I love Venus nail bar!! I am specific to who does my nails there although I think all of the workers are extremely talented in their own ways. They truly listen to what you want done and if they need to help guide you to what will look better they will (which I appreciate). I always feel so welcomed and remembered there which I appreciate a lot since I am in religiously every two weeks! 11/10 recommend!!

So I went in and asked for a gel manicure, and asked for the instagram picture. I asked that they make the shape different and shorten the length and they didn’t have someone to add length to my nails. so I said it was fine to just do my natural length. the nail tech filed my nails and did everything normally, started adding the gel. she got to the design that I wanted, the black heart on just the ring finger. she made the heart bright blue and added a gold line above it. the hearts are sloppy and uneven. i guess it’s my fault because i didn’t say anything, but i showed her the picture and it very clearly shows black unless i’m going crazy. and there is very clearly no gold line. it was hard to understand my nail tech so they had the only woman who could clearly speak english translate for a minute but it was still no help apparently. i don’t mean to be rude here, but it was very upsetting for me.

This place was recommended to me by a friend, and after reading the reviews I was very hesitant to go. Some people say it’s great. And some people say it’s awful. My experience was better than I excepted. My nails turned out FANTASTIC and I’m very happy. They’re the length and shape I wanted, and design I have turned out great.My only complaint is that I called, and was told my appointment was for 2:30, but I didn’t get seated and start having my nails done til 3. They were busy, which is understandable. Will definitely be going.

Julie did an amazing job! she was super sweet and handled my issues with my old acrylics from another salon so well! i would definitely recommend venus. the salon was super cute too!

I have never experienced such care of my nails. Plus they have so many different kinds of polishes and are on trend. I got jelly nails for the first time and they were great! Lasted super long. And I had white wine lol This is probably the first time I’ve had someone be so careful with my hands, and it’s the same price I pay for a manicure back in Saint Louis!

The nail tech who did my nails was super nice and polite and my nails look great. However, the experience up to that point was not so great. The nail tech who helped me when I walked in (when I had an appointment and arrived on time) was extremely rude. But yet everyone else who walked through the door she was polite to. I guess if you aren’t an Instagram influencer looking girl or rich older women she has no interest in being nice to you from the looks of it. However, like I said the nail tech who actually did my nails was extremely nice and polite.

All of the ladies were super nice and professional! My nail tech was insanely fast and kind! I got the dip powder on my nails and Im never doing anything different to them. Found my new favorite nail salon ♥️ thank you!

I had my first experience here yesterday and loved it! I was a walk-in (normally, I make an apt, but it was my birthday and it was spontaneous 😊) and they easily fit me in and were very friendly. Everything was very clean and the whole place is so gorgeous! I love my toenails!

BEST PLACE TO GO TO!!! I have jumped back and forth between the years on getting my nails done and it always seemed after getting them done they would look clumpy, uneven, etc. However after finding Venus I will never go anywhere else now! For one they have an AMAZING selection of colors to pick from, the staff is very friendly and the wait time has always been short! I always get tips with a gel top and this is the thinnest I’ve ever seen nails done! Also they make sure they cover the whole nail with paint! & they offer student discounts! Highly recommend

Beautiful place inside but the quality of nail polish could be better. I always get the gel as I do not like fake nails but I want my polish to last. It literally started peeling off my nails in less then a week.

Me and my sister came here for a pedi and mani appointment. Right when We walked in, We were treated so rudely by the front desk. The workers here are very unfriendly and unprofessional. We waited almost over half an hour for them to finally start on our nails. We ended up not even getting our nails done together because my sister had waited even longer for them to start on hers. Not to mention the quality of their work is terrible. You can tell they rushed just to get the job done. Please don’t waste your time and money at this place.

Had a reservation at 130pm. They did not seat us for the first 20 minutes. Then sat us in a pedi chair and left us for 50. Cold water, no communication (we asked several times for an update, nothing). Disappointed because it is close to home. Will never return! UPDATE: one technician just came over to start on ONE of us and BURNED my 74 yo old mothers foot. I asked for a cold towel. Nothing. Unbelievable. Obviously we left. Never again. Stay away!!

