As a 20 year active duty service member thats heavily invested in real estate, Ive learned to rely on fiduciaries in my acquisition of assets. Alisha is a stellar fiduciary with the highest level of attention to detail to her clients for new and used car sales. Shes a veteran that has served her country also. I strongly recommend Alisha for any transactions at Veterans Ford.Goodbye C8, Hello GS. Thank you Alisha!
It’s so great to be able to make an appointment to get my car serviced. I spoke with Anna who was polite, friendly & helpful in scheduling the appointment at a time that worked for me. Freddy Mendez greeted me with a smile & reviewed the needs for my car with me. He was knowledgeable about the service my car required, patient with concerns & helpful with answering my questions. I truly appreciated Freddy’s advise as to what items needed addressed with my car. Veteran’s Ford Service Department has always made me feel comfortable and safe with my car. Everyone is polite & friendly. I will always return there for service for my car & I will always recommend Veteran’s Ford for car service to family & friends.
This place is blown out! The same person that built it must be the same one that runs the service department. The lobby looks like the furniture was bought from a yard sale.I could’ve put a down payment on a car mechanic shop, done a 2 year training on how to be a mechanic, paid off the place, and changed my oil before I will get done here. Perhaps I shall do that. Oh and the TVs don’t work. Spiders the size of German Shepard’s.
I received great service from Macr Fisher for being a great salesman and making this experience 5 stars. He made sure before I left with my new vehicle I understood what I was buying and all the great features. The staff is nice and even the service department is awesome George is the best, he watches out and make sure no unnecessary spending happens and that means a lot to a single mom. I have brought two cars from them it been a great experience. They dont keep you all day. Keep it 💯 and Thank you all😊
Alisha was awesome to work with in our car shopping experience. They gave me plenty of time to test drive the vehicle and the price was very fair. Roberto, the sales manager, was easy going and I felt like was one of the honest managers I have ever met at a dealership. I highly recommend Veterans Ford.
Just not wowed by the experience. They didnt go over the work with me and didnt really tell me what they did. So after spending almost a thousand dollars, just nkt impressed. Nice facility and all, just not amazong service.
Had an appointment for Monday morning at 9:30am. My car needed a 30,000 mile service. I knew it would take time and be expensive. I don’t have a problem with the cost. I do have a problem that it took 2 full days to do the work. My service advisor told me they had a great text message system to keep me informed. It was generic status. When I would text my advisor for details (as he encouraged me to do) it took over an hour each time to get a response that often did not answer my question. One text was never returned. I have purchased two vehicles from Veteran’s Ford and have had ALL their service done there. This is my first bad experience but it was awful!
Service Department Review: Everyone is friendly and respectful. I’ve taken my Explorer here since 2014. Expect to pay Dealer prices, but you will get the best quality service techs.
I didnt realize this dealership was close to me. I made an appointment to have my car serviced. I was impressed by the greeting I got which was fast and to the point. My service adviser Freddy Mendez was very knowledgeable, helpful and genuine about taking care of his customer. Being a new customer that was very important to me.
I have always trusted Veteran’s Ford to give me an honest estimate for any vehicle issue and fully confident their mechanics will fix the problem correctly, the first time! Everyone from the service department always treats you friendly and are eager to help you. The on site Enterprise Rental is a huge plus for Veteran’s Ford.I could t be more pleased with my vehicle’s repair as I dealt from George, Brandon and Travis. All first class service and price!
My experience at Veterans Ford was amazing. They were very quick to respond to me via phone call and text. I was in and out within 15-20 mins. My sales guy Omar was also amazing! He was very responsive as well. I also connected with his manager Adam and he also provided excellent service. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Be aware of this dealership service department overseeing services you don’t need and taking advantage of car owners. Wife went for an oil change 60k miles checkup and left with a $900 bill after they told her it was necessary to do a fuel emissions service, throttle service, injector flush, alignment (which they did not provide a report for) and transmission fluid exchange. None of it is part of the factory 60k Mills service.
I had a very positive experience buying my car at Veterans Ford. I got the car I wanted. They were able to work with me to make it affordable. The people were very kind and competent. I felt I was respected and able to get a deal that was best for me. Thank you. I lovey new Ecosport!
Justin was wonderful. However, the purchase experience was not. I feel they took advantage of my desire for a 2021 Ford Ranger. I was contacted by Justin when one came in unexpectedly. There was a $5000 base cost upcharge (although, when I got home and saw the window stickers placed in glovebox after my purchase, it stated a $2500 base cost, NOT $5000) They did not honor the Ford X-Plan. They woefully undercut the Black book trade in value stating the concern related to accidents. Obviously. Theyre not too concerned as they listed my MINI COOPER for more than.$10k over what the sales manager initially offered. I dont think I will ever do business with Veterans Ford, or recommend them.
