Friendly and helpful staff. The place is clean. I feel comfortable working out here. People keep their distance the best they can. The black card is great for being able to use the other planet fitnesses in the area. Although this location has been the best so far.

I left a comment about some sticking leg machines and within 48 hours the manager called me to tell me the issues will be addressed ASAP. Who does that anymore??? I feel like the management really cares and wants to make sure each member has a great experience. 5 stars from me for sure!

Its is challenging every visit and I am impressed with the muscles strengthen i now built back up and the weight Ive lost in one month of joining as a member. Looking forward to more weight loss and feeling healthier. Very satisfied

I have been going to this gym for a while and I have no complaints. The staff is nice and helpful, they work hard to keep the place clean. They have put up signs to help with social distancing. Overall I this is a good place to workout.

They don’t let you cancel your membership unless you are in person or send a letter in the mail. You can’t even call them and tell them your information that you would otherwise just write in a letter. It’s a total scam. Make sure to cancel before you move otherwise you’ll be stuck in this trap.Update: what the owner of this planet fitness said below is incorrect. They will not let you cancel over the phone

I love planet fitness. My only compliant is when Im trying get in a 30min workout and their people are in the room not following the lights. They are nursing one machine or sitting a machine playing on their phone. Its like why are you in here to? Go use the machines out front, they are free and you are in my way. I pay for my membership just like you. I want to use the room for its intended purpose, get out.

The Manager at the North Monroe location said she was going to refund my yearly fee because of my own fault..highly recommend this place

What a joke. Revolving door of people who don’t know what they’re doing. Absolutely incompetent staff. Spent 8 months going almost daily and the amount of people I saw come and go in is shocking. Both staff and patrons, revolving door. If you like working out around people who have no clue about gym etiquette or staff that could care less about anything then this is your place.

I have stopped at this club twice now recently while in the Capitol on business and have been hassled and refused service by Jess twice now very early in the morning.As a Black Card member who stops in clubs nationwide often simply for a shower and hydro massage after Very Important Meetings iam Very Unsatisfied with this Club. Ive been to quite a couple gyms over the years and can definitely say that this gym has one of the most family like welcomes where I feel not only invited, but appreciated. I see so many people go to this location all day everyday and I dont see how this place doesnt have the five stars it deserves. The staff are friendly and helpful, the machines are always in good working order, and its always clean (seriously, theyre constantly cleaning, lol). But my favorite thing about PF is the Hydromassage tables, which I take advantage of after every workout, and the primary reason I chose PF over other gyms!

I was calling to cancel my membership because I have covid. They told me its fine for me to still come in as long as I wear my mask. Im trying to think of a word to describe this behavior that doesnt involve me swearing but Im at a loss. Just plain stupid and irresponsible.

We moved here from Michigan and Ive been reading the reviews on all the Planet Fitness in Tallahassee. Many people complaining they are not wearing mask at feb gym.So, my husband and I decided to try this location.... did not even walk inside!! First, through the windows, I see employees with mask on but not covering mouth or nose. Then, look over and see more than half of the patrons not wearing mask.So, do I dare try another location and waste my time?? Not sure but youll definitely be seeing my review on whatever location I try next.

Extremely friendly service and a large array of workout equipment, especially for cardio such as elipticals and tredmills. The memberships are relatively cheap for a gym even with the annoying sign up and annual fees, which are fully disclosed. I do reccomend a black card if youre thinking about signing up, it comes with a lot of benefits to justify the increased cost. The drinks offering in the vending machines are still overpriced though, even with the black card discount.

What to say thank you to the lady my wife and I spoke with yesterday on the phone that canceled my wifes membership . She was very understanding about why my wife canceled and very professional. She sent a email in less them 30 seconds to confirm that the agreement was terminated. Thanks again and Planet fitness should be very happy to have you on their staff.

Just recently moved from the Tampa location the machines at this location are not up to par. Assistant manager that was there today was very rude with trying to change my home gym, did not show me around or ask if I had any questions about their gym. I would assume they would give me a tour since it’s my first time or the very least point to important things I should know from the desk. I walked around for 3 minutes looking for daily lockers that has a combination pad (that’s what they have in Tampa) until I realized they don’t have it. Machines are old and they don’t have ALOT of machines that the one in Tampa has, very disappointed. During my time there I saw no worker going around cleaning machines like they do in Tampa. This gym is a complete downgrade and based on this one visit I decided to cancel my membership because it’s a waste of money at this specific gym.

Went in for a tour. The gym was packed, at least 60 people in there. I estimate about 10 were wearing masks. This place is a superspreader. Stay away.

