This WAS one of my favorite places! The massages are good and the people that work there are wonderful, very attentive. I started to go there prior to COVID, so been going there for some time. However, in most recent time I started to noticed the manager whom is the same lady that answers and book the appointments started to brush people off. I called today and asked for the two ladies I use for gel and the time. They were not available but instead of being nice and working out times, the manager started to talk to me with an attitude, first saying pick one lady, to then ultimately telling me they are both not available. She hanged up on me and told me to come at a time I was still working. I called back and she was super rude and I explained that I work I cannot make that time. She did not like that I was not taking or accepting the time SHE wanted to give me. Not going back, so sad because her workers are lovely.

Ive been to many salons in the area. They provide excellent service and always remember your name and color selection. Long lasting gel/powder manicures and pedicures, amazing massage and fair pricing. Im a regular now.

I was desperate for a manicure and pedicure so I decided to try this salon. While I have no problem paying for a quality manicure & pedicure, this was not the case at Great Nail. They charged $47 for a powder gel manicure. My nail bed bled after the tech was finished. I was then charged $30 for a regular pedicure and then an extra $12 to remove calluses. My powder gel manicures generally last more than 2 weeks. This manicure barely lasted 1 week before the polish chipped off. The quality of both mani & pedi was below average. I will not be going back again. Desperation drove this bad decision. A hard and expensive lesson.

Exceptionally clean, hygienic and very friendly! A very pretty place with a softness and quietness needed to relax. All the pedicure chairs are luxurious and new, manicure chairs are generous with comfortable back pillows and all the latest and up to date equipment. Women walking in were greeted by 1st name, obviously long term customers, not high turn over. Had probably the best pedicure I have had in a long time. With attention to detail and excellent service and plenty of parking too. I highly recommend Great Nails High Ridge Plaza!

Im not one to typically write reviews but I felt I needed to for Great Nails. This is the best nail salon I have found in Stamford, trust me I searched. Staff is so friendly and nice, they really try to get to know their customers. The free massage while my nails dry is by far the biggest perk. The best nail salon by far.

The most awful nail salon ever. I went for a french manicure and it was a terrible job done... then by that evening it was chipping off and bubbling up. i went back and they told me that it is what happens with a french manicure!!!! I have had plenty of others and that sure didnt happen... so they re-did them in a pink color and rushed it and by the next day the same thing had happened. The place absolutely stinks of chemicals and is dated and dirty.NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THERE!!!!!!!!Naomi

First time at great nails since I heard good reviews but felt rushed, which brings down the whole experience because this is the only time I have to myself. I did not have a quick massage while my nails dried. But some other people did. So I will not be coming back.

Hit or miss. Never have to wait because they’re always a lot of people working. Always have massages while your nails dry, which is great but the service is not consistant. Have had great pedicures and not good ones. Lately there have been more bad than good ones. Example: Today I had Sonia which kept giving her coworker, Silvia, looks during my pedicure. She also kept looking around instead of paying attention to what she was doing. Everyone has bad days at work, but it’s unprofessional in a face to face customer service setting to be doing that. During the leg scrub she barely rubbed it in so it was useless. She was always very rough. She was complaining about another customer not tipping to her coworker in front of customers. Was not a pleasant experience at all.

Pedicures r fine but I also got acrylic French nails and there just so badly done its not even funny. Spent 150$ and I wasnt going to tip because my nails were crooked some nails r thicker then others and she got acrylic all around and underneath my natural nail so its on my skin she cut my cuticles and when I left had the audacity to follow me to my car and beg for a tip wont be going back there ever again.

Awful. The woman attending raised the price raised the price three times in 5 minutes which was an obvious attempt to get at whatever money I had. The place reeks of chemicals so badly that staff and not the customers had white masks covering their nose in order not to breathe in the toxins in the air it was horrible! We left.

Terrible...I left mid-appointment with gooey nails. The owner was pushy and rude from the start when I asked for color gel colors rather than shellac. Then, after not loving the color on one finger, I asked to see the other colors. The woman stood up and said something in Cantonese that was clearly unkind (while looking right at me) and the three other women added to it (including the owner) - all this before even acknowledging my request. I asked if there was a problem and the owner ignored me. Finally, I just said very calmly, I think Im going to go. They didnt stop me. Nothing about my experience makes me think they value their customers.