Nicole was awesome. I bought a great used car at a great price. The dealership is very nice and everyone is helpful and friendly.
The best sales experience I have ever had in the car business. Note, this is my 10th car transaction. Francisco, is the name. If you can work with him, he will take great care of you. Honest, smart, efficient, all of the above. Even detailed my care for free!! 10/10. Wish we had more people like him in the car industry.
This was my first time to Veterans Ford. The appointment set up was smooth and simple. I needed some service, oil change wiper blades etc. The drop off process was easy and quick. The pickup was fine. The only thing that was a miss was putting the repaired wheel back on the truck snd reinstall the spare. They corrected the mistake. No problem
Dominic was polite and professional. He explained in detail what needed to be done in an understandable manner. Since the work on my car would take several hours, he kindly drove me home and picked me up when my car was ready, which was sooner than I expected. Freddy also was attentive and accommodating. This was the first time I had taken a car to Veterans Ford for service and I definitely shall be a returning customer. I’ll highly recommend Veterans to others without equivocation.
I was called that parts for a recall for my Ford Explorer were in and I needed to make an appointment and I did. Next I called to reschedule my appointment and I was told I didn’t have an appointment so made a new one. It was suggested to me to come in on a Tuesday morning because Mondays were busy. It was also suggested to me that if I brought my car in on the afternoon of the day before my appointment I would be the first in line to get my recall done. So my husband and I dropped off my car on Monday afternoon for my Tuesday morning appointment. It was explained to me that the repair was quite simple and my car would be done within 10 or 15 minutes and be ready in the morning. When I called to check in the next afternoon about my vehicle I was told they were not going to be able get to it that day. When I said I had an appointment and I was told it would be a quick fix they were going to try to see if they could get it fit in. Then I received a call that the bolts for my recall were in but not the bracket and they would need to order that but they would have it first thing in the morning and I could pick up my car shortly after that. When I called the next afternoon to check on my vehicle I was told they were going to be able to get to it that day. When I explained how badly I needed my vehicle they replied they would try their best. Then they actually called and said you can head this way your car is being worked on right now. My husband and son proceeded to head towards the dealership during a torrential rain and rush-hour traffic only to be greeted with the fact that my car actually wasn’t fixed because they were missing one of the bolts that they needed. The bolts that they had called me and told me they had received for the recall!. When I asked if the service manager Travis could call me that night I was told Travis said he would call you at 7 AM.When I said that was not acceptable there was no reply!Surprisingly bolts and brackets were found the fourth day that my car was in the shop for an appointment for a 10 minute fix! We have purchased five vehicles from veterans Ford and we will never do it again!By the way went to the mailbox when I got home and my Ford Explorer 2016 has another recall!
Over all very good experience. Arrived with one code, service requested was done. Left with a new code, and the bad news of major repairs that I was really hopeful the original service was going to fix. Will be back for the major repairs and some recall work.
Brandon was great. He was responsive and informative about my service.
I’ve taken my car here twice and both times I have been extremely happy with my experience. The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I’m able to get my car in for service without waiting more than a day and the service has been completed quickly. I would definitely recommend Veterans Ford
First of all I made an appointment which could not be kept. I called on a Thursday and they told me it would be best for me to come in on Monday at 9 am. I did so and when I did they were experiencing problems with their computer overbooking excetera. And then wanted me to leave my car and had previously promised me a ride back to my house while they were working on my car however the person who was supposed to be driving me back to my house was not scheduled to come in until 11 a.m. so they wanted me to wait around for 2 hours for a ride back.We ended up rescheduling for the next day. I called them the next day and they said it would be best if I bring them on Wednesday. I bought the car in on Wednesday at 9 a.m. as scheduled. They were out of rental car so it took approximately an hour to get me a rental. Heres where it really starts to get bad. They had my car from Wednesday at 9 a.m. and did not even look at my car until Tuesday morning. So I paid 6 days for a rental car for absolutely no reason. Then they came back and told me the car needed $5,636 worth of repairs. I ultimately got the car fixed for $1,400 at a mechanic I have used previously. Prior to taking the car to the mechanic rather than Veterans Ford for that outrageous cost the mechanic told me to ask Veterans Ford why I needed a new electronic rack and pinion steering gear. The price of which was $1,332.80 and required $1,002.55 worth of Labor. The response I got from Brandon Johnson the service manager was: the steering gear has internally failed, resulting in the right side of the vehicle to turn too far which has caused the left axle to fail. When the tires overextended, it pulls the axle out of place on the left. However everything I have seen and from the mechanic who ended up fixing my Ford Explorer is there is nothing wrong with the electronic steering gear. It is a closed system and there would be no way for him to know if there was an internally broken part and the car was not giving any code for rack and pinion steering nor was it making any sounds for rack and pinion steering I was merely having a rattling sound coming out of my drive way when I made a tight left or right turn and started to accelerate. The private mechanic replaced both CV axles and the AC unit all of which from a parts perspective was priced at 30% less than Ford and the total cost of which was roughly $1,400 versus an estimated cost from Veterans Ford of $5,636 Plus the $400 that I spent on of the car rental to no avail. I will be writing Ford Corporation customer service regarding this dealership but I thought I should do my civic duty and let buyers beware.
