Great fitness center. Quality equipment. Cool staffing that makes the environment upbeat and fun. A well rounded place and all and all, couldnt ask for better.
Super day, had been absent for over a year. Way out of shape and heavier, I know what it will take to accomplish my goal. Dedication, commitment to the schedule. Really happy to reunite with this facility.

Limited equipment.NO wifiDeceitful staff3 different staff members called me, all stepping on each others toes to make a sale, all 3 with contradicting information in attempts to manipulate me into signing up, even though I was on my 1st day of the 3 day free trial. 2 of them lied about the urgency on initiating the contract threatening to ballooning prices if another day went by.All 3 offered different pricing.
Managers are professional and helpful. Clean equipment prevents COVID-19 transmission. The gym is spacious and all the machines are accessible. The pool is well-maintained. One of my favorite fitness facilities in South Florida.

Since this gym is no longer open 24 HOURS it would be nice if membership prices were lowered. The reason many of us paid so much for the membership was due to the gym being open 24/7.
It’s 24hr fitness, there are no restrictions in FL and the gym is closed at 11pm? Why? COVID is activated after 11?
Great gym, the staff is very helpful and concerned with your health. I’m taking advantage of the SilverSneakers benefit, you will need to bring your physical member card with you. They have ton of machines, racquetball, and basketball courts, a pool and lockers that are free to use, bring your own lock.
Its nice to be at a gym where about 95% of the members are wearing masks. I also attend another gym in Coral Springs (i wont mention the name) and only about 50% of the members are wearing masks and its not enforced. I recommend 24 hour fitness sunrise. Only giving 4 stars because it still closes at 9pm, they need to extend the hours.
Classes are excellent! Masks required. Lots of hand sanitizer available. Paper towels and cleaning products available to wipe down machines and weights
I was previously a member of another gym and although the staff was great, the gym itself was below subpar this gym I was welcomed at the door the gym was spotless and everyone was kind. Even the womens restroom was clean! I am happy here and have no intention on leaving.

The original 24 fitness we were going to in Plantation canceled the kids club. We had bought 4 memberships from Costco for our family of 4. We were forced to change to the super club and wouldn’t have minded it. Upon going there during the holiday season, we were told it ( by one of the managers) it would have been 10$ extra. That was wrong. When came back to actually sign up, after the holiday season, apparently it was 40$ extra per person for my whole family except for the person the kids club was attached to. That manager gave us the 10$ figure without looking at my contract which said Costco. Apparently they wouldn’t honor Memberships bought at Costco. So I called Costco and of course, in true Costco fashion, they returned ALL my money! IN FULL!!! That’s why Costco will always have my business and the four of us will never step foot in a 24 hour fitness!! Customer service goes a long way. If these memberships would have been honored, we would have stayed with 24. But they lost not one but 4 members! That’s the worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time.And their sauna is disgusting!!!!! Gym is nice but sauna is a sardine can growing mold.
Good workout area, could use some improvements in the bathrooms, have recycle bins that other new 24 Hours gyms have, and maybe add a actual combat class for self defense.Other then that, the machines work for the most part, few of them get faulty from time to time but it gets worked on when alerted (at least from my experience), classes like body pump have helped my body get improved muscular wise and would love to keep on attending whenever I get the chance.Needs some improvements and really interesting and useful additions here and there.

Facilities with a great potential to be a great gym. However, the air conditioner is not working most of the time in the group classes room. Cleanliness is okay; could be much better. Also, I was expecting, like in other gyms, that they could help you with a basic exercise routine and provide you with a basic schedule of exercises. I paid few personal training classes expecting that at the end they will give the copy of the routine. That didn’t happen. The personal trainers are good and qualified but it’s expensive to pay personal training in addition to the membership. The staff is nice, except for a yoga instructor, Jennifer. She is mean and does not know how to treat customers. I like yoga, but would never take a class with her, not good karma. However, Pamela is a good yoga instructor, if you like yoga.
They are following all the safety protocols by taking the temperature of all guests. Theyre also requiring everyone to wear masks while inside the gym and sanitizing the equipment before and after use.

