I went through this car wash today and upon inspecting my vehicle after hearing the last spinners in the wash slapping the hell out of my truck there were numerous paint chips and small dents. Definitely not coming back here again and if you care at all about your vehicle I would recommend somewhere else.

UPDATE: For the record, I inspect my car before getting in to drive if my car is out of my site. Every time. Funny how you jump to the chemicals and not the mechanics. As far as another shot, you need to do the right thing first. Next stop Atty Generals office.All, you see I attached photos. If you continue going here and your car gets damaged, please think back to this warning and their lack of accountability of a response.I’ve been a monthly subscription holder for their top tier wash since they’ve open and referred friends to them. Last time I went through there was damage to my car. They are trying to tell me their chemicals can not do that damage. I had no idea their managers were chemists. Also it was pre existing which it was not.I asked who made the determination and was met with resistance then it turns out it was the GM/Chemist that denied it. I asked for the corporate number which they did not want to give me and finally did.I have referred a lot of business to them. My next stop is the Florida Attorney General’s Office. Such a shame they won’t do the right thing.

I never leave reviews for anywhere but i’ve had the monthly pass for months. & I went to this location for this first time to wash my car and it took paint off my car 😭 I’ve never had this problem and im just slightly freaking out!!

It was my first car wash after I had bought the new car and my first visit to this place. I had high expectations from this place and took their top service #1 works wash. Unfortunately, I ended up loosing rear windshield wiper of my new car. I will update my rating depending on how the management responds to this issue. Be cautious if you have rear windshield wiper otherwise rest of the service was good.

The man taking my card was taking a picture of my card with his phone. man refused to give me his name. this happened spetember 26th 2021 after 7pm.

Im use to getting my wiper in the back of my car covered. This wasnt done my last 2 visits. Other then that, car wash cleans the car well- the washing machine for mats-Fabulous.

I drive Uber and I go there just about daily and car wash is okay theres no spot rinse always spots... And half the time I have to change spots where I park to use the vacuum because theyre all clogged up

Im the type of guy whos very picky who and what touches my cars so much I hand wax all them myself. I was quite hesitant of any other machine touching my cars simply because of bad past experience such as scratches and not completely washing especially the rear of my suvs but I love this place especially because I can wash it as much as I want with the plan I have. I just love it.

I needed a quick wash and saw Tommy’s mExpress close by. It was my first time and i saw the 3 lanes. i didn’t have the app so i went to the cashier. i waited inside my car for a couple minutes waiting for someone to come up. i then saw a man on his phone with a headphone in so i knocked for a while as another car came up and started waiting as well. i then had to call the store phone to get his attention and when he realized that i was waiting he gave a very disrespectful smirk. i explained to him that i had been waiting and he seemed to have been just trying to get me out of there not caring for his negligence. i then asked for a manager and he proceeded to tell he was it. I work in customer service i understand annoying customers but this was straight up negligence and unprofessional. If he truly is the manager i would really reconsider his role or give him some common courtesy lessons because you lost 2 customers in a row just by that.

I took my 2020 Subaru Legacy to get washed for the first time at Tommy’s Express Car Wash. The man I paid for the wash was friendly. But after I got the car washed, I was not impressed. The drying system left water spots all over the car and the side skirts were still covered in dirt. I got “The Works” figuring it would do at least a decent job. I was wrong. The “tire glass” they advertise in “The Works” option was a joke. I never expect the automated car washes to be perfect but this was far from it. Gas station car washes do it better in my opinion. I do not recommend this car wash to anyone and as a result I will not be bringing any of my cars back to Tommy’s Express Car Wash.

This is an awesome car wash. My car was covered in pollen and leaves just like everyone else around this time of year. I chose “The Works” option, it’s the best one, it cost $18, a little pricey for a wash but it is worth it. The car wash is new and works great. My car cane out looking brand new!

I went here the other day and went through the car wash. Their machine took paint off of my bumper be very careful here I would not recommend going here to get your car washed. manager refused to acknowledge any responsibility

On the date of 08/27/2021 around 8:00pm I visited the car wash where I am currently a member. I seen that all lanes were available but for some reason the sensor was not reading my plate this is the second time it has done this. So, I blew the horn to ask one of the two team members that were inside why was it not reading my tag. He then stated I was rude for blowing the horn. I just was curious why $32.99 was coming out of my account every month and me getting up to sensors and it not reading. He then stated he don’t know and closed the window and let me through. I think this might be my last month as a member with them. Unacceptable.