I was greeted professionally and courteously upon my arrival for my vehicle service appointment. I was kept updated on the status of my vehicle at all times. My service manager was outstanding throughout the entire time I was there.
Scheduled Oil change and tire rotation, service was friendly setting up the appointment. I let her know I worked night shift the night before so I would like an afternoon appointment, 1pm is fine. She asked had the car been there before? No, I’ve never been there for service. So NEW CUSTOMER shows up for appointment to be told they are running 2 HOURS Behind!!! Good customer service would have called the customer ahead of time to say hey we are running 2 hours behind is that ok or would you like to reschedule? Not let that first time customer show up and be told they are going to be there 2 hours or so before they can even get you in to their scheduled appointment. I am very understanding if I get a call that says hey sorry we are running behind what would you like to do? But to show up and have my time wasted aggravates me to no end. End result I am taking the car elsewhere, and will probably not try them again! Respect your customers time, we understand short staffed, ran into problems earlier that cost you to be running late, but not calling and letting a customer New or Existing know before arriving is bad business!
The vendor: Excellence, No Presaure, friendly, courteous, great manners.I left the place with the truck I wanted and with my plate. They found I had several license plates available that I did not know. The process of closing was amazing, signed just once in a tablet an the rest was just clicking !I highly recommend this dealership
My last experience with Veterans Ford was not great. Before this it was acceptable. There was one service advisor who was great, and the service manager was also great. Work on my car had to be re-done as the first attempt was unsuccessful as I discovered. Communication from a certain service advisor was poor which left me in the dark. There was an apparent reluctance to return my calls. I turned up to collect my vehicle after being told it would be ready and it was not, and the job took over a week that should have taken two days at the most. There seems to be a shortage of mechanics and there was no courtesy driver recently. As usual most people are doing their best and there are 1 or 2 making a mess.
I recently bought a car from veterans Ford veterans Ford it was a spur-of-the-moment thing but it was so easy that I ended up buying the car within an hour the process was very easy the salesman Tim salesman Tim was amazing Sean the finance manager aunts manager and everyone that helped me there was just amazing if you ever want to buy a car please go to veterans Ford its a very good place for you to get the cheapest lowest price ever
From the moment of arrival to the service department, I felt welcomed.
Bought a vehicle here and the 5,000 warranty that goes with it. Three months later I have issues with a leak, wipers, electrical, seatbelt not working and I get hit with a 100.00 deductible and 199.00 an hour diagnostic fee. Kind of a racket if you ask me. In addition I’m allowed 35.00 a day for a rental car when I should just be given a rental or courtesy car. What rental car can I get for 35.00 a day… Rent a Wreck
I had an appoint on Friday morning. Due to technician call offs my vehicle wasn’t seen by a technician until Monday at 3pm. A long list of repairs was provided without priority of need. I took my vehicle elsewhere to have it re-diagnosed and repaired for $2k less than the quote I received from Veterans. I will not be returning to Veterans nor would I recommend anyone go there for service.
Matt and veterans Ford were able to make major repairs in a short time frame. My car drives like it’s brand new. Matt was on top of the service process and kept me informed of what needed to be done to the vehicle. Big improvement from when I got my car serviced at veterans last time.
My new truck is the 6th vehicle that I have bought through Veterans Ford. I have always found them straight forward, trustworthy and easy to deal with. Never had them try to pull anything shady. Just like with every dealership though, you have to do your homework up front. Not hard to do with the internet. I highly recommend Veterans Ford.
Getting work done on my 2016 GT and decided to jump into a 2021 GT. Now I am a manual guy but that transmission has issues I would like to avoid later on. This automatic surprised me and got me hooked. Salesman was nice then after that it is the typical car buying experience, nothing bad. Ive had work done here before with no issues and the service department is good with giving you timely updates.