Whats not to love about this gym. Lets be real $10 a month is a crazy low price and you get way more than you pay for. I have worked out at a several PFs over the years and this one is right up there with the best of them. Something they do exceptionally well at this location is keeping the machines up and running. There are almost never broken/out of order machines and if they do break, they arent out of commission long. The staff is always very courteous and friendly to me. They keep everything clean and tidy. It can be a little crowded at peak times (5-7pm on weekdays) but that is to be expected. I love my mid day weekend workouts where I am almost alone!Not that this location is guilty of this, but make sure you understand the terms of your contract. There are often times where you can join for no commitment and $1/$0 down, but there is still a club fee that will be taken out of your account in October (I think). If you do join when you have to sign a year commitment, know that there is a cancellation fee BUT at $10 a month most of the time it is cheaper just to finish out your contracted year.

The staff kind and customer oriented. They helped me reinstate my membership when my mom came down to rest and restore. They are always upbeat and encouraging. They make me feel important and welcomed.

I love it, staff are always friendly and they keep it clean. The ladies bathroom has gone downhill in the past 3 months. But overall its a great place to workout.

This is a great planet fitness! It is always clean and I usually dont have any difficulty using the equipment that I want to use. I have seen people of all ages come to exercise here, so I think it is a good place to feel welcome which aligns with the values of Planet Fitness.

Very happy with this gym. January is expectedly busy and machines get well used, but the other 11 months, not crowded, well maintained. Clean locker rooms.

Nice gym and there is never a wait for workout equipment

Very clean facilities, friendly staff, and very affordable as far as gyms go. Only issue is for me, that you cant leave your stuff in the locker for more than a few days before theyre putting a notice up that you have to get your stuff out or that they are going to cut the lock and throw it away. I feel if you pay for a membership you should be able to keep your stuff there too.

I enjoy one location much better than the other, only because the staff is so much friendly and helpful. Every location i have been to was clean and has everything you need for a good work out . Thr massage chairs and beds are great as well.

I’ve been a member for over a year and was never told that there was a dress code against wearing a sports bra without a shirt. I’ve worked out in my sports bra before and never had any issues until I came in at 8:30 tonight (August 7, 2019) and was told to go home and put on a shirt. This dress code is completely sexist. Women work out in sports bras all the time in public, it’s not a big deal. A friend told me she was also told to go home because her shorts were too short one time, when they were perfectly normal shorts. The dress code at Planet Fitness is really sexist and they need to sort that out, because if enough female customers get burned, they will lose a lot of business.

This is a very convenient location. The gym kept clean. Plenty parking. You don’t wait for machines even when it is crowded. Good management and good customer service. They have multiple locations in Tallahassee but they charge extra for it. If you travel a lot, it helps to have roaming membership.

Open, organized facility with every conceivable machine, free weights, ellipticals, etc and at least two of everything. Clean workout and locker rooms, helpful assistance whenever needed, including classes, convenient location and a great price for it all!

It is open 24 hours a day. I can go whenever I want. The staff are friendly and can show how machines are supposed to be used. It is clean and light. I always feel good walking in the door.

Most of the equipment is in good shape, there are some though that could use some maintenance. Staff is nice, and overall helpful if you need anything.The showers and the changing rooms are usually in good shape, sometimes you can tell staff hasnt had time to clean. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Nice and open plenty of machines. Would be nice to be acknowledged and have the staff get off the stool instead of them waiting for you to walk around and give them your barcode.

When I started at Planet Fitness almost two years ago, I weighed 237 lbs, had to take insulin injections daily for Diabetes, and daily cholesterol and high blood pressure meds. With a commitment of 3 days per week of vigorous exercise and a healthier diet I have lost 50 lbs, don’t need any more meds, and I look and feel great in my new, much smaller size wardrobe. I have a 70th birthday coming up in 2 weeks, and I feel great. Thank you, Planet Fitness!!

I absolutely love it there. The staff is friendly and always make me feel right at home. Wouvel and Monica make a great team at the front desk. Besides being welcoming and encouraging, they see to it that the cleanliness of the facility is up to standard. I hardly see the restroom out of order nor a lack of supplies such as paper towels, hand sanitizer and cleaning solution. In addition to that, Im a night owl so the hours match my schedule perfectly. Overall, this is a great location and my experience has been nothing short of great. Your service is well appreciated. Thank you.

Love it will be back

Sort of a low intensity gym oriented towards people who just want to stay in shape. Lot of different exercise machines. (mostly Cybex) but limited free weights. Not much for people who want to bulk up. I didnt see any Personal Trainers.Massage and tanning booths. I didnt see aerobic/Zuma rooms.

Number 1, Mr. Willie Rogers review is obviously for a different location because this location just opened last week, 4/7/15.The facility is huge and the staff is friendly. This is a much better commute for me than the Capital Circle location, as I live in Quincy, Fl. The machines are top notch and I love the atmosphere. I definitely recommend this location. My only issue with Planet Fitness is the inability to pay out a contract in advance, that would make it perfect!