The car wash is brand new and it has the newest technology. The car was very clean and not spotty at all. The vacuums are free, under shades, and they have a large amount of them, so you wont be waiting to use one.

Love coming here for a car wash. Using the free vacuums. And my car is pretty dry after using the drier. Usually it still needs to be wiped down after going through the car wash, but not here. And they have little detailing packets you can buy next to the vacuum to clean the inside.

This place is a rip off and the wash is lack luster. I purchased a wash for $17.90 and they signed me up for there monthly plan without my authorization. They billed my card 3 times at $35.79 even though I was still going and paying for my wash. When I caught it on my bank statement I called to speak to a manager and they refused to refund all my money back. You guys still owe me $71.58. Unbelievable how you treat customers. I recommend you go elsewhere to get a wash. Tommys deserves no stars!

I was super nervous to get a monthly subscription to a car wash, however this location has proven to be extremely consistent and have great car washes! The vacuums are the only issue I have with the place, as some pump extremely well and others lack the power necessary to get the dirt (find a good one and remember where it is!)Overall excellent location would recommend.

If you go here don’t pay for the works wash. The works wash they advertise tire gloss but your tires will come out ashy like nothing is on them at all. I’ve spoken with numerous managers and staff and every time they tell me they are working on it 3 months later after having faith and going back I’m still not satisfied waste of money.

Omg, I love this car wash. You dont deal with anyone except if you want to buy a one time wash. If you are a member you just drive up and it scans your tag so you go right through. I canceled my subscription only because I live 45 minutes away and i wasnt able to utilize it as much as I want

My first experience at Tommy’s was pretty great. I got a monthly subscription, my car seemed pretty clean and there were plenty of vacuums that worked decently.My last few visits though have been less than savory. They use an automated system to guide cars into the car wash and I’m just not so sure it works great. The last 3 times a woman employee has come running out of the office screeching at me to “STOP” just to point at the sign that says take your foot off the break. The automated service tells cars to go in too close together which makes me nervous and I waited several seconds after the automated screen told me to proceed forward. They should probably have an employee outside the office (like every other car wash of this type I’ve been to). Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve never been told anything besides “STOOOOP”..Car wash itself is ok, but doesn’t get all the pollen on the first wash by any means. I do appreciate that they have car mat wash stations and places for trash. The man who originally sold me my membership was nice. The facilities are consistently clean. That being said, Due to the stress of being yelled at constantly and still not knowing what I’m doing wrong, I will be canceling my membership and choosing a different place for washes.

Car wash staff is always present, friendly and professional. Coolest wash technology around! The automatic wash does a great job of cleaning the car every time and equipment is well aligned in the tunnel. There have been times that equipment seems to be slightly out of alignment moving mirrors as a result. The after-wash bays are well spaced out. Free vacuums are great! They generally work really well and have strong suction. Vacuums should be checked more frequently for blockages to ensure this. Many hoses also have additional tubing making them heavier and disconnect more frequently. They should just be replaced if defective. Nice experience overall and reasonably priced wash plans for all budgets. Occasional specials offered are great! Would be cool to add some air stations where possible to check tire pressure since the Wawa ones suck and are poorly maintained - they never work!! Tommys could add this amenity where viable!

Great staff and best wash for my vehicles in town. And great price. First timers may still be able to get 1/2 off for first month membership washes. Well worth the price.

Its all self service but this is the best car wash they always have quick entry if you have the mobile app set up and multiple lanes means the wait is less and I purchased the works its a good package worth $35.00 having your car look like you just left the dealership they offer the best spaced vacuum area ever I go to Tommys at least 2 times a week

WORST CAR WASH EVER!!!Dont even think in stopping here, I got a brand new truck 2 days ago, and look what this horrible car wash did, his manager said there is nothing they can do because it wasnt them with an extremely rude attitude, On top of that you have to pay $5 for a cleaning kit that does work for nothing...Please dont waste your money here.