Jason in finance will get you where you need to be every timeSales dept is fantasticBest place to buy a car/truck in Tampa area
Very friendly staff, they work with you unlike Brandon Ford… Brandon Ford pretty much kicked me out the door when I was trying to buy a new truck.. went right over to Veterans Ford and ended up leaving with a more expensive truck at the monthly price I originally wanted. Not going anywhere else in the future
George my service rep is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. His customer service is top notch. My vehicle was completed within time frame I was told. I am very pleased with service and friendliness of entire staff.
Just bought my second Ford from this dealer this within 8 months. Both transaction were handled great!I found the truck and suv online. They called and we spoke about them. Did all the credit stuff online. Was called back both times with details on the deal.Between both transactions weve only spent about 4 hours in the dealer total! We drive by several other ford dealers to do business here. We live in Polk County. Its worth the drive but to have to spend more time than needed in the dealer.
Carter was outstanding and communicated with me through out the day with status updates and patched a tire for me when they discovered a mail in it.
Veterans Ford runs a smooth service dept. Even though I live in St Pete, I dont mind the drive to Tampa for my trucks services. Keep up the good work Veterans.
Dan Landon and the team were friendly, respectful, and overall awesome! Dan worked hard to find a great truck for me that fit within my budget! Thank you!
Car dealerships can be scary places of pressure and half truths. NOT Veterans Ford. Fabulous dealership competent and honest people! We worked with Barbara McCann. Will definitely recommend this dealer.
I was well taken care of by Matt and the Veterans Ford people . I will gladly ues them again for all my automotive needs
Easiest and fastest experience I have ever had buying a car. Nicole and Jason were great. Made the experience painless.
Very happy it was only a puncture of my tire. Very sad I had to wait from 1:00 until 4:15 to get my car back. I realize that they wanted me to drop it off and pick it up, however, had I not been there, I fear it wouldn’t have been ready until tomorrow. And it was a small thing for them to fix. Just wish it had been done in a more timely manner. Everyone there was very nice, pleasant, easy to work with. I would definitely bring my car back to them and would try to make other accommodations for the time I had to wait. As I said, they are very pleasant to work with.
Mike showed superior customer service when I was getting my truck serviced. The sales side has always been fantastic. Lorenzo has taken care of my family and I for years!
George was so friendly and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Recommend!
Great customer service! They were very accommodating and helpful. Thank you Nicole!
Dan is wonderful! He is a great guy and so easy to talk with when making such a large purchase. Were return customers to Veterans Ford and theres certainly a reason for that. Employees like Dan Landon will keep us coming back for our future vehicle purchases and servicing.
A friend and I were driving around Tampa in hopes of finding a car. Although Veterans Ford was on the list and appeared to have what he wanted online, he was tired and ready to head home. Gave it a second thought and VERY glad that he did! Eric Brown, our salesman, had the vehicle pulled up in minutes, was completely thorough, professional and was super knowledgeable. We felt at ease and comfortable with the whole experience. Eric definitely made the car buying process as smooth as it possibly could be!
Recently bought a used car. Drive out my way to this dealer. Everything was fine, even finance was great. All I asked was that the car be detailed prior to returning it to me. The car was barely washed. Loose random wires in the car, that I requested they pull prior to returning me the vehicle. Cost me 100$ on the back end. Service is in the details.
So we have been looking for a Jeep Wrangler for years. We have come across some here and there and never found the right one. Finally located a listing at Veterans Ford and met with Eric the salesman. Eric was very professional. He spoke with us more than just selling the car and made my wife and I feel comfortable. We finally got the Jeep of our dreams and thanks to Eric, everything went just great!! Thanks again
Very poor service. Brought vehicle in at 7:30 am and was told they would contact me with diagnosis. I already knew that I might have to come back for a second visit for warranty work. At 6 PM that same day that it’s still not even looked at my vehicle. When I asked why all they could do was apologize. I asked to speak with the service manager or director and left a message and neither one had the courtesy to return my call. The service rep I had was new and only there two weeks and while trying to be cordial and nice was very equipped to handle the problem.I ended up having to leave my vehicle overnight only to get diagnosed by 3 PM the following day. Which as I suspected they would have to order parts and I would have to return again.I understand there’s a labor shortage but the simple courtesy of telling me when I dropped my vehicle off that they might not be able to get to it today would’ve been nice. I would highly recommend going to a different dealership.
