My son has been going to PlayBig for over a year. He loves it and has made a lot of progress. All of the staff has been very professional and considerate of his needs.
We held our daughter’s birthday party here recently. The kids all enjoyed the space and had a good time playing. There were two employees who were there to help coordinate everything...the female employer was absolutely excellent! She was highly motivated and organized and was incredibly helpful during set-up. She also circulated during the party playing with the kids and helping pass out food/cake. The male employee made several of the adults and children uncomfortable. He made sporadic sexist comments, and was continuously trying to sell PlayBig and their various camps to our guests despite them making direct comments that they were not interested. Additionally, the price of the party was advertised as including plates/tablecloths/balloons/utensils in the colors of your choosing, but there were no party supplies there when we arrived. Fortunately, I came prepared with supplies just in case, but it would have been very frustrating to not have the themed party we had planned and paid a pretty hefty amount for.
I wish I had done a bit more Googling on this business than merely reading reviews. They are all positive because they request people remove the bad. If it seems odd and feels funny, it probably is. After having an evaluation on my child I contacted them requesting to discuss the eval. They ghosted me for over a week. I let it be known they wrote a diagnosis that they didnt perform the correct battery of tests to diagnose, and that they are not licensed to give (Im telling you --GOOGLE this place). I learned they were having administrative meetings to discuss my family and only after I left a negative Facebook review did they contact me. It would have been appropriate for their receptionist or manager to say Our owners are discussing this matter and you can expect a call on X day but that didnt happen because they didnt intend to call. Clearly they are more concerned with their image than the quality of evaluations they produce. I have since been contacted by multiple families who experienced the same with this business. I highly regret that I contacted this business.
Went for a birthday party and it was great entertainment and exercise for the children
Everything was great until my brother didn’t go for 2 therapies, called and let them know both times about him not being able to go. When we took him again they told us that he no longer had a spot at Play Big simply because he missed his therapies twice and there was no “proof” of us calling. Left a voicemail the first time and the second time spoke to a lady I’d rather not name. They let us know that someone else had already taken his spot and he would be put on the waiting list and they suggested we check the Play Big in Marianna.
Play big has been amazing for my son and the whole family. Could not imagine anyone else helping all of us the way they have. Every one that works here, care about all of the clients. Amazing.
Been going to Play Big for the past few months. Its a big trek for us because its 45 minutes from my house, but I felt like the therapy was helping my girls. They decided to discharge us from services recently because the last two weeks I had to do same day cancellation due to my kids coming down sick the night before. By throwing us out of therapy for cancellations due to illness, theyre basically telling parents they would rather you bring your kids in sick. Extremely Disappointing.
My kids love playing here. They have wonderful play coaches and therapists.
Absolutely best therapy center for our Autistic grandson. He loves every minute and the coaches are caring and engaged in the lives of our little guys.
Such great staff! Especially Ashley!
Great place for kids, highly recommended!
