because I really do like my nails, just wish I got a little more for the money.

Absolutely loved it, I go all the time for pedicures, at least once a month because of ingrown toenails, our daughter Tessa has a birthday coming up, part of her birthday gift was being able to go to Pure Nail Bar and get a manicure before school started back wish granted.The experience at pure Nail Bar is always good the staff very nice and courteous, for the ladies youre going to love it and for the dads if you have ingrown toenails pure Nail Bar is the place to go be sure and ask for Amy she is the best.

I never write reviews but my experience here was exceptionally pleasant. I visited PNS today for the second time however today I needed a full set and luxury pedicure service. I went here twice with very opposite experiences. The first time I went I called before to ask about the wait, I was told there wasnt one and when I arrived I waited for 45 minutes before someone started my nails. Phillip did a great job, my nails were perfect.The second time I went, there wasnt a wait, but the customer service was terrible. I asked the lady a question regarding my nail refill and she literally BLEW up. She started yelling and threw down the brush while storming away in the middle of my service. I left with my nails half done and went to another nail salon nearby where they not only answered my question but fixed my nails properly.

There is high turnover and poor service. Never had the same person twice for my pedicure (4th visit). Last week for my birthday pedicure, tech yanked my foot and knocked my phone from my lap into the water. I had not realized it was my phone she was fishing for in the water. Just handed me the phone and a towel. Will NEVER return there! No apology nothing. Grace of God and old phone kept me from acting an idiot. Rice didnt work... need New 0hone.

I loved my nail tech she was so amazing and funny to work with she held a great conversation and we bonded really well. the only thing was i asked for coffin and my nails came out crooked and they were not even as they were not shaved all the way to make it looked smooth. Also there were left over glue all over my nails that made them stick to everything.

Looks great. Very pretty place. But this location is exactly why you shouldnt judge a book by its cover. I paid $100 for a pedicure, gel polish, and a dip powder french on my hands. Two of nails broke that same day. The technician did not do the style I wanted, nor the length I wanted and overall, my nails looked extremely mediocre for the price I paid. Now, about a week later, all of nails are cracking and chipping, and the paint on my toes looks bad and worn for having been gel polish. They have wonderful colors. And thats about it.Worst place ever. Biggest waste of time and money that Ive ever spent. My nails did not last even close to two weeks.

Loved my mani pedi with Mary! Ive spent 8 months visiting different salons. I believe Ive found THE one. Mary did a great job technically, she was always concerned with my comfort, and she made the entire experience relaxing and refreshing. The salon was clean, serene, and customer-service oriented. I noticed they provided a towel to a customer in a dress so she wasnt flashing herself, an inevitability when youre getting a pedicure and moving your legs in a raised chair. Brilliant solution Ive never seen at any other salon.

First time there, it was an amazing experience. Im a very picky person and OCD so most of the nail salons Ive been to leave bubbles or its not exactly what I wanted, but the nail stylist was the best she was kind and very professional. She made sure my nails were on perfect and they are!! Definitely going back again and recommending to all the ladies I know ❤

The nail technicians were nice during the gel mani/polish pedi for my 2 daughters and myself, but results were short-lived. My daughter’s (9 and 8) gel nails were completely gone by day 2 and mine starting chipping by day 1. We are now 5 days in, and my nails continue to chip. I’ve never had a gel mani look so bad after such a short period of time. We went an hour before close so suspect they rushed through it; there was little to no prep and buffing of the nails. Disappointed after spending $150+. This will be the last time going there.

I was pretty excited to try out this salon when I received a gift certificate, Im always looking for a good local place to frequent, I guess Ill keep looking. I was the only person getting a pedicure that wasnt offered something to drink, the tech talked in a different language to the tech next to him, which I find extremely rude, then when I checked out and gave him the gift card he took and just said, ookay. Not even a thank you coming in, come back and see us...nothing. Hopefully he was smart enough to realize why he didnt get tipped.

I got my nails done twice at this place, first impression was great, it was very clean and the employees were really nice but my nail cracked in half the same day that I got it done and I called them and they said they would fix it for free, I went in again and the same day they fixed it it broke again without me doing anything to it. I have never had that problem at other nails salon but I decided to give them one more try because they said my nail broke because it had acrylic from my last nail tech. I listened to them and took off all the nails so they can do a fresh set and they only lasted 2 weeks and my nails were already falling off. Im use to having nails for 3 weeks to 1 Month and they look a lot better then the job that they did. Plus one of the employees were really rude to us. For pedicure I recommend this place but dont bother with acrylic nails or shellac because my friends nail chipped with the shellac too two weeks later.

I visited this establishment about 2 weeks ago service was great. Today I return with my husband to continue being a customer and the service was horrible I cant even begin to explain horrible. First of all when you walked in there was technicians that wasnt working they didnt greet me they looked at you like what are you doing here. When I request the guy that did my nails the first time and I was pleased with the service. I was told hes with a client. So I decided not to get my nails redone and only have my husband feet done. The girl did a half-ass job and when I asked for my nails to be removed I guess is the owner had an attitude. He even snatch the receipt from me when I paid and was leaving. I will drive an hour away to go to lake County and get my nails done then to give them my money ever again. Very poor customer service.

