Paul was very sweet and respectful. While helping me with my membership, he greeted other members in and even knew them by their first name. Ive been pleased with having a membership with youfit for the past few years and Paul just solidified why I was a patron for so long.

Leaning out for the summer. Its close to me and the hours are convenient. Its not a body building gym but it has the basics. No bugs. Locker rooms are old, equipment old but everything works. Not busy around prime hours. Check in was easy, employees are friendly. Ill come back every now and then

I would give this place zero starts if I could. My husband called and cancelled his membership last year and paid a $30 cancellation fee for early termination. This company then proceeded to double charge me each month (yes charge me the monthly membership fee twice a month) without my permission. I have called several times to explain this and everytime they say ok now you are good, but then my card again gets charged TWICE. Because this location is apparently incapable of properly terminating services after multiple times of asking, I called my bank and my bank saw fit that they have been fraudulently charging me and reimbursed me what this location stole from me. Now a year later this company has the audacity to send my delinquent bill to a collections office. This is the worst business do not give them any of your card information, they are completely incapable of correctly charging or terminating service!

This is a great location. Most of the times I’ve come here it’s not too crowded.

I really love this Youfit location. Pretty spacious, clean and a lot of equipment compared to other locations. Ive always felt good energy and never had a terrible experience here

To Whom it may concern,This email is in regard to refund owed to me by Youfit for wrongfully charging my account for service not rendered. On April after a health scare I signed up with Youfit Health Club located on 2101 North University Drive, Sunrise Florida 33322. Avi the Manager for the personal trainers program, encouraged me to join the program. I paid for two sessions a week for the first month and the second month they would deduct money for one session a week. I was promised assistance with meal preparations and on the off training days, I would be provided with an exercise regimen. I was assigned to Jonathan as a personal trainer.I was never provided with an off training exercise regimen as promised, despite reminding Jonathan of the details of the contract. There were several miscommunication between Avi and Jonathan. It took several sessions, and I to remind him, before Jonathan, provided me with a meal recording sheet. I travel as a nurse and informed Avi in Late May, for the Month of July I would not be in town. I requested to cancel my contract for July. Avi stated he would cancel the contract and because I cancel one Month in advance, I would not be charged. Due to health issues I missed three sessions in May. Avi assured Me, the session would roll over into the next month, since it was already paid for. I tried on several occasion to set training date with Jonathan after June 08thto no avail. On the 10th of June, Jonathan texted me due to health issues he will no longer be able to train me. I called Jonathan and he proceeded to explain as per Youfit policy and procedure he do not believe he will return. I waited to be reassigned with a new trainer, however no one from Youfit called to provide any information. I called Avi several Times, finally he texted me on June 17th, I got your message and will call you soon. I will take care of you, no worries. Avi never called me. On June 18th I called and spoke to general Manager Corey, who stated he would have AVi call me. Avi never called. I received a text on June 18th instead, stating he would again call me. Avi never called. I called again and spoke to general manager Corey who scheduled a one-time session with Avi on Thursday June 24th. After That session I asked Avi, will I be refunded for the Month of June, since I paid for training and did not receive any training. He stated he will follow up with me after reviewing my account. I reminded Avi, I would not be in town in July, Avi stated I got you.I was never contact in regards to my monies for June. I spoke to both Corey general Manager and Bre assistant manager, who brushed me off. This have caused me great stress. I join Youfit to help improve my health and the experience have left me devastated. In addition I learned Avi never cancel my contract as he stated, and I was billed for the Month of July.I ask this matter be addressed as soon as possible. I need to be reimbursed for Both June and July. The Youfit on University is missed managed and inconsiderate of their clients time and hard earn money. The managers at Youfit are very dishonest. I hope their conduct is not promoted and/or tolerated within the company.

Finally found a gym that is not expensive but is still badass. Love this gym. Good stuff

I like this location because it’s not so packed as others. I never had an issue waiting for a machine and there’s many cardio machines upstairs. You can try the membership for 15$ a month for two months before the charge a 60$ annual fee. I ended up keeping it beyond 2 months and i can’t complain. If your the type that just cares about gettting a workout in and get straight to it, this has everything.

