The people here get rude if you can’t understand them, even though it’s not an intention to be rude and can’t be helped. Makes me uncomfortable. extremely overpriced now. Not going back.

Customer service was okay. The girl that did my nails attitude was terrible to customers. She packed hella acrylic on my nails. I was there for 3 hours. If you decide to come, dont go at a busy time. For the job I got, it was over priced. I’m from LA where they do a good job and nails and feet should of been 75 - 85 dollars. I paid way over there and my nails was rushed over packed up with acrylic and the job was no good. They don’t explain pricing before that do that job. She just took my card and put what ever price she wanted. They did my feet really well, excellent actually. But they were doing services I did not ask for and it really makes it feel like it will be included in the price.

Nails were an overlay done in French manicure. Great job and fast work. Will definitely be back!

Went here because I wanted to get my brows waxed. The lady said 5 minutes and gave me a dirty look and said something in her language. I walked out. I felt uncomfortable and went to Nail Pro instead(highly recommend Nail Pro) .

First time I came to 96 nails was the day before Valentines Day and I must say I was quite impressed so I went back HOWEVER, my second time going in which was today, well, not as much to remain impressed by!! Unfortunately I was an additional week out on getting my nails done so they were 3 weeks old from their last fill, so, I had a few nails that were lifting, so, I showed her the nails I was concerned about and we decided a simple fill would be just fine over getting a new set and as we all know when your nail lifts theyre supposed to trim n drill away the old lifted nail areas and fill them in accordingly, right? well, not today, today she left my lifted thumbnail untrimmed undrilled and just filled it in over the top of the lift which actually had quite a significant lifted patch that needed to be trimmed and repaired before any filling was applied, so, nOw I have an ugly yellowish white patch of old lifted nail that legit almost covers my whole nail bed (which I opted for a new nail repair yet she said she could fix it) as well it is not secured to my nail bed and she just filled it in!! So, when I questioned her about it she begins to get antsy and chose to argue with me trying to convince me that it was not left untrimmed and that it was actually my natural nail (bogus) then changed her story saying that she did trim and remove the lifted area then again changed her story saying she couldnt do anything about it because it might hurt or take longer so she left it cus she didnt think I was going to notice THEN one more story shift saying its MY fault for letting her fill in my nails without telling her I had any concerns?? I was livid inside and reminded her that not only did I inform her before she started yet that she clearly chose to forget that she even asked her boss for advice on what and how to do my nails and her boss came to look at my hands and did her lil nail check plus that I showed her the lifted nails I was concerned about and it was then that her Boss chose to tell me that I was wrong and her tech could only do what she felt was noticeable or would be NOT what she knew was the right way uhhhhhmm ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW 🤪 I was baffled by the way they both decided to avoid any means of correction and tried to manipulate the situation into ME being wrong for not saying anything while she was doing my nails EVEN THOUGH I DID BEFORE SHE STARTED AND ALSO REMINDED HER IN THE PROCESS as she ignored me to spark a convo ABOUT MY CONCERNS n REQUEST laughing at me and saying white people dont know nails and how she hadnt had her morning coffee yet?? I WAS APPALLED AT THE BEHAVIOR AND RUDENESS and trying to speak with the Owner was pointless as that is who was laughing with the tech with the white people comment!! Kinda sad cus she really did do a great job on my shape and reinforcement of the tips (I have a very sharp stiletto shape) aside from the thumbnail DIBOCLE yet with all things considered I wont be going back due to the BEHAVIOR and the inability to take accountability...I only went in for a fill and I never get color not even a clear top coat. I was only charged $25 which is a great price for a basic natural looking fill however I will have to paint my nails now with all the discoloration from her inability to do them correctly and not understanding that in natural light EVERYTHING is noticeable!!So unfortunate yet Im thankful for another learning experience 😊I gave 4 Stars because its only one Experience and Im not going to act like its every Experience cus I still appreciate my other 9 fingers 😂

Ive been coming here for a few months now and I have to say this is my FAVORITE nail shop by far! Tami always shapes my nails perfectly and makes them right length. I havent found anyone else who has been able to make shorter coffin nails look so beautiful!! I enjoy the environment, everyone is always joking around and its a friendly atmosphere. Compared to most nail shops they offer phenomenal Value! They also have all the latest trends! They are very efficient too! Im typically in and out in an hour or less!! I Love my nail shop & will continue to come back! Thanks 96th Nails!!

There not as talkative but, they do get the job done right..

This place is awesome! Very thorough and well done pedis. (May have a line, even with like 8 chairs.) Im a large man @ 66 and 380 lbs and their electric adjustable massage chairs fit and feel great, excluding a head rest of course. =) They got a giggle out of my size 19 foot but all has turned out great. Always well done!

I have been going here since 2013 n Kim is amazing. I lived in Lynnwood and traveled all the way to Tacoma just to get my nails done. I now live in yelm n still travel to her. Her n her staff are friendly and very concerned about making their customers happy. Shes got a great sense of humor. I can honestly say I have been getting my nails done for a little over 15 years and Ive never built a friendship with my nail tech till I came to 96th nails. I LOVE LOVE LOVE 96th nails. If she was to ever shut down Id pay her to come to my house to do my nails 😂😂 💖💖

Pricing is not transparent. Manicure was horrible. Came in with healthy cuticles and NO hangnails. The day after, all of my fingers had hangnails and were peeling. The nail polish was all over my fingers and then chipped after a day.

