This place always does a great job! You can tell that they take pride in their work. Cant beat the price for the service you get. Employees are really nice as well.

Some of the vacuums are partially clogged, very poor suction. The carwash could use new scrub brush. If you need a pressure rise its suitable. I guess in a pitch to rinse your car it does suffice.

I showed up at 1 to clean my car on Sunday and they denied me when they close at 2. Im guessing this is a appointment needed but they dont pick up the phone. Very unprofessional on denying me when yall have an hour left to work.

Used to go to this place weekly prior to covid, now the (owner/manager?) just makes up the hours as they go. I am pretty sure they just stay open until a certain dollar amount then close. 3 times I have come during their hours and either no ones been there. Today was my last attempt. Showed up at 1:45 and said they were closing. Asked what time their hours are since I finally seen someone working. He said 5, but they had an hour back up. It is 1:45. So yeah, unless you show up between the hours of 9-11 on a weekday I wouldnt waste your time to guess are they actually open?Also never once answered their phones, should just unplug it honestly. Not like the hours are correct on the phone message.

Pro status I have an F350 dually work truck they get it done way better than expected everytime. This stop is worth it all day.

Excellent service for the money. The entire cleaning is done by hand and they have five different levels to choose from. I have never been disappointed. This is hands down the best place to get a car wash and wax. Took my wifes car to have it cleaned and a hand wax job done. It was better than we expected. Outstanding work done. I love this place - been going there for well over a decade. If I cant do it myself for whatever reason, I go to them. My only issue is that prices have gone up considerably (like 50%) in the past few years. That said; Id rather pay for a quality job than to pay for something that is, for lack of a better term, half-a$$ed.

The gentleman explained how the paint may have been damaged due to the bugs and how long they were on my paint. They did a very good job under the circumstances they were given.

Best 100% hand car wash in Tampa, hands down.Cars are completely hand washed, the good old fashioned way. NO MACHINES that will damage your car. While you wont be in and out in 5 minutes, thats OK. Just chill out, relax bring a book or catch up on your social media and let these guys do their magic.Each time I come in with my cars, they remember my preferences immediately and are very friendly, professional and personable. This is a family owned business and the difference is that they truly are invested in and care about their customers. This is clear in the attention to detail they put into every car. For example, we have a dog that sheds - they always take the time to get all of the dog hair to the point it looks like we dont even have a dog! Wow...They also used compressed air to get out the majority of that annoying water that always comes out of the mirrors and exterior trim as you drive away. Nice!If you think youre getting a hand wash at the other washes in Tampa, youre mistaken. Places like Mister, while able to get tons of cars through very quickly, utilize machines to do the washing (in turn, scratching your car over time) and then just drying and finalizing by hand. I promise you, do not take a chance on your paint at places like Mister, Kennedys Car Wash, etc. to save a few minutes. My black car had fresh scratches and swirls after just one wash.To sum it up, friendly, family owned, great attention to detail, 100% hand wash. Bring your high dollar luxury sports car or your family sedan and SUV...they will take great care of you either way and put great care into both!!!A few tips:*Be careful pulling in and coming out. They are located on a curve and people always ride my butt when going down this street. If youre not careful youll miss it and slam on your brakes*Dont come if you are in a big rush to go somewhere right after. Ive seen this place have a line out to the street. Be prepared to wait while they hand pamper your car. If you get lucky and drive by when there are no cars out front, DO IT.Get the wash, Youve hit the jackpot with no wait!*Dont underestimate this place based on the appearance. Seemed very friendly. Told me how they will clean the interior in detail. When I got it back I had some melted candy on my floor mat. Sand under and besides the seats. My black leather seats had some splash marks on them everywhere. I understand that its a Denali XL but dont tell me what youre gona do and than not do it for 40 bucks. It didnt even smell clean.

I took our two BMWs here after they arrived from a 1,200+ mile journey on the lower level of an auto transport. The cars were disgusting. They smelled horrible and were extremely filthy - covered with dirt, mud, fluids splattered from the cars above, bird droppings and tree debris. Superior Hand Car Wash did an amazing job cleaning them inside and out at very reasonable prices, and they smelled so nice on the drive home. Everyone there is friendly and courteous. Very pleased and highly recommend Superior without hesitation!

I arrived in Tampa yesterday driving down from Savannah,GA and desperately needed a good hand wash. The front of my car was splattered with bugs and road dirt. Roland (owner,operator) and his crew did a fabulous job of cleaning my car inside and out. Any time you need a great “hand wash”, this is the place to go!

I cant take my car rims through the automated car washes so Im always on the lookout for a good hand washing detail shop. After today, Im done looking. I recently returned home from a long trip to find my car covered with love bugs. I saw all the great reviews for Superior and decided to drive over from Clearwater just to see if the hype was correct. When I arrived, there were already four cars waiting in line. I spoke with the owner who took down my number and stated he would call me when they were a little less busy. Since I had errands to run, I didnt feel inconvenienced. True to his word, he called me later that afternoon and 15 minutes later when I arrived, already 2 people were in front of me again. He squeezed me and got me out super fast. My car looks gorgeous, no love bugs and rims gleaming. Awesome customer service and job well done!