I had an issue with one of the Batteries in my F250. My truck had to be towed in and I was with out a vehicle. I spoke to Travis T and even tho my truck did not get to the dealership till 11:30 Am and his service drive was slammed he was still able to get me back on the road by 3:00pm. Thanks again to Travis and his team for understanding my situation and getting me in and out so fast. They actually made me feel important and not like just another number.
I went to veterans Ford to do my oil change and the service it was amazing, special my advisor Michael Debois.
I put the car for me oil and lube on Monday to be in and out in a couple of days. I got call that it needed 6 extra things that were not an emergency to do, and I did not get my car back until Saturday. I love that car but a senior citizen who needs the car every week for dr. appts and groceries and found a great inconvenience.
Very attentive and friendly. Very satisfied with the service and timely work.
Freddy was great from start to finish in the servicing of my car. He was friendly, highly professional and thorough. If you need your Ford serviced see Freddy at Veteran’s Ford.
Ask for Eric Brown!! It was my first time buying a car from a dealership so I was a bit worried but he was very patient and kind while he guided me through the process and got me the best deal we could get. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a car thanks to his professionalism. Thanks to everyone there!
Matt did a great job as our service advisor and took good care of us.
Freddy was by far the most helpful anyone could expect and I appreciate his professionalism and pleasant disposition.
Have bought two vehicles here. Only one small repair in 4 years. The cost of our vehicles was so good couldnt believe it.Was helped by Eric to come in and get vehicle and he followed through after with call to make sure we were satisfied. Believe Brian showed us vehicle for test drive and helped us with vehicle. Everyone there was professional and friendly. Financial department made everything easy she was great but didnt get name. Fastest service ever had got purchase done very quickly and efficiently everyone worked together. Will be recommending to everyone I can. Extremely happy and satisfied
Marc Fisher and the finance team helped me purchase my first car on my own out of state. They were so trust worthy and helpful. My car is EXACTLY what I wanted and needed!
Great staff, great customer service and Manager Travis oversee it all, his approach was one of absolute helpfulness and humility.I came in contact with Julio and Freddie as well and both were kind and understanding.I am a happy and satisfied customer.
Our time at the dealership was great. Adam, our sales guy, took the time to answer all the questions we had and allowed us to test drive as many cars as we needed until we found the right one. This made our experience one like no other, he did not make us feel pressured to buy a car and gave us the time to make the right choice for us. If I had to rate Adam he deserves a 10/10. If you are looking for any type of vehicle, old or new, visit Veterans Ford and ask for Adam, he will make sure you are satisfied.
Great Transaction.. I’m from Fort Myers and was looking for a newer/used Cadillac xt5 platinum. I tried our local dealership, valward cadillac but got no where...... I reached out 3-4 times and was told they would get back to me but never did. So I continued my search via auto trader. Miami, Orlando and Tampa all had the same cars but $3 to $7 thousand dollars cheaper then Val ward? Same Years, miles and trim packages......... so I found one at Veterans Ford in Tampa..... sent the info note to them, and within minutes I received a call from Harold the used car salesman. They sent a ton of pictures, so there would be no surprises when I got there........ they are open 7 days a week unlike our Fort Myers dealership that closes at 5:30 during the week? How can a working person buy there? When I picked up the car Saturday it was around 7:30 and I was in an out within 20 minutes....... everyone was very nice.... the dealership was clean and spacious so everyone was social distancing. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. Thank you guys for making the transaction quick, smooth and easy.
Great dealership, friendly people always willing todo what it takes to make their customers happy.
An easy, friendly, awesome car buying experience! I have bought many cars over the years and Veteran Ford by far is the best out of all of them. I was treated fairly and with respect. My experience, from start to finish, was simple and straight forward. Francisco helped me get into an amazing Ford truck. I will be coming back for next vehicle and the one after that.
I have been a customer of Veterans Ford for 11 years and have purchased multiple vehicles. I could not be happier. The service manager Travis is a Rock Star and he and his Team have always gone above and beyond. I have also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Lorenzo and I have to say they work overtime to make their customers happy. Whether your shopping for a vehicle or need service, Travis will take care of you professionally, quickly and with care.
I purchased my new Ford Ranger this past week. I had an outstanding experience and the process was one of easiest and most hassle free car buying experiences ever. Leo (Salesman) was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Mark (New Car Director) no-nonsense, friendly and just a great guy. Alesha (F&I Manager) great personality and very easy to work with. Lorenzo (GM/Partner) a great guy and nonsense...Lorenzo commands a great crew and it was a pleasure doing business with Veterans Ford. If you market for any type of car, I highly recommend Veterans Ford (Tampa)
Wonderful people. I was in a crunch to get a car. They were proactive and received same day service delivering my new car to me. YOU ARE THE BEST VETERANS FORD!! LOVE MY NEW CAR AND THANK YOU!!!