I had gone to this place a couple times but yesterday changed my mind for me. I went there with my two young daughters and when we walked in there were two women there already. One lady was getting her nails done and the tech started getting frustrated with the women and being very disrespectful. She was loud with the customer and I decided not to stay because if she was to talk to my girls like that there would be trouble. I had gone there before and they were techs that were rude and I figured it was bc they were busy and tired but this was early morning and there weren’t but a couple ppl in there. I do not recommend this place their customer service is bad.

Me and my 11 year old step daughter walked in I needed a fill and she got gel paint they were busy so we waited no problem I was referred by a co worker saying they had good prices lady was nice at first but seemed to have an attitude towards the end especially towards my step daughter pulling her by her finger to adjust her and place her hand in the uv light final product nails are lumpy and un even both of us had excess paint on our skin around our nails so much so that once we came home hers got stuck in her hair and lifted paid 60 total don’t think we’ll go back I guess you get what you pay for

It was super busy when my friend and I got to the salon, but Kim and her husband still made time to do our nails. Kim is very detailed oriented and cares about her work. I will definitely be a returning customer!!!

They did a wonderful job with everything from pedicures to manicures and eyebrows. Crowded too which shows the customers are satisfied and are regulars. Ill be back

I was there 3 days ago.. gel on pedicure and manicure $66...but gel on my finger nails is off 2 fingers.. feels so bad

It took 20 minutes to get a repair. She stopped to paint 2 other peoples nails that someone else was already doing. Control freak. She filed my nails like a scale, very crooked. The repair was huge and way longer. I ended up doing it shorter and trying to fix her scale there. I waited on polish and waited. I decided to leave. She charged $10 because thats her policy but never even attempted to polish my nails. She is a rude and miserable woman probably because.....Ill leave that alone. One nail repair, no polish, crooked nails $10. ThanksFriendly Nails on Hosmer is the place to go, the male nail tech is excellent.

Took 2 hours for a fill, rude staff-arguing with each other! The tension was high, not friendly, or professional, sloppy and half-fast for sure.

Nails turned out great. Kimmy did a fabulous job she seemed like the only one doing all the work though.

Not the best experience. Took them an 1 hr and 40 minutes to do a fill. There were 3 nail techs in the shop and all 3 touched my nails for some reason. Anytime I asked a question they just answered with a yes instead of actually really answering my question. I am now starting to even question if everyone in there has the nail license bc it seemed only one person knew how to do a fill correctly and it wasnt the one who touched my fingers. Overall I wish I would have just skipped this nail shop and trusted some of the previous reviews that warned me. Too expensive, Rude and my nails are not even worth looking at a week later.

It’s with great sadness that I went from a five star to a one. I was going here for a while and over the years I was getting sick... testes done bit we couldn’t figure out why until one day a doctor saw my long nails and asked how long I’ve been getting them done... well long story short this nail place has been using illegal monomer which caused my hands to dry, chip, crack, and not to mention other health issues. I no longer get go there no where any fake tips. I reported this company to Washington board of cosmetology and how I found out they were using illegal monomer was I soaked my nails and sure enough It was the cheap illegal monomer. It was time for me to go anyway since the owner lately has been getting rude and sloppy with her work not to mention the bath room and hand sink area to clean your nails doesn’t have a thing to soak to kill of bacteria it’s just laying there I can go on and on I rather go to a spa and pay more money cause I know the real products will be used and since I’ve stopped going there my health has improved and I no longer have issues with dry cracked and rough looking hands. If your nails itch or burn and starts peeling ladies run they using that cheap products no matter how much lotion you put on your skin will crack google search illegal monomer if you see something take pictures and contact the board

Ive been getting my nails done routinely every two weeks for a few years now. I have this shop a chance because I had heard a few good things about it and the nails I saw were impressive. My experience was not. Ive gone to get fills and my nails redone (with gel shellac) just like this and paid $25. They wanted $50 for this horrible job. Not only do NONE of my nails match, they are all different shapes and sizes, crooked, and bumpy. They also caused me to get a hang nail. They sanded down my nails to do the fill (as usual) and burned my nail beds horrible not to mention they burned my cuticles and ripped them as well. The ones they didnt do that too they painted over. They messed my gel too. I asked them to redo it and she ignored my request. This is their version of a gel ombre. Which is glitter gel coated over the top half.. I have paid $50 for a legit all powder ombre. I also brought my daughter with me. They were really ruff with her and she even told them she was scared and they laughed!! This place is not professional nor clean remotely. Their bathroom is filthy. I didnt even want wash my hands in it. They have a dirty mattress in their back office too i could only imagine what for? I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody! Go down the street more passed 84th and hosmer to nail pros!

Done great job on my feet

It seems they are getting very sloppy with their work. I paid $65 for a gel full set and a pedi and my pedi lasted longer than my gel nails! I will only come back for my eyebrows.

Wait time was ridiculous!!! Spent most of the time waiting than actually getting my nails done. An when they actually were working on my nails, it was rushed and half assed. I understand that there was only 2 workers at the time I went in, but there was only 3 people, including myself, getting mani and pedi, and when I walked in they were literally almost done with their pedicure. After 1 hour of waiting they finally started working on me, and then 2 more customers came in and tjey stopped working on me to start on the new customers. This pissed me off. I ended up being there for 3 hours before finally getting done. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!