Really don’t understand why it is so expensive when the machines are old and no one really wants to use that nasty swimming pool. Also don’t understand why there is only security during some hours of the evening yet the later it gets at night is when there is no security outside. Also they close at midnight now so why are we paying for 24 hour fitness that we signed up for when it’s not even open 24 hours... are you deducting my monthly fee due to cutting hours? Nope didn’t think so, cancelling

The poor cell signal really interferes with my frequency and intensity. The building blocks the signal even in the bathrooms. Seriously considering cancelling due to this.Edited to add that the water fountains are less than desirable as its more warm to hot. Ironic they sell cold water.
Worst gym ever!! I called customer service and they gave me a promo for 28.99 and when I go to my home gym which is this one, they said that I no longer have access to this gym because their rates for this gym are 39.99 per month when I was paying for over a year 34.99 and then they gave me a retention offer for $29, I ended up cancelling my membership and they didnt care
Nice large gym and clean. My biggest and really only issue is that the weights are always all over the place and hard to find. This is a very is fix. The gym that i was a member of until i move back here from California a week ago, they employed someone for the sole purpose of placing weights back into their proper locations. This also limits the liability of injury from tripping over weights. I do not believe it is too much to ask for the amount i pay for a membership, locating weights to keep my workout in a steady flow would be greatly appreciated

I love the gym, been a member since 2010. Its my happy place. All my current friends are gym members, wonderful classes, great teachers, but terrible security. Ive been assaulted three times and theres no way of verifying these incidents because lol, In this age of technology its hard to believe only a few areas are picked up by security cameras. This gives a wide opening to allow theft, hit and run accidents, and assaults. While these can be very much avoidable by just having cameras in strategically placed areas. PLEASE DO SOMETHING for member safety and security.Thank you.

Great gym with basketball, pool, sauna & steam room. Rates are $39/month but worth it with their towel service. Not packed like LA Fitness either ! Good classes as well.
My wife and I started going a month ago. The manager convinced us to use a trainer and set us up with a free initial session when we signed up. We have been working out with John who we highly recommend, and we already see results. Staff is friendly and greets you by name as you check in. The machines are constantly being wiped down by the cleaning staff and have been maintained while we are there. There is no waiting and if you report a problem with a machine it is fixed by the next day.
Need the put in new lockers.. None of them work. During rush hour never have towels. But its one of the best commercial gyms Ive been to in the area.
I have been a member for many years, but todays experience was beyond terrible. Today the gym is hosting a special event with group x classes and the payment is that a PAYING MEMBER can only attend if they bring a NON MEMBER GUEST. My mother, who is older and doesnt speak fluent English, was turned away from the group exercise class because she didnt have a guest. She was planning on bringing one, but they cancelled due to the terrible storm outside at the moment (this is south Florida after all).It took me having to call and speak to a rude staff member who basically told me the same thing...that she couldnt participate in the class unless she brought someone in. I said thats not fair to deny a paying customer only because she didnt bring a new potential client. I even offered to pay for the class so my mother could go, and was still denied.I was hastily transferred to a manager named Aaron, who then switched up and said they preferred but it wasnt mandatory because I said its not right to force a customer to bring new people just so they could try to make more money through a new client. He then asked me to give a name and phone number of someone who would be interested in the gym, and I obliged only because I know my mother really enjoys these classes.I understand wanting to bring new people as it helps spread the word and bring in new clients, but not at the expense of someone who is already paying to go. To deny a paying customer only because they cant bring a new potential is just flat out wrong.We have referred many clients throughout the years and our entire household as well as my fathers household are members. I brought all these people without any special event and never received any incentive for it; we sent them here because we truly loved it at one point.Remember its just as important to keep the members you already have as it is to bring new ones. I have to say that this experience will more than likely end up with my entire family and I going elsewhere since Im the one who pays for their memberships. Bad form, 24 hr fit. Shame on you
Its nice, I dig what it offers, but the price is excessive... they treat it like your renting an apartment lol. First, last, and month? Youfit and planet fitness is more straightforward. You pay for your month, maybe a small sign up fee, but nothing too crazy.. the only reason i wanted to come here was for the sauna, but found a youfit that has that and better machines.
I canceled my membership because I moved and the instructor I have in the Miramar location was not in any other location. 5 months later I found out she was having classes at this location. Since I have never been here I signed up for their 3-day pass.When I went to redeem the manager took me to the back and said (very condescendingly): well....you have 3 previous membership. I told him yes (never denied it). When I move, I normally cancel the contract and renew at another location. Long story short, He refused my use of the pass and told me if I want to try the class I would have to sign up a new contract.I would have renewed but he was so quick to deny me. Blue, let me know if you open a dance studio. I have dealt with 24hr fitness rude staff too many times.
Very Disappointed. The quality of the machines is terrible and the selection is even worse. The ellipticals are not smooth and super irritating to use. No fans or screens on any of the dated cardio machines. The “spinning “ class is a joke.. the bikes are falling apart and the instructor had as much energy as a slug. We’ve been members for less than two weeks and are told we cannot cancel or memberships. Incredibly frustrating to pay so much for a gym we can’t get a proper workout at.
Joined a group training session and I was the only one to show up. My first time was like a private trainer. I really need his help and he was wonderful and listened to me and the session was very productive.
Me and my fiancé are currently members of this location and the last two months including this month we were double billed...we call to speak to a manager and the manager is always out we just called today and the manager will be out until Monday. Im a general manager for a multi million dollar company and Im always able to help with my customers even on my days off.... I need someone to contact me asap about this situation and I will tell everyone not to come here or dont put anything on auto pay because they rob you every month....I look at my account now because of these guys 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
This is a Super Center $$$, not a normal 24 hour, thus you need to pay premium price for membership here.This place is convenient as they are open 24 hours... though they arent convenient with equipment. Some equipment looks old and rusted. I was working out chest and in the middle of my rep, the manager told me to move as they wanted to mop the area. That definitely ruined my workout high. And they only have 1 squat rack (not including smith machine)?! Bro... Leg days get crowded if multiple people want to do legs.

