I decided to get my nails done for the first time about a year ago. I met Kim. I love my nails. She does an incredible job. I love showing them off and I get a lot of compliments.

I will never go back here. Nail polish came off with in hours, just peeled right off. And I had to file them down my self. The wait took 1 hour even tho I called and they said they were available now, even after they started on my nails they kept leaving me to go do other peoples nails for 15-20 mins. They were cheap but not worth the wait, and nails paint is cheap I even over heard one if their regulars say their nail polish came off easy and she was getting a discount. I should have left then but my nails were half done. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I came here about a week ago, I had shilac on my toes, they wanted to charge an extra 5 dollars to remove but ended up not charge due to it taking 2 hours to do a pedicure. She than drilled off the gel and kept touching my skin on my toes causing me to bleed. I paid for my daughters nails and a the day after her whole shell on her thumb nail came off. I dont know if the woman was in a hurry, but this was a terrible experience and I wont be back!

I decided to give this salon a try due to the high Google reviews. I was NOT disappointed! I came in for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. They have the most amazing selection of polish I have ever seen. I probably spent most of my visit gawking at the entire wall covered in great brands and such an amazing range of colors.

This was my first time visit to Nus nails on Saturday. It was a last minute decision and they were able to fit me right in. I did not have to wait long. They reassured me that they were working as quickly as they can to get to me. I received a full acrylic set - matte and was assured that if I had any issues to come in and they can take care of it. I am excited to see how well these last and I look forward into coming in again. This is the first place that I have ever visited that I actually loved the customer service and the service that was provided.

I tried this nail salon for the first time last month and I was impressed. Their service is great! They only use clean and sealed utensils. Their prices are fair and the ladies do an amazing job. They use massage chairs for their pedicures which is a nice treat! Definitely would recommend them!!

I had one of the best gel manicures I have ever had here. The customer service is remarkable and they are very easy to communicate with. I was very impressed with the gel manicure technician. I also want to add that the space is really beautiful. Overall, it was one of the best gels I have ever had and I will definitely be coming back.

Great job, great prices, they will be my new nail salon. Kim was fantastic, took care of all my calluses. Took her time, I actually used the massage on the chair which hurt at Royal Nails. Left my feet soaking in warm water long enough to soften my feet. I left very happy and will be back!

This place is everything!! After work I wanted to do some self-care and this salon had been in my bookmarks for months. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and my nail lady spent her time buffing out my nails and working her magic. I really recommend this place.

Its been a couple month since Ive visited. I was in desperate need of a mani/ped. They were able to squeeze me in last minute. I truly felt last level I was missed. I miss coming here. I told the girls to pick the color and design. Surprise me. I am so excited with their idea. I would highly recommend this place.

Very easy going atmosphere, its easy to relax here. I have nothing negative to say at all, despite the 4 out of 5 star rating. My sister has regularly uses this salon, more exactly, Trent, for her nail services for months. Yesterday she invited me along. (I feel bad for the feller that drew my name..... Imagine fingernails chewed down to the shortest possible imaginable length.....💯😯) And she informs me, at 7pm when she picks me up, that they close at 8 but they gonna stay late for us. So long story short, we had a great time. They did 3 of our nails and put up with a healthy dose of yours truly and her mighty mouth. And they only had to stay an hour late. Only the fine details of getting the snags and crags on the underside and corners and the slight thickness and shape irregularities are lacking. But those things are important to me! I super love the Ombre Pink And White tho! Sooooo much better than the stupid short and squashed pink with a half inch white tip look! Thanks Trent!! I love them!

I took my frind and me to Nu Nail Friday February the 20th 2020 and it is now February 24th 2020 four days latter I have 2 infected nails caused by By Nail and all the fillings need to be done after 4 days as well. I called and they claimed to be too busy when I showed up in person with my friend we showed them both our nails they denied any wrong doing and started talking bad about us . No refund and was not made right I would give a 0 star rating if I could! Do not fall a victim of Nu Nail

Ive been going to NUs since July 2016. I enjoy the unhurried pace and the wonderful service. I love how my nails look and have received many compliments. The women who work there are very patient and care about the services they provide. The pedicure I received was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep. Sometimes it has been busy, but thats because they permit walk-ins.I dont mind to wait. In our rushed and hurried culture, its great to experience a slower & relaxing pace. Ive become friends with these hard working ladies and I look forward to not only seeing them, but knowing they will do their very best to make sure my experience is a good one. Avoid this place. The salon desperately needs to be cleaned in all ways you can imagine. I had a basic nail polish applied and I do not like their technique. They use nail polish remover to wipe around the edge of the nail with a large brush that removed the polish from covering the nail, making it very easy for the polish to chip off within a day. I was also disappointed by their outdated equipment, which I somewhat blame for my nails not being dried by the time I had to rush out.

