I just moved from Nj to Fl in Oct and my 5yr time frame to get licensed was almost up!!! Mrs. Rena helped me with relearning and getting my required 40hrs to take the Fl state exam and today I passed with flying colors and received my cosmetology licenses!!!! I’m so grateful!!! World Class Hair Salon is one of the most highly favored Salons in Tallahassee, Florida. Everyone there is very friendly and willing to help out as much as possible. Wait time is no longer than 15 minutes, they get you in and out. Very clean and organized.

Some of the students are very committed to pleasing you and patient. Willingly acceptance to different styles and tackle them with enthusiasm. Whereas some are too complacent.

Beautiful place, just beautiful it was a joy for my sister to be there and getting her hair done. Much love😀

Great friendly service with no form of discrimination. Full of loving family like members. Service to all alike male and female, black, white red and yellow. The love of God is in this place.

The atmosphere is as if they did you a favor by being open & allowed you to come in. The owner was there during the service I got done never greeted anyone customer while there. They seemed more focused on a family member getting green hair matched up for homecoming than interacting with the customers or stopping by while stylist were doing hair. The products used on my hair seemed to be cheap or poorly matched with my natural 4C hair. My hair naturally curls & waves up when water alone is applied, isnt course & has deep curl definition. After the stylist washed my hair & conditioned., no product was used on it to blow-dry it out, nor applied afterwards. She used a small tooth comb to comb my hair out :O who does that on 4C hair without FIRST making sure you de-tangle with a wide-tooth comb, de-tangling brush or ensure the hair isnt tangled? FYI- a clients hair shouldnt need to be de-tangled after you blow-dry the hair. Maybe if someone is getting something done with fake hair they dont expect to keep, maybe it would be safe. However, as of my experience here & observation I wouldnt recommend it. Maybe if the owner would view the establishment as a true CUSTOMER SERVICE business, present herself a little more humble & CUSTOMER oriented whether than giving the perception of being primarily MONEY focused only, this minority owned business would really be World Class.

The teachers here are extremely hands on and knowledgable of their craft! If youve been thinking about being licensed in the beauty industry, World Class is the place for you!

I went in for a wash and press... My hair is VERY curly and the sister was able to have my hair clean and bone straight under 2hrs... Very pleased!!! And very reasonable price!!!! Will be coming back!!!!!

As a two time graduate and stylist of World Class, I have learned so much and continue to learn more everyday. I used my Post 9/11 G.I. Bill to pay for my tuition for the cosmetology and barbering courses. Renae Rollins along with her staff of instructors ensures that all students are fully capable of passing state test on the first time.On Thurday, my fellow vets recieve a free hair cut and shave (males). For the female vets, your services that are $10 or less are free (eyelashes, eyebrow waxing, or shampoo with style not included). Proof of service is needed.Come by to enroll or get a service. Financial aid is available.
