Well, I was looking pretty shaggy and my normal routine was just to show up at a salon and get my hair cut. I called half a dozen places and was fortunate enough to get in and it was a treat! I was welcomed when I came through the door, got my temperature checked and was asked to wash my hands in the restroom, important precaution for the staff and myself these days.I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation while getting my hair cut. I have not had my hair shampooed in a chair In a very long time and that along with yhe scalp and temple massage was a little slice of heaven…A genuine thanks for getting me in last minute and for the experience!

I went to foxfire because of all the amazing ratings below. I ended up leaving the salon with an extremely uneven haircut. I somehow didn’t notice how uneven it was until almost a month later. (I don’t style my hair everyday as I am a mom to a newborn.) I just styled my hair for the first time today and I am really embarrassed. I rarely go out and get a haircut and the fact I spent $70 on an uneven haircut is so disappointing...

This is my first time in years going to a professional salon. I was really nervous because I was going to get bangs and Ive never had a good experience. I ended up booking an appointment online with Hannah which was easy and convenient. She made me look so beautiful and was so kind and funny. 100% going again.

Aubrey is such an amazing artist and she does the a line bob with precision and it’s perfect every time!! If you’re looking for someone that can do this cut, she’s your girl! I interviewed 3 people before finding her because I wanted it cut a certain way and she didn’t disappoint!

I had the most amazing experience at FoxFire today. I was scheduled for a new client visit with Robyn. She listened to and advised on what I wanted (balayage/fashion color) and gave me better than I imagined for myself! Great conversation, so sweet and attentive, she picked up on casual mentions of my irritations with my hair and fixed them all!I was stoked walking out, but as I got home I was even happier with my hair. Had my first cut and color here, and it was fantastic. I’m new to the area and found them online, which can be scary! However, it was even better than it looked online. Booking an appointment was simple, and Hannah did an outstanding job and I will definitely book with her going forward. The salon environment is upscale and comfortable. The location can’t be beat.

I have been going to Brittney for the last two and a half years for my hair. I just went and saw her today and realized I haven’t written a review on her yet - she is amazing. My sister also goes to her but she isn’t as good at writing reviews so I am doing this for the two of us. We both love coming to see Brittney and getting our hair done here.

A great atmosphere, and a nice place to get hair done. The website is very forthcoming with pricing information, which is nice if you have to plan accordingly in advance. I appreciate that there are a variety of services they offer. I will definitely come back for hair and probably more soon.

So the salon in general is good they use Aveda which I love. The location on Proctor Street Tacoma is very nice location. Tell the reason I go here is because my hair stylist Brittney Picard works here highly recommend her shes amazing. They are a little expensive so if Britney was not working here I would probably go somewhere else. But its a very high-end nice salon.

Aubrey does a great job with my cut and color! I love the ssignature scalp massage that comes with the service, and the atmosphere is stylish and relaxing. The Aveda products are a great part of the experience, too. I love the scents!

Bad costumers service, two different hairstylist cancelled my appointment, receptionist girl called me 2times to re-schedule my appointment for different time at different salon location. I have busy schedule.Looks like girls who work there don’t care about there costumers. So disappointed ☹️

CLEAN and SANITARY I would recommend this Salon and Spa to anyone. The staff there are very nice and helpful, I get a MANicure a pedicure once every few months. A bit pricey but I am a True Believer that you get what you pay for.

My cut and color is always on point. Brittney is the best!! The front desk staff is very nice and they always offer you a beverage when you first arrive. Ive never had to wait beyond my appointment time and parking is never a problem. They keep up with trends and are very forward thinking. This is an Aveda salon and they have a plethora of products to choose from. The stylists never push the products on you, but rather inform you of the different items that might work great and enhance your style and type of hair.

I always choose Aveda salons because I know they have great quality products and well trained staff. Kristan was no exception. She gave me great skin care advice and got me set up with a protocol that has really helped!

They are so nice. Annalise is impeccably awesome. She always makes you feel comfortable and she nails what ever your asking for. Ive never left disappointed. Very talented.

Ive gone several times to get my hair done and it seems to be a hit-or-miss situation. They are friendly and nice! But for their prices, I would expect a better quality. That said, Ill probably still go back again in a year or two :).

I went in today for a major cut and had over 10 inches taken off. I described what I wanted over the phone and made an appt with Leo. It was the right choice. From start to finish there was clear communication and I left feeling amazing and in love with my cut. The whole staff was friendly and informative. I will be coming back.