I went in the first time without reading the reviews first, shame on me. I got a fill and a color change with shellac. My shellac chipped on three nails within the first two days. I went back to have them fixed and chose a different color and THE SAME DAY the top coat scratched off of my two pointer fingers and middle finger. I will not be going back here again. I have never had shellac do that and it is too expensive to have messed up within such a short amount of time.

Google made me choose a star rating or else I wouldnt have any stars for this review. I have been here before and was very disappointed because my white tip shellac manicure had separated because the polish was old. I live close by and they are open on Sundays so I decided to give them one more chance since I was in a bind. (Most nail salons in Springfield are not open on Sundays so that is one good thing about Nu, that they are open 7 days a week. If you need a Sunday nail salon always go to Rainbow Nails on Republic Road.) When I arrived there was one other woman getting a pedicure. I asked for a shellac white tip manicure and a simple polish change on my toes. While my current shellac polish was being removed the male worker did my polish change. He used the pedicure tub to spray my feet off after filing my toe nails and then polished my toes there as well. After noticing how unsure he was while painting my toes I decided to just get a very light color painted on my finger nails so that there would be no issues with poor painting skills on a white tip. Essentially I made it 100 times easier for him. I did not have any issues with them cutting my cuticles like other reviewers had but while I was getting my nails done 4 other people came in for pedicures. Even though I had been there first and been there for at least an hour already they stopped in the middle of my manicure and started doing others. Then would come back to me and do one coat and then leave for 15 minutes and then come back again. During this time they did not sanitize the pedicure tub that they sprayed my feet in and put someone elses feet in it for their pedicure. DISGUSTING! Then a woman came in stating that she had a pedicure the day before and her big toe had become red, swollen and sore since then. The female worker Kim told her to come back the following day. After the woman left Kim stated that they say that in case people are lying. I was shocked and just wanted to get out of there. Once my nails were finished they were sub par at best. As I sat there for two hours I saw a few bugs as well. Will never EVER go back again. I recommend Crystal Nails or Rainbow Nails in town. They both have never disappointed me!

Ridiculous. Appointment at 6 pm. We didnt leave until nearly ten pm. I asked for coffin shaped and they werent even close. So I asked her to round them off to almond shaped, that failed too. The paint was great! Although she told me they were dry and I bumped my nail against something and scraped down to the acrylic.Same for my sister in law. She told the manicurist to shorten her nails about ten times and they didnt shorten them at all. The shapes are off, and her paint is messed up.We were also charged more for simple white tip gel, and painted toes (50$) than we were for a pedicure and acrylic nails.Not to mention, while getting my feet done, I was the last of our group to get them done. The pedicurist sat in front of me, and then when the woman next to me mentioned her water was cold, she moved away from me (I came in first) and began working on this other womans feet!My sister in law also didnt receive part of her pedicure (no scrub, no hot towel), which they addressed by questioning her statement that she didnt receive the service, and finally by 5$ off.Overall, I would NEVER get my nails done here again. We are currently headed to the store to get files and paint so that we can fix the nails that they did.I would give 1/2 star if that was an option. Maybe.

Pedicure was good but wont let them do my nails again. They are always uneven and they didnt ask how long I wanted them. They just cut them the length they wanted. If I wanted them shirt there would w no reason to get them. Elegant Nails is the only one who will do my nails from now on

I liked this place a lot, the lady that did my nails was very nice and did them perfectly how I wanted them. The only down side about it is that I had to wait 2 hours before it was my turn. I think they need more people working to make sure no one is waiting.