Havent been here in two years because of covid. The card they had for me on file was compromised so I had to cancel it. I wasnt receiving any charges from the gym so I thought nothing of it. Few months later I receive a letter from a debt collector for nearly 200$ dollars! I havent been here in 2 YEARS and now I have to pay 200$ dollars for nothing because of the shady contract. SMH

Gloomy and dirty gym. Once had an employee challenge me to a fight because I put a boundary on his poor treatment of me. Went to management and they did nothing. Go to any other location.

The most joke of an establishment to ever exist! They charge you full fees while being on lock down and then prevent you from being able to cancel your membership by shutting down phone lines! Then immediately upon reopening charge your account an additional $42!!! They just opened yesterday and charged me! How dare they not allow people to cancel memberships and how dare they charge people for services they no longer provide. It’s be better to throw your money in the toilet and and eat lemons for 3 months to lose weight than it would be to support this establishment.

Gym says I cant cancel membership. Keeps billing me and sending me to collection. Dont come here, they will sign you up and do everything they can to not let you off their contract. They will keep giving you the run around to cancel. Another sleezy gym.

I called during Covid in April to cancel my membership. They indicated I had to mail a letter to cancel my membership. I did then notice they kept billing me. I called and they indicated it was up to me to prove that I mailed the letter and with cases surging they wanted me to come in to sign my name to cancel. Really sad to make it incredibly difficult to cancel. I would have gone back when things cleared up but not now.

Great atmosphere, great team members, great equipment and great price. Theres plenty of room to get your own work done, even during peak hours. Youfit allows you to bring a guest for free anytime and that promotes fitness to your friends and family free of charge, which is fantastic. I will be with this gym for the foreseeable future.

During this pandemic, YOUFIT still charged for my membership, even though the gym was closed. I stated I wanted my money back instead of credit, since I would be canceling my membership because I don’t feel comfortable going during this time. They refuse to give my money back, after countless back and forth emails. Meanwhile, all my friends go to PLANET FOTNESs and we’re not charged while the gym was closed so there was nothing to argue or to fight. Now, when this is all over I will be taking my business to them. And I will continue to write bad reviews on every platform until they make this right! STEALING MONEY is not the way to do business!!!

Good GYM membership but TERRIBLE personal training program. Do NOT sign up for the personal training program, unless you just want to waste or buy frustration here. Information is not made clear to customer, especially the cancellation policy. I did not even know I could just sign up for the JUMP START program and ended up with JUMP START and 3 month personal training program. I signed up for the program on Monday and was asked to come back on Tuesday for training . I showed up and my trainer was not available. She called me and said that her calendar was booked until the following Monday. I knew that something was not right and contacted the Director of the training program to cancel the program or convert it to by session training . I was asked to wait for him to figure it out . I kept asking and 7 days in a row was told to wait. Then he came back and said Im not allowed to cancel the program or convert it to training by session. For the whole first month, I had only 2 training sessions and Youfit tried to withdraw 3 payments from my account ( $ 188, $152 and $152) just for the first month. I kept coming back to request the cancellation and finally got it done with paper states that I will be responsible for $0.00 for future payment . Thought it was done but I then got billed for 2 month of the personal training ( $304 each and $188 Jump start) . I then request a copy of the agreement and cancellation note . I then knew that during the first 3 days I could just have it cancelled for free, plus I could start with the Jump start program without 3 month training program. He messed it up and I could not cancel anymore after that. I asked for help to remove the unbalance since I have only 2 training so far . I then found out there is no corporation number for customer service. All calls are sent back to the location that I signed up for and the Director of the Training program said no one in this corporation or at Youfit can help me to remove the balance. The only way to remove it is to pay it off. I wish I did not sign up for this training program but I did so I now waste almost $800 for nothing but frustration and no one can help me with it

The staff is friendly. Usually there is no need to wait for a machine to be available, the only exception is between 5:30pm and 8:00 pm when the gym is crowded, but even at that time you can found something to do. Good price, it is cheaper than others gyms. Overall I have a good time in this gym.

I love going to Youfit for the classes that they offer. Specifically the Sweat and Sculpt classes. It’s a great way to burn a lot of calories and tone up! And just when you think you won’t feel anything, your body will be sore lol

Since I signed up in January Ive been coming to this facility 4 to 5 times a week and have never had a bad experience. I love the staff! I love the yoga class they have on Tuesday nights. The trainers are super sweet and insightful. My favorite trainer is Autumn, she knows what shes doing and not only does she kick my butt in my workout but she also makes it fun! Definitely will be going back for sure!