Charles was great...quick and eady peasy to trade in and purchase a new ride! Thanks so much!! :)
Awesome experience. Salesperson (LaVance) was very helpful and understanding and with management put together a terrific deal on the used car I was looking at. We were able to take care of a lot of the credit part from home which saved time at the dealership. Jason was great in getting the paperwork together and on my way. No pressure and fair in negotiations. Highly recommend.
Matt was really great in the service department! Very helpful and knowledgeable
Had a great experience at Veterans Ford Tampa. The staff was friendly, informative and quick. Dan our sales guy was awesome. So if your looking for a new or used vehicle they have plenty of inventory. I 100% recommend them.
I was presented with a detailed estimate of charges for my scheduled maintenance prior to the repairs. When the maintenance was completed, my bill was reviewed with me by my service technician, which I appreciated.
Best visit Ive had with this dealership. I was able to set the appointment at short notice and received excellent service from the advisor.
Julio Lopez he is the best advisor I have ever met. He is patient and careful. In order to solve all the problems and help me update the information, thank you very much, you guys have chosen the right person as the advisor.
Customer service not great, but somewhat redeemed. I scheduled an appointment for my car at 8AM on a Tuesday to have a safety recall completed. I was told it would be a few hours. Went for a walk and returned 3 hrs later to find the car had not been in the shop, they would call me. At the end of the day I did receive a call to say my car did not get in the shop, they would need to keep it overnight. I asked the purpose of an appointment if the car isnt even looked at that day (or most of the next day as it turns out) and was told That schedules an appointment with service advisor only!!! I dont schedule time at a service center for Service advisor time. Not great customer service and communication, but late on the second day after i had said I would get the car back and take it somewhere else, I got a call that they got it into the shop and worked the issue. I would have preferred a more realistic assessment of when they could get to it the first day, but did appreciate the efforts to recover.
I bought my vehicle (mustang) here 5 years ago with an extended warranty. I’ve never taken it anywhere else for service. I’ve had quite a lot of issues over the years with the car. I’ve been bringing my car in periodically due to the engine light coming on. It’s been 8 months since the last time the light came on and I brought it in. Since Covid it has barely been driven and stored the garage. When I brought my car in this time, they reported there was a list of issues, it was mind boggling. So you ask, why did you change from 5 stars to 1? 1. Poor communication, I had to call every time to get an update on my vehicle (they had it for a week, including over the weekend). 2. The information told to me was crazy, then it changed when my husband called. 3. They couldn’t find the records of the issues I’ve had on the car over the last 5 years. Including when I had the fluids changed on it. But when my husband called they miraculously found them. 4. New management and new service staff. I hear Elder Ford has a great new Service Manager.
Awesome place for service! Everyone was great! Always takes care of everything I asked for and in a timely manor!
Had an amazing service appointment today!! My appointment was for 8am once I arrived, my service advisor went quick to work. Within 22 minutes I was being alerted by my advisor my services were completed. For this and many other reasons Veterans Ford will remain my Ford dealer of choice. I drive straight across the city with 2 other Ford dealers in my path just to go there.Keep up the great work!! God Bless!!
Did a great job with time management and keeping me informed every step of the way!
After taking my vehicle for the 30k maintenance, brake recall and an oil change. They forgot to do the oil change. After having to return so they could do the oil change, they find 2 nails in one tire, which was no biggie. I gave the ok for them to order the new tire. They suggested a tire rotation, I agreed. Service was done…. As am pulling out of the dealership, I hear a strange noise and my steering wheel starts vibrating and the car pulling towards the right side. I immediately return to the dealership and tell them there’s something weird. They take the car and have me wait in the waiting area. Finally, 10 to 15 minutes later the Service Manager takes me to his office and proceeded to tell me that the mechanic forgot to secure the knots on the right side front tire and that it came off as they were driving the car back into the shop, damaging the rim.So they have to replace the rim. By the way this was said like non chalantly… like I forgot to take my vitamins this morning type of thing. Anyway, the replacement rim was damaged, so they had to order another. Finally, they call me to go and pick up my car and notice that the tire with the 2 nails is still on my car. They hadn’t replaced the tire at all. So, not only they almost provoked an accident, but they damaged the original rim of the suv and they almost didn’t install an already paid for replacement tire. And then they are just like oh so sorry. Let me not charge you for the handy work of changing the tire. Also, let me add after I got home my vehicle was still acting weird and what was discovered was that when the tire/rim fell off the suv after not securing the knots, this caused a misalignment. So I had to take the suv to another dealership to have it fixed.Veterans Ford will never, ever work on either of my vehicles. Their quality of work and their turnaround of advisers is appalling. I used to like their work, but it has declined abysmally. I recommend Bill Currie Ford all the way, I used to go to them, but for convenience I was going to Veterans, but not any more.
