First time here! I usually drive out to Auburn to get them done by my normal nail tech. However I’m impressed with the Nail Tech “Kim” who did a great job with the style I chose this time. She had a great personality and made me laugh a lot and kept asking me did I like how she was shaping my nails and had no problem with any request I had. I Loved how well she waxed me & my daughters eyebrows also. Pricing for everything was not bad either. So it Looks like I will be coming back and do recommend this place.

First off, super nice and very detailed. I didnt have an appointment and was able to get worked on right away. This was about 30 minutes after they opened. I forgot to take a picture sooner but these will be 3 weeks old on the 4th as I got them done 9/13/21. I had a picture and the colors I chose were off so my tech went looking around until she found the perfect colors. They match the picture colors exactly.On 9/14, the gray middle finger started peeling. I called and went in on the 15th where she proceeded to redo all the gray nails. Super sweet! She redid my matte and the nails honestly looked better than when I first went. However, the next day, as you can see in the picture, my right index chipped but I left it alone.Because of the inconvenience of having to find time to get nails retouched and some of the craftsmanship, I gave a 4 on out of 5.

Best place in Tacoma to get your nails done! I absolutely love Angel and all of her staff! Very friendly and ALWAYS clean!! Ive never once had a bad experience going to them. Ive been a loyal customer for 5 years now. If you have a special request for how you want your nails to look, such as a picture you found online and you show them. I guarantee it will look exactly the same if not better! I wouldnt recommend any other nail salon besides them! Keep up the good work City Nails & Spa!! I will forever go to them, no matter the distance. Its always worth it!

I can’t say better things about this place. It was the first place I got my nails done when I moved to Tacoma and I refuse to go anywhere else. When I lived in Atlanta I was constantly bouncing around from nail salon to nail salon. But here I am LOYAL to City Nails. One - you will always leave with what you want and ask for, and it will be done to perfection. Two - you will also leave with 2-3 new best friends. The women who operate and work at this salon are outstanding, not only at what they do, but also how they interact with customers. No awkward silence, just lots of laughs. It’s SO refreshing, especially because I don’t really like my hands or feet touched, and their playful banter is a welcome distraction. They are HILARIOUS! I’m so sad I can’t take them home with me to Georgia when we move next month. They tell me I just need to fly out for my nail appointments 😂 I also told them I haven’t written a review yet because I don’t want anyone else to know about them - but they deserve everyone one of these 5 stars. I’d give more if I could. City Nails is a true gem and the people behind it make it not just a salon, but an experience. (Also call ahead for appointments - they are busy busy!!!)

My nails came out so well! The woman who did my nails was so meticulous & detail oriented. She paid so much attention to my nails that it took 2 hours for my appointment. Unfortunately I forgot to get the name of the wonderful woman who did my nails but everyone there is so friendly. They also make sure that they are taking the right precautions to make sure everyone is socially distanced. Would recommend!!

I came in for my birthday to get a pedicure and a setI was very nervous because many times in the past Ive gone to places where my nails are way too bulky. I never asked for the young ladys name but she did an amazing job. I loved my nails. I came back a second time this time for a powder dip manicure and again I didnt get the other ladys name. So they have two ladies that did an amazing job on my nails. I think I found my spot!!

I had such a fabulous experience here. Angel was funny, kind, detail oriented, and made me feel like a regular customer even though it was only my first visit. My nails and feet (no easy task) are gorgeous!! The whole salon had a great vibe and everyone working seemed very friendly and professional. Next time I need anything done I will definitely be going here!

Had a really great experience today on a mani pedi. I used to live in downtown Seattle and these ladies did my nails better than most of the larger places in the city. They were also super gentle on my feet unlike other places that scrub them painfully. Definitely going to be recommending this place to friends and family.

Loved this nail salon. Went in with a party of three for our appointment and they got us started right away. Service was amazing and they did each set of nails exactly the way we wanted them.

I went in to get a specific design I had found on pintrest, I showed the lady the picture and asked if that would be possible. Right away she says oh yes! and leads me back to her chair. When I say she did an amazing job just off of that one picture, I mean it! She was so kind and had such attention to detail, I was so pleased with my experience! I will definitely be returning!

My daughters and I have been trying to find a new consistent nail shop for awhile now and tried City Nails yesterday and were so happy with the results! They are professional and their loyal and repeat clients, in the shop with us, proved it wasnt just a fluke. The selection and services offered were varied and affordable. Love this place!