Was treated very rudely within a few mins of walking in the doors. Didn’t feel comfortable to even stay. I’d go somewhere else

They nickel and dime and then dont even set a timer to make sufe you get what you paid for. We upgraded out pedis for the massage and my Mom was still getting her massage when my nails were already done, so I definitely didnt get the massage paid for.They also dont cure the nail polish before you leave, so my Moms nail polish smeared an hour and a half after the pedi was done.Dont waste your money here. If you do, dont pay for the upgrade.

Its a cool environment for sure, to be able to relax with a drink and get your nails done. David was my nail tech and he was lovely. Im just sad that my gel manicure only lasted shortly over a week :( good while it lasted but for the price it just isnt affordable for me. I didnt do much to wear them down besides dishes and showers every few days. Oh well!

Jason did an AMAZING job on fixing my bad set of nails that I had got done somewhere else and Emma did such an AMAZING job as well on my moms pedicure. The atmosphere of the shop was comforting and everyone was so nice. I seriously recommend this place. I know where I will be going to from now on. Such a great place!

This place came very highly recommend and I will say the environment is very clean and very appealing. However, my nail tech, whose name I did not get, was very rude to me. He pulled my hand closer to file my nails and I knocked over a bottle of (closed) gel polish. I apologized, even though it wasnt my fault, and he rolled his eyes and groaned. I brushed it off, but later I misheard him as he told me to put my nails under the gel lamp and when I asked what he said he angrily raised his voice at me in front of a very crowded salon. It was very embarrassing. On top of that, I paid extra for coffin shaped nails and he gave me square shaped.The other nail techs did seem very nice and my friends nails, who also got coffin shaped, turned out perfect. My nails, aside from the shape, are very nice but everytime I look at them I just remember how anxious and uncomfortable I was because of my nail tech.

AMAZING! I recently moved here from NC for work and had a bad experience at another salon. Everyone at Venus is truly amazing and very talented. I cannot rave enough about this salon and staff! 10/10 recommend!!!

First time I went my nails looked good but they left polish all around the outside of the nails on my fingers. Second time the lady didn’t know how to do the technique that was offered and had to have two other people help. Third time the staff was joking around with each other and when I would try to talk they would shut me down. Nails looked good but still left with polish all over and my hands super dry from from the acetone.

This was my first time coming to this nail salon and it was personally a great experience! My nail tech was super sweet and took her time. She did a great job with my nails.

The nail tech spent very little time cleaning up my nails for my pedicure. Scrubbed each foot maybe 15 seconds to remove calluses. The polish is messy. I didnt notice how bad it looked until I got in my car. Definitely one of the worst and messiest pedis Ive had. And they werent even busy so it wasnt like there were other customers waiting. She just didnt take the time to make it look nice.

Made an appointment to see Julie and she did amazing! She went above and beyond my expectations. The salon is beautiful, and they have the most color options I’ve ever seen in a salon. Will be going here from now on!

Made an appointment for 10:30am. Arrived at the salon, waited an extra 45 minutes passed my scheduled appointment. When the next nail tech was available he threw a fit & wanted to assist another customer that didn’t have an appointment & came in AFTER me anyways! The head nail tech insisted he do my nails because I had an appointment, he bickered with her for over 5 minutes. Then when doing my nails he was extremely passive aggressive taking out his anger on ME! I was so shocked & sad because I was looking forward to having my nails done.. He over drilled my nails, swatted my hand, threw the brushes down & cut my finger with the file. I’m not the type to complain & honestly was so saddened by this experience. I wasn’t even going to write a review but I’m just so disappointed & would never want someone to go through this when they are excited to treat themselves after a long work week. I don’t know his name, but I will tell you, he has dyed blonde hair.

Previously had a great experience on a few pedicures but thisn time I got a full set and the nail tech was ride and sighed multiple times. He was very unprofessional. I will never go back and nails are shaped unevenly !