This is a great gym for a great price. They have plenty machines and you can always get the job done. The 24 hour week days are perfect for the no-excuses folks too!The only thing i would even wish was different is a bigger area for stretch & rehab. I asked if i could stretch in the class room but was told no, so thats my only complaint. More room for stretch & rehabilitation.

Joe rocks!! He is the Zumba instructor at the Sunrise location on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. His joy is infectious. He loves what he does, and makes everyone in class feel welcome. I get a great workout, while laughing and smiling the entire time. Zumba changed my life. Its the cherry on top of my workout routine. Thanks for the great service you provide Joe. You are amazing!

Be careful with these scam gym. From beginning the try to catch you by offer you a really cheap price for a membership, then they try to offer you training programs, which is never provide you training enough like they said, but the keep charge you money by your bank account automatically ( even though they dont provide you training). That ridiculous policy they never tell you from beginning. Be aware of these scam peopel.

I really like this gym, everyone seems friendly and helpful even the maintenance man. So far all the staff that I’ve spoken to have been very kind and wants to help in any way, and the maintenance man walks around the gym constantly cleaning and wiping down everything after the customers. I have and will continue to recommend this gym.

This location is usually busy; but not so much so that I cant perform my regular routine. I used to frequent here because of the convenience but the sweat smell inside is a bit overwhelming at times. Otherwise Id recommend.

My car was stolen from this location last week and other members had personal belongings stolen from the lockers. This gym allowed a solo guest to come in... did not take down identification and this individual walked the gym freely alone. Yet still every time bring a guest in they are ID and information stored in the system.DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE A VICTIM OF THEFT!As another member stated in a review below, who is also a victim of theft at this location: no responsibility is taken by this facility nor Youfit corporate for the negligence of their staff.

Excellent location. Tons of equipment and lots of cardio! Also very conveniently located. Machines are a little older, but everything is in great working condition.

They are very sneaky. During the pandemic I had to use Twitter to temporarily freeze payments because Twitter has limited control. They were still charging me while the physical location was closed and no one was answering the phone. They said they would credit back my account for the months that were closed but they never did. They said I could dispute the charges when they open but the operation manager told me it was too late. I needed a long term freeze but the operation manager said I should I called since June. But according to my conversation with Twitter (which I have proof in photos) I was calling since June but no one answered. They said I had over three months but I was calling since the operation manager told me to. They are liars! Do Not Sign Up with them! They kept the money they said they would credit back in my Twitter conversation. Nothing but lies!

Great people working there. Very attentive to everyone and very polite. Only improvement needed is that the gym needs new weights because the rubber ridges have been withered away to almost just metal. Need more clamps, too. Very clean. I love You Fit, been going to this brand gym for 5 years now!

Very nice gym. It has the basics and a sauna, as well as yoga, Zumba, or total body sculpt. Does not have the massage beds or pool. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The attention in the morning is excellent and is very clean.I love especially the zumba classes with the instructor Rosa,Mondays and wednesday she is the best ...it would be fabulous if she give us Tuesday and Friday too😉

First time back at the gym in months, Ive been scared due to covid, however like what I saw, social distancing and machines being wiped down by employees.

Rather ghetto for those looking to build their muscle mass. They provide cheap inadequate shoulder pads leading you to harm yourself while using their machines. Their excuse, people keep stealing them. Really come on. Why invest in you if you can provide proper equipment?Racist young lady at service desk. RUN. They just lost 1 member plus 2 potential members on Jan 1st. Rather sign up at University Fitness instead they have all you need for a SERIOUS non bias workout.

Zumba classes has an excellent instructor (Francia ) on Thursdays and Fridays. I love her energy and a variety of music and steps.Also physical sculpture on Thursdays is great. 😊. Equipments are in very good condition.Great environment.

Decent value especially for first timers. Nice staff. Very busy during peak hours (5- 9 pm). There are lockers, showers and a sauna. Treadmills and bike machines on second floor. Strength machines and group room on the first. There are water bottles and protein drinks for sale if you are in a bind. Machines are cleaned very often but it helps to DIY with the towels and sprays available. This may be unrelated but there is smoothie cafe adjacent to the gym serving pre and post workout smoothies.

Sunrise location is very clean, great customer service and the GM shanon is very nice and walks the floor all the time. The equipment is clean and new.

