My nail tech did an amazing job!!! I always have pesky ingrown toenails and problematic cuticles, and she cleaned them up, pain-free! She truly was a pro!! Oh and also the sparkly pink color I chose looks great, too, of course!!

Started coming here with my mom and BFF… best nail salon I’ve found in the area! Cathy is AWESOME, she’s super sweet, listens to what you want, has a gentle hand, great attention to detail and the acrylic is never too thick or bulky like at some places… she makes them look and feel very elegant:) and the services are super affordable. Everyone else there is super nice too:) definitely found my new spot! Thanks Cathy and team!

The first time I visited there was about two years ago! I thought they were awesome! But I was convinced to try a different place. After nearly two years later and much dissatisfaction with other salons, I convinced my daughter to try Cathy’s again! I went first and when my daughter saw the my daughter saw their work she and a friend decided to try them! They, like me, are going to be regular customers! I love their work!

Charged me 130 for eyebrows full set amd a pedicure with gel. Full set medium-sized gel polish with no apex and they are carved like eagles. And marks on them like she didnt file well enough. Im super disappointed because if I gotta pay $130 it better be close to perfect.

Linda did a great job. I had my nails done somewhere else previously and they were awful. Bubbles, uneven, way too thick. Linda fixed my nails and did a great job and shes super nice. Thank you! Id love to post a pic, but for some reason its not letting me. Definitely my new nail place!

I love these ladies they are like family. They always take their time almost everytime I go I fall asleep .Very relaxing atmosphere and Kathy is always happy and smiling I enjoy her spirit fun to be around.I would recommend Kathys to everyone they are number one on my list.

This is the only place I goHave tried other salons, but I like Cathys personal/professional demeanor, and they will always get you in as a walk in. Sometimes you might have to wait a little while, but thats because they have a good loyal clientele that keeps coming back

I have been here 2 times... the second time was me giving them another chance. The experience is terrible I would give it negative stars if I could. Both times I was seated in a salon chair...never told it would be an hour wait to get a fill. It was a waste of my time both times!!!! Do NOT go there !!!!

People are nice but service is not too good. Painted my nails worse then what my 8 year old would. And tried to fix it and tore my skin doing it they are worse then before. And not to mention they do charge way too much now. Don’t think i will go back

ZERO STARTS! Never going back here again! It seriously looks like my niece painted my nails! It all over my cuticles, its uneven! The lady was in a hurry! She didnt care for what I requested! Im honestly going to buy my own nail polish ands te do them my self! Its imbarrasing! Not recommended at all! Please dont waste your money! I wish I can insert a picture so you guys can see my nails!

The worst job that I have done in my entire life

Our regular manicurist mixed up our appointment for the third consecutive time, so my sister and I needed help right away. I have a mani/pedi and brow wax and my sister has a pedi and brow regularly every six weeks. Needless to say, we were ready for our appointment. My sister Googled nail salons near 72nd Street, and after reading the reviews of the listed locations, we chose Cathys Nails after we got two concurrent appointments within 20 minutes of our call. Since our prior manicurist was a solo practitioner, we had to have consecutive appointments, which was time consuming.Off we went, not knowing what to expect. We were delighted! We were greeted pleasantly upon our arrival, the services we needed were clarified, and we both had pedicures in progress within five minutes of our arrival. There are several cosmetologists/manicurists on staff, so we each had our own person working with us. The skill levels of the manicurists excellent. They were fast, but gentle and proficient. The water for the pedicure was pleasantly warm, but we were asked several times if the water temperature felt okay. The foot and leg massage was heavenly. Loved it. We both had polish on our toes and were off to the next step in a very short, but adequate timeThe manicure was fast, efficient, and very thorough. I was asked how I like my nails shaped, what color polish I wanted, and she constantly rechecked her work, making sure my nails were smooth and even. The brow wax seemed like it was finished before it started. Aside from the normal pulling of the wax off my skin, it was a very pleasant and effective experience.I rated Cathys Nails with five stars for (1) willingly accommodating us into their already busy schedule without any delay; (2) having obviously experienced manicurists and waxers who care about their customers and the work they do. I was very pleased with their service and plan to set an appointment six weeks from now. Also of note, my sister and I were accustomed to paying $75 and $55 respectively with our prior manicurist. Not only did Cathys Nails staff do a superlative job, the fee was $43 for me and $25 for my sister. Great service and a bargain price. What more can we ask?

I spent $30 on a pedicure and my feet hurt so bad from them scraping off too much skin on my heal. Now they are cracked and bleeding. Im never going back 😞 and Im on my feet all day with my newborn baby and 2yr old idk how Im going to do this.

I recently got my eyebrows waxed, the wax was extremely hot and burned both my eyelids, my skin was raw and hurt to touch, I now have scabs and I am hoping it doesn’t not leave a scar.

I got my nails done and I was working and I hit my nail and my real nail and fake nail are both about to come off and I worked plenty of times with fake nails on and hit my nail so many times but it never came off and the one time I go to this place that happens . Dont go here