We came to have our car washed this morning as we put the the truck thru the car wash. The right mirror was snapped off completely. We pulled off to the side and also noticed scratches on the side. My husband immediately called the car wash to let them know what happened, they implied it was pre existing damage. On a 2021 Toyota Tacoma!They claimed their was no mirror in the car wash, clearly they didn’t look. They turned off them car wash and were able to find the mirror on the floor.But then proceeded to claim the scratches on the side weren’t from the car wash. I’m really furious at the fact that situation was down played. They took our Info down snapped a couple of pics and said to wait and hear from the GM in maybe 3-4 days. I would advice to not use this car way unless you damage on your Vehicle!! As we are left waiting to hear from someone!!

I had my truck washed and utilized the do-it-yourself vacuum station. The facility is trash free and well maintained. My only issue is that the approach to the carwash is not long enough to align a long vehicle with the transport belt without several backing up and straightening out actions. Having following customers lined up on your rear bumper this straightening can be difficult resulting in flaring tempers.

Went here for a wash since it was open past the hour of my normal spot. Quick wash and nice free vacuums.

I like this place however the fact that I just paid for a car wash and before I could even vacuum out my car they turned off the power and said absolutely nothing while there was another car going through the car wash... super bowl got everybody rushing to get off huh smh bad businessThanks for the response but I assure you that your employee did however turn off the power while I was using the vacuum and shut the lights off as the other car was coming out of the wash to vacuum their car. There was no outage so save the excuses just do better.

Always great service since theyve opened! The Manger was friendly and very helpful. I was double charged and she caught it right away and made sure that everything was refunded before I left. I willl continue to use there services!

Dries better than most car washes, good suction on vacuums. I like the two sided set up for the vacuums. No masks worn by staff, though. In this time we are in that is not ok :-(

I was supposed to get my car waxed as well and there was never any wax. The vacuums are pretty good, though.

As a person who washes my car by hand, sometimes a drive thru car wash doesnt sound too bad, but when you pay a certain amount and expect to do less work to be done after, this definitely didnt help. It was a waste of money, the car stayed stained, doesnt dry well, doesnt wash well, the vacuums are almost just as bad. Lesson learned, Ill stick to hand washing, shining, ceramic coating and vacuuming my own car.

The machinery is great, and I like this brand of machinery wherever I happen to be. But, this particular location lacked personnel, to pre-spray the nasty areas, and the opportunity to pre clean the bugs off of your grill and Hood.I would still give it a four and a half out of five if that were an option. 😏

Rarely anyone comes out to check if your car is aligned with the track . Therefore almost guaranteed one of the mirrors in either side will be pushed in by the rollers. Not sure what was going on today but tires were not cleaned . Self vacuum is ok . It seems like the place is always under staffed.

Okay so at first I was all excited about this car wash and how good it washed my car and how you can have free vacuum cleaners an the mat cleaners well I went in for my second time and I couldnt get the app to work so I had to go into the store which the app wont work because of whatever technical issue on its end not me so I go in and I spend about 30 minutes with them trying to figure out how to add my vehicle and everything then about a day later or maybe it was on that day when I checked my bank account I was charged again so I just had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to get them to adjust everything so its been one thing after another so Im not happy about that at all I dont think Ill be renewing my subscription for the next month.

This place is the best in the area. The vacuums are super powerful, they have an interior cleaning kit dispenser for $3 and its good quality stuff, and the car wash itself does an okay job.

Last week, my 2nd disappointing visit. I waited quite a while in line while the lady at the window obviously was having a personal conversation. I would have backed up and left except for the cars behind me. Upon arriving at the window, no apologies, just which wash do you want?. Two weeks prior at 8am I again sat for 5 minutes or more by the window with no one visible, except for their breakfast visible inside. I tapped the horn a few times, and nothing. So I backed out and left. These are quite different experiences than in the past. Ill try one more time before I go elsewhere. Otherwise, 3 strikes and you are out...

Emily at the register was super nice and informative. The car was not very clean, but I honestly kind of expect this of any automatic express car wash. The vacuums are AWESOME!

I love them, just had to leave because were I moved its only one location, I used them for a year still but, its just not convenient for me. I wish theyll open more locations throughout Tampa and Port Richey, when I lived in Tampa I got to use them more.