We came in as a group of 6 and for 3 techs they did a wonderful job alternating and getting us in and out! We love our nails! They worked with us and our designs which I find most nail salons dont always come through but they did,theyre beautiful and thank you!

I had to go back twice because as soon as I left 2 of my nails fell off. When I went back to go get them back done when I left they were both lopsided. Will never go back again . Not worth it . ALSO they were rushing

I got full set put on here-Ive been in the area for 8 months and shop after shop messed up my nails, couldnt give me the nails i wanted or just didnt do quality work. This place however delivered-recommended by a friend-so glad i found them!!

I came in for my appointment at 4:00pm to get a pedicure. It was a very nice experience! Staff was very friendly, they were very clean and I loved the way my pedicure came out 🙂

Its my girlfriends nail shop and they do an amazing work on her nails, so I decided what the heck Ill get my feet done. What an awesome experience and one of the best of all time for me.

This was my first time coming here, but I really liked it. Everyone was super friendly and went a little bit above and beyond to make things special. The one thing that I would say is that they didnt do my nails quite how I asked. They still look great so I am happy with the result, but if I were more picky it would be an issue. Make an appointment. They were pretty busy and had to turn away a number of walk in while we were there, but Im not sure if that is the norm or not.

Went in for a fill appt this morning for the first time and this place is great! Clean and super friendly. Cam did an amazing job and Ive been receiving compliments left and right ever since I left the salon :) Affordable as well, even for gel! So worth your time and money!

Came here for the first time today. Didnt know it was appointment based but thankfully a person had just rescheduled.. This place is truly the Best place ever! VERY clean and nice! Angel was so funny and actually had conversation with me. She knew everyone that walked through the door.. I will be making this my new shot! Oh and my nails look absolutely amazing!!

Went here for the first time about a week ago. They were so pleasant! We got a hug when we first got there :) My pedicure was so gentle yet effective, my feet have never been softer! Also, the lady doing my moms manicure took her time to make sure the nail design was perfect. We also had my 4 year old daughter with us and they did really well with her to make her feel special and her nails held up longer than ever before. You should definitely schedule an appointment if you plan on going here. While we were there they had to turn away several people who didnt have appointments because they didnt have the staff to handle them. I really appreciated that they did this because I knew they werent rushing with me to accommodate them like most other places Ive been. This is definitely my new go to spot in the Tacoma area! Very friendly and paid attention to detail with the process. I live in Bremerton, but since I go to school near by, I will always stop here for nails. Highly recommended. Really awesome deal for the quality of work done. I was surprised how cheap it was for gel and a brow wax

This was my first time going to City Nails and Im hooked! They are so friendly, accommodating, and talented. I got an organic papaya pedicure which was amazing. My toes look super cute and Im super happy. Ill definitely be back. They also have plenty of parking available and lots of massage chairs for friends too!

I have been looking for a great nail place an everywhere I have gone has been mediocre. This place was truly amazing and made my daughters first nail experience wonderful she was exstatic when we left they catered to every need plus more. Went above and beyond and my pedicure was out of this world. This will definitely be our new nail place. Communication was also top notch didnt feel ignored at any moment!!! Highly recommend.

These ladies were wonderful! They took their time and were very kind. They offered soda or water and had lots of little jars so you could smell the different scrub scents before deciding. Its clean inside and they have a loyalty card. I will be going back!

Went in last week wanting to do a design and she proceeds to do it with a sharpie! Came out so bad and tacky! Even after I kept telling her I would rather have her use nail polish paint and a fine tool to draw!

I have been to many nail places in Tacoma and have never found a place that could pull off the right look, shape my nail correctly and have so many options - dip, acrylic, ombre, nail design, etc. Angel did my beautiful ombre full set acrylics, and Scott did my pedicure. Both were technically good, and Angeo had the artistic skill to pull off what I wanted (only had a design on my fingers). Im so happy with the results and will definately be returning!

Really disappointed with this place if Im being honest. The woman who did my nails barely spoke to me and it honestly seemed like it was her first time doing acrylics. I showed her a design and it came out AWFUL and she didnt even ask me a single time what I thought about my nails. My hands had a good amount of glue/nail polish on them when she was done and I have lumps in my paint on multiple nails. I read reviews and looked for awhile before choosing this place. Just very disappointing.
