I got this gel manicure on natural nails 3 weeks ago and it’s still perfectly intact. Great mani for a great price! Wish I lived in Florida so I could come here regularly but if I’m ever in town I will definitely be returning here. They had a lot of design options too like chrome nails. **Update** It has now been 30 days and this mani is still perfectly in tact. Amazed!

I got a pedicure from them last week and now that I got out of my pool all of the gel peeled off my toes. I tried calling to let them know because she also took a big chuck of skin off the side of my foot and she acted like she didn’t understand me on the phone but u understood when I was there and I wasn’t happy about the pedicure. I will never go back!!!!!!

I have been to Gel Nails a few times. I usually get a pedicure and my eyebrows arched. Today, I went to Gel Nails to get a pedicure and eyebrows done and I was greeted with so much rudeness that I will never return.The older lady that works there is rarely ever pleasant to me (usually rude). But today I walked in and she asked what did I need done. I answered very politely, “May I have a pedicure and my eyebrows arched?” She coldly responded, “come back later, I busy” (without making eye contact). So I waited a second and responded, “that’s rude, can you please let me know when to return?” And she didn’t answer.Every time I go there, this older lady is rude. But I still tip her and the other lady very well every time I visit. Regardless of the lack of kindness from the older lady. The younger lady that works there is always super nice and sweet.This is a sanitary complaint that I have from the precious’s time I visited Gel Nails:The older woman did my pedicure, washed out the foot basin and tools and then proceeded to try and wax my eyebrows without washing her hands first. I very politely declined the eyebrow waxing service when it was clear she was really about to try and touch my face after scrubbing my feet. I didn’t say anything to her about how disgusting and unhygienic that is because I didn’t want to embarrass or make her feel bad. So I just told her no thank you. And I still tipped her well after that.I will never return. I do not like rude and disrespectful people. Everyone deserves respect (until they prove otherwise, sometimes 😂) I will take my polite-self to a more deserving company that appreciates my kindness and business

Fair prices, the man and the daughter do great work, although the man is a little rough on the cuticles. The wife is not so friendly. Overall, I do recommend.

I am extremely picky about my nails. I get my nails done ALL the time and this was the best full set of acrylics I’ve EVER gotten. I got gel polish and it was very well priced. I’ve never left a review for anything but felt so strongly about this I just had to! Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed!

I have been a fan of gel nails and a client since they opened in 2012. The salon has always been extremely clean and very sanitary. They use only top of the line products which results in long lasting high quality n gel nails. Long and her mom always try to accommodate me and go above and beyond to make me happy. I have particularly difficult feet and they have always been able to make them pretty, which without going into detail is no easy feat. I would recommend Gel Nails to anyone looking for professional result at a reasonable cost.

I use to always get my nails done here all the time. The husband would do my nails. The Wife has always seemed to always have an attitude and the husband in my opinion looks annoyed.. The daughter is soft spoken and quite. I continue to go because he is a decent nail tech. But, as of late hes been pretty rude to me. He criticizes my nails all the time.. Last time I was there my middle fingers acrylic was so crooked that I had to try to correct it at home. I noticed it there but I didnt want to hear him fuss or say something in his language. I think Im never going back.

Gel Nails is a wonderful family owned nail salon with a variety of colors and spa option. They stay up to date with the trends and are always friendly. The business is very clean with no harsh scents when entering the shop. Each person has individual tools and toes dividers. Im always greeted with a smile and leave with a smile!

I moved here about 2 years ago and after trying SEVERAL other nail spas in the Tampa Bay area, I can tell you Gel Nails of South Tampa is by far the best place to go! This spa is incredibly clean and the staff is extremely professional. Compared to other nail spas, Gel Nails is very reasonably priced especially for the quality of work they do. Dont waste time going anywhere else.

Its family owned and you will always know what to expect as there are three nail techs (who are the owners and daughter). Coming from DC and I honestly am so sad there is no one up near me who pays attention to the details like they did. My fill ins were shaped not only for shape but also for thickness and smoothness on top. The time was taken to ensure each nail turned out beautifully. A man did the shaping and painting (there was a few bits of dried gel on the side of my nails onto my skin but I didn’t even catch it till hours later- I basically chose a pink that blended in to my skin So it was barely noticeable) and then a younger woman put gems on my ring finger as accents. She took the time to discuss what sizes would look best with my smaller hands and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve brought a picture to three different salons in the DC area and this is the only one who truly managed expectations and did a gorgeous job.

