I had my first experience at The LAB on 9/16 and it was great! I showed up a little early and was taken right at the time of my appointment. I had a couple of pictures for reference and wanted a refresh and thats exactly what I got! Jennivie was great! She was friendly, gave a great head massage for my hair washing, and gave great tips for what I should get!

I had my first experience with the Lab today when I went in for a perm and haircut. Rachel was my stylist and she was terrific. Id recommend her to anyone needing a perm. I think Ive found a home! Ill definitely be going back.

New to the area and have dreaded the search for a new stylist especially since I am going from dark back to blonde. Found the LAB, read through reviews and scheduled an appointment with Ashley!! 100% recommend. She did such a great job on my hair, took care of it, and did exactly what I wanted. My hair also feels so soft! She was so sweet and kind and helped ease my nerves - as finding a new hair dresser is never easy!

I visited for the first time today for highlights. I was appreciative to the extra attention to detail. Tyler made sure I had no yellow tones in my hair which pulls super easy. As I wash my hair it will take a while to fade to that undesirable color. Less upkeep. I should have mentioned that I was on a little bit of a time constraint with my kids at home and It did take a little longer than usual but it was my first time, so, there was a consult. I was quick to leave at the end and I wanted to leave a review to say I am happy with the end result and service.

Melissa always listens to exactly what I want and helps me achieve the look km going for. Never plan to go anywhere else.

This owner is one of the best Ive ever had to do my hair. I have only had 3 hairstylists in my life who have been all time favorite and Mel is one. You cant go wrong with her! The shop is stylish, and inviting. Very spa-like. Lots of parking space and easy to get to. No complaints!

I was considering a new salon and had considered trying your establishment. I read reviews to get a feel for an overall experience before I make a decision to try it out. I understand and expect there to be good AND bad reviews bc without both you truly dont know if the reviews were written honestly by customers or not. The negative comment from Sara Tomovick from 4 months ago, while not in your businesses best interest, it was still honest. The comment from the owners is justified so the situation can be rectified and give those that are reading the reviews a sense of comfort knowing that the owner acknowledged the concern and has done right by the customer as best as possible. I overlooked the negative comment bc the owner attempted to rectify it by stating what was being done differently in the salon. HOWEVER, the last paragraph stating (rather snidley) from the owner to enjoy your haircut. We will refund your money. And YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOME BACK IN OUR ESTABLISHMENT. That statement alone did it for me. It is clear that the owner can not handle criticism. And while it is hard during this time to stay afloat as a business owner that statement was totally UNCALLED for. The purpose of a review, good OR bad is to be honest. If its not good than a comment from an owner or manager trying to rectify the situation is valid. Most people who read reviews can overlook bad comments IF the response was with honesty and integrity to rectify the situation. Even if the customer is still unhappy. Bc its well known you cant please everyone.I will NOT be trying out your salon for the above statement by the owner and for THAT reason alone. You shouldve stopped at your money will be refunded and added I do apologize for your experience, this is not a common practice. I take pride in my shop and its cleanliness. I assure you this will not happen again. Please come back for a complimentary hair cut.

My whole family goes here to get our hair cut and styled. The whole crew is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place no matter what style you want to get your hair. One of the stylists, Tyler, is really great at pixie cuts and is amazing at coloring hair whatever color you can imagine. When you go please let them know you saw this review on Google. I am trying to spread the word about a great salon that is incredibly affordable.

The Lab Hair Salon has one the Best Hair Stylist in the area - Sam - she is an English Born American with Fabulous Styling Skills! I am a natural redhead approaching 70 years old this year and I want my redhead to look absolutely stunning. Sam works her Magic and I am 39 again for the 40th year! I first went to the Lab when after moving from New York to Summerville I was fiercely looking for a place that would match up to my guy in New York for my highlights who was amazing. I did try another place for a while but I never quite got what I asked for. It just was not what I wanted and then I was told about the Lab. I had a consultation with Melissa and explained what I was looking for and she put her thoughts in as well. I gave it a try and wow it was exactly as I had explained. Finally I found a person in South Carolina I was able to get excited about. I highly recommend The Lab. Nice people and the service was great.

Tyler did a fantastic job. Im a yankee city boy and sometimes down south and outside the city I get nervous about finding a hairdresser that wont give me a haircut with a country twang. Tyler took my overgrown mess and sculpted it into a sexy, stylish, modern look that would make a Spanish footballer proud (which works for me since I live in Spain). Anytime Im back in town to visit my parents, Im coming back for a cut from Tyler!

Went for my 9 year old to get his hair cut and my hair trimmed a month out from my wedding to get rid of some split ends. Amy did a fabulous job with my angsty 9 year old, she really made him feel at home. While Melissa handled my hair exactly as I had hoped she would. Im in the process of scheduling my appt now for my bridal pictures. I just know shell do an amazing job!