I do like the gym, I would like to have more dumbbells with different weights such as 7.5 pounds, 12.5, 17.5, and if you guys can fix the pulley in the middle of the gym. Otherwise I do like the service very profesional.

Great, clean, spacious gym. You can join for $10/month or $20/month which allows a guest. Great value if you dont need pool and jacuzzi. Friendly staff and equipment is well maintained and almost always clean..

I think Youfit is a great gym. The staff is great, Shannon the manager is fabulous and works well with customers. I think the classes that Youfit has to offer are wonderful, however the reason for three stars, is because in order to add a new class on Thursday night they took off Francia’s Zumba class from the schedule. I have been attending Francia’s Zumba classes every Thursday and Friday consistently and have committed to her classes. It was her class that was my first Zumba class I ever stepped foot in. She is an AMAZING instructor. The energy level, her music, the fact that she is so passionate about coming to class and teaching Zumba every week is what keeps members coming to class. This is the second time this has happened as the Lauderhill location also had a change in schedule which affected her Saturday morning class which I began committing to as well. She’s been teaching this class for 4 years and as a member I feel that something could be done to keep her class around whether it’s offered at a later time or a different day, but to remove her class of 4 years 😔. For some it’s easy to say that there are many others out there to follow, in fact I have tried others before but not all instructors are meant for everyone, that’s not to say that they are not good, I’m sure they are all great, I just chose to follow the ones I follow, Francia being the first one.

Pretty good gym I was a member of Planet Fitness and stopped by the Recharge smoothie shop next door. They gave me a free pass so I tried it. Overall its ok. Much more equipment then the last gym. The sauna is a plus and its 2 floors. Price is good but honestly the gym could do a better job with its upkeep. Coming from Planet that is what I can say is the difference (Cleanliness)

For the most part everything is great not overly expensive. I got the lime card which 21 dallors which allows you to bring another person with you. Only downfall is the steam room for the guys is offline which really sucks. Staff is alright providing information and such. When I go to the gym I do my thing and leave

The gym has 2 floors. The cardio equipment located on the 2nd floor. The staff are super friendly. The gym floor where the weights are has a lot of space. The locker rooms are kept clean and the sauna room is amazing. I love this location. I hope the staff are getting paid for keeping everything professional especially the cleaning man. He really does a good job. A+recommendation if possible a tv installed out of the sauna so people can watch through a glass would be really cutting edge and probably bring more people.

I would NEVER recommend anyone sign up for this gym due to alleged illicit billingand hidden charges they dont tell you about. When i signed up i was told it would be one monthly amount of $21.99 every month. A payment did not go through for me and no one called to advise i went to another location and was told i quickly provided my banking info to the front desk person who advised they will only charge the past due amount i was ok with that which was only a month from what i understood. Today i checked my bank account and saw $117.00 charged i was flabbergasted. I called Lauderdale lakes the girl who answered was rude and yelled you call the wrong gym. I hung up and called this location where i signed up and requested a manager a lady named shrelin or something she omg she was rude beyond measure. I have never in my years of reviewing businesses had any manager so rude, disrespectful, condescending and uncouth. She was yelling even though i spoke calmly did not use profanity and maintained my dignity. I was just disappointed in the debit of an amount way larger than expected and the additional fees no one divulged would be taken. I told her i would post a bad review based on her tonality and billing she say oh what you gonna post that your card DECLINED . So i let her know my card did not decline it was lost/stolen and i inadvertently missed providing the new info. Immediately when i was notified i provided my bank account on the spot. The whole ad about nothing down and a monthly is fake there are hidden fees and the employees are veryrude as evidenced by the way this manager spoke to me like a dog. I had to let her know i am an educated professional. A simple i am sorry and explanation would suffice. She told me she is available if i want to cancel lol. I will go over there and cancel. File a Bbb report, and find out the regulatory offices in charge to do an audit. Due to the managers behaviour and the way billing is done and i will cancel and spend the money on 24hrs i rather spend a million dollars where i am respected as opposed to spending even $1 where i am not treated with respect. Omg what a service.....never have i reviewed such bad service total mess. Careful how you allow people to play with your bank account.