Booked an appointment with Ivana for a haircut. She did an amazing job. She gave me everything I wanted plus my hair smells and feels great. :)

I 100% wont go back. The second I walked in, I didnt get a good impression. I was the first client of the morning and heard a guy who worked the front desk and another girl in the back talking very badly about co-workers. I tried to brush it off and enjoy getting pampered, but every time the guy or gal would walk by, I just felt uneasy and awful for whoever they were talking about. Anyways, fast forward to the end of my service....my grays were not covered at all and she gave me a quick blow dry. ZERO styling and walked out of the salon with frizzy unfinished hair. NEVER AGAIN. OH...I forgot to mention that they quoted me $70 for an all over color, but left the salon spending $100. Ill take my business back to Londons and 8th Day Spa where the price is right, I get my wine and walk out feeling like a million bucks. Only reason I tried this place out is because I needed something done quick for a vacation. Lesson learned.

I called to schedule appt to have my hair color retouch. The lady on the phone informed me that the hair stylist is new, asking me if Im ok with that. I replied that s its ok because you all wouldnt hire her if she wasnt good enough. Came to my appt today, the new stylist stated she couldnt help me for the service I requested since shes an apprentice. She then called her mentor. He mentor came over and stayed the same thing. I asked then why did the girl schedules me with the new girl if she cant provide these services? The mentor told me that the file on the phone doesnt work there all the time and doesnt know.My question is, what kind of ppl do they have working there?! No one knows anything and how is that image good for the salon?! As far the new girl, she will never get the experience she needs, b/c no one seems to know whats go in on!?! If the mentor couldnt help her, how will she ever gain experience?!Today is only time I have off from work. The mentor girl asked me to come back later in the day, which is 4pm, I have my day already scheduled. Whats the purpose of appt if then I have to come back another time? I then have to move all my appts to accommodate the Aveda Salon ppl?!Horrible service! Unprofessional ppl!!If I can rate this less than 1 star, I would!! Its -5 stars..Lowest of the lowest

I don’t want to give a 1 star because it isn’t that serious but just wanted to get my point across.I made an appointment for a haircut and forgot (I got no reminder, but maybe they don’t do reminders) I recieved a call 30 minutes into the appointment time. I let them know I had forgotten and how apologetic I was, but I was on my way to work. I expected them to maybe ask for a cancellation fee which being in the beauty industry I would understand because I get irritated when my clients no show me. I would have been happy to pay it. Instead I was spoken to like a child, she goes on to say “we normally ask for 24 hours notice for cancellation” (okay I understand again I’m an Esthetician) she continued Especially on thanksgiving weekend when lots of people are trying to get in and she has that blocked off her schedule for future” she said this with kind of an attitude and still I was not asked to pay a cancellation fee or a portion of the service. I apologized again and the call ended. For future there are other aveda salons in the area.

Loved my experience with hair stylist, Jessica. I had just had a tough dental surgery, feeling very tense so I decided to try for a walk in appointment afterwards to try and relax. Luckily, there was an appointment available when they first opened. I had very long hair and was looking for a change. I now have a blunt medium length hairstyle that I LOVE! I love going to Aveda salons because they know the importance of a head and neck massage to complete the haircut. Plus Aveda products are wonderful - I have completely switch to an Aveda conditioner for years now and my hair is loving me. Thank you so much, Jessica and Fox Fire Salon!

Both Foxfire Salon are wonderful!!! They use only Aveda product so no reaction to caustic chemicals.

I would not recommend this place for updos, especially for events that count... Like my sisters wedding. Left the place with a huge bill and the worst hair we have ever had. One of the hairstylists was just terrible! Completely broke my hair while trying to add volume. My mother had picked out a beatiful bun, which the stylist turned into a messy ponytail. The few curls we did have were gone by the time we drove home. Would have saved so much time (and my hair) by just styling it myself!

I enjoyed Cossandra, senior level stylist. Very comfortable experience. She is very experienced in hair colour. I am sooooo happy with the reverse foil she did on my damaged hair. She did a precision hair trim as well. I opted for the botanical treatment. Good scalp massage. I have to say she is the best colorist I have had in my life. I booked my next appt. Really love my result. Blondes out there should make an appt. She knows what she is doing! So happy!!