I purchased a vehicle Monday morning with Veterans Ford ❣️❣️ Awsomeee staff and team!! Nicole Lallier with Veterans Ford, Internet Sales Consultant originally helped me online then via texts about the type of vehicle I needed for my kids & me. During the beginning of this I was quite nervous, did not really know where to start. She not only gave me a sense of stability but reinsurance that she could help me find a reliable cheap affordable family and work vehicle. Kind of an all-in-one with decent mileage. I did not make it easy I requested under 300 a month trunk space back seat space low mileage and overall reliability. Well she signed and delivered my payments are under $300 a month I walked out with a 2016 low mileage vehicle. It is used and after leaving my left blinker went out however Ive had the car now about a week no issues other than my blinker going out nothing but positive vibes from the dealership after purchase they called and checked in to make sure everything was okay and that I was happy with my purchase or experience. I will definitely be referring friends and family to Veterans Ford for their new or used vehicles. The staff here worked very hard actually several hours for me to walk out the same day with a wonderful car. I only put down $2,500 which is also not very much compared to most people. Overall this was a great experience they enlightened me on several car buying details and tips I drove away confident 😊😁 thank you Nicole for your patience and passionate efforts.
Great service department. Best one in Tampa
Service was great! Have been using them for years. Problem is that as you arrive I read the sign that says masks are required when inside. Great, I totally understand. When I get in the Mask wearing is sporadic at best. If your going to make the patrons wear a mask they should to. Would have given them a 1 star but there service is really good. I just don’t want to get COVID just to get an oil change!
Purchased a car from Francisco and Adam a week ago. While driving the new car I mentioned a shake in the steering wheel and whining noise coming from the engine. Francisco said he would schedule an appointment for a technician to fix the issue. Day of the appointment I get a text stating that a technician who previously looked at the car said its fine. Take the car for an inspection and now Im stuck with a $800 repair bill which includes a new tensioner, front tires and alignment...issues that should have been acknowledged and fixed prior to sale.
Gthey fit me in on my schedule and finished earlier than expected. Great team.
Worst service experience Ive ever had. I could list a number is different things but heres our current issue. Two months ago we brought our truck in for a recall repair. They had my vehicle in the shop for 7.5 hours and when I called to see when it would be finished was told they didnt have the recall part at all and we would need to pick the truck up and they would call us to reschedule. (Why did they make the appointment in the first place???). Its now been eight weeks and Ive had four phone calls from Ford asking how my service was. Each time I say what service? because this has never been completed. Each time, were told sometime will call us can immediately to get this rectified but were still waiting.
Work was done quickly and perfectly. My service representative Mike could not have been easier to work with. Good place to service your Ford.
It was easy and quick. Staff are very respectful and responsible, and informative. Entire process was seamless.
I contemplated whether or not I was going to leave this review, because, in the end, I did get the car that I wanted. However, the process and misleadings that took place with Veterans Ford was less than ideal and not something that I would want others to go through. I do want to note that this review is not in regards to the sales/financial people that we worked with because those people were nice to work with. Instead this review is in regards to how this location is being managed.Prior to going to the dealership, I was messaging back and forth with one of the salesmen. I had asked if they had a specific vehicle available in their inventory on site. We were told that yes, they did and had some options for us to come look at. I specifically asked if the vehicle was on their lot before we journeyed over there. Since he told me yes, we loaded up our 10 month old and made an hour drive there to leave with the exact Explorer that we have been looking for. Upon our arrival, we were told that they really dont have that one, but someone is friends with another dealership and can get it to us the next day. At this point, I shouldve trusted my gut and left immediately since theyve already misled us once, but they were so confident that the car we want could be delivered to us the next day that we decided to make a purchase. The next day rolls around (Sunday) and we are told that they cannot get the vehicle in that day and it is looking more like Monday. Then Monday morning rolls around and they still have no idea of when they will be able to get it and when it will get to us. So their confidence of getting it to us no problem was another blatant lie to make their sale. Finally, I get a call from one of the managers (Mark) who at least is giving me more updates than I could get from anyone else, but even he does not have answers. Finally, we are told that they can get the vehicle but that the dealership that they are getting it from is having an event that day so it cant be done until at least Tuesday. When they go to set up a time for us to get the car Tuesday, the manager had never been told by our sales girl that it was supposed to be being delivered, so instead of scheduling a time right away, we then had to hang up so that Mark could go find out more info about what was told to us. Finally we set a time up for delivery between 11:30-1:00 on Tuesday. We received the car Tuesday at 2:00 (an hour past the delivery time). The salesman delivering it did send me a text letting me know that he was going to be late which I am grateful for, but after the constant changes that were made you would think that they wouldve made sure that they at least got the car to us in the hour and a half delivery time. When the car was finally delivered and I was sharing some frustrations about my experience, I was informed that the boss doesnt allow them to be honest about whether they have the vehicle in stock or not because they just want to get people in and then try and work them over. As frustrated as I was, I do appreciate this salesman being honest.A business that encourages lying to possible customers is not someplace that we will utilize again and would not advise others to use. Honesty goes a long way with us, and if we had been told at the beginning that they did not have it but could secure the car for us, we probably wouldve heard them out and still given them a chance, but now after everything that happened, we will not be using this Ford dealership again. If youre looking for a Ford vehicle, we would suggest to try some other locations first.