I just finished the Wednesday evening zumba class with Maribel Mira at the Sunrise and university club. Ms Mira is the most unique, creative and best zumba instructor Ive had the pleasure to participate in zumba class with. I love how she sets the pace in the class. Quite a few of the other ladies love to come to her class. Some have said that they travel from far just to be in her class. Ive been a regular member since 2009 before it became You Fit. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do zumba with such an excellent instructor like Ms Mira.

I joined after visiting the smoothie shop next door. They recommended I join there and it was well worth it. Now I can workout and get something healthy afterwards.

The best one I have experienced so far. Great staff, and a lot of equipments. Plus, recharge is close by, you can get a nice smooty after your workout.

Revised.... Some changes. Been coming here now. For over 4 months, no changes in the bathroom conditions. There is a shower head missing for all the time that I have been there how much is that $5 To fix? The toilets do Not have locks so. If. You sit.... mind as well. Work your abs and hold the door close. Again maybe $5 to fix? It is hit or miss on the equipment, things get moved and you wont see ithem for a couple of days then youll see things come back. Now to the good stuff.... the Staff A+ always in good mood and friendly, all machines in good working order. Mens bathroom pretty clean, showers maybe the last one (handicap) as previewsly mention needs some love. All and all is a good gym with a good early morning crowd of Clients that come to Workout. Highly recommend if you are serious about working out.

The fat lady at the entrance didn’t allow me inside with my stretchy shorts jeans which I ve been there a lot of times with same short to work out when I ask her the reason she said because metarial of the short mess up the working out machine and I also clearly told her I wasn’t going to sit and use any of the machines, I was going to do free weights and running but her excuse didn’t make sense to me even tho I explained her I wasn’t going to sit and use the machines and if she came to me with nice and acceptable excuse I would not make this review.Sorry to say but customer service isn’t perfect plus many of the machines old and useless.

Great location, wonderful gym!! Staff is very knowledgeable and everyone always appears happy!! I was encouraged to try a Zumba class and after many trials I now look forward to Zumba on Thursday and Friday nights with Francia, she’s phenomenal!!

Where do I start I joined the about 2 months ago. Every was great until I signed up to workout with a trainer I brought my medical paper from the doctor clearly stated that no workout, but they still taking money from my account. When I went there and spoke to one the guy I was told he missed place my paper from the doctor ok I let it slide. Until today $152 came out of my account again. Please stay away from this people trying to place with a trainer the moment you try to close the membership it becomes a problem. I would not recommend this place to any to work with a trainer.

Been a happy gym-goer here for a few years now and I cannot complain: the staff is helpful and friendly, the equipment is maintained and even replaced with newer models, and the atmosphere is solid. During all of these years I have not even considered switching to another gym. It can get a little busy sometimes during the midday and prime time but with a 24hr open time frame from mon-thurs it can quiet down quite a bit during the later hours and early morning.

Tried this location for the first time. Joses zumba class is lots of fun and a great workout.

This gym had improved so much. . I started here in august and now they got tons of new equipment.. for $20 a month which includes discounted drinks and one free person a workout you cant beat that.. really good gym.

Great gym! I come here for the yoga classes and I must say the best quality yoga for a YouFit gym. The instructor Danielle is my favorite. She guides us through various forms of yoga. From soft and gentle to the most challenging vinyasa flows. The staff is super helpful and the gym is well kept. Only complaint is I wish the previous classes would finish on time as to not overlap other classes to give us a fair amount of time to practice.

Not all youfit created equal, need a quick work out, little outdated, dark, but clean

In general, I like Youfit. However, I believe the Sunrise center is the only location with a sauna. From time to time, the sauna doesnt work and being that I really like using the Sauna its annoying since I cant go to any other locations. The fact that there are competitors eagerly wanting a new client to come on board makes it very tempting to cancel my gym membership. Ive visited other gyms and was highly impressed to see not only a large sauna room but in addition, a steam room. Another issue with the Sunrise center is that in the middle of taking a hot or warm shower in the womens locker room, the water for some reason turns ice cold. I cant express how aggravating it is, especially when I have soap all over my skin and im waiting dam near 3 minutes for the water to warm up! The Sunrise location seriously need to invest on better showers.

For the cost i think they offer everything one would need.

Seems ok, however the bathrooms really need help, but they are working on them now, and I really wished that they offered spin class, that would be truly amazing!

This is a very comfortable/spacious location as its two floors. More often than not, you can find the machine you are looking to use.