After an 8 hour trip during love bug season. I was amazed to see it all come off in one wash!

First time going here and its definitely going to be my go-to place now. Amazing service. Super clean. The water in the carwash didnt stink and they have $3 packets to clean the inside of your car, for your windows, a small cloth to wipe down and 2 clips to make your car smell amazing. The vacuums have a good suction. Totally recommend.

The wash itself was terrible and the real reason I went was even worse. The vacuum was so clogged that it didnt remove any dirt. Will not return. Mr car wash is much better!

Decent enough. The attendants cover the rear wiper blades before going through, but be sure to bring something to dry the residual water afterwards or else the reclaimed h2o will leave spots. (particularly black paint)

If you are busy but like to make sure your car is as clean as you can get it without a hand wash then they have cool packages. I run my car through every week. Just drive onto the conveyer belt in neutral and lay back for a minute and relax 😌

Everyone is always super helpful and they are never pushy to sell you the higher package. The free vacuums is awesome, they work really well. I really like that you can buy a detailing pack for $3 . I will only take my cars here.

Pretty Okay. A couple miles west to Rip Tide is better, but Rip Tides card machine was down so I tried out Tommys. It did a decent job, but I felt like it really rushed me through the wash and didnt get my car quite as clean as some others. The first vacuum I went to was really weak. I switched to another one that was better, but still not great. The floor mat wash was really good. Its also a pet peeve of mine when a car wash doesnt have free towels. You have to get a detail kit from a vending machine by the vacuums for $3.00.

Washed pretty well. I still had to wipe some pollen spots when I got home.

Went way down, works poorly this is my last month of membership. It will not let me respond so I am adding to my original post. As you 1st enter it would spray from the sides and from the top heavily there was a lot more soap. Now the water barely comes out, if at all from the top and sides. Just doesnt do the same job it did 6 months ago. I spoke with your office they stated at that the way it is now is the way it will stay.

Tommys is conveniently located off Waters and Dale Mabry, essentially new, and competitively priced. They have convenient hours of operation, too. In fact, initially, I went to my regular car wash. It was closed, so I took the opportunity to try Tommys for the first time. The cashier was friendly, the wait was short, and the car wash was effective. Free vacuum and easy access to Wawa, in case you need a cold drink after vacuuming your vehicle.

Paid for a deluxe and there were still spots. Vacuum was clogged, had to dig out the trash. Mat washers did next to nothing compared to the ones at other Tommys washes.

Good car wash if you prefer spinning brush type washes and dont mind wiping down and vacuuming the car yourself. The machines do a good job of cleaning your car. If your rims are really dirty youll have to do some additional work on them afterwards.Good vacuuming stations.The free mat cleaners/washers do a reasonably good job of cleaning your floor mats. I use the dry mat cleaning function rather than the wet/dry function. The wet/dry function doesnt really get the mats dry in my opinion.

Love it got the works #1 package can go thru more than once a day if needed or in different towns or same no extra charge free vacuum to anyone no one else can beat that Ive had other #1 top paying car wash deals they might let u vacuum a second time but if you second wash your membership will be cancelled no refunds and no return customer either it pay per wash so done with that game glad youre around Tommys wish we had a few more open closer it 30 min drive to a closest one to us right now and will drive to other locations as so a lot of driving love it youll love it too

Ok value - Ultimate $15.19 - but did not remove all oak residue from trunk or all dirt/oil from hubcaps. Cashier was nice & helpful.

Vacuums all clogged and dont work. App/member lanes take forever so the long cash line all is empty before you get in.

The machine works well, but if you have a custom plate or not, the regular Florida green plate, the gate won’t read it, and they have to open the gate manually, so you have to wait a while, and it is a pain.Updated 04/13/2021They fixed!

The girl in the front was nice and told me they had a special for this month. I pulled through the car wash and they put a bag over my windshield in the back . I got home and found it was broken. Is there anyone I can speak to about this?

The wash itself and the moving platform is great. It allows for wide and low profile wheels to have no damage IMO. The vacuums are not very good and tend to come apart. They dont have free drying cloths like some other car washes do.