Just joined this gym. They have really good quality equipment that are kept in good condition. Plenty of machine and work out areas. Here they offer a lot more variety in machines and training areas than your average LA Fitness.

I initially signed up and enjoyed going to a 24 hr 1 mile from my house in Coral Springs. Unfortunately they closed this location (without notifying me BEFORE I signed up) and later transferred my membership to this one. While I understand a 24 hour fitness club is sort of a you get what you pay for to have access at any time mentality, Ive been rather disappointed with their upkeep all around.Machines constantly need repaired, vending machines are never fully stocked, weights/plates are guaranteed to be out of place (literally scattered on the floor throughout the facility,) theres no bumper plates, only 2 power racks in the entire facility, the cell reception is god awful (and I actually dont think they have a wifi network here), and overall maintenance just seems pretty minimal.Again I use the facility for an hour at 4AM every morning so I cant complain as it isnt crowded...but honestly the only reason I use 24 hour is because no other gyms support 24 hour access and dont open earlier than 6.I REALLY hope they closed the Coral Springs location just to renovate...almost seems like a waste in gas to drive all the way to Oakland for a shoddy upkeep like this. If Im gonna use a run-down, minimally maintained facility, Id rather use one closer to my house.
This gym is great! It offers a variety of equipment to give anyone an intense workout. The gym also provides a basketball court, pool, spa hot tub, sauna, steam room, and etc.
I have been a member of the 24 Hour Fitness in Sunrise now for several months. Recently took another job driving a truck and Im on the road for 4 to 6 weeks at a time. Called customer service while on the road to cancel my account I was told it would be no problem whatsoever. Later that month had a charge appear on my bank account from 24 Hour Fitness. Call customer service again and told them that I was told I could cancel with no cancellation fee due to my work taking me out of town. Was told I would have to go in at that point and talk to a manager. Went in last Saturday to talk to a manager while in town was told the manager had just stepped out so to come back on Sunday. Came back today Sunday August 19th and was told there was no manager working today. Come back tomorrow I leave for West Virginia and wont be back in town for another 4 to 6 weeks. Stay away from these people all they do is steal your money if you try to cancel