For your health, safety, and to not waste money, please dont go here. I went here because my usual spot was closed because its a Sunday. I dont even know where to start. The building was filthy; dirty, hair, and trash on the floor, Brown goo dripping from the ceiling, overflowing boxes piled up against the walls. The lady who did the fill on my acrylics, did horribly. She used the rotating filing tool and would get to talking and not paying attention to what she was doing and grind down my skin. I yanked my hand away, she apologized quietly, but did the same thing again 5 other times. I have a raw tip of my ring finger, a cut on one finger, and my cuticle and skin are disconnected on another finger. It was horrible. Then she cut my nails crooked and I assumed she would straighten them out before she finished but she didnt. I will have to file them myself because they are literally at a diagonal slant. There was no air conditioning on and the front door was wide open, which resulted in flies landing on me continuously. A woman came in for a pedicure and my nail tech went over and worked on her feet and then tried to come back and grab my hands with wet, dirty hands. After the pedicure woman left, they didnt disinfect then pedi throne or run disinfectant through the jets, which is a big big deal. Its theyre responsibility to keep the public safe by keeping everything disinfected or sterilized. She kept asking me if I wanted a pedicure which was annoying because I politely declined every time. She also kept trying to get details out of me on my usual nail place, like theirs prices, how they do services, how many people work there. I told her I didnt remember but she kept pressing. She completely forgot that she had filed one and went to put the acrylic on and scolded me for not bringing it to her attention that she forgot to file one hand. It was bad and disgusting and I couldnt wait to get out of there. My nails look horrible. They are all crooked, filled with air bubbles, and are uneven thickness. I will never go back. They are a health risk and I am surprised they are even open.

This place needs to be shut down, they did not do my nails the correct way, they painted my whole finger practically then used finger nail polish remover to remove from my skin. Or whole finger except the nail. They said they used acrylic and they did not. The nail polish was all gooy and old. The shaping was horrible not to mention they charge for shaping. Excuse me but i believe when u do do a persons nails that is includes the cost. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!

Absolutely terrible service. I got a manicure (no polish) and pedicure. The manicure is completely uneven, cuticles showing, not filled or cut correctly. The manicure is so bad I am coming home to clip my nails myself. The pedicure is better and was done by another person but still has polish smeared and not a clean look at all. Not to mention for a gel pedicure and manicure they charged me $47.00 when it was absolutely horrific. Would not suggest to anyone. I also posted a picture for reference.

Do not go here. The person who did my nails was completely rude and did my nails while attempting to do someone elses nails and someone elses pedicure. I was there for a total of 4 hours! All I needed was a full set put on. When she was done the nails had rough edges and the sides were splitting before I even left the business. I asked the lady doing my nails several times to fix them and she told me it was my fault that they were not even. She attempted to place a purple line on them, but the polish was light on one hand and dark on the other. When I asked her to make the lines darker so each hand would match she informed me she could not help what the polish does and refused to do anything about it. Instead she took the polish off and covered the nails with clear gel coat and told me I was all done. She then attempted to charge me for the purple polish and informed me I needed to leave her a tip for being so much trouble. The nails have bubbles in them, are still completely uneven, and after 2 days have already split through the white tip. Do not go here.

Wish I would have read the reviews first. Awful. I wanted my nails thinned and the lady told me that in order for her to thin them I would have to pay extra. My nails are bumpy and have tons of bubbles. The lady was very rude and disrespectful. She told my sister and I that other places who do it any cheaper must not do a good job. And told my sister she was wrong about the other places prices.

I went in at 5:15pm and left at 8:15. I had a simple gel manicure. It wasnt busy and there were four employees present when I got there. Two left in the process and each employee was definitely taking their time with their customers, stopping to talk and get up and do other things in between. After waiting for about twenty minutes with my hands soaking in alcohol, I was finally given a seat and it took them over an hour to get the old gel off my nails just because she wouldnt scrape hard enough. I think there is only one lady who actually knows what she is doing there because she had to keep fixing all the other employees mistakes including the woman painting my nails. I would give them no stars but they did lower the price of my manicure considering I left after close. Even with the repeated discount offered if I came back, Im NEVER going back. In fact, Im going somewhere else this week to fix my manicure that was so poorly done.
