I have been to SmartStyle in the past and I had a great experience. Now fast forward at least 8 years and I see theyve yet to miss a beat! I went in for a haircut and Sasha delivered! I told her my concerns and she did her magic. I had very pleasant conversation with Chantel as well. Those ladies are gems and I can tell they both love what they do and that makes a world of a difference! I will be back! :)

Arrived at 5:40 on Sunday afternoon. According to their business hours they are open until 6pm. I needed to get a haircut for my 8 year old son, simple trim. The women working looked at me and said oh no we are closed. When I questioned her about it and said according to your website you are open until 6 she just pushed back and said no we are closed. Honestly I could have pushed the envelope more but figured she would be vindictive and give him a garbage hair cut so we just left. I do understand it is frustrating when people come in the last little bit before closing and under normal circumstances I wouldn’t have. Also if it would have been anything complicated, besides a 10 minute kids haircut I would not have gone. Moral of the story don’t trust the business hours, closing/opening time maybe subject to change depending on who is working?

Chantel the owner was amazing, knowledgeable, professional, and flexible. She took my appt last minute when I needed a trim, and gave me some helpful tips!! My hair feels so much better! Ill be back🤗

Went here to get a cut after shopping...just a trim...charged 35.00 because I was white...craziest thing Ive ever seen...didnt even have thinning shears...stay far away from this place

They followed all proper guidelines to keep guests safe. They took temperatures upon arrival. Customers were kept 6 ft apart. They have a barrier set up on each work station including pedicure. Everytime I visit SC. They are the only ones I trust with my hands and feet. Awesome job 5 stars from this NYer. 😉😉

The person over charged me plus I had to wait 45 minutes

No one at this place is knowledgeable in military style hair cuts or flattop, if youre in the military or Police and looking for a place definitely check befor you go. I dont choose this place because they could not help me when it comes to precision and precise haircuts to a t. I was better off just going to a barber shop which they now have my business. Just from my opinion and experience. I give this one star because I believe first impression is everything and when it comes to haircuts it must be precise and on point.

Always a pleasant experience. Professional staff. I have found 3 stylists there are most competent with razor cuts of any where I have been in the Low Country for the past 15 years.

Charlayne use cold water to rince my hair and even though I complained she did not change it and just proceeded. Charlayne put color on except the top and sides so only half was done...very dispointed and wish my money back at this time.

They always make me look good! At affordable prices you can look great any time.

My fiance went in to get his beard tried and lined up and the lady butchered it. He was unsatisfied with it and it was uneven that he had shave the whole thing off.

Stephanie Thiele does a great job. I strongly recommend her. She is very friendly and professional and she knows what she is doing.

My brother actually had His hair cut not I. However, during his visit and noted a friendly atmosphere and a cozy waiting area. The stylists were very pleasant.Based on how well they cut my brothers hair, I think I may be coming back for a trim sometime soon...

Been going there 15 years. The owner and 5 women stylist.always ate real good at their trade and always a short wait.

Went in for a haircut and Stephanie was awesome! Told her to do what she thought would look best and it turned out absolutely amazing. Will definitely be going to her next time I need my haircut.

Loved the woman that worked there but she had since left to go to myrtle beach! She was there for years and did a fantastic job!

Because they were supposed to be open and werent, with no explanation why. If theyre shutdown, they should say so.

I took my son here Monday night. I totally regret it. They gave him the worst hair cut ever. Like it is awe full. My child is the off spring of Jim Carey’s character from dumb and dumber. She cut it in like 1 minute. It’s a bowl cut which I said I didn’t want. She said how he had a double calic and how you can’t cut the hair too short or it will stick up. She cut it to short. I will never go hair again and never recommend it. Not worth it for the price I was charged. It looked like my 8 year old niece cut his hair.

Didnt get the style that I wanted. Stylist Stephanie had to come into work because I was waiting over an hour for her to get there and when she got there she decided to cut almost all of my hair off when I asked for a style that was on the poster in Salon. It was supposed to be a tapered style but she used as she said to the other stylist lets use the number four then other stylist agreed. if he cut majority of my hair off

Stephanie has ten years experience and I have thick course long hair,cut off more than I wanted but Its more manageable and healthy thx!

I bought a microwave and used my 10% military discount only to find that it was not on my receipt went back and talk to you manager and said it was not eligible because it was already discounted are yet nobody said anything at the cash register about us not getting itI had to go out in the parking lot and find out that they did not put it on there they should have been up-front have not heard about this before what the manager told me that it was something new that they just started I think if theyre going to give the military a discount it should be given we didnt change things when we gave our service

Depends who the stylist is.the last one I had was very good

Seems like they have a high turnover rate. I go about every two months and the previous stylist rarely there again.

Went at 530 today stood there for 10 minutes before I was greeted for the lady to say we are done for the day but the door says it closes at 6. Won’t be back at all.

The lady who cut my sons hair butchered it. I could have done better with dull scissors and I dont know how to cut hair.