I have been coming to Gel Nails for 6 years. I followed them when they moved from last location. This family owned and operated business is always friendly and welcoming. There is never a long wait and they do a fantastic and thorough job. A major plus is the care taken to disinfect after every customer. The establishment is very clean right down to the restroom. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Dont get a French manicure here. They turned darker after 2 days. They also were peeling within a week. I tried this place 3 different times because they are close to my house and I wanted it to work and every time I was disappointed with my nails. The only reason why Im giving 2 stars is because they give an O.K pedicure, the polish at least lasts. I would not waste your money getting your hands done here.

Terrible. Worst nail job Ive ever received. The man seemed very annoyed that I didnt want the gel manicure. All of my nails were poorly painted and crooked. I wanted them long and he said, No thats too long for you, so I have very short crooked acrylic nails. Pedicure was effed up too. Free hand French tip, asked for pink and white. Got plain French with no shine and jagged lines. Paid $72 for this so also extremely overpriced.

So Ive been going to another place for years and was satisfied with their work, however I decided to try this place. BEST decision Ive made thus far. Quality of work and costumer service is excellent. Clean and sterilized. Give it try youll see the difference.

I RECOMMEND YOU NEVER COME HERE! The owner lady and man are EXTREMELY RUDE!! They speak to you with rude attitudes, loud voices, ugly faces and mean words when you ask them questions. They are super expensive $$$$ for no reason because they dont even have sample books of nail polishes and work so you dont know how the color of the nail polish is going to look like before you decide on a color. I just called to see if they were open. The lady said yes they were open and there were no people there. Then when i said oh good im gonna come now she started screaming at me telling me there was no one there to do nails. I asked her why she was screaming at me and she just kept screaming there was no one there to do my nails. I then said so your not open and she hung up.

Ive tried this place 4 x in a row hoping it would work out because its close to my house. Every time Ive been there the lady owner looks miserable and rude. Every time Ive had my nails done here at least one would break within a week, Ive gone whole years and not break a single one. My last attempt of giving this place just one more try, I walked into the same rude owner lady telling me she cant do my nails.. The place was empty...The owners of this place have no business running a business. Worst nail shop in town. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

They are very rude. I went inside with my son that was inside of a stroller watching tv. They told me that they couldnt take me bc they had alot of appointments when it was 9:30 and no one was inside. Then they told me they couldnt take me anymore then called the police on me. That is ridiculous to be refused service bc I was with my son. I am a single mother who cant have anyone watch him and then have the police called on me. Is just crazy to me.

Seriously horrible. Went to get my eyebrows done, the lady was rude and rushing and my eyebrows look they were never done. I had to tell her each spot to wax AFTER she had finished because there was hair still all out of place. I dont think she even knew how to do them. I have a headache because of how rough she was. SMH you would think theyd be polite considering the shop is right outside an air force base but NO SMH. Dont waste your money. I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD.

This place absolutely left a horrible standing with me. Customer service was piss poor all because I asked if I could soak my nails longer instead of drilling my ANC powder off. He cursed at me, threw his drill down, told me to leave and walked off. So I requested to be serviced by someone else. The owner then says fix her nail so she can get out. My advice, if you go there, dont ask them any questions.

I have never been treated so rudely than I did today at Gel Nails. The woman that works there is always in a bad mood. I always spend 75-90$ every time I go there. Today I went around 615pm. They close at 7. I asked for pedi and fill. After I picked my colors she tells me I cant do both and that I needed to choose one either pedi or nails because she closes at 7!!!!! She said very rudely I dont work late. Really?? After I drove 30 mins to get there in traffic. She needs to work on her customer service skills. Every time I go there she has a stank look on her face. Their loss. I know a couple customers that will not be going back here. Change your close time to 6pm if you are too lazy to work past 7. When I told her that I would never be back she said ok bye!! Wow! Absolutely horrible! Wish I could give 0 stars.
