I can’t say enough good things about my overall experience as a tenant with Pear Properties, at every turn Alan has been on top of any issues that have come up since starting my lease. I was bit nervous at first because the house I decided to rent is definitely on the older side, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the peace of mind Alan and his professional team have been able to provide. I know that I can rest assured if there is ever a problem with the property I’ll get an almost immediate response followed by a quick and efficient resolution to the issue at hand. This feeling is invaluable for me as a tenant. For this and many other reasons that I can’t fit into this short paragraph I’m very much looking forward to working with Pear Properties for many years to come!

Pear Properties (Alan and the entire staff) is by far the best rental management company/ landlord we have ever rented from. Alan is always on top of everything with ensuring that any problems that arise are taken care quickly. The maintenance crew also responds in a timely fashion. I would just like to take a moment and acknowledge Alan Drummond and all of the staff of Pear Properties for the amazing job they do each and every day. They have been personable, accomodating, and helpful in every encounter I have had with them. I have been a tenant in one of Pear Properties apartments for approximately one year, and I can honestly say that each time I have expressed a concern or a maintenance issue, it has been addressed efficiently, immediately, and professionally. It seems to make no difference if it is a large issue or small, Alan and the Pear Properties staff address each concern immediately. We have had the hot water heater replaced on the large issue spectrum; and a broken window repaired on the more minor issues. Every time I have called or submitted an online request, the issue has been dealt with expediently and professionally. I applaud Alan Drummond and the very capable staff of Pear Properties for a job well done!

Alan is unprofessional and rude. He is the worst property manager I dealt with.

Alan is cool and he really cares about the tenants.

Alan broke the contract multiple times, like he wouldn’t give us 24-48 hours notice of when somebody was coming to view the house. He gave us a 6 hour notice and he would only text one roommate. Didn’t do anything he promised when we first moved in. He has a horrible attitude most of the time unless you show up to give him money for rent. He shouldn’t be allowed to be a landlord. I will NEVER rent from him again and I will make sure people I know never rent from him. His Maintence people are awful and very rude.

Alan is amazing, he will jump over obstacles to get you what you want. Absolutely one of the best realtors Ive dealt with. Getting a place has been really hard but when we came to Alan, it took 5 minutes and we were setting up a time to receive the keys.

Hands down the worst experience as a tenant. The most unprofessional property manager with the most unprofessional land owner equals a nightmare!!! If you enjoy random people showing up unannounced at all hours for maintenance this is for you. If you enjoy getting cursed at and being held responsible for roof leaks and appliance failures you will love this gig. I was called and literally cussed out by the land owner and asked not to speak with his property manager Allan (whom I signed a lease with) after I was told most of my 900$ deposit would not be returned. Make sure you keep the copy of the original signed lease because mine was adjusted without my knowledge or signature. I had to get an attorney to receive our deposits back.

Alan Drummond can be very rude and unprofessional. A window in my apartment has been broken for 3 months, and this is not the first time we have waited forever to have something we needed fixed (our dryer for example). Our apartment was rented to us with no fire detectors or extinguishers. Originally we thought we were getting a great deal on rent until we realized the house is so improperly insulted that our power bill was as much as the rent. DON’T make the same mistake I made. Find a new realtor.

Worst landlord in statesboro. Don’t expect anything to get fixed. Also the owner is an avid “seeking arrangements” user. But on the other hand, if you “just turned 18” and are looking for vintage appliances. By all means sign with pear properties.
