After not having nails for 8 years, I went in here with my sister. It was really busy but they got right to us. When it came for me to get my nails done I had no idea any of the nail lingo so I just told the guy to go natural looking. Long story short I ended up with something I was disappointed in. My sister absolutely loved hers though. The next day I went back and said I was disappointed and they looked at my nails and said okay we will fix it. They did a much better job and they were very apologetic and didnt even make me pay for them to fix. I absolutely love them now! That is how you should run a business. I will be going back!

Received a gel pedicure today and it is already smudged and chipping off. Gel should be dried instantly, that’s why I paid extra. Also, the lady snatched my debit card, walked around, and sat the card on the table instead of in my hand. No one deserves that kind of service. Will not be returning

This was my first time at this shop I was in town visiting my mom and she recommended this place. We had appointments and we were seated quickly. However the technician who did my pedicure didn’t apply the gel polish correctly I have bubbles/bumps in multiple nails Before leaving I noticed one of my nail just by glance was messed up but I was told by two technicians the polish wasn’t messed up “it’s the light” the man said. When I had the younger lady look at it she made the necessary corrections to that nail. My full set looks like the work of an amateur. During the shaping and length process the technician was very detailed but once he laid the acrylic his work became very inconsistent. I have dips in my nails and some of them end up longer. I had so much glue all over my hands when I left. As well as polish on my fingers. The final result looks horrible after he applied the acrylic and polish. I definitely will not be back. He was also rude and the bill didn’t seem accurate.

The pedicure was the best that I’ve had for a long time! Between Champaign to Springfield, the best! Very relaxing, great massage. Will DEFINITELY go back. Also was so impressed that I tried new nails too, great results!

The best set of nails I’ve ever had! All the same size and length. Look very much like the reference photo I showed. It was more than I normally spend but I got gel so that could be why. 10/10 recommend!! (:

My nails are always great, certain employees do a better job, of course. My friend had a bad experience and they were overcharged for nails that looked bad, but Im always very pleased with my claws. Ive been coming to this shop for years.

I have been going to them for about 6 years. They are friendly and work very hard to get everyone in for services. This is the only nail salon I go to and would highly recommend them to others.

When I came in it was really crowded but they still made sure I was taken care of. Excellent care of my feet- I get calluses so they took care of that and did an awesome massage. Super relaxing and reasonably priced. I will be back.

Luke does beautiful nails and really takes the time to make them as you like. Everyone here is very professional & friendly. I can’t wait to get back...... I was out of town for a while and wasn’t able to get in and have not found anywhere that does as good of a job as Luke and Number One Nails!!Make an appointment, you won’t regret it!!

Best nail place in Springfield! I have been to so many and this was my absolute best experience.. I highly recommend she didnt cut me once was very polite and made sure I loved them every step of the way and I wasnt charged extra for the shape like most places.. I will be going back!

Initially, I thought to give this place 2 stars because of how bad my manicure came out just a day after getting them done but theres potential for some of the nail techs here. Luke is great at long flashy and pretty designed artificial nails, follow his insta, but coming here for a regular shellac/no-chip manicure... will not do again. My manicure has lasted less than 24 hours with one of my nail being completed peeled off and many of the paint lifting on different fingers. Also, a sloppy job with lots of air bubbles left in my nails. Same with the pedicure, lots of extra paint left on my skin arnd my toe-nail. Overall, would not come back for anything basic but if looking to do something special with acrylics, Id give it a try.

This place does the best nails, out of all the places I went to theirs were the best. The nail techs are very nice and professional.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Just had a fill and full pedi done here for the first time. Made an appt for 430, was 10 min early and they had me in the pedi chair as I walked in the door. Started on my Mani about half way through pedi and I was done and out the door in about 1 hr 15 min! Amazing! The atmosphere is great, relaxing and happy. Everyone is easy doing and likes what they do and they are good at it too! Definitely will be a repeat customer of # 1 Nails! Thanks guys!!

I’m upset that I’m not from around here and can’t become a regular at this place! Best set of nails I’ve ever gotten. The gentleman who did my set spent over an hour on them and made sure everything looked perfect. I am VERY picky about my nails and I didn’t even have to tell him that to ensure he took his time. When I went to pay I thought surely it would be costly for the time spent and the fact I got acrylics with shellac on top. Nope. Cheapest set I’ve ever had as well. If I’m around again I’ll be back!!

I fell on some water in there Saturday June 6 they did not show any care or concern I got a fractured bone in my right hand I was always coming in there to get my nails done but now that I see they dont care they will not be getting my service anymore I am trying to sue them they not right

The staff was very friendly, however the lady was extremely rough on my feet and not trying to relax me at all and when they started on my nails she was cleaning my nails and pricked me so hard it made me bleed.

This place does not even deserve a single star. I had my nails done here less than 2 weeks ago and they are already chipping. They were installed onto my nails crookedly and the designs look terrible. Totall waste of $48. Ill stick to Magic Nails on Dirsken next time!!! Never coming here again