Go here for gel polish. I have had regular manicure/pedicures from here and they are okay, but the gel polish is fabulous. It really holds up, they can do patterns and designs, and they take reservations. Note: they have lost my reservations before, but still got me with a nail technician quickly. I had to try a couple of different NTs before I found one who does exactly what I want.

This is my 2nd time going to that nail salon. I have been looking for a place with great service and good quality nails for sooooo long. I have had my acrylics for about 2 weeks now and the regular nail polish hasn’t chipped. I am a very active person so this was very pleasing to me. The inside is very modern and the costumer service is AMAZING! I will never EVER go to another nail salon!!

My name is Bethany and I have been going to Pure Bar for my mani/pedi/waxing needs for a year and a half now. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I see Hannah, who is an angel and excellent at what she does. Theo is also wonderful with nail art and I have heard that Julie is also great. All of the staff are very friendly and skilled, it is always so clean and I highly recommend my favorite pedicure, the milk and honey! You will not be disappointed with Pure Bar. I bring out of town visitors here and they are always so happy with their visit. If going on a weekend, please call to make an appointment as they tend to get very busy very fast. Ten out of ten!

I took my daughter to get a pedi and mani for her birthday which was great no issues with the services given to her (she loved her nails). I decided to get my nails re-done and one of the male nail techs decided to do my nails. Id noticed his attitude beforehand but figured maybe something had happened...things happen... whatever. He started doing my nail removal and was snatching off my nails and design with some metal scissor looking tool. This freaking guy was so rough that by the time hed gotten to the third nail Id had enough. My fingers were actually hurting. He gave me an excuse mixed with sarcasm about the design on my nails being hard to remove. Now I rarely even get my nails done but when I do its pretty simple. At that time I had gel nails and rhinestone design on each ring finger. Nothing extravagant. I snatched my hand and told him not to worry about my nails Id get them done later (of course at another nail salon). He asked was I sure and I said positive. Shortly after he left the building. As it turns out the other staff felt a way about his behavior but no one said anything to him.They talked amongst each other back and forth for a while. Then, one of the other nail techs apologized for that grown man and offered to do my nails. She removed the paint and design in probably less than 5 minutes with some nail polish remover. This was my first time at this nail salon and my very last. A couple of the staff did speak to me about the incident and seemed upset at the guys behavior, and I did let them know that a person with his attitude will cause them to lose lots of business in the future. They seemed very receptive but I had the feeling that hes behaved badly on other occasions as well. The salon looks very nice but that experience didnt sit well with me. I did appreciate the others who apologized and attempted to rectify the situation because they were very kind.

I had an awful experience here. My tech spoke zero English, I did not understand a single word she said. She was rough and unprofessional. Paid extra $2 because I picked a pink color, according to her, it is a difficult color to use, so I have to pay extra. My nail color looks messy. The fan they use to dry nails does dry them well. Basically, I should not believed the good reviews here and go there. Never again.

I cant believe how they just turned my frown upside down!! I was frustrated at 1st but I talked to a manager and he literally fixed everything for me!! DEFINITELY NOT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! Thank you so muchh!!!

Ive been to this salon a few times and while I was impressed with the appearance, the services didnt quite match. My first visit was a pedicure where the tech used the nippers on my toes so aggressively that they were tender and red for a few days after the service. I went again last weekend for a shellac manicure and girl they assigned to me didnt look thrilled to have a client. She didnt take her time at all and rushed through my service. She did not clean up the color or top coat from around my cuticles so as my nails have grown out, the polish is lifting and starting to peel. She also didnt go over the tips of my nails so theres been lifting there as well. I went as a walk in after my hair appointment next door but I will probably go somewhere a little closer to home next time.

The nail tech was extremely rude to me, she wasnt thorough in explaining my first experience with having my natural nails done in which she recommended having a diamond treatment applied in which I had never heard of. Needless to say it turned out to be a disaster. Communication is key to satifisfying the customer, communication lacked therefore my nails did not turn out as I wanted. To add insult to injury the nail tech was completely rude about myself being disatisfied with the outcome in which a verbal argument insuid in front of the entire nail salon. I highly recommend DO NOT GO HERE FOR WHATS SUPPOSED TO BE A RELAXING PAMPERING EXPERIENCE, it was anything But!

Probably wont go back. The pedicure was just ok. Little eye contact and less communication with the older man providing pedi. Greeted warmly as I entered but felt pretty much invisible until time to pay; I even had to ask if it was ok to leave as I was forgotten when the next client was called. 4 hrs. later, the polish wasnt dry/hard/set enough for shoes- smudged and dull when I took off shoes. Ill be going back to my old salon where I may be treated just as impersonally but my toes look great for 2-3 weeks.(The salon is very clean and rather posh looking.)