Brought my 2011 Cadillac SRX to be waxed and detailed yesterday. When I went to pick it up I could hardly recognize it! It looked brand new. They were very courteous and the price was reasonable.

I love this place. Only place I like to take my vehicle. The owner is a stand up guy, and they do a phenomenal job. Prices are way more than your typical drive thru car wash, but this is all by hand. Likewise, if its busy it can take a long time to get done, so if youre in a rush, wait until you have more time. The place looks a little run down, but Im okay with that. I just want someplace that doesnt hurt my paint and does a good job. Only once was I dissatisfied and Im sure if I would have talked to the owner he would have taken care of it.

Always been told they did a good job here. The outside of the car looked great but Ill admit it seemed like they rushed the inside. Still booked good but missed a lot of spots that I needed to go back over.

Paid $25 for a premium wash and interior cleaning. It was a rushed and half-done job. Didn’t vacuum the seats, didn’t wipe down the dash and door jams completely, didn’t dry the back of the car leaving soap lines all over it. I won’t come back here, the car wash up the street on Hillsborough is 100 Times better.

My car has to be handwashed as the pressure from the dryer is too much for my convertible back glass. They do a decent job, but I hate that I had to ask them to get the sprinkler spots off my driver window and mirror.

Took my truck in early afternoon to get washed. I was the only customer at the time so there was no wait and no reason to rush. They were done within 15 minutes which surprised me until i inspected. There were a lot of spots (bird poop) on the hood still. I pointed it out and they easily wiped off with a rag so it was obvious they did not touch the hood. Save to assume they did not touch the top of my truck either. There were other spots around the truck as well but i did not make a fuss of it. Staff was friendly at least but pretty disappointed with the wash.

This place may not look like much, but these guys do an amazing job. They dont cut corners and the prices are beyond reasonable!! Im proud to take my car here. Thanks again guys!!!!

Most of the reviews on here are from 3-4 years ago and seemed really good so I decided to give this place a shot. I knew this place doesnt specialize in car detailing and wasnt expecting that caliber. I dont know...they may have been excellent 3-4 years ago, but my experience today was nothing like I read in the reviews.I ended up purchasing the Ultimate + package (highest they had), but lets just start with the basic wash thats included. Let me emphasize one word in that last sentence, BASIC (not to mention horribly wrong)! They sprayed some water on my car, lathered it up with soap, and rinsed it off...in all of 2 minutes. The person washing the car rinsed off the wash mitt once in the whole process and was washing the car from the bottom of the undercarriage and dragging the mitt up to the top of the car! I felt like I could just hear all the dirt scratching my paint!! After that they pulled the car out into the sun to dry it off with an obviously dirty chamois. After I got home for a closer inspection, to no surprise there was still TONS of dirt left on the car, especially on the hood/bumper of the car from bugs. I definitely will have to wash it all over again to actually get it clean.I feel like thats all I pretty much need to go into without going into the rest of the ultimate package...basically dont even bother and just get the Basic Wash because thats all you really get. Clearly all they did was quickly wipe a wet cloth with some armor-all on it around my console. Plenty of spots were obviously missed which I had to go over the entire interior again when I got home. Door jams/kick plates were still completely dirty and werent even touched.Basically put, I waited at the place for over an hour and my car got MAYBE 10-15 minutes of attention. I should have just used that time and money to just do it right myself. Let me just say though, if youre just taking in the family car for a quick (and yes, cheap) wash, then Im sure youll still be satisfied. If you have any type of luxury car though (I drive a Camaro), then save your money and go to a real car detailer that will do it right.

Well... The reviews are conflicting and Im pretty picky so Ill start out with that preface. Attention to detail aint these guys specialty. I didnt expect perfection, but had hoped for better than I got. For instance, they lifted my back seat to move the mat from underneath it but didnt bother to put it back down and vacuum the seat. They washed the floor mats with a literal one-over; they may have spent 10 seconds each. Sure it got most of the dirt off, but theres still a few sticky pieces hanging on. They also quoted me 45 mins and I got out in 1 hour and 45 mins. If youre looking for decent... Come here. If youre more of a perfectionist.... Please tell me where I can get it done right.

My girlfriend went to wash her car there a few days ago and after one day I realized that the entire roof had failed and part of the hood went to claim what happened and the answer they gave me was that the sun had made it .... in my life I go to that car wash again

I’m fairly new to Tampa, moved here about a year ago.My family relative used to hand wash my car for me as he was a professional detailer and despised machine car washes.When i moved here i didn’t have that luxury any longer and had to resort with using places such as Mister Car wash.While they were fairly quick I’d still have to examine my car after it was “done” only to still find bugs on the front of my bumper and once there was even still dirt ! Smh a full service car wash ran me a good $35-40 but they would do a half ass job smh.I found Superior randomly, like a god send... AND THEY HANDWASHED CARS?!? Yes please! I figured I’d give it a shot after all the rain over the weekend had my white car looking a mess!Immaculate service! The owner made sure my car was touched and wiped in all areas ! I literally got in my car and was smiling ear to ear! So happy my dashboard was shining, cup holders and crevices were LICKED! 😍I won’t be going anywhere else!Can’t wait to see what their wax talent has to offer !Thank you all so much!
