I cannot recommend Econo rentals and Maria enough. The prices cant be beat and the 13 passenger van we rented for over a month was perfect. Maria is the friendliest person, kept in touch with us and was so flexible with our ever changing schedule. We are so grateful for their help and will be using Econo rentals in the future whenever we have a need!!Thank you!!!!!

I have checkedthe pricing with all the big names in Tampa but i found the best rate for theminivan with Econo. Their customer service is amazing as well, all the staff i talked to over the phonehas helped me tremendously with my renting needs. I rate them with the highest stars:).

The service was great. Jessica and Julissa are the best in customer service. The car was very clean. They have a great selection of cars. I drove a SCION, not many people have those. I thought it was great! I had to extend a day and it was a simple call. Thanks again!

We hired a vehicle from this auto rental while I and my family were on a trip to Tampa and we found the company worth recommending. The service quality was too good, cars given on rental are well maintained, and above all staffs are really friendly. They are customer friendly enough because we called them in a weird hour at night and we were cordially treated.Above all the packages and car deals offered by the company are really worth mentioning. This auto rental is indeed pocket friendly. The most amazing thing is their flexibility; we wanted to extend out car hiring period for one day and we could simply coordinate the whole deal by a simple phone call! I had my car in the body shop and needed a car rental fast. They picked me up at the body shop. The staff was amazing very nice and polite. They gave me the best deal from any other car rental I have rented from before. I will always come back to rent here.

I had not planned to use Econo Auto Rental, but I was directed to go to them by their competitor, since they did not have any cars at the time. The agents at Econo Auto were very courteous and helpful! I was able to rent the car that I needed, at such short notice. :0)

We rented a car from Econo Auto Rentals this past December and would like to commend them for outstanding customer service and for truth-in-advertising. The price quoted on the phone was exactly what we were charged, there were no surprise charges, no second driver fee. The car provided was basic but in excellent condition. They charge a very reasonable $20 for transportation to/from the airport, just make sure you reserve a ride ahead of time. The driver was courteous, helpful and careful. After our flight was cancelled, I called to see what we needed to do to rent again from them and to reserve a spot on the shuttle. Even though it was around the time they close the office when I called, Jay took his time with me and was very reassuring in helping us work through our options. We will definitely rent from this company next time we visit our family in the Tampa Bay area.

I rarely write reviews about places, but when a business is worth bragging about, you have to give that place credit! I drove to Tampa for a weeks vacation, and my car went on the fritz and into the shop after I got there. I was stressed out being without a vehicle in a strange city. I called around some car rental places, but I wound up with Econo Auto Rental because they were the friendliest over the phone. After we figured out the car I was going to rent, they picked me up, got me into a car, and off I went! And after my car was repaired, they drove me to the shop to get my car. The customer service was top notch and prices were competitive. If you ever need a car in Tampa, go to them!

My car broke down and someone told me about this place because its near where i live. I was not disappointed at all and thank god they are here because i am broke already and cannot afford all of these bills. Econo was the nicest staff and saved my life. I will always come rent here they made it too easy and so stressfree for me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! you will be better off anywhere else, I have rented from many other companies and never seen something like this.by recent experience find the following reason not to do business with these people:1. DO NOT TRUST THEM: Theyll raise original reservation price of your rental when you come to pick up your car and when its probably too late to resort to another alternative. This is an unprofessional and unethical placed with their own unconventional rules about car rental business.2. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE: Manager said I cannot let you take this car with the original reservation price and went ahead raising the price on my reservation last minute when i came to pick up the car and said the OWNER Andy Harrow will deduct the increased price from her paycheck if she would honor the original reservation price I gotten over the phone 3 weeks before. I asked to speak to the owner (person responsible for this unjust decision) but Manager denied me this right. Also they charge all you all kinds of deposits ($200: $50 to reserve and $150 security) on top of the full rental upfront making it the most inconvenient place I ever rented.3. VIOLATION OF PRIVACY: These people have trackers on their vehicles and will monitor the vehicle location at all times. Manager was able to tell me where I had been during my rental without me releasing this information when i came back to return car.4. VEHICLES ARE OLD:(8+ years old in my case) and with high mileage making them hard to find reliable. These people dont care about your experience: vehicles are filthy (inside and out). These people didnt not disclosed any of this information over the phone when I originally made the reservation. My vehicle wasnt washed and inside smelled like some one had urinated in it, I couldnt stand the asphyxiating smell and had to pay to get it clean and sanitized after i pick it up. Like i say i was too late for me to find an alternative as i tried but other rentals were out of stock on a busy weekend.IF THESE REASON ARE NOT ENOUGH TO HELP YOU STAY AWAY FROM HERE YOU MIGHT AS WELL LIVE IN PERSON !!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!I will be posting this review in as many places as possible and reporting them to the better business bureau to save others from the burden of giving this people a chance.

Rented a minivan for a weekend trip it was nice to have room for my family from out of town. The staff was great would rent from them again.

I have rented many cars over the years and Econo is a newcomer with one branch currently. They were very friendly and there was plenty of staff on hand to take care of business. They charge more of a deposit than others but they worked with me a little, they were easy to deal with. They will pick you up and drop you off which is a service i used. The pickup was a little late, the driver didnt use gps and had to ask me directions. The vehicle was a 2011 and the brakes were a bit faded. Its easy to talk of the downsides, but overall i would rent here over others because I not only like to support new businesses but they were really easy to work with, accepted debit cards, and delivered me to and from my home.

It would be nice if you would remove the Trump ambulance from in front of your building.

Had a terrible experience at Enterprise, so I walked right across the street and Econo took good care of me. Car was fine, not perfect but did what I needed and for the right price. Will make sure to keep them in mind for our next trip.

Econo ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! I would NEVER in a million years rent from them EVER again. For one the staff are unprofessional and they have a pissy attitude, for two the car was EXTREMELY INFESTED with roaches...too the point that they were crawling all outside the car and the third reason I ended up leaving items in the car and they just up and disappeared after I was told my items were there. Will definitely not go there anymore. Worst place ever. Will be filing a civil suit for my things...ohh and I didnt even receive all my deposit back.

Econolodge car rental is the worst! The girls working up there are truly unprofessional I returned The car back in its original order and was given a receipt with a zero balance. 3 to 4 days later I had a $50 charge on my credit card. I called to dispute it I was told that I was whiny and they hung up in my face. I am currently disputing the charge with my credit card

I was searching for a vehicle to use during spring break and Econo came up with a van rental price half that of others that I found. The van was awesome for $50 a day it had 2 tvs and leather seats. Cant beat that. Will definately use them when family comes in town.