Could use wifi for those of us who like to stream music on our phones while working out. Figure for the price youre paying....otherwise overall the place is nice people mjnd their business. Equipment is clean and in good shape. Pool area neat and clean. Locker rooms tidy. Switched from LA Fitness to here strictly for the hours. Paid a bit more but for the hours its worth it.
Too expensive and management is crazy. Can get all the same equipment elsewhere for much cheaper
Signed up back in April and paid first and last month. 2 weeks later I get charged the montly fee again totaling to about $130 for just the first month. 3 months later Im trying to cancel my membership because I am not happy there anymore and it is too far from my house. As I try to cancel I am informed that I am under contract even though I specifically asked CODY who signed me up initially if I could cancel at any time without any contract or obligation and he looked me in the eye and told me yes I could cancel at any time I wanted, this was a flat out lie and he put me under a one year contract without my knowledge and without telling me until I had to find out on my own. To say the least Cody has caused me a great deal of stress and completely lied and misinformed me of my membership agreement. I strongly advise anyone to have some other employee sign them up or simply avoid the hassle and stress just do yourself a favor by going to another gym that is not going to stress you out and be a burden.
Huge gym in comparison to LA. Lots of options even a dead lifting area, pool, huge basketball court, classes although I don’t do them.Staff is pretty nice and talkative when you come in. Only thing I would ask is that they fix the leaks and redo the sauna/steam room. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars.
Huge gym, has everything you can imagine from swimming to racquet ball to yoga. Theres everything that comes with a gym, plus a sauna and steam room. They give you free towels. I love coming here because it feels like a recreational center and not just a gym. Its a very high class gym and I feel at home in this gym.
Love this place. Has everything I need and more. Friendly staff and clean for the most part. I only wish they had Wi-Fi and colder fountain water that was also easier to access for adults. It seems to have been placed with children and wheelchair only!
My boyfriend was in there with company and tried to use a 3-day pass. He was unable to use the amenities with the guest pass because his name was already in the system, which is fine. Thats a rule and it should be adhered to. The issue arose when the manager attempted to coerce him into buying a membership. He kept trying to lower the monthly rate, and bae continually refused because he had a different gym membership and only wanted to use the amenities with his friends. Then the manager asked him to name a price, and when a number was named, the manager laughed in his face along with his employees in the vicinity. The manager said I dont have time for this, I have paying customers to attend to. My bf then put his ID back in his wallet, and the manager said it doesnt look like you cant afford it with all them credit cards in your wallet. Extremely inappropriate commentary from a staff whose purpose is to create a welcoming and friendly environment for other potential paying customers. Keep this unprofessional, immature, and unsportsmanlike behavior in mind when considering this establishment.
Came in to sign up for a membership. Filled out a registration form. Then I waited and waited and waited. Finally got up to leave and let the lady at the front desk know that I’d changed my mind and she said the guy for sign ups was coming over. Well he’d just been standing not more than 10 feet from me just randomly chatting with a guest he happened across (after having been MIA for 20 minutes). Hey if ya’ll have higher priorities than signing up a new member that’s fine by me. I’ll just go somewhere else.
This is a nice gym however the master trainer is rude and disrespectful to clients and makes executive decisions on cancelling clients memberships and management just let him. 24 hour fitness in plantation is only 5 miles away with a lovely staff as well as LA fitness and it has the same cost. No one pays to go to a gym with rude and disrespectful coaches who walk around like they own the gym.

I was a the Sunrise club on Mar. 11/16 and the Personal Training staff were doing a team training/workshop together in the open gym and the music was beyond LOUD! It was way beyond the safe decibel level for safe hearing and the front desk staff said there wasnt anything they could do because the manager cranked up the music volume to the max! First of all, beyond the fact that this could potentially cause long term hearing impairment, it was blatantly inconsiderate and showed no respect for others/clients in the gym, not to mention those who already suffer from hearing impairment. Shame on you. This was completely unacceptable and irresponsible on behalf of the club management. Next time, I will not hesitate to call the state workplace health & safety authorities.
Went to get a guess pass planned on joking because my brother goes to this gym/use to go. They said I live to far the guess pass and that I was not a resident. Last time I checked I have a Florida id and live less then 10 miles away from this gym. Tried explaining to these idiots the other gym dont have anything I want and then I was rudely told we wouldnt let you use the. Basketball court or pool or anyways lol. Got to La fitness people

By far one of the most ample room gyms to workout from machine are always in working order the gym always clean sunrise police department always have one of there deputies standing by for extra security may I add not needed always good to know that youre vehicles in a secure environment