I highly recommend Veterans Ford. We were impressed with quality and great price on the vehicle. All the employees went over above to make it a really positive and painless experience. One of the mangers responded personally to my Internet Inquiry, had the car ready for us out front when we got there .The sales team member and finance person were all knowledge about the vehicle, courteous and professional. They answer all questions, but were not hard selling or pushy. They were available but gave us space. This is the second car I have purchased from them and both experiences were excellent! I have used other companies in the past but by far they excel on being personable and meeting the customers needs.
5 stars for the sales department. Shawn and Daniel were excellent. Answered all our questions and made the car buying process easy. I would recommend using them in the future.0 stars for the finance department, more specifically, Darrell. He explained to us the different options for warranties and GAP insurance. After telling him the first 5 times we did not want GAP insurance, he continuously tried to pressure us into getting GAP. After another 5 times of telling him no (10 times total now) he told us we were making the wrong decision not buying GAP insurance and that he personally thought we needed it. I guess he doesn’t like to take no for an answer. Hope this helps.
Mike did a great job of communicating through the process.
I purchased my car from Veterans Ford and have used their service department for my cars needs ever since. It’s been 14 years now. No complaints. The service manager is always available for any questions that a customer may have. If you’re waiting for your vehicle in their lounge area, they will keep you up-to-date as to The progress of your vehicle.I would definitely recommend Veterans Ford for all of your cars needs. Great customer service!!
Service manager was young and inexperienced. Did not engage professionally. Went to Veterans based on convenience . Wrong move on my part. I will go out of my way and return to Bill Currie where I am treated like a VIP.
Lorenzo Pena and the Ford team really took great care of my car. They help with scratches in my car that become a nuisance and really put work into taking the out. I went in for a regular oil change but they gave my car grade a top of the line car care by going over and beyond. Thank you Veterans Ford for the treatment and efficiency.
We are so happy that my son bought his Car from Veterans FordWe were looking for a specific car with safety features that only Ford produces as standard features for their Brand. We had made appointments at 2 Ford Dealerships closer to New Tampa to buy the car. For 2 days the cars were sold to other people while we were at the dealer. Appointments with a salesman meant nothing to them!We tried a 3rd day to make an appointment at Veterans Ford for the Ford Fusion on their website. We spoke with Brian Taylor in Sales. He was very enthusiastic with a confident personality to make everything work out for us and everything just clicked. He did not do the shell game. He made sure to locate the car and start the financing so we could be assured to buy the car we wanted. He constantly kept us up to date with the process. Manager Adam Petiss was also very involved in making sure everything was moving along, especially with his expertise in financing. He is very skilled in management and has a great rapport communicating and understanding the customers needs.Brian Taylor drove to one of their dealerships in Orlando to get the car to his dealership the day my son was to pick up the car. It was about a 4 hour trip for him. He was once again happy and enthusiastic. He has a lot of integrity and cares about people. While we were waiting to get the car we spoke with Finance manager Jason Modugno. He made sure to find a reputable company for extended warranty, explained the purchase agreement and financing for the car. He answered and clarified anything we did not understand. What we experienced was a great Team Effort where everyone was dedicated to ensuring our success to buy the car we wanted! They all worked together to make it happen using their expertise, genuine integrity, honesty and enthusiasm for their customers. I believe that if people have integrity it is always translated in their actions.Thank you so much for selling such a very Safe Car for my son to drive!