Given that the gymnasiums will be closed by order of the government, they could say if they are not going to charge the time they are closed, they must think that many people are not working to pay for everything.
Another horribly run fitness facility. The company invests nothing in the place and it shows. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING and half the time you cant even get hot water in the shower. The clientele seem incapable of racking weights or putting their used towels in the bins. The staff is USELESS.
I have no idea who hired these manageres. They are so cheep! Couldve had a great deal with them and be their long term loyal customer,and bring more people, cause gym is lovely. If you want to bring a guest and sign them up read the whole contract and dont listen to the manager or whoever will sign you up. They lied to my face when I asked 10 times if I pay just for 1 month for my guest. So it was my stupidity to trust the manager and not to read the contract, but were stupid enough to decide to bulshit me and take this $30 and then charge me for 2nd month. Come on guys, $60 just to lose 3 customers.Front stuff was nice and polite though.
Went here to use a free trial but since I came as a guest a few years back with a friend I wasn’t eligible. Spoke to the sales manager Dwayne and he said I can do a three day trial for $10. Made a contract for me to sign and I ask him multiple times that it’s just for the free trial and inform me yes. A month later they charge me a fee of $70 as a membership fee. Had to call my credit card to dispute the charge cause he couldn’t give me a refund.
Scammed, these guys are thieves! They also have a horrible selection of machines.
1. When a piece of equipment is down usually takes weeks to repair.2. God forbid it rains! Might want to bring an umbrella due to multiple roof leaks. You know when you see the garbage cans spread out.3. The only reason Im still a member is because of the daycare. Lucky them.

I have noticed that this location is being neglected as of late. A couple of times we have found that there is no sanitary tissue in restrooms, but today top it off with no front desk attendant.I arrived at this location at 0355 hrs and place was wide open but nobody at front desk.Also restrooms were really dirty. Need to pay close attention to the place up keeping.

Gym is clean but the open warehouse style layout feels really weird and cluttered and there are not enough rack machines etc. Along with this the gym is like 90% machine and cardio stuff. They need more equipment but the free towels are nice.

Overall a good gym, its nice and big with a variety of different options and different workout styles. One thing it is missing if wifi. Many other much cheaper gyms have perfectly functional wifi (like youfit) and lots of people dont get reception in there! Its a common problem, and myself and many others as a result cannot stream music off our phones. Other than that its great!!! Wifi is the only thing missing (and a glute kickback machine would be nice)

Managers are very dishonest and rude. I signed up for 2 months while I was in town and cancelled before the date they told me to. They said they would not charge my account again, they have continued charging my account and when i spoke to them on the phone the corporate office said they gym didnt cancel my membership until almost 2 months later. (after waiting on hold for an hour to talk to anyone). A manager at the sunrise location, crystal, was very rude and refused to help. She stated I dont care what they told you when you signed up or cancelled in person, it was not me and we are not reversing the charges. I have not seen such terrible customer service before, im floored and would warn anyone considering this gym to try other places or have them sign everything for you as you will likely need it if you ever cancel.
Not worth the money. Weights are never re-racked, theres a leak in the ceiling every other time I go there, sanitation stations are almost always lacking in the cleaning fluid, and the personnel are a mixed bag of friendly and...well, unfriendly. Why spend 40 bucks a month on this low-quality gym when I could spend 10 a month going to another gym, or even work out at home?
Very serious problem, the water from the fountains is disgusting. Something is very wrong, very very wrong...Decent range of machines, great free weight rack, could have more core focused machines.

Its a big facility with lots of equipment. The only complaint I have is they could use more squat racks there and they need more 45 lb plates.
Terrible customer service. Trying to cancel my membership and you can only do it through their cancellation department on the phone and there is always a 20-25 minute wait time. Everybody I have spoken to there feels its a ripoff. They poorly maintain the place.
Big club, lots of equipment... DIRTY equipment. Seriously, this club looks as if its never been cleaned, ever. The machines are plentiful, but dusty and you can see what looks like years of dirt, sweat stains and filth, its discusting. The locker room floors are so dirty that where wet, theyre actually muddy. Im sure someone is getting paid to clean this club, but theyre on a permenetnt vacation from cleaning and only collecting their check. After reading some of the other reviews, I can live without wifi, but clean this club, PLEASE!

Amenities always broken, AC is turned off from midnight to 5am. Cleaning crew does not have a schedule and will close off an entire section. And expensive compared to other gyms
They have promised Wi-Fi since I signed up a year ago NO CELL signal for ATT or Vorizon and no Wi Fi which means no apple or google music steraming services work NOR Spotify.Elliptical machines are rusting out at the joints. Most programs and heart monitors dont workWeights are strewn about the place and never clean or in order. They dont bother to organize they just leave the chaos for the next day.For a Premium gym it certainly lacks many amenities. Dont be fooled their is nothing Premium about this location other than the PRICE.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
